new star trek show about a bunch of starfleet academy cadets who do fuck all. asking the big questions like ‘what if star trek had 85% more relationship drama? and was about a bunch of guys who suck?” anyway here’s squadron 7022.

background notes i couldn’t fit anywhere else:

takes place vaguely in the early 2300s. characters on the same refs are roomate groupings.

1/C, 2/C, 3/C, and 4/C just stand for ‘first class/ second class’ etc. like first class cadet (meaning senior) and moving down in seniority.

margaret goes by ‘marnie’ (this would not fit on her sheet. sorry)

morgan’s freshman squadron got wrapped up in this huge galaxy-wide life-or death plot. morgan, who was always at soccer practice, had no idea this was going on. when the news about this broke, half the squad got sent out on this amazing assignment tracking down this plot. morgan got reassigned to a new squad. and of course only the sophomore squads still had room, hence why she’s here.

morgan also thinks the only reason she was placed in THIS squad is because they’re terrible at intramurals. and marnie hates losing to the other squads. since morgan joined there has been a marked increase in the squads win/loss rate.

sidney lived for a few years up by dakota, when her parents were stationed on a starfleet base there. their senior year, dakota got a spot at the academy, and sidney (legacy) did not. she’s still mad about this, even though she got in the next year.

dakota took a gap year after freshman year to ‘explore himself’ . sidney is extraordinarily mad about this too. also explains why they’re in the same grade.

it’s hotly debated who actually is the guidon (the bearer of their squadrons flag, in picture 2) . it’s pretty much been traded through all the underclassmen, though currently it rotates through kiv (forgets it all over the place), sidney (gets wayyyy to aggressive with it) and dakota (doesn’t give a shit about any of this).

kiv and dakota are also vaguely dating. both of them forget this a lot though. and they’re also sort of not.

finally most of my information on how squads work at starfleet academy comes from the book ‘the best and the brightest’ . i also drew some stuff from the nova + red squadrons from tng and ds9 respectively and from personal experience from going to a regimented academy. lol

Urasa:

Urasa was abandoned by his father as part of some double-cross/life lesson about being weak. He met a Klingon boy named Adokthosh and saw that he was weak and cowardly compared to the others around him. Urasa ran away from the care of his Romulan bretheren and the two of them began working together to get to the top of the Klingon empire through lying, cheating, bribing, and stealing. I'm sure that'll all go well for them! I'm also sure there won't be any complicated romantic feelings. Bartovka:

She & Asil (Tuvok's daughter) have a longrunning evil-doer vs gallant hero thing going on. Thankfully Bartovka is usually easily foiled because she loves expositing about her devious plans and also is so full of herself that she makes it kinda easy to defeat her.

She figured out she was trans because of Asil. The two of them get in a lot of …. situations. Together.

She has two kids and a wife that she's trying to avoid at all costs because she's pretty sure they'll try to kill her if they find her. Or worse, she'll have to pay child support.

OC Introduction: V

V is the half Vulcan and half Q Chief Science Officer aboard the USS Andromeda. Although she looks rather intimidating, standing at 6’10” tall and having a resting face that looks naturally angry, she is a good friend, and quite reserved. She is closest with her best friend Rutek. The pair of them are inseparable and have been since they were born. They have been through everything together and the pair share a bond with each other that is not only emotional, but telepathic too. V is very smart, and in true Vulcan fashion, very logical. Underneath her Vulcan exterior, however, she is extremely passionate and is in a constant battle to maintain control of her emotions. She is full of emotional turmoil, from her fear and anger toward the Q to her love for her friends. She can also be quite impulsive and will act very quickly, often going off on her own before consulting others. She is fascinated by the universe, and wants to learn everything she can about it. She is quite curious and inquisitive, and will pursue answers to anything she doesn't know about. When not on the bridge, V can usually be found in one of the science labs, running various experiments and trying to figure things out. She also enjoys stargazing on the hull of the ship, usually sketching out and taking notes on anything interesting she sees. Although she just wants to be a Starfleet officer, she often finds herself dragged into the affairs of the Q. Each of her encounters with them has left a profound impact on her, and she tries her best to navigate through life while balancing the two different sides of herself.

Here they are, the crew of the U.S.S. Azteca, my Star Trek Online ship. It's a galaxy-class vessel similar to the Enterprise, but I imagine that it has a more Lower Decks vibe, with a quite unorthodox captain...

Ten years after a solar ship and her crew disappear, never to be seen again, STAR TREK: PAROUSIA follows the crew of her sister ship, each deeply affected by this tragedy and unable to move on in their lives.

Timekeeper.

This is Qianna, or Q. But she’s called Qianna by the narrative for convience sake among mortals - not by her fellow Q. Qianna’s one of the main antagonists for my friend @pixelplanetig’s star trek fan series, Star Trek Andromeda! Shes in charge of overseeing the prime timeline, and of the Q is by far one of the most terrifying.

Despite her beautiful attire, she instills terror and dread in mortals - due to the innate fear of the passage of time (death, old age, and the like). Her eyes are lifeless and flat, too vacant to be human.

Now that I got that out of the way, she is very very dear to me, as you can tell by the 99 images I’ve drawn of her on Toyhouse (which is very convoluted but you should totally read >:) ).
