I just want to say this, and yes, you know who you are:

Don't use Tenoch's allegations as a way to advance your shipping or character bias. Do not take advantage of a serious, divisive, and delicate case to claim moral superiority in fandom. Do not use this as your fandom whacking stick or fandom cancelation plug.

I am starting to notice anti-nashuri or Namor haters conflating fictional work and the character Namor with Tenoch Huerta in an asinine hope to:

A) carve remaining fans out as "problematic"

B) find an insidious way to justify their controlling, immature desire to have fans stop producing work they always had a hate for

Separate the actor and reality from the character and fiction, first and foremost. That's your problem now.

Who cares if there is a Nashuri week (which has been in progress before the allegations)? Who cares if fans still leave their stories up? Who cares if people still like Namor or Nashuri? Who cares if people still make Nashuri, Namor, or just Namor + Shuri edits? Who cares if some people still write and draw art of Namor rooted in their appreciation for Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole's writing? No one sane should or would care. It's not "daring to have a nerve" or problematic. It isn't immediately them "defending" Tenoch.

As long as that's just what it is, fans can still be fans. Fans can still appreciate the characters and their relationships. Fans can still have escapism. Fans can still be happy and produce content that makes them happy. You have no right to impede on that, but you do have the right to feel uncomfortable or not want it on your feed. If that's the case, act accordingly: block, mute, press "uninterested," and curate your space. Not run and post these fake ass high and mighty spiels where you clearly concern yourself more with fandom (reporting fanart? Be for real) than the actual situation, trying to rile up a crowd and drum up negativity.

I have seen shaken fans of nashuri or Namor who have been victims of sexual violence and assault catching strays.

I have seen vulturish anti-Namor or anti-nashuri fans immediately taking this news as, "So this means you should finally stop doodling and liking a pairing/character I do not!"

I have seen gross anti-fans rub it in fans' faces, being the awful bearer of bad news and "watch dogs" hoping to gleefully observe them crumble.

I have seen immature Shuri (and other variants) stans who had it out for Namor or nashuri since day one, using this as a way to justify their hate and hateful behavior. It's almost as though they were waiting for something, anything like this to make a chess move (some of them admitting as much).

Do you know how manipulative, deceitful, and twisted this all is?

This isn't even accounting for the fact that Tenoch's situation is a difficult one to pinpoint as the story progressed, to say the very least. You'd know that if you truly gave a damn and followed the story or at the very least alleged victim. It's shrouded in specifics and unwinding stories.

There is ample information that later emerged and details (from Mexican politics to confirmed lies) that makes this case a very scary gray. I have seen many nashuri and Namor fans express dismay and sorrow over the news. People immediately weighed into the alleged victim's testimony and had serious conversations about where they wanted to go from there. Some pulled back their Namor content out of shock. People were torn and took this very seriously with a "blackout" period. It was only until further information that complicated everything came out that some decided to take different positions, while others still wanted to remain cautious and neutral, but still enjoy the little fandom haven they curated with their friends.

This is no light matter. There are real people and their livelihoods, lives on the line. People were distraught and, unlike most of these fake ass pearl grippers posting memes in the same breath, made an effort to initially follow the alleged victim (ready to renounce Tenoch) and dig for the truth. Fans even stressed to take the victims' words into consideration, rather than being blinded by celebrity worship.

So... To see anti-fans being utterly disingenuous and trying to villify a whole group whose crime is just liking a normal fictional property is insane. It's gross. It's sick. It's malicious. It's low.

It makes me livid, and I hope you reap what you sow. I am five seconds away from listing names and putting them on blast for this outrageous (continous) behavior. Someone liking a character Tenoch played or said character being shipped with another should be the least of your problem.

I have never met people as hostile to their own cause as the End OTW Racism crowd. Do you have questions about how their proposed solutions work? You're pro-racist, you piece of shit. You want to know more proposed solutions beyond 'hire staff to review things reported as racist'? That's just what a racist would say. You think that blocking and muting people who are racist is a good step to take to protect yourself? Typical pro-racist rhetoric. You want to know how staff is supposed to deal with people reporting things to spite others, reports that are in error, and make a judgment call on what is and is not racist? I gather that these people think people care about some big-name anti in their midst but honestly, from their seething contempt for everyone who even asks a single follow-up question about the logistics of something to their utter disgust towards anyone who they perceive as not being on their side, they're the ones making me not have a lot of faith in this as an idea.

But if you don't have a lot of faith in it, you're of course 1. white and 2. rejoicing that an anti-racism campaign is failing, you racist. So I'm sure they read this, yelled, "fucking pro-racist white cishet lady!" and reassured themselves they're doing something great for fandom, meanwhile in reality the first time I hear about it was a white person telling my black ass that I was pro-racist for asking what End OTW Racism even was. Don't know about their campaign? You're racist. Want to learn more? Racist. Oh, sure, you can say no one told you, but that's just a lie meant to excuse your racism.

Bruh. I was SPAT ON at a convention last week for cosplaying while black, how likely is it that my tumblr, AO3, Instagram and Tiktok, which are all under the same handle, are all elaborate deepfakes by a hardcore white racist pretending to be black? By contrast, how likely is it that on a planet of 8 billion, one person might not have heard of your internet thing? Especially since my fandom is an old one that refuses to move fic onto AO3 and keeps posting on FFN? Wait, wait, let me guess - "that's just what a pro-racist would say!" ?

IDK about ending OTW racism but it's definitely helped fandom racism as a whole stay alive and thrive by giving white teens in the suburbs an excuse to call me racist with impunity so hats off for that. Really made my life better as a black trans person in fandom.

Lets talk about something controversial--

Lets talk about how BALLS-DEEP taekookers have embedded themselves inside the fandom to the point of Armys DEFENDING THEM over protecting the ones constantly being the target of this disgusting breed.

We (the OG fans who were there since the beginning and noticed the moment it started) warned ya'll about this; for MONTHS, for YEARS. But ya'll didn't listen. Just let it happen.

It started with Big “OT7″ accounts ignoring the issue and deeming it “just shipping wars”, “focus on BTS only”, to the fandom collectively turning a blind eye the bigger the hate got with every little "ignore and block", every "you need to curate your TL better so you don't constantly see that--"

We warned ya'll and you called us Crazy, you called us Delusional, you called us Entitled, you called us Problematic Old Hags. And now I fear we may never get rid of taekookers AT ALL.

EXHIBIT A:

Lets start with something that happened a few days ago. It started with a TKer using a set-up account to drag The Weekend for that weirdo netflix series. Which for some reason it called the attention of Abel (the lead vocal)'s attention to the point of quoting it, which in turn gave the tweet MORE attention/views.

As soon as the tweet started getting the desired amount of clout, the TKer changed the entire layout from taekook to Jimin to make it seem like "oh, pjms again starting shit because they're bored" (when in reality Jimin stans were hyper focused on streaming & buying 'Like Crazy' since the song was about to break the record for longest days charting and also the 119 #1s on iTunes), but what everyone ignored completely was the fact that despite switching the layout the person was actively dragging & defaming Jimin on that same acc & liking tweets from Jimin antis. But NOBODY CARED ABOUT THAT, because armys only saw "a jimin stan being problematic". And it took ONE Jennie solo stan calling out armys hypocrisy for the way they've always given trashcookers a free-pass in their fandom instead of defending Jimin, when both he and Jennie get the most hate from them on all platforms.

But AGAIN, what did the fandom do? Instead of actively reporting and trying to get the TKer suspended, they switched to attacking that Jennie solo stan AND slvtshaming Jennie as well. As for the person who started the whole thing? Deactivated and is probably STILL around with a different account spreading more hate and ways to get away with it.

EXHIBIT B: The #s war from yesterday.

Again, it was a TKer who started trending those disgusting tags over a harmless joke about spotify debut numbers. The hashtags were ALL initially AGAINST JIMIN ONLY, and each one more vile than the last and the bastards even celebrated that they got them to trend so quickly and were even putting money into keeping them up longer.

(I spent an unhealthy amount of hours out of my life yesterday reporting & blocking people from BOTH ends, but it was just neverending! And for some reason twitter wasn’t showing all of the reports I made which frustrated me even more).

But armys only cared about the issue when Jimin stans actually started fighting back, using the SAME #s against TKers. NOT BECAUSE JIMIN HAD BEEN DEHUMANIZED/DEFAMED FIRST, BUT BECAUSE NOW IT INVOLVED 2 MORE MEMBERS (otherwise they would have ignored it). So instead of helping to clear the searches and reporting EVERYONE who was using the #s, they ONLY reported/suspended Jimin stans and instead trended “BTS IS 7″ initially, while the TKer who started this whole thing is STILL around, active on another acc after deactivating.

This gave TKers the upper-hand to once again SWITCH THE SITUATION IN THEIR FAVOR, by gaslighting armys/ot7s into thinking and trending: “solosOUT” “ALL SOLOS ARE ANTIS” “WE LOVE YOU TAEKOOK” “WE LOVE YOU [X, Y, Z member]”

(I even saw BTS members who weren’t involved in the issue being included in the tags as well to divert attention further from the fact that it was taekook shippers who started this shit).

And if you had looked closely at the first tweets using these tags, you would have noticed TONS of taekookers with the cult symbol on their username at the same time putting ALL of the blame on Jimin stans and accusing armys of ONLY caring about Jimin but never defending Taekook.

Which now has officially enabled the mentality inside the fandom that calling out Taekook Shippers = shading/hating Taehyung & Jungkook as individuals.

But its OKAY to call out Jikookers/Kookminers (cause they’re now “Tae antis” by association) & anyone who defends Jimin, because its OKAY for Jimin to get hate/shade as long as Taekook are protected. LOL what a fucking joke of a fandom (Alexa, play “Face-Off” )

EXHIBIT C: VMinKook at SG’s concert today

The 3 maknaes were literally standing/sitting together, playing. vibing to the concert (there’s literal clips of them talking, interacting and playing with the army bombs). But what topics made noise first?

“Taekook together at the concert” “Taekook concert date” “Taekook ignored Jimin, as they should” “Jimin left first/alone in his own car because he’s bitter.”

I even saw one where tkers were UPSET because “Jimin didnt pay attention” whenever tk interacted. Like sis makeup your mind, are you happy he’s no longer interacting like before or are you desperate for his validation that will never come???

Jimin is unbothered, happy and busy and probably had some schedule to attend after the concert, but these deranged mfers will always see what they want and armys will always give them a free-pass instead of addressing the pink elephants on parade in the room.

And if this is the fandom we have to go back to when and IF BTS ever return as 7 after enlistment (given that they don’t actually disband after that not so subtle hint suga made at the end of the concert)? Then I’m about ready to drop BTS as a whole the moment Jimin goes in for his service. ‘Cause this ain’t it.

I'm letting you know right now it's not a one way harassment campaign it is very much a standard fandom war with two sides who are both being annoying like you saw with the Reylos and with the Vriskourse and with the Snape apologists and with whatever the fuck the Voltron fandom had going on idk and with pretty much every other fandom since the beginning of time. Yeah there was a situation in which the employer of an Izzy enjoyer was threatened to be called very early on by someone who has an MO of hopping from fandom to fandom being a shit to anyone who doesn't meet their insane purity standards. There's a group of people attempting to varying degrees of success to bully anyone who didn't like Izzy Hands into silence, but honestly they're not very good at it. There was a really racist and ablist anon that harassed literally everyone, myself included, in the fandom regardless of their opinion on Izzy under the guise of hating Izzy stans but who seems to just hate anyone who doesn't appropriately suck Stede's dick, just block and report if they show up in your inbox they're corny. We as the OFMD fandom are very much not in undertale putting needles in cookies to hand out at cons bad yet, we're not even as bad as the SU critters got really. If anyone comes at you on a high horse claiming to be oppressed for their fandom opinions block them and continue posting whatever you want in whatever tags you want. Not everyone who doesn't like Izzy is an evil anti responsible for doxxing and not everyone who does like Izzy an abuse apologist Stan driving poc out of the fandom.

the person targeting you is ᴍᴇʟᴏᴢᴀɪ (ᴅᴀᴢᴀɪᴏʟᴏɢʏ on twitter), someone who has been harassing bsd creators (Chuuya stans and skk writers) for over a year now. she’s the 18 year old who claimed to be “a 14 year old from Reddit” for months so that she could play the minor card every chance she got before her identity was revealed. unfortunately she's impossible to reason with bc she thinks Chuuya stans + skk stans are all “Dazai antis” and she uses that to justify her harassment. just with me alone — she’s stopped recently, but she had sent me 500+ messages to date over the span of 8 months, created multiple accounts daily to circumvent my blocking, sending me messages ranging from death threats to misogynistic insults to accusing me of random things and blaming me for her mental health— when 1) i also am not a fic writer, 2) i had never interacted with her before she started bombarding me, and 3) i mainly post about Chuuya. it’s not about “defending Dazai” like she claims. it’s about the fact that she can’t stand to see anyone like Chuuya as a character, especially more than Dazai, bc she personally hates Chuuya.

she’s pretty relentless once she gets started to the point where police reports have been filed against her for cyberstalking and harassment, and i know some people have considered taking further legal action. if it gets that bad for you (like it was with my friends and I), that is something you may consider doing if feasible. AO3 had previously investigated her main account and suspended it as well, but she’s a big fan of creating numerous burners. for now i can only encourage you to report her (and continue doing so) bc she really does not know when to stop, and try ignoring her if you can (though speaking from experience: it’s easier said than done).

again i’m really sorry to hear that she’s targeting you. she can get pretty extreme and it can take a toll on your mental health having to deal with her for sure so if you ever want to vent or talk about it feel free to reach out!

This ask may hv been controversial and I do admit there is a certain bias from me that lead to this particular ask.

My twitter feed has been imploding with how the sabotage is more towards Jimin as compared to the other members.

I dont like to compare within BTS themselves but I was truely frustrated with regards to YT views for Like Crazy.

And whether Hanteo really is a sabotage against Jimin.

Suga told us that online is different than reality.

I do hope that Jimin is really loved and not getting as much hatred as I saw online.

I knew he had a couple DTs but my fellow army who was a much longer army told me that the DTs is not isolated to Jimin alone. RM also got many DTs.

But from what I saw in the airports, the security is typically much more strict with Jimin as compared to the others. Hence my worries.

But going by that I do think that Hybe / BH really values and make sure of Jimin's security.

Just that... the last few days has not been easy as twitter has been real toxic following the Jikook hug during Jhope sent away.

I feel your frustration. Especially for the deleted Youtube views, Hanteo sales, and Billboard sales because these are all things that remain unresolved with no explanation.

What I don't understand though, is your confusion over whether or not Jimin is loved. I understand that in the spaces where Jimin is the focus all the time, his other 'fans', the antis, too love to join the party. It's an unfortunate feature of stan twitter that the people who love something the most meet those who hate it most. And the hate against Jimin can be especially graphic. But you also have to remember the kind of person Jimin is. He is hardworking, intense, beautiful, intentionally kind, intelligent.

He is loved. By his group members, by his family, by his friends, by his team, by his company, by his fans. I disagree with some of what you're communicating in your ask, just my opinion, but I can also see it's clear that you love him too. You care for him.

Jimin is loved, already working on his next solo project, jikooking with Jungkook, running and exercising, eating good food and having sex. Going to the dentist too, maybe. I suggest we focus on what we can control: listen to his music, clean up your online spaces with reporting and blocking, celebrating him where you are, remembering he is an adult Korean man with agency and grit.

None of this hate or sabotage will leave a lasting impact on Jimin. He's Park Jimin.

You think pjms are setting up Jimin for hate? Really? The problem is not the other haters, maybe? You do state that other deranged people take any chance to hate on Jimin. Ok. Like tkkrs today with the interactions that we saw between Jimin and Jungkook.

If Jimin exists these people consider him a threat. And they should. Jimin is the best. So the blame is not pjms. Its the insecurities of the other solos and anger from other fandoms. And the fact that twitter is a dumpster.

It would be hypocritical of me to say that pjms should not have done that and they should have just reported. I'm kinda done being the bigger person when it comes to the hate Jimin gets and the way army and fans have normalized this. So pjms did what they had to do. It wasn't nice but it's what was done.

I support Jimin like crazy and state that in my blog all the time and people come and send angry rants like children asking why I only love him and not their favorite.

And you know what? I don't care about their opinion or harassing asks or their wannabe guilt trips they try to send me on. I don't care about army, other Jikookers, solos, whoever. I only care what I want and I care about Jimin. And what I want is to love and support Jimin. And I will say that over and over. If someone has a problem with my opinion, they can block me. And of course people have a problem with others loving Jimin or defending Jimin. Because it's Jimin.

If you want to scream to the world that you love and support Jimin, do it. Why would you be scared of people who hide behind the screen? If someone says something, block them and continue professing your love for Jimin.

That works for me and I don't find it hard at all.

Greetings humans, I have decided to make use of my ask box and take in requests for writing stuff! (Specifically surrounding my fixations with slashers ofc, however this blog will still be personal and I will deviate to posting my own things), and with this new thing in mind, this also comes with rules and a masterlist. I can be pretty slow with writing requests due to school work and irl things so please bear with me. (¯ . ¯٥)

I won’t answer to any repeated requests that have already been done before.

If I am uncomfortable with the request I will delete it from my inbox. (This also goes for lack of motivation to write, but there’s the high possibility I will keep them for the future!)

How do you guys read hate tweets/comments about Jimin without it upsetting you? I see some Jimin focused blogs here posting screenshots about Jimin antis saying the most awful things about him, and I ask myself 'how do they do that?'. I read something terrible being said about Jimin, I get so heartbroken that it puts me in a bad mood for the rest of the day. Sometimes I wanna respond to these comments but when I try to type down what I want to say, I literally already feel so exhausted. So I just report the person, block them and stay out of social media altogether for the rest of the day. Sometimes this feeling can stretch on for days to a week, so I'd stay off social media for that long

I really want to know how to read anti stuff and not let it get to me so much because all that hate just can't be escaped if you love Jimin and follow socials about him. Even if you curate your timeline and block Jimin stans who like getting into petty fights with rival stans, it all finds a way to slip through in some way. So how do I become emotionally strong?

I used to be a lot like you, too. Maybe it wouldn't ruin my day but I've cried. Many times. Last year, when these things didn't even matter to me as much as they used to, the things I read one day were so bad that I threw up. Now... I have low blood pressure and a meek stomach so I used to throw up a lot even on good days (now it's under control), but sometimes it was triggered by stress or negative emotions. And that's what happened that day.

2021, 2022 I used to get back at people. Not all the time, not even often, but yeah sometimes. And my tweets used to get lots of engagements too. I mean, at least what was "a lot" for solo spaces back then; 200, 300 likes. Nowadays I see akgaes tweets getting 2k likes, but it started being like that after face. Anyways, I used to get back at people who were lying, because that's what's always bothered me the most.. the lies. As I've said before, it wouldn't bother me if the things they said about Jimin were true. If he was a terrible person, or if let's say he had actually gotten any special treatment, then I'd understand if people were mad. For example, you can't call Jimin names and say he sleeps with his boss only to have photos of Jungkook having dinners with said boss. The hypocrisy, the lies always bothered me. The character assassination mission people have been on when it came to Jimin. The gross edits, I never knew what to say to that because I don't have it in me to be sexually violent to other people and I also never wanted to bring that stuff to others. But lies were something I could at least try to correct.

I'm not sure I have a real advice, though. I don't exactly know when I started getting desensitized to it. To be fair, I don't read the tweets. Maybe it's once a week that I come across some report page or some pjm profile where they're having a back and forth with another akgae. But I usually don't see the hate lately.

I think what worked for me was deactivating my Twitter account every once in a while. Everytime I came back, I would go back with less "emotions" if that makes sense? I would not react so strongly like I did before; you'll start seeing things as less important than before. I used to deactivate whenever Jimin didn't have schedules, or sometimes I just felt like I had had enough and wanted to take a break. Maybe nothing happened, but I just felt like it was necessary. You have to learn how to deal with fomo, though, and then you'll be able to do that. I used to deactivate and then check stuff from fanbases and not fan accounts. I still do that, mostly though I do check a couple of fan accounts, too.

I’ve gotta say something though.

I’m not sure if it’s the new fans that are mentioning Billy in a negative light, but it’s something I’ve noticed a lot recently especially on TikTok.

If I recall correctly, technically he was supposed to be a racist character since the Duffer bros wanted Dacre to throw in the n-word but Dacre refused. He had to pretty much twist their arms to get them to accept that he didn’t want to play a prejudiced character, so they wrote it off and Dacre won.

So it just doesn’t make sense to me when people say Billy is racist whenever it was written off.

I know people use that scene of Max at the arcade but here’s how I interpret it, if I saw someone arguing with my little sister without knowing the context I would be upset as well. I’d be telling her to stay away from him (since of course it’s a boy who could break her heart or hurt her worse) as well.

Billy has problems in other ways, but he wouldn’t be racist. He has no time to discriminate, he’s gonna hate every motherfucker in his way.

Tiktok is obsessed with purity culture and cancelling someone for sneezing at this point. They're trying to "expose" Metallica for shit they did in the 80s that metal fans already know about.

They don't have critical thinking skills in the slightest. I've started blocking an anti Billy shit I see and I'm 🤏 to reporting them for bullying lmao. Its all Eddie fans trying to "show Billy fans we shouldn't stan him" which is just hilarious. I like Eddie but my guy was out here selling hardcore drugs to teens, he isn't a perfect angel and that's okay. Actually its better than being boring lol.

Okay, never followed that Tae anti. Reported and blocked them. But what about all the big Taekook accounts hating Jimin everyday? Do you blog about that to? Ask your followers to report them too maybe? Or is it only if it's about Tae?

Only when it's about Tae because I'm secretly a Tae solo stan. 🙄 I have these posts pinned about antis. Because I've gotten specific asks about those specific antis. Which include Jimin, JK and a Tae antis now

As for what isn't pinned. I have in the past used a different link than one someone sent to me in an ask with the reference that the user they sent the video from was actually an ___ anti and asked people to block if they haven't before going on to answer the ask. I've also in the past shared in comments of other people's post that they are linking to JM antis. And on my Twitter, which I'll give you a pass for because most people here don't know my twt acc, I've called many a people out for following JM antis and if they are decent, helped them clean up their following list if they genuinely didn't know. Because I'm, shockingly, a nice person.

Why aren't you concerned about if I'm asking people to block hyung line antis though too? Or is it just Jimin antis you want to double check that I'm "fighting" against? I don't actually owe yall any explanations for how I defend the members you know.
