Amazing to me how many violence loving bigots are trying to act like their fetish for the brutalization of innocents is somehow progressive or in support of any cause.

Equating a brutal group of terrorists with all Palestinians is bigoted and untrue. Saying Hamas's tactics are acceptable since Palestinians just can't help committing war crimes because they are incapable of not brutalizing old women and children is bigoted and untrue. Saying it's ok to rape and torture people to death as long as they're Jews is bigoted and untrue.

Hamas stands for nothing. They are a hate group. Just like their supporters.

Your emotions should not solely depend on others. It's important to cultivate emotional resilience and a sense of self-worth that isn't solely reliant on external factors. When you have a strong sense of self-love, your relationships become a choice rather than a means to fill an emotional void.

This year I’ve prepared myself to lose a lot of people in my life

Because I finally have the courage to say out loud that

Even though I am loved I don’t like the way some people love me.

They may think they are doing a good job but I don’t feel that’s what I deserve.

I deserve to be loved better.

And if you can’t do that and commit to it… there’s the door

Everytime i rewatch billy and mandy, theres a point where episode after episode characters a being threw glass windows and it shatters everywhere. Was this an inside job that kept escalating, was there a lifted "no broken glass" rule and you guys just went crazy with it?

I'm not sure how that happened. We... justified it once. Somehow. And that justification led to more breaking glass. And then CN started to get nervous. And then we did Attack of the Clowns and there was SO much glass. But it was so funny that some execs fought for it. And then we had this big, slippery pile of bloodstained broken glass. What were we going to do? NOT use it!?

Umbrellas and automobiles are different. Not just because of size, function, and cost. But for a reason we seldom stop to consider. A person can use an umbrella without buying another product. An automobile, by contrast, is useless without fuel, oil, repair services, spare parts, not to mention streets and roads. The humble umbrella, therefore, is a rugged individual, so to speak, delivering value to its user irrespective of any other product. The mighty auto, by contrast, is a team player completely dependent on other products. So is a razor blade, a tape recorder, a refrigerator, and thousands of other products that work only when combined with others. The television set would stare blankly into the living room if someone somewhere were not transmitting images to it. Even the lowly closet hanger presupposes a rack or bar to hang it on. Each of these is part of a product system. It is precisely their systemic nature that is their main source of economic value. And just as "team players" must play by certain agreed-on rules, systemic products need standards to work. A three-pronged electrical plug doesn't help much if all the wall sockets have only two slots. This distinction between stand-alone and systemic products throws revealing light on an issue that is widening today's information wars all around the world. The French call it la guerre des normes—“the war over standards." Battles over standards are raging in industries as diverse as medical technology, industrial pressure vessels, and cameras.

if he doesn't pull you closer as u drive a sword through his stomach to protect you from the mages surrounding because of a killing spree is he even worth it? if he doesn't shield you with his dying body and entwine your hands as a secret personal love code then can he really mean it?

Saltburn sets the bar high. He loves you, but would he drink your bathwater? Would he lick your fluids? Would he fuck your grave? Would he literally lose his mind?

Your standards are there to protect you, so that you can find the right person who fits your life. They aren’t there for you to make demands and try to force people to meet you at a level you already know they are not. It’s not about anything other than your own protection and peace.
