He fumbled around in his dark tin for a few seconds before pulling out a rolled up joint. He put it between his lips, lit it and took a long drag before asking, "So lemme get this right," he leaned on the table, "you want me to pretend to be your boyfriend in order to make your ex-boyfriend jealous? Correct?"
You nodded, "Yes." You'd thought of the idea last night and when you saw Eddie in the halls that morning, you realised that he was the perfect candidate to ask to do this. It was a pretty wild idea, a fake boyfriend, but you wanted to prove your ex wrong, prove every cruel thing that he said about you wrong.
"And why me?" He took another drag, smoke puffing out the side of his mouth.
You shrugged, "You'd annoy the shit out of him, Eddie, why not be you?"
Eddie smirked, "Why do you want to make him jealous? Are you wanting to get back together with him?"
You grimaced and quickly shook your head, "God no, I just want to rub it in his face. He's a snarky asshole, he said some pretty awful stuff and I want to prove him wrong... So what do you think?"
"I... Why the hell not?" He grinned, motioning with his hands as he did so, "When do we start, Princess?"
You beamed at him, "Eddie, you're a life saver! Um, there's a party tonight, Jason's throwing it out at Benny's old diner."
Eddie groaned, "Carver? God, he's the worst!"
"I know but Ben will be there-" Eddie cut in asking if 'Ben' was your ex, "Yeah, he'll be there so I need him to see us together. We have to make it as realistic as possible you know."
"So you're okay with me flirting, kissing, touching?"
"If it feels right in the moment but-" a bubble of anxiety came from inside you. You weren't a petite, skinny girl, you had fat and a protruding stomach... some things that Ben didn't like anymore, "You sure you're okay to be seen with me? I mean... I'm not the most attractive or skinniest girl in Hawkins."
Eddie leaned on his elbows, watching you with curious eyes. You had been so confident up until this point, until it came down to your image. Consider Eddie to be intrigued, he wanted to know what Ben had done for you to take such drastic measures, "For what it's worth... I think you're pretty damn hot, doesn't matter what weight you are." Your cheeks burned but you played it down, thinking that Eddie was just playing into his role of being your fake boyfriend.
Quickly, so as not to get too flustered, you grabbed your bag, taking out your notebook and pen before scribbling your address on it, "Pick me up around 8pm?" You gave the paper to Eddie before you grabbed your things and left, slightly flushed and with a thought of 'what the fuck did I just do?'.
Tumblr media
"Okay so ground rules," you said as you sat in Eddie's van. He'd picked you up fifteen minutes ago and now you were parked outside of Benny's old diner. You could hear the music muffled and pumping from inside, "Don't lay it on too thick but also don't lay it on too thin either. If anyone asks, we've been dating a little over a month, it's going great. You made the first move-"
"Woah, you've got this all planned out, don't you?" Eddie asked, corners of his mouth raising into a smirk, "Why don't you just take it easy and relax, Princess? It'll be fine... Stop worrying."
"I can't help it. I just worry all the damn time."
"What are you worried about?" He knew that all of this was fake and yet he found himself so intrigued to know more about you, about you and your pretty eyes.
You sighed, "In my head, this was a great idea... but now that we're here I'm just worried. Worried about Ben's reaction, what he'll say, how his friends will be." Eddie frowned as he asked you to explain further, "I... I'm worried what he'll say about me, about my weight..."
It all began to click into place for Eddie. You'd asked him earlier that day if he'd be okay seen with you because of your weight and now you were worried that Ben would mention it... It didn't take a genius to figure out what the issues in the relationship were. His frown only deepened as he watched you, watched as you fidgeted with your fingers nervously. You weren't just nervous to see your ex, you were nervous for him to see you.
"Is that why you two broke up?"
You nodded, "He kept making little jibes. At first it wasn't so bad but then it got pretty unhealthy. I wouldn't eat around him in fear of him commenting on how much I ate or what I should order, he kept telling me I had to lose weight that I was ugly, unlovable..." You shrug as tears burn in your eyes, "Worthless."
"What an asshole!" Eddie scoffed, shaking his head, "I'm sorry that the male species let us down once again." You laughed slightly at his comment but then he turned to you, eyes serious, "Seriously (y/n), you're fine the way you are. Just because you're a certain weight doesn't mean that you're any less beautiful or worth any less than someone smaller than you. He's just a fucking dick who never deserved you in the first place so we're gonna go in here and we're gonna make him regret ever even thinking those things about you."
You were touched by his words and it filled with you with some kind of confidence. You didn't know Eddie any more than surface level but you appreciated what he was saying to you, you liked that even though you didn't really know each other, he was still trying to make you feel better. It made you feel good knowing that someone was on your side. So with a nod of agreement to each other, the pair of you got out of Eddie's van ready to go into the party. Eddie walked round to you and stuck out his hand, "Ready, Princess?"
You gladly took his hand, "Ready."
Together, the two of you walked into Benny's old diner where the music blared and bodies danced. It was warm inside, too warm, sticky, sweaty heat and dancing, jumping bodies. Eddie tugged you over to where the drinks lay, two tables with tens and tens of half full bottles sat, "What do you want?" Eddie asked as he plucked a bottle of beer from the almost all melted ice bath they sat in. You replied with an 'anything' and Eddie plucked a second beer, biting the caps off before handing it to you.
"There you go, Princess," he said, winking at you as he wrapped an arm around your waist. You would've never let Ben sit his hand on your side where your fat rolls were in fear that he'd say something about them but with Eddie... you didn't seem to have those same worries. You barely knew Eddie but already you trusted that he would never put you in a situation like that. He clinked your beer bottles together, "Drink up." The two of you downed the first beer - a little liquid luck wouldn't go amiss, eh? - before you both ventured into the bouncing bodies of the horny, sweaty teenagers. It was then that you bumped into a couple of your friends who were well on their way to being wasted. They went to pull you into their crowd when they saw whose hand was clasped tightly in yours.
"Hi," Eddie grinned at them, eyes twinkling in amusement as their faces contorted into those of pure confusion, "I'm afraid she's mine tonight."
"No way!"
You actually hadn't thought about anyone else's reactions to seeing you and Eddie together. You'd been so preoccupied with getting Ben's attention that you totally disregarded your friends seeing the two of you together. As you stared at them, mouth unable to form words, you had no idea what to say but luckily it was your friend who filled in the silence.
"You two are dating? Oh my god, since when?!"
Eddie's grin only got wider, he was enjoying this charade, "Oh, a little over a month, right Princess?" He pulled you in close, pressing a soft kiss to your temple. You could feel your face burn at how close he was as you felt his breath tickling some stray hairs of yours. His lips were gentle and soft, so unlike what he portrayed himself to be, it felt nice, "We're super happy, can you tell? I'm surprised she hasn't told you about me but we were keeping it pretty down low."
One of your friends eyed Eddie up and down before shrugging, "I already like him more than Ben."
"Is it true you worship the devil?" Your other friend asked.
"Oh my god," you groaned, "Eds, you don't have to answer that."
Eds.
He paused, mouthing the word to himself, enjoying the way it sounded and the way it felt coming out of your mouth. He shook his head before leaning in and saying, "Join Hellfire Club and find out."
One of your friends frowned but the other just shrugged off his comment, "Whatever. Just don't fuck this," she waggled her finger at the two of you, "up. If you make her sad even just for a second, we'll destroy you."
Eddie nodded, "I like that... Did you do that to Ben too?" You glanced at him, surprised at how curious he was about you and your dating life. You'd half expected his 'fake boyfriend' experience to just be to hang about with you for an hour and then go get wasted, you never thought that he'd be here making conversation with your friends and making you feel better about yourself.
The girls smirked and looked to you. You rolled your eyes, "After the whole Ben situation, the two of them went round to Ben's and went to his beloved car... $200 worth of damage later..."
The curly haired boy gave out a yell of laughter and he clapped, "That is what I like to hear!" He high hived them both as he asked for more details.
"A baseball bat just fell out the sky and managed to smash all the windows," one of them said with a smirk and a shrug, "bizarre that."
You watched the three of them as they laughed and told him about Ben's face when he saw the car and you smiled. It felt nice, normal almost. When you and Ben had been dating, he'd tried to isolate you from your friends and you were too wrapped up in the attention and you'd not seen the red flags. Luckily, your friends had seen them and had managed to talk sense into you. Though that didn't mean you broke up, it just meant your friends were more involved than Ben would've liked them to have been. It was once he started berating your weight causing your self-confidence levels to plummet that your friends stepped in and told you that you had to get that asshole out of your life. Ben had never made an effort to get to know them, he didn't even know their names, but as you watched Eddie... it felt like how a relationship should be.
It's fake, (y/n). It's not real.
Eddie glanced over to you, hand sliding into yours, "It's been lovely chatting, ladies, but I'd quite like to dance with my girl."
My girl.
Your stomach exploded into butterflies as your friends nodded and told you to catch up with them later before Eddie pulled you to the middle of what had became the dancefloor and began to sway side to side, completely out of sync and out of time with the song that played, "C'mon, Princess, loosen up!" He grabbed your free hand, twirling you round causing you to throw your head back with laughter. You laughed loudly as you relaxed into his playful nature. Eddie was good at making people feel comfortable, he was silly and fun and he didn't mind making a fool of himself if it would make you laugh. People roundabout the two of you cleared a space as Eddie had kept accidentally crashing you into other people, "Your friends are really cool," Eddie told you loudly over the music, "I love how protective they are of you."
"Yeah," you smiled, "me too."
Music pounded as the two of you spun around the dancefloor, laughing and grinning at each other without a care in the world, "You're a terrible dancer, Eds!" You giggled. He was. He was awful; all limbs and no rhythm yet still looked kind of cool whilst doing it? You'd never understand it. Usually when you tried to dance you just looked like a frigid plank of wood but with Eddie, you could enjoy yourself instead of thinking about what other people would be saying. You could focus on having fun with the curly haired boy rather than think of how your skirt was tight across your stomach and everyone could clearly see the outline of your overhanging belly. Thoughts like that didn't really pop up when you were in the presence of Eddie Munson. He made you comfortable, made you realise that it didn't matter what anyone thought... you liked that.
He pulled you in close, hand on your hip with fingertips dancing on the places you always hated Ben touching yet with Eddie, you didn't seem to mind. All you could focus on right now was how bright his brown eyes were, aglow with joy, as he grinned down at you. When you'd first came to Eddie with this idea of being your fake boyfriend, he was initially a little confused but super intrigued, that's why he'd said yes. Well that and the fact he'd had his eye on you for a while; you and those pretty eyes of yours. He didn't think he'd be having this much fun with you honestly.
His other hand grabbed yours and he began to slow dance with you despite it being a rather fast paced ABBA song. He was grinning wide, ear to ear, and leaned in close, "I like when you call me that... Eds, I mean."
You don't know what came over you, maybe it was the beer going to your head since you weren't a big drinker anyway, or maybe it was the music and the lights, or maybe the fact you hadn't really been this close to anyone in a while, or maybe it was just that curly haired brown eyed boy that was doing it but your heart beat increased and you could feel butterflies swarm in your stomach. Eddie's eyes moved to your lips and you found yourself almost leaning in before you realised what was happening. You pulled back quickly, "Let's get another drink!"
Eddie wasn't fazed by you abruptly pulling back and instead gladly lead you back through the crowd to grab you another drink. This time you opted for some of the punch which obviously had been spiked many, many times. It was too strong and Eddie couldn't help but laugh at your face when you tasted it, "How do people drink this stuff?!" You groaned. He rolled his eyes playfully as he told you it probably wasn't that bad.
He plucked the solo cup from your hands, taking a sip of it before wincing, "Okay, shit, yeah, I get your point." He put the cup on the table before grabbing two more beers, "Let's just stick to beer, yeah? Safest bet because everything's gonna be that strong I think." He opened them and handed one to you. You took a long sip, pulling a face as you swallowed it, "Not a big drinker, are you?" Eddie smirked.
You shook your head, "Hate it. I don't like not being in control of myself and my actions. I'm clumsy enough without a drink in me."
Eddie's brow furrowed slightly, "You know you don't have to drink if you don't want to, don't let the fact that I'm drinking or the fact we're at a party make you feel obligated to drink. It's okay if you don't." He moved his hand outwards, offering to take your beer from him and you gladly gave him it.
You thanked him and Eddie grabbed your hand, leading you to the couch, before the two of you plopped down onto it, his arm wrapping around your shoulders, pulling you in close, "Your ex, he here?" He asked quietly as he took a long sip.
You scanned the crowds, "Not seen him yet but he'll be here... Thank you for that by the way, Ben always mocked me when I didn't want to drink, called me boring. Half the time I'd drink to get him off my back."
Eddie scoffed. The more he learned about Ben, the more he hated him, "Why'd you date that asshole anyway?"
You shrugged, "He wasn't always like that. He was an old friend's older brother and it didn't take long before we started dating. At first, things were great and then... then they weren't." You looked up at Eddie, "Guess I stuck around because I was hoping he'd go back to the way he once was." Eddie understood, he'd never been in anything like that himself but he knew how hard it was getting out of a toxic cycle and he knew how easy it was to see the good and ignore the bad. "Why'd you agree to do this for me?" You asked him after a moment.
"I'm a sucker when a pretty girl asks me to do something." He looked to you, brown eyes boring into yours and once again, you could feel those damn butterflies.
"You're just saying that." You brushed him off. Why would someone like Eddie Munson think you were pretty? He was only in this to annoy your ex, he wasn't doing this for you.
It's not real, (y/n).
Eddie frowned at you, "Who are you to say what I mean or not?" He asked, voice verging on serious, "I actually think you're really freaking pretty, fucking gorgeous more like. When you asked me, course I jumped at the chance... You looked at me with those pretty eyes and how could I say no?" Eddie saw the way your face softened, the way your eyes got glassy and my god, you looked so pretty. Those eyes. He'd do anything you asked if it meant you'd look at him with that sparkle in those fucking gorgeous eyes. He swallowed before tearing his eyes off of you to look out to the crowd, he wasn't used to that weird feeling in his stomach.
"No one's ever told me I have pretty eyes." The way your voice is soft and quiet makes Eddie's heart pang. He hates that you've not been treated right, that you've been made to feel worthless and ugly. His jaw clenched, muscle feathering, as he thought about it. You didn't deserve it, plain and simple.
He drained the last of his beer as you got lost in your thoughts, leaning against him. It felt natural. Despite not wanting to get your hopes up, the hope was burning strong in your stomach. Eddie had done more for you in less than a day than Ben had done in months of dating. You'd asked him to be your fake boyfriend but a large part of you was hoping that it wasn't all fake. It was a moment later when he cleared his throat and asked, "Ready for dancing round two?"
"Oh absolutely." You let Eddie pull you up and lead you back into the crowds. You liked the way his rings pressed against your fingers, cold melting soothing warm hands.
Again, Eddie began to ballroom dance with you in a very dramatic way, hands intertwined and arms stuck straight out as you paraded about the dance floor. Around you, people moved to give you space as others gave you dirty looks.
"What?!" Eddie beamed at them. He was used to their stares, used to the weird faces they pulled whenever he did something that stepped outside of the norm. He didn't care. Normal was overrated anyway, "Never thought about having a little fun before?!"
Your laughter was loud as the two of you danced about. You blamed the warmth that rushed to your cheeks every time he looked at you to be fault of the one beer you'd drank but even you knew deep down it wasn't that causing it. It was something else, more rather someone. Eddie spun you around but it was too fast and you hadn't been expecting it so you ended up crashing into something hard... or rather, someone.
Your laughter ceased as two firm hands planted themselves on your shoulders and steadied you, "I don't know what kind of game you're playing," a voice hissed to you, "but whatever it is, I suggest you stop."
Your blood ran cold and your heart began to pound as your head raised to look Ben Watters, your ex-boyfriend, dead in the eyes. This had been the plan, you'd wanted Ben to see you, you'd wanted to rub it in his face that you were lovable and that someone else could want you but now that you were here, now that he was here sneering down at you... you didn't want to do this anymore. It was like he had this ability to give you a look and make you feel as though were so completely insignificant to him. You'd been brave all night with Eddie but now that Ben was here, you wanted the ground to swallow you up. This was a terrible idea. You wanted to rush back to Eddie, have him take you home but you were frozen in place under Ben's glare.
Eddie, who'd been waiting for you to spin back, noticed that you were suddenly frozen in place and when he looked in front of you to the taller, angry looking boy he realised that this must be Ben judging by the glare he was giving you and judging by the way you completely froze in place. Eddie's grin fell. He didn't like the way you had completely shut down in front of him, that wasn't normal.
"Everything okay, Princess?" He asked as he took a few steps to approach you. His hand fell to the small of your back causing you to jump slightly in surprise.
Ben's jaw feathered as he clenched his teeth together, "You think I really buy this shit?" He scoffed. He never once looked to Eddie. His eyes were trained on you, he knew that he still had a form of control over you so of course he was going to try and manipulate his way out of this, "You and Eddie 'the Freak' Munson? What's the game plan here, babe?"
"Don't call me that!" Your voice was a shrill snap which surprised all three of you and caused some of the people in the crowds around you to look over.
Ben rolled his eyes, "You always loved when I called you babe, babe-"
"Dude," Eddie half stepped in front of you so that he was covering half of you with his body. He could tell immediately that this guy was bad vibes, he was just bad news, "she asked you to stop. I'm not gonna ask twice."
It was then that Ben's eyes finally moved from yours to glare at Eddie. Eddie didn't flinch, "Who do you think you are, freak? Why do you even care?"
"Cause I'm her boyfriend, you asswipe."
Ben laughed, humourless and loud, "Boyfriend?" He looked back to you, "Is this you trying to prove a point about what I said when we broke up?" Around you more people had started to gather taking notice of the fight that was brewing in the middle of Benny's old diner, "You're trying to prove what I said wrong." He could see through it so easily and you wished that you didn't bother with any of this but Eddie was on your side and Eddie wasn't going to back down.
"Yeah?" Eddie asked, glancing back at you, "And what did you say then?"
Ben leaned in attempting to get in your face but Eddie partially blocked him. Eddie's hand instinctively shot outwards, acting as a barrier between you and Ben and you immediately clung to him, fingernails digging into his denim jacket. This wasn't how you'd wanted the night to go. You'd wanted Ben to see that you'd proved him wrong and then you'd wanted him to fuck off... but you knew him better and you should've known that he wouldn't have been happy leaving things the way that they were. He had to get in there, had to put his five cents in, had to get the last word, had to intimidate and scare you into submission... but Eddie was here.
"I said that you were too fat and too unlovable to get another boyfriend. No one would ever do what I did for you."
You could hear your heart pounding in your ears, hard and fast, and you could feel your eyes welling with tears. It's then you realised just how many people were surrounding the two of you, watching with curious hazy eyes. Your grip was tight on Eddie's arm and you gave it a gentle tug as if to say 'let's go, let's go home'. Eddie blinked. Was this guy for real?
"I see you've still not taken any of the advice I gave you either," Ben continued, "I see you've not lost any of the weight... maybe even put on some more judging by how tight that skirt is."
You don't know what came over you, maybe it was the confidence that Eddie had instilled in you throughout the night, maybe it was the fight or flight adrenaline, maybe it was the fact you didn't want to cry in front of hundreds of teenagers but instead of just taking it, instead of just letting him treat you like shit, you puffed out your chest and as he was laughing to his friends, you said loudly, "What are you talking about, Ben? I dropped 160 pounds when I dumped your ass."
Eddie's jaw dropped. Ben choked on his laughter. There was a chorus of 'oooooh damn'.
And you felt pretty damn proud with yourself.
That was until Ben turned towards you slowly, "What'd you say to me?" All the confidence you'd had moments before vanished, completely vanished off of the face of the earth. He reminded of you the time you'd accidently smashed a window and your dad towered over you, glaring and breathing hard. He made you feel small the same way that Ben did. Ben's nostrils flared but before he could do or say anything, Eddie pulled back, hand clenched into a fist, before-
THWACK!
You gasped.
"Fucking Ozzy!" Eddie cursed as he shook out his hand which radiated pain.
He'd punched Ben square in the jaw effectively throwing Ben backwards into his friends as blood dribbled from his now burst lip, "What the fuck, man?!" Ben yelled, shoving his friends off of him before squaring back up to Eddie.
Eddie never backed down, never once did he flinch or give any signs of weakness. He knew exactly how to annoy jerks like Ben, knew how to rile them up and knew how to get them all hot and bothered. Eddie grinned, "One day you're going to realise that (y/n) was the best damn thing that ever happened to you and when that day comes, I hope you hate yourself." He leaned back on his feet rocking as Ben stood, blood trickling down his chin, "You're gonna stay the hell away from (y/n). You see her walking down the halls, you're gonna turn and go the other way. You're never going to speak to her, look at her or even think about her ever again."
"Oh yeah? Says who, Munson?"
Eddie laughed, "I do, Watters." He leaned in close, "She told me what you're into... How do you think the rest of the school would react if they knew?" He quirked an eyebrow and pulled back relishing in the way Ben's eyes widened.
Ben's face dropped and his eyes darted between you and Eddie, a look of fear prominent in them, "You-You told him?"
Going along with it, you shrugged and smiled at him, "Oops... Sorry."
Eddie's hand found yours, clasping it tightly, "Stay the fuck away from us, Benny Boy." He clapped Ben on the shoulder before he turned and pulled you back through the crowds. It was only when you were being tugged away from him that you breathed a sigh of relief, nerves in your stomach fading.
As you were on your way out, a blur of faces merging into one, your friend caught your arm, "I love him!" She hissed to you, pointing at Eddie, before she let go and let Eddie lead you out of Benny's diner. The cold air hit you hard, breathing life into you, as you and ran with Eddie to his van hands still clasped tightly together.
It wasn't until you got into his van that the two of you burst out laughing. It was ridiculous, the whole thing, and you couldn't believe any of that had actually just happened. It took you a few minutes to calm down.
"Holy shit!"
Eddie laughed, eyes once again shining with joy, "You can say that again... I can't believe you said that to him. What was it again?"
"I dropped 160 pounds when I dumped his ass." You were quite proud of that line to be fair. Usually you were the sort of person to think of a comeback two days too late so you were quite impressed with your quick wit. It was then the whole reality hit you and the laughter completely faded, "I... I was terrified. I thought he was going to hit me or hurt me or something."
"Well, he didn't," Eddie's hand fell to your knee giving a light squeeze, "and I don't think he'll bother you again."
"How did you know that he has a kinda weird kink?" You asked him with a hint of a smile.
Eddie shrugged, "Most guys like that do. Act all big and tough but they usually have some sort of dirty secret. Guessed."
It was then you looked down at Eddie's hand which was still on your knee, "Oh, shit, Eds! Your hand!" His knuckles were red with a slight purple tinge, they'd be bruised up pretty bad in the morning.
He stretched his fingers out, wiggling them, "Ach, they're fine."
"Lemme check." You picked up his hand, flat against your palm as you checked it over, fingers dancing over his, dancing over his rings, "Good thing you weren't wearing bigger rings, could've seriously done some damage." Eddie licked his lips, watching as you inspected his hand, turning it every way to make sure there was no real lasting damage. He liked how careful you were with him, soft touches and real questions of care. Does that hurt? Can you bend it? We'll need to ice it. He cleared his throat and your cheeks immediately burned as you realised you'd been holding his hand for over a minute now. Quickly, you dropped it, "Sorry."
He shook his head, "Are you okay?" He asked, ducking his head to catch your eyes, "The stuff he said in there was pretty fucked..."
You shrugged and gave a sardonic laugh, "With Ben... I'm used to that kinda stuff as sad as that is."
Eddie frowned, "The stuff he said isn't true you know. You're not unlovable or anything like that."
"Though he was right that I have put on weight," you looked down at your outfit, seeing the denim skirt that you wore bulging, "is it really that noticeable?"
"Who cares if it is?" Eddie asked, voice verging on annoyed, "Stop letting one asshole's opinion stop you from seeing how fucking stunning you actually are, (y/n)." Eddie groaned, running a hand through his hair, "Your body, your size it doesn't matter. You're fucking gorgeous with your pretty eyes and lovely smile. You radiate goodness and joy and being around you is like being high just without the actual drugs. You're- I've only really spoken to you for today and already, I can see how much of an amazing person you really are, (y/n). You deserve so much more than that, than him. You deserve someone who would treat you right, treat you like the princess you are, treat you like you should be treated." Eddie's heart was beating fast as he paused and took a breath. His fingers fidgeted with the rings that adorned them, "Someone like me."
You frowned, head slowly turning to meet his gaze, eyes full of awe before you realised that technically Eddie was still your fake boyfriend. You shook your head, "You can drop the fake boyfriend act, it's okay. It was a fucking stupid idea-"
"(y/n)," his voice was loud but he wasn't shouting. His hand moved to yours, holding it gently as he rubbed his thumb over your knuckles, "It's not an act. I mean everything I've said to you over the last day."
You shook your head, "I-I don't understand, Eds."
Eddie smiled slightly, "I'm suggesting the possibility of me not being your fake boyfriend anymore. It's obviously pretty quick to put a label on it immediately but I'm saying that I want to try this out, I'd like to take you out on some dates, try and win you over."
"Wait, wait, wait-" you shook your head as you tried to process everything that Eddie was saying, "you're saying that you want to date me and potentially be my real boyfriend?"
"Is that so hard to understand, Princess?" He laughed, "I like you, what can I say. Give me a chance to prove that you are worthy and deserving of love." You couldn't quite believe what he was saying. Eddie Munson wanted to date you? You opened your mouth but no sound came out. Eddie raised his eyebrows, "Huh, you really weren't expecting that were you? What do you say?"
A rather large, goofy grin tugged your lips upwards as a giggle escaped your lips, "I'd say thank god since I've wanted to kiss you all bloody day, Munson."
Eddie grinned, rather proud of your admission, "Yeah?" He asked. You nodded and began to shift your position so that you were angled towards him, "Oh, no way, no kissing until out first date." He teased with a wink.
You rolled your eyes, "Shut up and kiss me, Eds."
"Yes, ma'am." He nodded before his hands cupped your cheeks, rings cold against your flushed cheeks, before he leaned in painfully slowly. He was enjoying making you wait. You huffed before grabbing a handful of his Hellfire Club shirt and pulling him to you, crashing your lips together.
Yeah, you thought as he deepened the kiss, this is what it's supposed to feel like.
The kiss wasn't like an awkward first kiss like they usually are. The two of you seemed to meld together, already in sync from the get go, in perfect pace and rhythm with the other, tongues swirling and hands caressing the other's cheeks.
It was all too quick when you pulled back, nodding quickly, "I quite like the idea of you being my real boyfriend, yeah. I'm down, oh god Eds, I'm so down."
Eddie's laugh was loud, "Fake boyfriends never stay fake for long, eh?" He joked before pulling you in for another kiss.

In The Stars - Eddie Munson x F!Reader
warnings: grief, heartbreak, ST S4 spoilers, if you need a good cry; this is for you
word count: 742
Tumblr media
I'm still holdin' on to everything that's dead and gone I don't wanna say goodbye, 'cause this one means forever Now you're in the stars and six feet's never felt so far Here I am alone between the heavens and the embers
You stood staring into your home, still wearing the black dress you were forced to put on, clutching a torn Metallica shirt in your hands. It was eerily quiet and somehow the house seemed bigger than you remember. Eddie would have hated this. All the fuss on his behalf. Wayne said it was healthy to say goodbye, but it wasn’t him you were saying goodbye to. It was a dark wooden box, with a band t-shirt inside. You refused to let them bury his leather jacket and guitar, and Steve wasn’t letting go of his signature denim vest.
With a deep breath, you took a step inside the house you once shared with him for the first time since that night. Gently, you placed your hand on the doorframe that led to the living. You looked into the vacant space and heard his infectious laugh echo through your ears. It was here that Eddie had told you he loved you for the first time. It was during one of your dramatic retellings of The Hobbit, you were in the middle of a line and through his laughter he just said it.
“... I have no time to blow smoke rings this morning!” You gruffed in your best Gandalf voice. “I am looking for someone to share in an adventure that I am arranging”
Eddie’s laugh boomed through the living room, “God I love you” He said like it was nothing, wrapping his arms around you and swinging you in a circle.
A tear escaped your eye, as you kept moving through the house. Running your fingertips along the back of the sofa, remember how he would sit there for hours on end, just playing his guitar and singing to himself quietly. Or loudly, depending on his mood. That was always your favourite. Coming home and hearing his deep sultry voice singing one of your favourite songs as he learned it just for you.
You planted both hands on the kitchen counter, hearing his voice drift through the empty hallways. The faint smell of burning from that time he tried to cook you dinner wafted into your nose like a memory stuck in the grain of your wood flooring. The vision of him drifted past you, as he apologized over and over again for ruining date night. The feeling of his lips still lingered on your skin, as he peppered your face with kisses and promised to make it up to you. You never minded though, he was so sweet, always trying to find ways to impress you. Not that he needed to. You loved him anyway. You always would.
With a deep sigh, you moved back through the hallway, gripping the old t-shirt tighter as you pushed yourself up the stairs. Ghosts flashed before your eyes of Eddie pulling you down the hallway with that wicked smirk plastered on his lips. That time he pressed you against the wall because he just couldn’t wait to get his hands on you.
As you walked through the visions, they disappeared around you, the numbness you had felt all day finally fading and the pain in your chest becoming more apparent. You never blamed him for anything. He did what he thought was right, and what was needed in that moment. But knowing that didn’t make it hurt any less.
You made it into your bedroom and tore off that stupid black dress, leaving it in a puddle on the floor. With shaking hands, you pulled the old shirt over your head and hugged your arms around yourself,  tightly gripping the fabric, as a loud sob escaped your lips. Collapsing onto your bed, you pulled Eddie’s pillow tightly into your body and finally let yourself go. Allowing the pain and hurt and sadness to take over.
The past few days, you had tried to stay strong. For Dustin, mostly, but Steve too. Steve was being strong for everyone else, you needed to be strong for him. He was doing all he could to help you, but this wasn’t something he could just take away.
Tonight though, tonight you needed this. To let yourself feel the weight of Eddie missing in your arms. In your life. Feeling the hurt of that Eddie sized hole in your heart and soul.
He was gone. He left you. And no matter how much of a hero he was to you and how proud he made you every day. It still hurt.

In pure bliss
Pairings: Eddie Munson x fem!Reader
Warnings: ST 4 kind of spoilers? This is pure fluff with a little bit of hurt, mentions of nightmare. Eddie is happy, safe and sound.

" Does it still hurt? " Her voice just above a whisper. Delicate fingers touched the hem of Eddie's shirt, close to almost graze the patched up wound on his stomach.
Eddie stroked her hands along her thighs that were placed on either side of his, head falling back to rest against the back of the couch. He smiled up at her, head tilting to the side to admire every single part of her beautiful face.
" Like I said before, not when I have you here. Don't worry your heart out pretty girl. I'm more than okay here with you. "
She bit her bottom lip and smiled back. Her hair was still messy, loose strands of hair had fallen out from her bun from their exploration of each other's bodies. Eddie had taken his sweet time to touch every part of her naked body as he'd hovered over her on the couch not too long ago, placing wet kisses all the way from her ears to down to her heat below. He hadn't stopped to give her sweetness love until her moans of his name had turned into heavy breathing and sighs, swallowing her breaths with kisses as she came down from her heights.
He didn't cared how much it hurt every single day while trying to find a way back to the normal life above, every little step seemed to hurt even more than the other, to even give his girl love, but he didn't wanted to admit that to make her worry about him. She had done that enough as he fought to not make the darkness win and claim his as its belonging.
At least he was safe and sound, thanks to his friend that never gave up on trying to find him, he owed them everything. He was never lost. Not even before he met them.
He just needed to wait for the right time when life would reward him with the greatest people of his life, his friends, lover, some he considered even as his own kids...yeah, his heroes had many names.
And one of them was seated right on his lap, fingers playing with his brown locks. " You sure? " She had a pitiful look in her eyes.
He sighed and cupped her face in his hands. " Yes I am. "
" And what about the nightmares? " She winced, knowing he had a hard time sometimes to open up about them.
Except with her and under those nights when he woke up from one, sweat dripping from his body as he fumbled to touch the comfort of a body that was his other half. Every single touch from her soothed him as she held him in her arms, fingers drawing eights against his back as her voice felt like a blanket around his rapidly beating heart. She didn't stopped until the tears stopped to spill, not until he lifted his eyes with a soft smile, whispering thank you. It made him forget about the nightmares for a moment. When he tried to scream away the pain from the sharp teeth that didn't intend to stop ripping off every bit of his flesh until they'd reached his bones. Or when every step in the dark world was filled with dread, feeling it would be the last time he walked side by side with his newly found friends.
" It's okay Eddie, nothing is going to hurt you anymore, I won't let that happen, we got you. "
Her voice of the words she comforted him with each night still lingered in his mind. The softness in her tone made his heart flutter. He'd never loved one before like he did with his girl. She was something special, someone he wanted to spend his entire life with. It was all settled for him. Nothing would let her slip away through his hands like sand.
They were meant for eachother. He'd found his soulmate at last.
He took a deep breath and pushed the shivers aside, caused by the never ending dreading though  " It's getting better, slowly. " He placed two fingers under her chin and inched her closer to connect their lips, assuring her with a soft kiss.
She took his hand in hers, plump lips kissing his knuckles as she looked at him in pure admiration. " I love you Eddie Munson. "
He wiggled his brows with a boyish grin. " I know. "
She rolled eyes and chuckled, flicking his nose gently. " Stop that! I was trying to be sentimental here. "
" Ouch! "
He rubbed his nose before giving her a playful look that she knew damn well off. Her eyes went wide open and he took all of his strength and ignored the pain that shot through his body as he stood up with her still tangled around his body, her legs gripping around his waist
" Eddie don't, you're going to hurt you-"
He winked and pulled down her arms around his neck to push her down so far her hair almost touched the floor, she clutched onto his hands for her dear life, screaming and giggling as he started to spin them around in circles. Fuck it hurt him so much. His knees turned weaker and it felt like he would collapse onto the floor but he bit back it all. The pain wouldn't win when Eddie had won everything in life already. He was so fucking happy, he had everything he'd ever wished for.
" Ed stop! I'm going to vomit all over the place! " She laughed so hard her whole face turned red.
He was out of breath by the time he finally stopped, lifting her up by her hands so she could place them around his neck again. She drew out a long breath while shaking her head. Her hair had almost fallen out from the bun completely.
" You're crazy, you know that? "
He smiled like crazy. With her, he fell in love all over again every second they'd spent time together. " I know, but you love me for that, aren't you sweetie? Cuz I know I love you for that. " He nudged her nose with hers, her warm and kind eyes boring into his. " Call me crazy for loving the girl of my love, my star, I love you so damn much. "
She pushed back some hair around his face, eyes glistening with the coated layer of tears. " Forever? "
" Always. " He said before their lips collided, the night was still young, giving him plenty of time to love his girl over and over again, show and tell him in every possible way.
Just like the days ahead.

Hello 💌 it's missing Eddie Munson hours here. Can I request a fic where the reader is the new girl in town? New to Hawkins high and accidentally sits at the hellfire table (cause obviously she doesn't know it's reserved 🤭) and gets all flustered once eddie and the members come up and tell her. All cute and fluffy ☺️

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
You clutched at your tray nervously, looking around the cafeteria in search of some place to sit. Everyone had paired off as soon as the bell for lunch had rang and you were basically left in the dust. Most of the tables were crowded, and no one was even sparing a look in your direction. Tears pricked at the back of your eyes and threatened to well up, but you swallowed them down and started to look for an open spot.
After a few moments of trying to make yourself look small you found a few open spots at one of the tables towards the back. With the most miniscule of sighs to yourself you took the seat at the end, and hunched in on yourself, trying to make yourself as invisible as possible. Upon settling in, you reached into your backpack and pulled out the book you were currently reading and dove in.
It was enough to suck you and before you knew it, you were lost and off in your own little world. But then, you heard a loud throat clear among curious little titters. You startled and snapped your book shut, looking up to find several pairs of wide eyes studying you intently.
Your mouth opened and closed a few times as you tried to figure out what was going on, “ummm…hello?”
“What are you doing here?” it came out as more curious and probing rather than angry but it caused your heart to thump wildly nonetheless. He looked young and had dark, floppy hair and gangly limbs.
“I-I couldn’t find anywhere else to sit,” you admitted sheepishly, “and no one was here so I thought it was okay. I’m so sorry-”
“Wait, you’re the new girl, aren’t you?” you turned to the boy with the dark curls under a hat; they all seemed kind but nonetheless it all made you nervous.
“Yes,” you offered them a tight-lipped smile “I’m sorry, it’s just…I’ll go so you can have your table back.”
Standing up, you tried to grab your backpack and throw it over your shoulder in order to leave and run as far away as possible. Mortifying wasn’t enough to cover how you were currently feeling. Before you could get very far, you felt a hand wrap around your wrist and stop you from getting away.
“Stay,” the voice was different from any of the others you'd heard so far, honey sweet and warm. You stopped dead in your tracks and turned around to find another stranger looking at you curiously.
"Uhh…" you were dumbfounded as you looked at the handsome boy standing in front of you. He had dark, wild curls and big brown eyes with a soft smile tugging up the corners. You looked down to where he was still looking onto you and noticed several tattoos peeking out of his shirt, "umm…"
"You're new here, right?" He asked as you nodded dumbly. You were shocked that you hadn't noticed him before - he was so different and unique that he stuck out like a sore thumb, "shit sucks. But seriously, c'mon and sit with us."
"Are you sure?" You allowed yourself to look at the boys; they looked just as shocked as you, "I don't want to intrude."
"I insist," he gave your arm a squeeze before letting go and motioning for you to sit back down. One of the boys gasped lightly as you slowly sank down in the hard plastic shirt. The boy sat down to your right, "hope you don't mind hanging out with the freaks and geeks."
"N-no," you relaxed slightly as everyone sat around as well, "not at all."
"I'm Eddie. Eddie Munson," he held his hand and you shook it, offering your name in response. Your entire face felt like it was on fire as you forced yourself to look away, "welcome to the gang!"
Alright, maybe not everyone in Hawkins was terrible.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
After that first afternoon where you met Eddie and his friends, you started to feel more and more comfortable in your school and within yourself. You noticed that Dustin, Mike, and Lucas had seemed floored by how easily Eddie took to you. You didn’t think anything of it, as you had no prior knowledge of any of them to go off of. Nonetheless you appreciated all the kindness that was being thrown your way.
The next day, however, you weren’t sure if you should just automatically go to their table or wait for further invitation. You’d brought your lunch, brown paper bag crinkled from your anxious twisting, and slowly walked to the table at the back. It hadn’t been lost on you that many people seemed to avoid their table, and a few that did walk back made some nasty comments under their breath. It hurt your heart a little bit because these were the only people that bothered to show you any kindness.
“Hey,” Eddie’s voice pulled you from your thoughts and you looked at him with a nervous little smile. He cocked his head to the side to the chair on his right, watching as you slipped into the hard plastic, “surprised to see you here again.”
“O-oh,” your cheeks warmed under his warm gaze and you wished you could sink into the ground and melt away, “should I not be here?”
“No, no, no, I just meant…I’m surprised you’re back,” he gestured vaguely to the rest of the cafeteria and you almost squeaked when you noticed the rings on his hand. They suited him perfectly, “we’re not exactly the most popular crowd around here.”
“In case you haven’t noticed, I’m not exactly too popular either,” you shrugged, catching his eye and exchanging a nervous chuckle, “I think you’re the first person to give me the time of day. No one else has even said anything…they all just kind of stare. I feel like a thing more than anything.”
“The people around here…are the worst,” he put his elbow on the table and rested his chin in his hand as he studied you intently, “tell me about you.”
“I don’t think there’s much to tell,” you shrugged sheepishly, popping a few crackers into your mouth in order to have an excuse to remain quiet.
“Everyone’s got a story,” you felt him nudge your knee with his under the table, “what’s yours? I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours.”
And that was an offer you couldn’t refuse.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Over the next couple of weeks, you found yourself growing closer to the gang, but more than anything their enigmatic leader.
It hadn't taken long to figure out the hierarchy of Hawkins High School, and it was easy to figure out that you were on the bottom of the totem pole. Compared to the other kids, seeing how they were and interacted with one another, you had no clue being part of the outcasts. They were the only ones that seemed real and genuine.
The worst part of it, or the best depending on how you looked at the situation, was Eddie. You were drawn to him, wanting to know more and more about him, which felt dangerous. You already knew that you'd both be graduating in the spring and then leaving, and that he was on 3rd attempt at his senior year. Those two things in and of itself were more than to make you weary.
The rest of it - Eddie - was wonderful and had you feeling a type of way that wasn't possible. You liked his style, his hair, his personality - all of it. The issue was that you had no clue what he thought about you, or how he felt about you, if anything. Maybe he didn't even think about you at all, besides the hour and change he spent with you at lunch and breaks. That idea didn't settle well in your stomach, even though it had no right to. Eddie was just-
"Everything alright?" You almost slammed your locker shut as you startled at the sound of Eddie's voice. You sighed dramatically before turning around and finding him leaning lazily against another locker. He turned to you and offering you a devilish little smile that caused you to roll your eyes, affectionately of course, “what’s wrong, sunshine?”
“Edward,” you drawled out his name and he groaned at the use of his full name, “you can’t go sneaking up on people like that! I could have had a heart attack!”
“So dramatic,” he tutted, reaching over and tucking your hair behind your ear, “if you weren’t so busy daydreaming, you would have heard me calling out your name. What’s going on in that pretty little head of yours?”
“Nothing,” you blurted out way too quickly, and you swore he gave you a knowing little look, “just…stuff and things.”
“Stuff and things,” he echoed in an amused tone as you nodded, your face warming up. Despite the fact that students were all around you, loud and noisy, it suddenly felt like it was only the two of you. He had a way of doing that, you’d learned, making you feel like you were the only thing that existed when he was with you, “very descriptive.”
“I…umm, nothing in particular,” you weren’t about to admit that you’d been daydreaming about him to his face. Not voluntarily anyway.
“Well, I was wondering if you were free tonight,” your eyes widened in surprise at his question. He laughed - nervously - and ran a hand through his dark curls. It really was such an innocent question, you were absolutely friends by this point, but it felt like it held much more weight.
“Did you need help with homework or Hellfire or…something?” there had to be a logical explanation to all of this. Surely….right? Right?
“No,” wrong. Very wrong.
“Oh…what is it then?” you squeaked at him and he grimaced for a moment. He was definitely nervous.
“I was wondering if you wanted to go see a movie and made get pizza or something after?” he was biting the inside of his cheek, finding the dirty laces of his Reeboks so interesting suddenly. Eddie Munson didn’t do dates; he didn’t get asked on them and he didn’t ask anyone else. Usually it was only girls that he dealed to that wanted to hook up, but those were quick, illicit affairs never to be spoken of again. But with you…everything had felt different right from the start.
When you remained silent for a few moments, he started to panic but then you opened and closed your mouth a few times, “j-just the two of us?”
“Yeah.”
“Like a…date?”
“Yes?” he allowed himself to steal a peek at your face and when he saw nothing but exuberant joy on your face he relaxed, “yes.”
You gnawed on your bottom lip for a moment before slowly nodding in response, your entire face felt like it was on fire, “no one’s ever asked me on a date before.”
“What?!” he turned to you now fully, pure shock and confusion on his face, “you’re not serious!”
“Eddie,” you were laughing now, a beautiful sound that went straight to his heart and often was the soundtrack of his own daydreams, “I’m being serious! No one’s even really looked at me that way.”
“Well, everyone has been so very wrong,” emboldened, he put his hand on your face and gently brushed his thumb over your cheek, “and in a way I’m glad for that because it meant I got to be the first to do it.”
“Hmm,” you hummed softly before gently wrapping your fingers around his wrist, “and to answer your question, yes, I am free. For you, I’m always free.”
“Wow,” you weren’t sure if he was talking to himself or to you, but it was endearing either way, “great - perfect. Umm, can I pick you up at seven?”
“I’ll see you at seven,” you confirmed softly, heart beating so wildly in your chest that you marveled at the fact that it wasn’t bursting through your ribcage, “don’t be late, Edward.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it, sunshine,” he grinned in response, “see you at seven!”
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
You were ready to go well before seven, and ended up nervously pacing around your bedroom. A slew of clothing was on your bed, as you had undergone several outfit changes before finally settling on a simple pink checkered sundress and sandals. You checked over your hair and makeup so many times you were starting to get sick of your own appearance.
Every time you heard a car driving through the neighborhood, you pulled back the curtain to see if it was Eddie. Which was silly, considering you’d been in his van and knew what it sounded like. But still…the nerves were getting to you.
By the time he actually pulled into your driveway, you had started reading a new book in order to occupy your mind. You’d gotten so lost in it that it took your mother knocking at your door to tell you that your little boyfriend was here. All you managed to do was groan in response as you threw your book to the side and grabbed your bag before running downstairs. Your parents had met Eddie a couple of times already, when he’d come to pick you up for school or drop you off, and surprisingly, they didn’t hate him. They liked him, knowing that the fact that he looked and dressed differently had no bearing on the type of person he was. And Eddie was a good guy, despite what a lot of Hawkins seemed to think.
Once you got downstairs, you found Eddie near the door, standing there nervously with a small bundle of floors in his hand. He looked up as soon as he heard you softly calling his name; his brain practically melted at the sight of you. You were always pretty - the prettiest in his kind - but this was just another level up from that.
“H-hi,” he stammered, holding up his hand in a meek little wave before remembering he had the flowers. You took a few steps closer to him, leaving just a little bit of distance between your bodies, “you look lovely.”
“Thank you,” the two of you exchanged shy smiles, “you look good too, Eddie.”
“Thanks,” his stomach fluttered with butterflies; no one had ever said that to him before, “these are for you.”
“You didn’t have to…they’re so pretty!” you gently took the flowers from him, but before you could stop yourself you pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. You stopped when you noticed the pink, glittery gloss print you left, but the two of you giggled as you wiped it away, “want to know something else, Eddie?”
“Tell me,” he trailed after you like a lovesick puppy as you walked to the kitchen to grab a vase for your flowers. He watched your every move like a hawk, noticing how you did everything with gentle reverence; it was the same way you always treated him.
“No one has ever given me flowers before either,” you set them on the counter, admiring how pretty they were, knowing they were from Eddie made them that much better, “you keep surprising me without even knowing what you’re doing.”
“I like surprising you,” he admitted softly, and you vowed in your head then and there that you were doing the same thing for him, “I like seeing that smile on your face.”
“Stop,” you gasped lightly before trying to hide your face in your hands, feeling yourself grow warmer and warmer with each passing moment. He shook his head and gently pulled your hands away so he could look at you, “Eddie!”
“I mean it,” he insisted softly, and you knew that he was being honest. You nodded softly and felt him reach for your hand, “c’mon, I have…well another surprise for you.”
“Another?!”
“Well, either we could go see the movie and then get dinner as planned…or we can go on adventure,” he suggested and you practically lit up, “I figured since it’s Friday and if you’re okay with being out a little late, it could be a lot of fun.”
“And let me guess, I would not be privy to any of these things we’re doing until we’re doing them?” your voice was soft and teasing but Eddie nodded eagerly. How very classic of him, “well, just how am I supposed to say no to that?”
“You don’t….”
“I don’t,” you agreed and Eddie cheered happily, already gently pulling you towards the door. He looked like an eager puppy more than anything and his enthusiasm was infectious.
“Get ready for an evening of excitement, m’lady!” he opened the door and brandished his arm, and all you could was to grin at him. He was such a dork but, you were starting to quickly realize, he was your dork, “you are about to embark on adventure!”
“I couldn’t think of anything better,” and your words made his heart melt, “c’mon m’lord, let’s go!”
At the foot of your steps he paused for a moment to look at you. You grew nervous, but as soon as he leaned in to gently kiss you, everything felt right. You kissed him back before he could pull away and you were both grinning like fools.
You’d never been more glad for sitting in the wrong spot before.

Pay Attention To Me
eddie munson x reader
warnings: minors dni, smut, p in v, c*ck warming, unprotected sex, creampie
a/n: I got baked out of my mind and this was born, if I had to write it you have to read it. enjoy babes xx
Tumblr media
It starts out innocent, the want of being close to Eddie burning deep inside you. You’d pull up a chair and sit beside him at his desk, foot hooking with his under the table.
Then you scooted closer, head laying on his shoulder while he slaved over his campaign. You would let out soft hums in hopes he would pay at least a little bit of attention to you. He doesn’t.
“Honey,” you whine, nuzzling into the mess of curls gathered at his shoulder.
“Busy, baby,” he responds, eyes never leaving the pages of the notebook in front of him.
“Want you though,” you whimper, getting up from your spot and snaking your hand over his chest. He sighs at your words, pencil getting thrown to the wayside as he turns in his chair, spreading his legs and looking up at you with the look he always has when he’s irritated.
“Don’t care, I’m busy darling,” his legs are still spread, dark eyes boring into yours as you sway back and forth.
“Can I jus’ suck you off?” you bat your eyelashes at him, silently begging him for something, anything.
He rolls his eyes, popping the button of his jeans and pulling them down along with his boxers. His cock is half hard, Eddie giving it a few tugs as you walk towards him. You’re about to sink to your knees but Eddie stops you.
“Uh uh- sit,” he says as he motions towards his cock.
You quirk your eyebrows, confused as he directs you.
“I said- Sit,” he spits in the palm of his hand, stroking his cock as you hover over him. He guides the tip to your hole, you finally sinking down once he pushes in.
It burns so good, the ache of accommodating him causing the coil in your belly to tighten. You begin to bounce but Eddie's grip on your hip is harsh and tight.
“Didn’t say you could ride me,” he bites as he turns back towards his campaign, picking up his pen and getting back to work as if he isn't balls deep inside of you right now.
“E-eds please,” you finally whine after 5 minutes of what felt like agonizing torture. Eddie’s cock was so perfect inside you, it rubbed at the right spot deducing you to a squirmy needy mess.
“If you keep still, I’ll fuck you into the matress, yeah? Be a good girl and I’ll take such good care of you,” he whispers in your ear, placing a soft kiss below your ear as he continues the task at hand.
5 more minutes pass, Eddie finally closing his notebook and guiding his hand to your hip.
“Want to ride me? Or do you want me to take care of you?”
You merely nuzzle into his neck, silently giving him your answer. He chuckles and hoists you off of his cock, leading you to the bed.
He pulls you to the edge, lifting your legs up and pushing them against your body before he thrusts back inside.
“Fuck- so impatient aren’t you?”
You nod dumbly, boobs bouncing as he punches into you with each thrust.
“Made yourself a mess on my cock while I was just trying to plan a campaign?”
“M’ sorry honey, just needed you,” He thrusts, picking up pace, balls slapping against your ass.
“Yeah, so needy you just had to sit on my cock, huh?” you're a mess underneath him, writhing and moaning as he drills into you.
“Fuck- you feel so good angel. Pretty sure If I die and go to heaven, I’d just end up between your legs,”
“Eddie- Eds- fuck m’ so close,” he pulls out at your words, flipping you over in order to fuck you from behind. Your hand snakes to your clit, rubbing at it as he thrusts into you deeply.
“Come for me, honey. Come on my cock, I’ll come inside, give you whatcha want,” he pins your hands behind your back, setting a rough pace.
“F-fuck E-ed,” Eddie released your hands, knuckles turning white as you grip the sheets and ride through your orgasm, you feel Eddie pick up his brutal pace, his thrusts becoming erratic as your orgasm continues.
“Gonna fill you up now m’kay?” you nod, cheek pressed into the pillow as you let out soft whimpers at his relentless pace.
His hips stutter and finally he’s coming. It’s so much, dripping out of you and down his balls. He pulls out once he has emptied himself inside of you.
It drips out at a steady pace, his sheets being painted by his come mixed with yours.
You collapse down onto the bed, turning onto your side in order to let Eddie settle in beside you. He gathers you closely, pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
He gets up from his place on the bed after a few minutes, returning with a warm cloth. He spreads your legs audibly moaning at the sight of your pussy painted with the evidence of him.
He wipes you up, being as gentle as he can. You suck in a breath through your teeth when the rough cloth drags over your clit.
“M sorry honey, almost done, kay?”
He pressed a kiss above your clit, causing you to giggle.
“Love you,"

Under pressure
For @subeddieweek Day 1 | M | 1177 | accidental subspace, non-verbal communication, sleepover, Steve-instinctive-Dom-Harrington | Ao3
Tumblr media
Eddie avoided fights because he was a coward. A pussy, even, he'll admit. But there was a whole other reason for him avoiding sports.
He wasn't a big fan of physical contact.
But since he's become better friends with Steve Harrington, he's been discovering things about himself. Things he wished would have stayed hidden. Forever.
The first time, it was a tussle for the remote. Eddie refused to watch another episode of whatever the fuck capitalist media was trying to spoon-feed them, while Steve was adamant there was a plot that he was invested in. One elbow to the gut and some pulled hair later, he landed underneath the guy, his weight pinning him to the ground.
Melting his bones.
Soothing.
"You okay?"
Steve sounded concerned about Eddie's sudden silence, and his mind scrambled to salvage his dignity. All he could manage was a groan, which Steve thankfully interpreted as a sign of pain and not the sudden weakness that it was.
He instantly hopped off of him, apologizing.
Eddie has been avoiding and yearning for the touch ever since.
He had never considered Steve like that, but apparently being sat on was the biggest turn-on for his poor little dick, and now it was all he could think of at night.
His doom comes when he has to sleep over after a night of drinking. Steve insisted they share a bed, that it was alright, and Eddie foolishly believed him.
It is fine until Steve rolls over to put away his glasses.
"Shit, sorry. I just gotta..."
They didn't think this through, because Eddie was the one next to the bedside table, the one Steve was trying to reach. He almost crawls over Eddie to accomplish it, his weight heavy on top of him, pressing him to the mattress and making his mind go blank.
He bites his lip so hard he probably draws blood, but it doesn't stop the whimper Steve's body literally pushed out of him.  Steve freezes.
"Are you alright?" He drops the glasses and shoots up. "Did I hurt you?"
Eddie can't answer. His brain is screaming at his mouth, but he can't manage a single word, all he can think of is Steve's body back on him, that weight pressing him down, immobilizing him. He could probably reach pure bliss with just that.
When he doesn't get an answer, Steve pulls on his shoulder to flip him on his back. Eddie whines in protest but doesn't have enough control over his muscles to stop him. His shame gets put on display and Steve's eyes widen.
"Eddie?"
His pupils are huge as he blinks owlishly up at his friend.
"You okay?"
Eddie nods.
"Do you need anything?"
You. On me, against me, in me.
He shakes his head slowly, not breaking eye contact. This seems to frustrate Steve.
"Eddie, come on," he groans. "Clearly something's wrong. Do you need water? I can bring you some." He moves to stand up, but Eddie's in the way. He has to throw his leg over him, and Eddie presses his eyes closed, begging his body not to react.
It's enough to alert Steve, though, and he freezes hovering above him, mid-movement.
"Huh."
It's a soft sound, barely there, and Eddie decides to keep his eyes closed. Maybe if he does, whatever realization Steve has gets forgotten, and he moves on, brings him the damn water, and maybe throws it on him like on a horny dog. Maybe that would help him.
But no, the ‘huh’ is followed by Steve settling down on his hips.
Oxygen escapes him in a whiny breath, and his body presses up without his control, seeking that delicious weight of another body.
"Want to make out about it?" Steve asks out of the blue like any normal person would in these circumstances. But Eddie doesn't answer him, he can't, and he doesn't know. He can only stare and writhe under him, making tiny sounds of need he can't comprehend. Steve frowns down on him, partially concerned, partially curious.
"Don't feel like talking?" he asks. Eddie gives him a nod. He hums. "Can you answer some yes or no questions? Nod for a yes and shake your head for no."
Nod.
"You can blink twice if you don't know or don't want to answer. Okay?"
Nod.
"What do you do if you don't want to answer?"
Eddie blinks twice.
"Good. Great." Steve smiles, and Eddie mirrors it through his haze. "Are you feeling alright?"
Nod.
"Do you need water?"
Shake.
"Do you need the bathroom?"
Shake.
"A snack?"
Shake.
Steve considers him, perched on top of his body. Eddie tentatively reaches up, palms resting on his thighs. Steve's gaze follows his fingers, where they just rest with no ill intent, only there to touch.
"Will we talk about it more in the morning?"
Eddie hesitates. Does he want to talk about it? To bring his shame to the light of day, confess the budding crush on his friend? But Steve doesn't seem angry, he's not kicking him out of the bed. He's being soft and gentle and trying to understand. Maybe in the morning, they could understand it together. Tentatively, he nods.
That eases Steve's frown a bit, but he sighs when another problem hits him.
"I don't know what else to ask," he admits with a huff.
Eddie wants to help, so he slides his hands up, towards his hips, and tries to convey as best as possible where he wants him. He stares into his eyes, begging him to understand.
"Want me to lay down on you?"
He nods furiously, excited to get what he needs.
Steve looks down. It's a minuscule movement of his eyes, but it's there. He will know if Eddie's hard when he moves, but he needs the heads-up. The bulge in Eddie's sweats is noticeable but not fully there, to Steve's relief. Having his friend under him in such a pliant state is already overwhelming as it is, and he knows Eddie will feel his own chub when he moves.
"We're just sleeping tonight, alright?" Steve clarifies and Eddie nods without hesitation. "And cuddle a bit, I guess." Eddie nods again.
He moves, watching his friend’s face for any sign of distress. Eddie’s hands slide around him in an embrace that's more comforting than Steve's ready to admit, and soon they're chest to chest, legs tangled, and he has to crane his neck to maintain eye contact.
"That alright?"
Nod.
Eddie's hands squeeze him minutely and Steve settles down against his shoulder, finally resting his full body weight against him.
The man underneath him sighs, and it's like his whole body deflates. He makes a content sound in the back of his throat, and Steve wants to cry. It's so endearing and so comforting to have Eddie trust him like that. To have him turn into mush in his presence.
He hopes he's not overstepping when he presses his nose to Eddie's neck, inhaling him and softly caressing his skin when he murmurs a "goodnight, Eds."

Steve lowkey earning himself a reputation for liking guys and girls before he even realizes he does because he keeps interjecting and giving his own answer every time someone tries to ask Robin about guys
At first no one thinks anything of Steve’s interruption and answer when Nancy asks “what even is your type?” quite clearly to Robin and Steve immediately answers “I like girls that are way smarter than me” and everyone just assumes he’s interrupting to hit on Nancy and not to deflect
Then later someone insists some guy was flirting with Robin and she should go for it and Steve immediately goes “Are you kidding me? Robin’s way out of his league. Besides, I had a class with him and he mentioned his stamp collection in it like eight times. Do you really think she wants to sit around and pretend to be impressed by hundreds of stamps?” Still no one thinks much of it yet and if anything they think Steve might be jealous or might just have standards for who they should set her up with
It’s not until it becomes a habit of him answering questions meant for Robin that people start to think there’s a reason, but it’s not Robin they’re onto
Like when they’re having a movie night and Max is going on and on about a shirtless character while Lucas is totally unfazed but Dustin complains and El says which character she liked more and then Max turns to Nancy to break the tie and say which guy is dreamier and Nancy casts her vote, then turns to look over at Robin and ask which guy she’d go for and Steve knows who the question is for but hey he’s sitting right next to Robin so Nancy’s looking in his direction and too and she didn’t say Robin’s name, so Steve doesn’t even hesitate before dropping the name of a character and making sure he keeps the focus off of Robin and keeps everyone distracted from dragging her into that debate by immediately backing it up by saying that Max is right and giving even more reasons to choose him
But even after that, that’s mostly forgotten by the time the older group is drinking and Eddie suggests they play a drinking game and normally Steve would be all over any suggestions, but he turns down truth or dare because he knows how uncomfortable Robin would be and doesn’t want her having to choose between awkwardly lying and deflecting or doing dares she’s not comfortable with or potentially outing herself so he at least manages to change it to never have I ever because that’s a safer bet when he knows Robin hasn’t done anything with any girls
But then Steve ends up drinking significantly more than anyone else while Robin and Eddie are hardly drinking so they end up switching games and somehow they end up playing fuck, marry, kill except Nancy has no interest in getting married or discussing it and she says there’s been enough death in Hawkins and it would be more fun to play with the options as sleep with, kiss, slap. And the game is already started before anyone can ask why marry got changed to kiss and before drunk Steve can figure out how to discretely convince everyone not to. The game goes fine at first with Argyle asking Jonathan about three girls from California. It goes alright when Jonathan asks Eddie about three girls. Steve gets a little concerned when Eddie turns his attention on Nancy that he’ll put Jonathan and him in the list right in front of Jonathan, but Eddie is sober enough still that he at least has enough tact not stir the pot and blow things up on her first turn by throwing them both in in front of them
But then Nancy goes to give Robin a turn and she’s looking right at her and lists the three guys there other than Steve (possibly because she believes Robin on the platonic with a capital P thing and possibly because she doesn’t want to find out if that would waver) so of course Nancy thinks it’s clear that she must be talking to the only other girl there. And before Robin can even try to think of what lie would be the most convincing and least likely to start any awkwardness or drama, Steve’s already jumping in with “Well, I already hit Jonathan and that didn’t go well for me, so I’ll give him a break. And this situation” (gesturing between himself and Nancy and Jonathan) “is finally starting to feel normal so I don’t need to make that awkward all over again by sleeping with your boyfriend. So kiss Jonathan.” And Nancy and Jonathan are looking at him so confused and Robin is grateful for the interruption and relieved but also kind of amused by the level of thought he’s putting into it instead of just throwing out names however. Argyle’s not fazed at all and just waiting to see what he’ll get. Eddie goes from deer in the headlights startled to leaning forward with his elbow on his knee and his chin resting in his hand waiting to see where this will go to abruptly sitting up again and trying to look less interested while his leg nervous bounces and he tries to figure out if Steve is giving a detailed answer to this as a joke or because he’s putting genuine thought into the idea of being with a guy
Steve looks between Eddie and Argyle for a moment, then focuses on Argyle and is like “Sorry, I hardly know you and getting dragged into hitting Eddie or standing around and watching Tommy do it without making any move to stop him is exactly the kind of douchebag bullshit I would have pulled in high school. So I guess slap you and have sex with Eddie.” Eddie’s drink goes down the wrong way when Steve adds “Plus, guitar players are supposed to be good with their hands, right?” and he tries to play it off and not react to the fact that Steve Harrington just said he’d have sex with him and that he thinks Eddie would be good in bed even if it was just in the context of some stupid game. Meanwhile Argyle’s just like “Nah, that’s cool dude. I get it. I would have slapped you too if the roles were reversed.”
After that, a few people start wondering a little more seriously if Steve is into guys too and had his guard down while drinking. But Eddie isn’t going to press his luck without clear evidence and everyone else isn’t going to push it so they just silently wonder a little more every time Steve interjects in the girl talk with his own opinion once again

a/n: this was inspired by an audio i found on twt a few weeks ago so..enjoy 😁
You've lost count of how much you've smoked at this point. You also lost track of time, not realizing the sun had long gone down.
Hours have gone by, and the two of you have barely left the bed, stuck in a continuous cycle of smoking and fucking.
Eddie's lips feel so good against yours, you can't get enough. You tangled your fingers in his hair, tugging his head back and deepening the kiss. You feel Eddie's fingernails dig into your skin, scratching down your thighs, making you moan into his mouth.
Eddie's hands started roaming all over your body. Goosebumps rose on your skin from the rings on his fingers when he slipped his hands under the shirt you were wearing. His fingers found your sensitive nipples, rolling them under the pads of his thumbs before tugging on them.
You bite down on Eddie's lip with a whimper and he laughs.
"What's the matter, princess?"
"I'm so fucking wet," you whisper against his lips while subconsciously rutting your hips against his thigh.
You weren't sure if it was all the weed you smoked or the number of times Eddie's made you cum today, but all you could think about was him touching you.
"Yeah, baby?" he placed his hands on your ass, starting to direct your movements, "You want me to do something about that?"
"Please.." your voice dies when he flexes his thigh, the denim from his jeans rubbing against your clothed clit just right.
Eddie crashed his lips into yours, swallowing your moans. Eddie's hand landed on your ass with a loud smack, and you whined into his mouth, clenching your thighs around his.
"Dirty fucking girl, riding my thigh like this," Eddie panted against your lips, "you're so fucking hot." he smacked your ass again.
"Eddie, please-"
Then the phone started ringing.
Eddie seemed to ignore the annoying ring, but your high couldn't help but lead you to overthink.
"Eds, the phone."
"I know, sweetheart. But you're close, aren't you?"
You bite your lip, unsure to answer the question because Eddie puts your needs above all else.
"What if it's your uncle? It could be an emergency."
"Always such a considerate angel," he caressed your cheek before you moved out of his lap and let him get up.
You aren't upset about your lost orgasm, knowing Eddie would make up for it at least three times over.
He walks to the phone that was by the door of his room, not leaving your eyesight as he answers it from the doorway.
You weren't listening to what he was saying to whoever he was talking to. You were too lost in thought, eyeing your boyfriend from across the room. Your eyes roamed all over his body. He was only wearing jeans from when he had to answer the door for the pizza delivery guy. Your eyes studied his tattoos all on display for you to ogle over before falling down to the tufts of hair on his lower stomach, peeking out from behind those handcuffs he has on his belt.
Eddie noticed how you were practically drooling over him, and he smirked.
"Yeah, give me fifteen minutes." was all you heard from the conversation.
Eddie hung up the phone and started to head back towards you.
"Everything okay?"
"Yeah, it was just Pete. He wanted to see if I could deliver." Eddie sighed, putting on a shirt he had just lying around.
You didn't let yourself cum for a drug deal...
"You want me to come with you?" you ask.
"No," he stopped you, "I want you to stay right here like this," he kissed you, "Cause I'm not done with you," Eddie slipped his hands between your legs and cupped your sex.
"Okay," you nodded.
"Be good for me and behave. I won't be long."
You rolled your eyes with a huff, "Fine."
Eddie playfully shook his head at you before heading out the door.
The first five minutes felt like five hours, and by the tenth minute, you had grown completely restless.
The longer you lay in Eddie's bed, wearing his clothes, the harder you knew this would be for you. He was all around you, his music, his clothes, his smell. The ache between your thighs grew stronger by the second.
One little touch couldn't hurt, right?
You softly stroked your clit over your panties. Relief flooded all throughout your body, firmly pressing your fingers into the damp fabric.
You drew your hand away only for the ache to return.
You knew your fingers would never feel as good as Eddie's, and he was going to come back any minute. But you needed to be touched so desperately.
Your hand slipped past the waistband of your underwear, and you started caressing your wet folds.
You bit your lip with a whimper, soaking your fingers in your slick. One of your hands snuck under Eddie's hellfire shirt you were wearing to tweak your nipple between your fingers.
Your lips parted as you softly moaned. You started rocking your hips against your hand uncoordinatedly rubbing circles on your clit.
"Eddie," you whined.
All you wanted was to feel your boyfriend's hands on you, but yours were good enough for now as you could feel that knot tightening in your lower stomach again.
"You just couldn't wait, huh, baby?"
Panic floods your body, hearing his voice.
Eddie stood in the doorway with his tongue poking his cheek, "I told you I wouldn't be long."
Eddie kicks off his shoes and takes off his jacket as he makes his way over to you.
You try closing your legs, but Eddie stops you.
"Ah ah, keep those pretty legs open for me," he places his hand on your knee, "You just couldn't resist, could you?" he asks, sliding his hand up your inner thigh.
"I'm sorry, Eddie-" you start.
"Don't be sorry, baby, I'm not upset," he says, his hand continuously inching higher towards your heat, "You sound so fucking hot moaning my name while you touch yourself," he says lowly in your ear as his fingers brushed over your clit.
Eddie ran his fingers through your folds, letting your juices coat his digits. He groans lowly when he feels how wet you are.
"Such a fucking needy thing, you just wanted my fingers so bad," he said, taking his hand away from your pussy and bringing his fingers to your lips.
Without hesitation, you open your mouth and let Eddie slide his fingers onto your tongue. You swirl your tongue around his digits, humming at the taste of your juices staining them.
"Good girl," Eddie mumbled, watching you hollow your cheeks around his fingers.
You released his fingers with a pop, spit connecting from your lips to his hand. He brings his wet fingers back to your core, teasing your pussy.
Eddie parts your folds, staring at your clit, begging for attention before letting spit dribble out of his mouth and onto your pussy.
The sight turned you on so much you thought you were gonna go crazy.
"Just making sure you all nice and wet for me," he tells you, using his thumb to mix his saliva with your wetness.
"Eddie~"
"That feel good, sweetheart? Want me to keep going?"
"Please,"
"How badly do you want my fingers?"
"So fucking bad, please, Eddie. Please touch me."
"Yeah?" you didn't see the growing smirk on Eddie's face when he started tapping your clit with his fingers. You tried to close your legs with a whimper when he lightly hit your sensitive skin, "How bout that? That feel good, princess?"
The feel of his ring-clad fingers coming into contact with your pussy in light slaps, hurt but in the most delicious ways.
"Eddie," you grabbed onto his wrist. Not to stop him but prevent him from moving his hand away.
Eddie lost himself in the feeling of you against his hand, his fingers expertly teasing your lower lips. He rubbed two fingers against your slit before dipping the digits into your heat.
He was enamored with the way your face twisted up in pleasure from his fingers stretching your walls. The metal of his rings bit your skin, a cool contrast against your warm skin.
With his other hand, Eddie grabbed your face making you look at him, "I told you to be good and behave, didn't I?" he firmly held your chin between his fingers. "You just couldn't stop yourself from being a needy little slut."
He laughed when he felt your walls fluttering around his fingers from his condescending tone.
"But that's what you are, isn't it? A slut only good for having her holes filled by me,"
"Eddie-oh my god!"
"You gonna cum, angel?" he asks, curling his fingers against your gummy walls.
"Please, please. Let me cum, Eddie. I'm sorry, I'll be good I promise."
"Shh, it's okay," he silenced you with a kiss. "Cum," he told you.
You swore you were gonna sink into the mattress beneath you, losing yourself in euphoria. Eddie's name repeatedly tumbled out of your mouth as you came on his fingers, thanking him.
"That's it, baby. That's my good girl," he praised, kissing your skin as you came down.
You whine when you feel the emptiness after Eddie takes his hand away from you.
He examined the slick coating his fingers, even his rings glimmered with your juices.
Eddie didn't even think twice about sliding his fingers into his mouth, licking your essence off his hand.
He grabs your jaw, crashing his lips into yours. Eddie pulled away, leaving your swollen pouty lips chasing his for more. He squished your cheeks together, and you stuck your tongue out before Eddie spit in your mouth.
You grinned as you closed your mouth and swallowed.
"You're so gross," you laughed.
"Like you aren't as equally nasty," he kissed your lips.
You wrapped your legs around his waist, keeping him close. Eddie grabs your thigh, rutting his clothed bulge into your pussy.
You start tugging on his shirt, telling him you want it off, and he only broke the kiss to pull the piece of clothing over his head.
Eddie's hand slipped between your bodies, softly stroking your clit again.
"Eddie, m'sensitive," you whine.
"Yeah, but this is what you wanted right?" he nudged your nose with his, "Been dying to be touched, you couldn't even wait fifteen minutes. Gotta come back to find my girlfriend with her pretty little legs spread, touching herself to the thought of me." he pinched your clit between his fingers making you moan. "Just wanted to cum so badly," Eddie teasingly dragged his finger between your folds. "So you're gonna cum as many times as I want."
"Eddie, please," you dig your nails into his skin.
Eddie pushed your shirt to your sternum, leaving kisses down your stomach. He softly sunk his teeth into your skin, pressing a kiss to your hipbone after leaving the mark there. Eddie started to lift your legs over his shoulders, kissing and licking your inner thighs.
He held your legs apart, his fingers softly digging into the plush of your thighs. Eddie hungrily stared at your pussy, licking his lips before flattening his tongue against your slit.
"Fuck, Eddie," you tangled your fingers in his messy curls.
Eddie ate you out like a starved man, burying his face deeper into your pussy. Your back arched off the bed as electricity jolted through your body from Eddie sucking on your clit.
Your thighs threatened to close around Eddie's head, but hooking his arms around your thighs prevented that from happening.
You squirmed, your legs twitching from the overwhelming pleasure flooding your body. Eddie repeatedly flicked your clit with his skilled tongue. Your hands found their way into his hair, pulling and tugging on the messy curls.
Eddie moaned against your skin, letting his tongue wiggle inside of you. Your toes curled, and your eyes rolled in your head. You couldn't help the noises that shamelessly spilled out of your lips as you neared your second orgasm.
"Oh my god, Eddie please,"
"What, baby? Gonna cum for me again already?" he grinned, half his face glistening with your slick.
With your bottom lip tugged between your teeth, you nodded your head. Eddie never took his eyes away from yours as he lowered his head back down, sticking his tongue out and collecting all your juices.
Your ankles locked behind Eddie's head as your orgasm crashed over you. He still held your legs apart, lapping at your folds, licking up everything you had to offer.
"Hey, look at me," Eddie whispered.
Your eyes fluttered open to find him hovering over you, checking on you.
You nuzzled into his hand that was caressing your face before leaning in and connecting your lips.
"I'm okay," you whispered back.
"Yeah?" he nudged your nose with the tip of his, "You think you can give me one more then, sweetheart?"
Feeling his cock straining against his jeans as he pressed it into your thigh, you only nodded as more arousal flooded your body.
He was slow to undo his pants like he was punishing you on purpose. He watched as you eagerly waited for his jeans to hit the floor so you could have him the way you desperately wanted.
Eddie grabbed both your legs and pulled you closer to him. His hips met yours, and he slipped his cock between your folds. You tried to bite back a moan, feeling his heavy cock nudging your clit.
"You feel that, princess? Feel what you do to me," he spoke against your ear. The low tone of his voice sends vibrations straight to your core.
"Eddie. Please fuck me,"
You tried to lift your hips, only for him to pin them down to the mattress before he slid into you at an agonizingly slow pace.
"So fucking wet," he mumbled, "pussy feels so goddamn good."
Eddie tried to hold himself back from just bottoming out in one go. Feeling the way your warm walls pulse around his length, still sensitive from cumming twice already but still aching for more.
Your legs locked around Eddie's waist, keeping him there as you adjusted to him.
"Eddie," his cock twitched at the sound of his name rolling off your tongue so deliciously.
"Mhm?" Eddie's nostrils flared, and his muscle rippled under his skin, his hands grabbing onto the headboard.
"I love you," you mumble.
"God, don't do this to me, baby. I'm not trying to finish before I've gotten started."
"But you make me feel so good, Eddie," the drunken grin on your face was enough to tell Eddie how far gone you were, "You're always so good to me."
Eddie slowly rutted his hips into yours. You could feel the sticky mess between your thighs each time he pushed into you.
Eddie grabbed onto the headboard with one hand while using the other to bring your leg higher around his torso.
"E-Eddie, I can't-"
"I know, sweetheart. It's okay," he tucked your hair behind your ear before kissing you.
You bit down on his lip with a moan, feeling his cock brush your sweet spot. Your walls clamped down around Eddie when he pressed his thumb to your clit. Your eyes rolled back, and you could feel yourself slipping into ecstasy.
"Pl-Please don't stop," you panted.
"Such a good girl for me," he whispered.
"Eddie~"
"That's it, baby. Say my name."
"Eddie!"
"Whose pussy is this?"
"Yours. S'all yours. Only yours."
"Cum for me."
Your body went numb, your mind blank. Eddie hissed as your nails sunk into his arms, his cock twitching against your walls before spilling his cum into you.
The two of you didn't move much, letting yourselves come down from your high. You softly ran your fingers through Eddie's hair as he mumbled affirmations into your sweaty skin.
"I love you," he said, pressing a kiss to the corner of your mouth.
"Mm." Eddie knew your mind was in too much of a stupor to have processed his words, but he repeats them again, making sure you're still with him.
"I love you."
"I love you too," you softly giggle.
"Try some shit like that again, and I ain't promising to be so nice next time."
"Maybe I don't want you to be nice next time." you smiled.

Spend the Night {Eddie Munson}
Tumblr media
Plot: You spend the night with Eddie but afterwards, you're unsure of where you stand with him now.
Character: Eddie Munson x Reader
Eddie had fallen asleep around an hour ago and yet you're still lying awake, staring at the ceiling of the trailer as he snores softly in your ear. He's got an arm draped over you, body moulding to slot in beside yours. You can't sleep. You don't know if you should be sleeping or not.
You and Eddie weren't an official thing, at least you didn't think you were, but you'd been hooking up the last while. To you, Eddie was more than just a hook up. You loved him though you wouldn't tell him that. After everything that had happened, the two of you had just kind of gravitated towards each other and you fell... The issue was that you didn't know where Eddie's head was. Were you just sex to him? Something to fuck and then leave? Or were you more? You didn't know. This was the first time that he'd fallen asleep, usually you'd make up an excuse to leave and go home but tonight... tonight you didn't know what to do. If you fell asleep, would he be mad? You decided that it would be best to leave.
You shift, lifting his arm up and trying to slide out of the bed, but Eddie's arm wrapped around you tighter, pinning you down, "Where you going?" His voice is slurred in a sleepy state.
"I-I was going to go home," you say softly.
"Time's it?" He rubs at his eyes before checking the time on the alarm clock, "It's not even morning! Back to sleep, let's go."
"Eddie," your voice almost sobers him up from the grogginess, "I feel like I've overstayed my welcome... I don't usually stay-" You're nervous, he realises. Why would you be nervous? Are you nervous of his reaction? He doesn't know.
"Hey, c'mere," he rolls onto his back, opening his arms for you to lie on his bare chest. You comply. His arms wrap around you as he presses a soft kiss to your forehead, "You can stay as long as you like you know. You're not overstaying or invading my space or whatever, I want you here. I want you here all day every day... Do you want to be here?"
You nod against his chest, "I just... Sorry. I got caught up in my worries just because I don't know what we are and I didn't know where we stood-"
"You mean like relationship wise?" Eddie asks, playing with your fingers. You nod again, "Well... I kind of assumed it was obvious. I want you to be mine." You breathe a sigh of relief as Eddie tells you that he wants you, "I don't do this with anyone else, I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else... It's just you." It wasn't those three words but it was good enough; it was an admission of sorts and that's plenty good enough for you.
"Good," you sigh, "I want that too." Eddie feels the tension leaves your body, feels you fully relaxing against him, "so... we're official then?"
Eddie laughs slightly, "Yeah... Yeah I guess we are." He presses a soft kiss to your forehead once more before asking, "Can we sleep now? You are more than welcome to sleep, what's mine is yours yadda yadda, can we sleep?"
You giggle into his chest, "Yeah," you nod, settling into his warmth, "We can sleep now."

what the heart wants - pt. 1
pairing: Eddie Munson x Kayla Walker (OC)
warnings: none, fluffy nervous Eddie
word count: 4.1k
part 2 || part 3
Tumblr media
Eddie furrowed his brows and took a long drag of his cigarette as he pondered the proposal he was faced with, his chocolate brown eyes bouncing between Chrissy Cunningham and her dumb jock of a boyfriend.
“You’re giving me fifty bucks just to ask some girl out?” He questioned, blowing smoke directly at the boyfriend, causing him to have a coughing fit while a smirk pulled at Eddie’s lips.
Chrissy groaned and grasped Eddie’s arm gently, turning him towards the parking lot, “Not just some girl… her!”
Across the lot, Kayla sat on the hood of her car, writing in her journal. His eyes fixed on her as her dark hair blew in the breeze. She wasn’t the typical person you would expect to be friends with someone like Chrissy and it was clear why she sat alone when Chrissy was with the cheer squad. From what little Eddie knew about her, Kayla wasn’t the cheerleader type and didn’t care at all what people thought about her. She liked that everyone was a little scared of her and enjoyed being unapologetically herself, no matter what.
“Okay, so why me?” Eddie asked, turning back to Chrissy and sticking his cigarette back in his mouth. “Doesn’t pretty boy over there have any friends to ask her out?”
Chrissy giggled and shook her head, “Kayla would eat them alive.. but you, Eddie, you could level the playing field” she smirked. “She wouldn’t expect you. We just need you to woo her and convince her to come to the party next weekend! That way I can tell my mom I’m studying with Kayla and we can all go together! Please, Eddie… what if we up it to $75?”
His eyes darted between Chrissy and Kayla for just a moment before he snatched the money, a boyish grin appearing on his lips, “You got a deal, sweetheart” he winked.
Chrissy squealed and clapped Eddie on the shoulder. “Thank you, thank you! Ok, she likes horror movies, especially older cheesy ones. She’s going to tell you that she loves Nirvana and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, but she actually loves Bryan Adams. Don’t smoke around her, she hates it... And uh... Oh! She also tells everyone her favourite colour is black but it’s lavender” She grinned.
Straightening himself up, Eddie mocked smoothing out his hair as he strolled through the parking lot toward Kayla’s car. He wasn’t exactly confident about how this would go, but money was money, and even though he had never spoken to this girl before, he always kept his customers happy. He observed her for a moment, wanting to know at least a little about her. He took note of the three small stars she had tattooed on the inside of her wrist and the way her fingers tapped on the blank page as she thought about whatever it was that she was writing.
What was she writing anyway? A song maybe? Eddie’s thoughts drifted from the task at hand as he watched the brunette furiously begin to scribble on the page.
“Romeo, Romeo… Where for art thou, Romeo?” Eddie recited, leaning onto her car and batting his chocolate brown eyes up at the girl on the hood.
Kayla’s head slowly turned to meet his eyes, her eyebrow arched as she tilted her head to the side, “What?”
“I… It was a joke..” He mumbled, “Anyway! How you doing?”
“What do you want?” The brunette asked, taking in a deep breath and closing her journal.
“I’m going to see a movie on Friday and I want you to come”
“Was that a command?” She taunted, as she slid from atop her car and stood in front of him.
Eddie cleared his throat and shook his head, “No way! I just uh, was asking… if you wanted to go… with me”
“Ha ha funny... Do you even know my name?”
“Yeah, you’re Chrissy’s cousin!”
Kayla scoffed, as she threw her book bag into her car, “Of course, that’s my name to people at this school..” She muttered, pushing past Eddie to move to the driver's side of the car.
This was going to be harder than he thought. Eddie bit his bottom lip as he watched her, taking in the words she mumbled under her breath. A small twinge in his chest caused him to step back from her car. He sucked in a short breath and bent down to look in her car window with a charming smile.
“I’ll pick you up Friday at 8pm… Kayla” He let her name roll off his tongue, as he shot her a wink and went to walk away.
“Nice try... Eddie” She mocked with a grin before pulling out of the parking lot.
A deep chuckle escaped Eddie’s lips as he turned to watch her drive away. It was time for a new tactic and to put the knowledge that Chrissy had given him to good use. This was the type of challenge Eddie liked, he knew there was a way to get under her skin, and the trick was going to be pulling on just the right string to get there.
The next day, when he was walking downtown, he spotted the familiar flash of Kayla’s hazel eyes through the window of a small bookshop as she helped a customer. He smiled to himself, and snuck through the front door, grateful for a chance to see her outside of school.
He casually walked the shelves, browsing but never taking his eyes off that magnetic smile of hers. He took note of how her nose scrunched up when she laughed, and how great she was with the customers. That scary facade of hers at school was all an act. No doubt from being labelled as “Chrissy's cousin” and that’s all people saw.
Peeling his eyes away from the brunette for just a moment, Eddie looked at the books he was pretending to browse. He was in some self-help section and couldn’t help but chuckle to himself at some of the titles. When he finally looked back over, he was met with her hazel eyes and signature deep vanilla scent.
“Didn’t peg you for a stalker, Munson” She raised an eyebrow at him and crossed her arms over her chest. “What are you doing here?”
“I wasn’t following you!” He stated, casually grabbing a random book off the shelf and putting his hands up in defence. “I just happened to need a book… I didn’t know you worked here when I came in”
Kayla pursed her lips, as her eyes darted to the book in his hand. A sinister smirk grew on her plump pink lips, as she snatched it out of his hand and examined the cover.
“What to expect when you're expecting?” She questioned, holding it back out to him. “Hm, you know I did think you were glowing when I saw you yesterday”
Grabbing the book from her hand, Eddie shook his head, “I never said it was this book! I grabbed something random so you wouldn’t think I was following you!”
“So you did follow me?”
“No, no I did not. I was already in town, and saw you in the window so I thought I’d remind you about Friday” He grimaced as he put the book back on the shelf.
“So you lied to me?” Kayla tilted her head and cocked her eyebrow, as a playful smirk played across her lips.
“No, I really do need a book! I need a new copy of The Hobbit…” He wrung his hands together and took a deep breath, “I… I wore out the pages on mine” He mumbled.
Kayla sucked in a deep breath, and nodded once, turning on her heel and walking a couple of steps. She paused and turned her head, nodding for him to follow. A soft smile landed on Eddie’s lips as he walked with her to a different section of the store.
As they stopped in front of the fantasy section, he cleared his throat and stared at the shelves. “Have you read it?”
“The Hobbit? Of course, I have…” She replied plainly, retrieving one of the special editions from the shelf and handing it to him. “Hardcovers are more expensive, but they last longer.”
Eddie gently took the book from Kayla’s grasp, his fingers brushing against hers in the process. He felt his stomach tie up and he felt like his heart was going to beat out of his chest. Why was her skin so soft? And why did she smell so good? It was making his head feel dizzy. How long had he been staring at her? Too long, surely.
He let out a breath and looked away from her and down to the book as he pulled it tight to his chest. “Uh, thanks..”
“Mhm… Nancy will help you at the cash, I’ve gotta get back to work” She shot him a genuine smile, and turned to walk away.
Gaining some confidence back, Eddie smirked to himself, “I’ll see you Friday, Kay”
Kayla stopped in her tracks, and spun around, narrowing her eyes at him, as she bit the inside of her cheek to stop a smile, “Do not… call me that” She stated, before turning around and walking into the back room of the shop.
Eddie chuckled to himself and paid for the book, unable to get her hazel stare out of his head. At least they had found some common ground that he could work with. It seemed like she was a secret nerd just like himself, there had to be a way to leverage that somehow. Thoughts of Kayla and the musical sound of her laugh filled his head for the rest of the night, as he tried to play it off as coming up with a plan. Chrissy had promised him more compensation if he pulled this off and he wanted to make it worth her while.
She won’t find out, he thought to himself. And even if she does, it’s the job. It’ll be fine. He chewed on the inside of his cheek and bounced his leg as he sat in homeroom the next morning. Whatever his English teacher was going on about was not at the forefront of Eddie’s thoughts that day. Although it never was, this was for a different reason.
The ringing of the bell pulled him from his thoughts and made him let go of his breath. He gathered his books and darted into the hallway, searching for Chrissy. Thanking anyone listening that Kayla’s locker was on the other end of the school.
He found the blond by her locker, with a few other cheerleaders and felt a bit weird interjecting, but as soon as she saw him, she actually smiled and waved at him.
“Uh, can we talk for a second?” He rubbed his hand against the back of his neck and pressed his lips into a thin line as his eyes flitted around at her friends.
Chrissy nodded, and said goodbye to her friends, before following Eddie out a set of side doors into a quiet space. “What’s going on?”
“I can’t do this. I’m sorry” Eddie shook his head and wrapped his arms around himself as he leaned against the cool brick wall. “She’s just not interested, I don’t know what to tell you, but it’s not going to work” He shrugged.
Chrissy groaned, and placed her hands on her hips, “That’s not true! She likes you! She was asking about you at family dinner yesterday! You just have to push a little harder to break through those walls!”
Pulling a cigarette from his jacket, he placed it between his lips and lit the end of it. “She was asking about me?”
She nodded furiously, “Yes, now please please try again! I can tell your getting to her, and actually, you two are pretty great for each other”
“Let’s take it one step at a time” He chuckled, taking a long drag and thinking for a moment. “Fine, but you have to help me out here! Give me some ideas, because following her to work was not a good plan”
“Eddie, you’re forgetting your best talent…”
“I think I should take her on a date before I do that…”
“No!! No… You’re a musician Eddie, Kayla loves music! Serenade her! She’ll have to agree to give you a chance!” Chrissy grinned.
He nodded once and breathed out a laugh, as he tied his hair back into a low bun. “Right, right… I can do that! Thanks, Chris”
She gave him a small wave, and took off back into the school, leaving Eddie leaning against the school as he finished his cigarette. It had been a few days since he’d had one after he was told Kayla hated it. He just wanted the smell off of him so maybe she’d let him get close.
Finishing his smoke, he put threw it onto the ground and walked back into the now empty halls. Sometimes having a small class load was nice, it meant he could walk freely without free of running into one of the dumb jocks who thought they owned the hallway.
As he turned the corner and headed towards the music room, he spotted a familiar head of dark hair walking ahead of him. She had it tied up today, and he could see how the small baby hairs curled against the skin of her neck.
Eddie thought about what Chrissy said, and decided to take this opportunity for himself. He quietly started humming Run To You by Bryan Adams to himself, but he could tell she couldn’t hear him. God this was embarrassing. Him singing Bryan Adams… his band was never going to let him live this down if they ever found out.
He broke out into a whistle as he sauntered behind her, a smirk growing on his plump lips as he watched her stop in her tracks and turn to face him. He whistled the song louder and relished at the moment he saw that upturn on her face, and her eyes narrowed at him.
“She’s got a heart of gold, she’d never let me down…” He sang out into the echo of the hallway.
Kayla rushed forward and covered his mouth, as she laughed. “Shh! Shh, who told you?! Was it Chrissy? Because she’s getting smacked when I see her next”
Eddie smiled behind her hand and shook his head.
Removing her hand from his face, she wrapped her arms around herself as her eyes danced over his features. “You never give up, do you?”
“Not easily…” Eddie shrugged, the sound of her musical laugh still in his ears. “One date, that’s all I’m asking”
“Fine. I will go to the drive-in with you!” She laughed again, throwing her arms up. “One movie. And you’re buying me popcorn”
Eddie reached forward, and played with the ends of her hair, as he smirked at her. “That’s a deal…” He replied, before backing away from her and grasping the door handle for the music room. “See you later, Kay”
“Stop calling me that!” She called back, as she continued walking back to her class.
The next couple of days happened slower than Eddie wanted. It was strange that he was actually looking forward to their date. He took the time to clean out his van on Friday after school and make sure there was no reminisce of him smoking in there. He even found one of those pine tree air fresheners to hang off the mirror. He paused only a moment to question why he was putting so much effort into a date that was technically supposed to be fake, but he shook it off and kept cleaning.
He then showered and changed into a clean Iron Maiden tee with dark wash ripped jeans and his signature hand-cuff belt and hair pulled back into a messy bun. He grabbed his leather jacket and at 7:55 pm exactly, Eddie pulled up outside Kayla’s house.
“8 pm right? I know I’m early…” The corners of his lips upturned, as Kayla leaned against the door frame and bit back a smile.
As apprehensive as she was, Kayla still seemed pretty happy when he actually showed up. When Eddie caught a glimpse of her, his mouth felt dry and he couldn’t take his eyes off her. She was wearing a pair of black jeans with a white tank top tucked into them and a knit black cardigan hung off her shoulders. Her long dark hair was tucked into a braid on the right side and she looked as beautiful as ever.
The drive to the movie was quiet for the most part, but Eddie’s eyes kept flicking from the road to the beautiful girl beside him. Maybe this night wasn’t going to be so bad anyway.
“I uh, heard this movie was supposed to be good” He mumbled, trying to break the silence. “A little scary though, you think you’ll be okay?”
Kayla let out a breathy laugh, and nodded, “I’ll be fine. Did you pick a scary movie on purpose?”
Eddie shook his head, and smiled over at her, “Nope, I just uh… Chrissy told me you liked them”
“What else did she tell you?” She asked, leaning her head against the window as she watched him drive.
Bringing his finger to his lips, he turned his attention back to the road, “Well that I can’t tell you, then I lose all my leverage”
She laughed again and looked back out of the windshield. The rest of the drive was filled with small talk, Kayla asked about the band and Eddie was more than happy to tell her about it. There was a small conversation about books and trading recommendations.
They managed to find a good parking spot, close enough to see the screen without sitting at a weird angle, and far enough away that they were close to the snacks and bathrooms. As Kayla got comfortable in the van, Eddie ran to grab food before the movie started.
When he got back, he handed the bag of popcorn to Kayla with a smirk, “As promised, one bag of popcorn just for you”
She shot him a genuine smile for the first time, “Thank you, I’m glad to see you keep your promises”
“Always” He stated, as he climbed back into the van and got himself comfortable. Glancing over at Kayla as she munched her snack.
His breath hitched as Eddie cautiously reached over, “You’ve got a… Can I just…” He gently swiped his thumb on the corner of her mouth. “Sorry you had a…kernel” He mumbled, retracting his hand.
She cleared her throat and nodded once, “Uh, thanks..” She bit the corner of her mouth to stop a smile and turned back towards the movie.
Eddie sucked in a deep breath, and followed suit, moving his attention back to the screen. Shit. This was not part of the plan.
They watched the movie quietly, stealing glances at each other when they thought the other wasn’t looking. Eddie tried his best to concentrate on the movie and what was happening. He really had heard it was supposed to be good, and horror movies were his favourite. But thoughts of Kayla and his deal plagued his mind.
His attention was snapped back to reality when at a particularly scary part of the movie, Kayla jumped beside him and grabbed his hand. His breath caught in his throat as he felt the softness of her skin against his rough calluses.
She went to let go of his hand, muttering a ‘sorry’ under her breath, but Eddie interlaced their fingers instead and gave her hand a light squeeze.
“S’ okay… I’m right here” He leaned over and whispered, earning him a soft smile of acceptance from the brunette.
For the rest of the movie, any time she got scared, Kayla squeezed his hand and Eddie would run his thumb over the back of her hand, reminding her that he was there. Eventually, she moved right beside him, leaning her body into his. Sure they both loved horror, but that didn’t mean they didn’t get scared. That was the best part.
At the end of the movie, Kayla pulled her hand from his, and scooted back over to her seat, biting her lip as she smiled. Eddie cleared his throat and drove out of the parking lot, smiling softly to himself. On the drive home, they talked about the movie and how much they liked it. IT had been a while since a proper scary movie had come out.
It was strange to Eddie how much he and Kayla actually had in common. Maybe he should have spoken to her sooner, on his own accords. But this was never something he had thought he was worthy of. And given that Kayla had always kept to herself since she moved into Hawkins, they hadn’t crossed paths much. But this girl was starting to get to him. He could feel it.
The conversation flowed easier on the ride home as the topic of music taste was brought up. He was teasing her about her secret love of Bryan Adams, to which she laughed and pointed out how he knew the words to one of his songs. It devolved into a comparison between Nirvana and Metallica and which one was a better band.
“How can you even say that?! Metallica is not even in the same league as Nirvana! They are so much better!”
“Oh please! You think you have this scary metal head persona about you which means you have all this music knowledge but you can’t even listen to reason!”
They parked outside Kayla’s house, and without thinking Eddie jumped out of the van and jogged to the other side, opening her door for her as the argument continued. Despite the fighting, it was the most fun he’d had with someone in a long time, and this was something he wanted to drag out.
“Eddie, come on! Come as you are, Smells like teen spirit! Those are incredible songs! You cannot argue with that!” She pointed, as she jumped out of the van.
“Ouu you want to kiss me so bad” Eddie smirked, leaning back against this van and cocking an eyebrow at her.
Kayla bit the inside of her cheek to stop the growing smile and shook her head, “I do not! You are not even listening to the point here”
“Oh yeah… mhm… I can see it… You keep looking at my lips with those siren eyes of yours, trying to distract me!”
Kayla giggled and rubbed her forehead as she rolled her eyes, “You are infuriating”
He gasped dramatically and mocked a pout, “She giggled! How can you giggle at a time like this? I am being very serious here, Kay”
“God I hate when you call me that…”
He took a small step toward her, leaving mere inches between them, as he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, trailing his fingertips against the soft skin of her cheek  “Do you want me to stop?”
Kayla’s eyes flickered from his eyes to his lips “No… please don’t” She whispered.
Eddie swiped his tongue along his bottom lip, and placed his forehead against hers, brushing their noses together. “Can I kiss you…?” He whispered.
She nodded her head, and ghosted her lips against his, before he closed the gap, fitting their mouths together like two pieces of a puzzle as he smiled brightly into the kiss. Her lips were soft and tasted like buttery popcorn but it was perfect. He felt the butterflies erupt in his stomach, as his hand travelled lightly up Kayla’s arm landing on the side of her neck and pulling her in to deepen the kiss.
She pulled back with closed eyes, and a soft smile on her plump, kiss stained lips. “Goodnight, Munson… This was actually pretty fun” She stepped back and brushed a piece of hair from his forehead. “Maybe next time, you can prove to me how good Metallica is” She started walking back towards her house, smiling and scrunching up her nose as she teased him.
“Next time, huh?” He grinned, running his tongue along his bottom lip. “Good night Kay!” He called loudly.
She sucked in a deep breath, and opened her front door, turning back to look at him. “I hate when you call me that…”
“I know…” He replied, shooting her a wink.

Your stories are so good!
How about a story where Klaus gets in over his head and ends up being taken captive by Augustine but falls in love with one of the scientist over the time he’s there.
(Made it the scientists daughter, not sure why? I think I read the ask wrong and then just got too deep with it. I can make another one if this wasn’t what was wanted)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(TW:This does include physical and psychological abuse form Y/n’s father! Please don’t read if this will be too upsetting for you and know that you are not alone.)
Betrayal
Klaus often went into dangerous situations without much of a plan, he was immortal and he used that to his every advantage. To be fair to him, this always worked in his favour except for that one time with the hunters curse but other than that it was fine.
Until now.
He woke with a groan, his eyes felt heavy and his body was stiff. Forcefully, he forced himself to look around but his face was against the ground. With a grunt, he managed to roll onto his back. His breathing was struggled and released in puffs. A hum reached his ears and he turned his head slowly to see a man, no a vampire sat in a cage or a prison cell opposite him.
The guys clothes were filthy, bloody and muddy. Hair greasy and growing a touch long. He gave an unserious wave "congratulations, you've been captured" he cheered sarcastically and Klaus frowned. The vampire rolled his eyes "¿no hablas inglés?" he questioned "français? Italiano? Polski?" he fired, clearly bored.
"Where-" Klaus frowned at the dryness of his throat and tried to clear his throat but it caused a painful sensation "Where am I?" he asked, raspily.
"English" the man stated, nodding to himself. "Right uh you are in an experiment where they do fun little tests on us vampires because they have an undying hatred towards us" the man explained, laughing tiredly to himself when he said 'undying'.
Klaus stared at the man like he were mad. "Tests? What sort of tests?" he questioned, frustrated and the vampire shut up. He glanced behind Klaus before back to him nervously
"They're trying to make a serum to make vampires have the uncontrollable urge to feed on other vampires...to rip their heads clean off. Be stronger, unstoppable and filled with hatred for our own" he explained quietly as though someone may be listening. Klaus frowned in response and slowly dragged himself up into a sitting position against the cold wall of his cell.
Vampires who rippered other vampires? It reminded him of his father and he didn't exactly want to think of him. Nor did he want to feel this week, how much vervain had they pumped him full of? He groaned loudly and the other man hummed in agreement.
The sound of a lock went and the vampire opposite Klaus quickly got to his feet, holding onto the bars like a desperate animal.
The soft clicking of heels sounded and the mans face immediately relaxed slightly, his eyes looking eagerly for whoever was coming. Klaus was hit with a strong scent of vanilla before a soft sigh was heard and he could see the back of a women. Her hair hiding her shoulders and the top half of her lab coat. She wore small black heels and a coat.
"You okay?" she asked the guy opposite him, handing him something, blood. He could smell it and he needed it. The vampire scoffed it down immediately with a sound of pleasure.
"mm thank you darling...I don't suppose you have another for me?" he purred but she shook he head
"It's for the new one" she whispered and Klaus's senses perked. She proceeded to turn towards him and her eyes looked him over. Klaus let out a breathy laugh, this was who was supposed to be testing and torturing him? He raised both his brows and licked his chapped lips before pulling them into a smirk. In response she only rolled her eyes "those eyes won't work on many people here" she told him, she placed the paper shot glass of blood onto the floor and carefully pushed it into his cage. "You'll be known by 52836, answer to it or they’ll burn it into you so you remember it" she informed, watching him reach forward and grabbing the drink.
"This is all I get?" he questioned, his nose scrunched and his browed pulled together.
"One a day. None if you misbehave. You'll feel better tomorrow when you have less vervain in your system, until then keep quiet. 12144 will be here with you...get comfortable" she murmured, a certain sadness and level of pity in her eyes as she gave a tight lipped smile to both vampires before leaving.
12144 looked back to Klaus, "You can call me Enzo, she's called Y/n. One of the mean ones daughters, been coming down here since she was small. She doesn't mean much harm but she's too scared to go against the rules" he explained with a shrug "Sometimes she sneaks me two portions if she can. She touched me once, just a hand on the shoulder. I was far too weak to respond but I knew she was there"
Klaus stared at Enzo for a moment before glancing to his now empty cup. What the fuck did he just get himself into?
It was the question he asked himself every morning and every night. To start off with he fought back against the scientists, yelled and screamed demanding to know who they thought they were, making empty threats and hoping his family would find him.
Klaus began to feel a little pathetic, he was hoping? That wasn’t like him. He was strategic and powerful. So he tried to pay better attention. After a few weeks, he was able to understand why Y/n was so obedient. Her father was dreadful. She once suggested that Klaus needed a break after watching blood poor out of his eyes, her father proceeded to grab her and threaten to stick one of the syringes in her neck. She sprinted out the room as soon as she was let go and Klaus couldn’t blame her. It made him think of Mikael and how he would hold a sword against his throat.
He had sympathy for her, empathy too but unfortunately he had to push that aside and instead of help her, he would manipulate her.
He would ask her about the little marks on her skin knowing it was a result of her trying to help him. Enzo would shake his head and occasionally speak up, telling Klaus to leave her be when her discomfort became clear.
“I don’t mean to upset you sweetheart” Klaus murmured, his hand reaching between the bars to brush against her arm making her flinch and pull away. “You don’t deserve to be hurt. I know that, Enz- 12144, knows it too. You’re good and sweet” he told her, his hand reaching to touch her but she wouldn’t let him. “I could help you” he whispered, his eyes flicking to Enzo’s but he just looked annoyed.
Y/n shook her head and left quickly and Enzo sighed. “You shouldn’t do that to her” he mumbled “you’re only making her hopeful”
“I haven’t lied. If she were to let me out then I’d happily slaughter that father of hers. Then she’d be safe” he smile sarcastically
“I wouldn’t let you kill her too. She hasn’t done anything cruel since the first day I met her” Enzo muttered solemnly
“I don’t plan on killing her” Klaus stated simply as he looked down at the extra cup of blood she had given him. He wasn’t sure what he’d do to her but he wouldn’t kill her, scare her maybe but he didn’t really want to kill her.
The two vampires sat back down in their cells. Preparing themselves for the torture to come. Occasionally it wouldn’t come, instead they would hear the sobs of a fear stricken Y/n as she begged the ‘scientists’ to give 12144 and 52836 a day off. It was those moments that made him soften for her.
When she would come down to where they stay with trembling hands and cups of blood.
As she handed the small offering to Klaus, he slid his hand out to grab her wrist gently. She immediately flinched and dropped the blood making her breathing escalate in panic.
“It’s alright” he soothed, pulling her closer to the bars so he could put his other hand on her cheek.
“I’m sorry” she whimpered “I’ll get more”
“It doesn’t matter sweetheart” he murmured, caressing her face gently and wiping the tears away. “I had two cups yesterday anyway” he reminded and she sniffed with a nod. “Come here love, let me hold you” he whispered, tugging her closer despite the shaking of her head a the cry that left her lips. Enzo watched with furrowed brows as Klaus managed to wrap his arms around her. Y/n’s body was pressed against the bars, still shaking as the vampire caressed her back slowly. Klaus looked over her shoulder to Enzo as Y/n melted against him. With hesitancy Enzo nodded and relaxed.
After nearly a full minute, he let her go and watched as her tearful eyes looked at his. Silently she turned around and left, whispering softly to Enzo on her way out.
Said vampire narrowed his eyes at Klaus “What game are you playing with her?” He asked lowly
“We need to get out. She needs to get out. This is how we do it” he mumbles
“Make her trust you and then use her? Like that will help her. You’ll only hurt her more” he sighed and Klaus rolled his eyes, sitting back down on the dirtied floors and shutting his eyes.
Y/n tried not to look him in the eye after that and she went back to pushing the cup of blood towards him instead of handing it to him. He could tell and Enzo could tell that something deeper was wrong. And it was only when it actually happened did they understand what.
It was Klaus’s turn to be shackled down and tested on. What he wasn’t ready for was when one of the scientists came in dragging Y/n by the wrist. He forced her infront of Klaus and shoved a syringe into her hands. She shook her head and begged no but as soon as her father stepped into the room she knew she had to do it. With one devastating look to Klaus, she injected him with the substance.
They made her test his blood and his reactions all afternoon, claiming that it was a good learning opportunity and she should finally get involved in the family business.
By the time she was finished, Klaus couldn’t see nor hear, he was certain for a moment that he was finally dead but eventually he woke a few hours later back in his cell.
After that, Y/n rarely brought them blood, she couldn’t face them. And when she had to face them, it was because she had to hurt them and that was even worse for everyone.
Neither vampire blamed her, they didn’t fight her when she would touch them. They would simply let it happen and internalise as much of their pain as possible so she wouldn’t cry as much.
Occasionally the other scientists would leave and she would immediately try stop their suffering. Asking what she could do. Enzo assure her that it was fine and she would hold his hand for a small while and feed him some water. Klaus would ask her to distract him which always confused her and ended up in a splurge of rambling so that he would be able to focus on something else. The amount of random stories that girl had told him wonder if she was just making them up on the spot but he didn’t mind if she was. Often she would caress his hand or shoulder as she spoke to try and give a sense of comfort.
One day, when Klaus was supposed to still be knocked out, she was in his cell with him. She had been told to clean the blood from the floor so that it wouldn’t smell and not to worry about 52836 because he wouldn’t wake for another hour. They underestimated his strength and the fact that Y/n would try sneak extra blood.
When he woke, his eyes slowly found her. She was down on her knees, scrubbing at the ground with a sponge quickly. It was clear she was on edge. She made it clear when she glanced over to him a few times. Only one of those times did she realise he was looking back at her and when it hit her she froze.
Klaus made sure not to move either, he wasn’t sure if the cage was open or not and he didn’t know if she would scream if he moved too quickly. He watched as she slowly began to stand up, he hesitantly moved his arm out and let his hand touch her ankle. A sound left her mouth as she went still again and watched him wrap his hand around her. “Can you help me sit up?” He asked quietly and reluctantly she nodded.
He let go of her and helped push himself up as much as he could while she supported the majority of his weight. She whispered her apologies as she managed to get him up and leaning against the wall.
“Thank you sweetheart” he whispered, his hand finding hers. She swallowed thickly but held his hand and sat beside him staring at the ground blankly.
Enzo was in the other room, being tested on as usual so Klaus had her to himself for a moment.
His eyes flicked to the lock of the cell, it was open and he knew that if he drained Y/n now that he would make it out. He felt her shuffle a little close to that she could transfer some of her body heat to his, and sighed to himself. Slowly he wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close. “You’re not like them” he whispered, holding her closer.
“I don’t want to hurt you” she whispered sadly and he closed his eyes, cursing himself silently.
“I don’t want to hurt you either” he uttered “I’m sorry” he told her, just before lowering his head and sinking his teeth into her neck. He squeezed his eyes shut to try block out her cry of pain and confusion. Her blood burned down his throat with the vervain she’d ingested but regardless of the toxic herb, he could still feel his strength returning. Her hands desperately tried to push him off, sobs echoing through his cell as he drank. Klaus tried to be a gentle as he could but her squirming made it so difficult.
When her heart began to slow, and her her breathing quietened, he pulled his mouth off. She looked up at him with a look that could only be described as betrayal and fear. Still, he picked her up in his arms and kissed her head “it’ll be okay my love” he whispered, carrying her with him as he pushed the cell gate open. “I’ll be back” he promised, putting her on the ground, ignoring her cries as he went into the torture room.
After draining the three scientists in the room and tearing the shackles off of Enzo, he came back and picked up Y/n. Enzo was furious and took her straight off of Klaus, promising her that he had no idea this was what would happen.
The three of them managed to escape the building and Klaus broke into a random car, beckoning Enzo with Y/n into the back as he managed to get it started.
He glanced in the rear view mirror as Enzo stroked Y/n’s hair while she shook and cried and asked if her father was still alive.
Klaus’s eyes met Enzo’s in the mirror as he stepped on the gas. Neither had any idea what to do now.

Until we meet again
Pairings: Eddie Munson x fem!Reader
Warnings: contains stranger things season 4 spoilers, mentions of blood, grief, death.
Word count: 3000
A/N: Hi loves. Before you start to read I just wanted to make sure that I have not described Eddie's girl since I wanted y'all to play free around her and how you want to imagine her.
In pure bliss ( fluffy one shot x Eddie Munson ) here:
It hurt me to write this...
Tumblr media
- - - -
Pain was everywhere.
The dark world around held a tight grip around the thin strings of a young man's life, getting closer and closer with each weakened breath. His strained voice was filled with fear, pain and sorrow. Blood painted his lips, a coppery taste was the last thing he would remember that touched his tongue. The ground underneath was cold against his sweaty skin. He didn't liked it. He wanted to remember the world around him as something comforting and kind. Something that hugged him with a warm goodbye.
" I think it's my year Henderson. "
Eddie smiled weakly, although the warm and red thickness underneath his clothes spread quickly as it stuck onto his skin like grabby hands. The hope in the young boy's eyes in front faded away, hiccuping in between sobs as sticky tears continued to coat his rosy cheeks. Eddie wanted to reach up and hug him so fucking badly but he couldn't. His body wouldn't let him touch Dustin for the last time. His best friend who made him feel seen and heard, appreciating every little of Eddie's own considered defaults and lifted them up. Making him feel unique, loved by so many that he'd introduced into his new life.
Eddie felt so betrayed by his own body.
The open wounds wouldn't stop to sip through his beloved Hellfire shirt until he was drained. He could still feel the sharp teeth of the demo bats, gnawing his skin like he was a feast of their life. Though the painful, heartbreaking and cruel scene he'd gone through, it had become his year for once. Eddie was going to graduate, the teachers were as surprised as him. He'd started a new chapter in his life with new friends, but that he in the end would always consider as his family. Even Steve Harrington. The little jock in school with the perfect hair who every girl fawned over like they'd been hit with a cupid's arrow. Who would've thought that two so completely different souls would happen to be the ones to start a friendship for life.
86 had even given Eddie "the freak" Munson the girl of his life. With hair as soft as silk, eyes so pure and bright as the first sun-rays of the morning. Voice smooth like velvet and her heart sang the most beautiful melody of love. A girl that only could be his in dreams, but as in the end that he'd been gifted as his own living dream.
It had become his year. He'd never been so lucky.
But luck didn't last for long for Eddie unfortunately. Ever.
" I love you man. Take care of her, my world. " It felt like the other half of his heart shattered into pieces, biting back as he let the tears consume what was left of the pain.
Dustin buried his face in his hands, bursting out in tears and shaking his head as if he tried to shake away the scene in front from his reality.
" I love you too, all of us do. "
Dustin face and voice faded away behind a bright light, giving Eddie a last look of his sad smile and soul-crushed look before he finally felt a warm feeling. The pain disappeared and he couldn't taste the coppery taste anymore. Darkness replaced the light all of a sudden and it felt like he fell, waiting to hit a hard and solid bottom but it never bottom. He didn't even screamed because for some reason it felt peaceful, falling so slowly it felt like he just floated. It stayed silent until he heard a soft voice. He knew that voice so well as if it was a part of him.
The voice that reminded him of where his true home was. With her.
" Promise me you'll be back? "
" I promise princess. "
Their voices surrounded Eddie's mind in a loud echo and he twitched and turned from the loud ringing in his ears until he realized he'd stopped falling. He went still, eyes closed and breathing heavy. Tears streamed down his cheeks and his heart ached with the memories of what he'd left behind.
His true love. His whole goddamn world. He lied to her, but he wanted to promise her though he knew it would be hard to keep. He did it for her to not stop believing, to give her the strength to still have hope. He would do whatever it took to win the fight and come back to his girl. Even if it meant he jumped right into the crossfire itself.
To not stop fighting to get back home in her arms, to fight to feel her heavenly kisses on his skin as her fingers raked through his curly hair. He wanted to touch every single part of her body, making time to remember the way her hips dipped and how her nose scrunched every time he kissed her cute little nose to hear her sweet little angelic giggles.
She was a gift from heaven that had been taken away from him forever. She'd given him hope to think about a future, to have goals that he could actually reach for once. All because of the love she'd given to him.
A loud bang made Eddie sit up abruptly, gasping for air as he clutched onto his heart. It beated rapidly and it felt like it made up for the lost beats. He looked around in confusion. He was still in the upside down, red bolts of thunder striking down on the horizon and his eyes went wide open as panic hit him. He could still be in danger if he didn't moved. With wobbly legs he managed to stand up and he looked down to his body, touching every part of him. He didn't understand, feeling lost in a world so dark and lonely. He felt too light, too healthy and strong considering what just had happened to him. He remembered as if he laid in Dustin's arms just a couple of seconds ago. He did die, didn't he? He remembered how much it had hurt, how much the pain sucked out the last light of his life...and where the hell was Dustin?
There were no signs of blood, no pain to look for the source. It felt like a wicked lucid dream and he started to freak out again. He rubbed his face with a hand, stopped as his hand felt wet. A shaky hand reached to touch his wet cheek again, it felt sticky against his fingertips.
Not all of his feelings had disappeared. The sorrow and heartbreak was still there, slipping out from him in tiny droplets.
" You promised me to come back home Eddie. "
Her voice still lingered in his mind when he carefully took a step forward, guiding him to a place he actually knew of in the newly discovered dark world. His mind only turned quite as he reached a veiny and darkened version of the living room of his trailer. Big brown eyes peering up through the hole, the lights were still on as they'd left it before jumping down.
After he'd kissed her before going separate ways. A last goodbye, never meant to speak out loud.
Because Eddie didn't wanted to see it as a goodbye though he deep inside knew how close it could be, but that didn't matter, because he'd kept his promise.
He grabbed the sheets that were knotted up together as a rope and climbed up. He reached the top, head on the other side and he let go and fell against the mattress in his trailer. He quickly got up and fixed his bandana on his head and walked outside to the night with hurried steps. His heart could almost burst out from his chest from how hard it beated, smiling so hard his cheeks cramped as he walked through the trailer park to stand outside her house. Tears started to brim in his eyes from the joy and excitement that was waited ahead as soon as he would have her lips on his. He was going to be home in her arms soon, his princess.
He was going to pepper her with kisses until they would crash back onto the floor, and he wouldn't stop even then. He wouldn't even listen when she begged him to stop, it would only encourage him to continue. Not even when her eyes would turn watery from the giggling mess she would be.
Yes, Eddie Munson was madly in love.
His angel with the biggest heart was the reason he'd never stopped to fight. For her, he could burn down the whole world to be able to look into the beauty in her eyes again and roam his hands all over her and call her mine.
He walked up to the porch and opened the door, he didn't even had time to knock. He walked past the pitch black kitchen and living room to reach the stairs to the upper floor. It was so quiet, meaning everyone in the family was heavily sleeping. The wooden stairs creaked with each step he took but he didn't cared. All that mattered was to reach her love as quickly as possible.
Looking through the hallway from the top of the stairs he saw that her bedroom door was open. He sneaked his way down the hallway before reaching her room. He didn't wanted to scare her so he peeked inside first. The nightstand lamp was still on and she was laying under her duvet, clutching onto one of her fluffy pillows with her face was buried deep inside. Her sniffles were muffled.
Eddie broke from seeing his girl so heart broken so he wasted no time in walking over to her. Kneeling down he stroked her hair gently, hand traveling down to her cheek and he wiped away some tears with the pad of his thumb. His poor angel had fallen asleep while crying, having no idea how soon they would see eachother again.
" Hey baby, it's me. It's okay now I'm here. " He whispered.
She whimpered in her sleep, eyes still closed and he longed so much to see the warmth and comfort in them, and that smile when she would see that he was okay, but at the same time he didn't wanted to wake her up. She seemed exhausted, lips puffy and eyes swollen from all the crying.
If she only knew how close he was.
" I'm sorry darling, I know I promised, but better later than never, right? " He smiled to himself. Even in the most serious moment he managed to slip in a joke.
Her eyebrows furrowed together and a light groan left her lips. Eddie leaned forward and kissed the space between her brows to try to calm her down. He knew how often she had nightmares. When he pulled back, her eyes were wide open and looked directly into his. He stroked her cheek with his knuckles and he tried so hard to bite back the tears but couldn't, stuck into the corner of his eyes until the dam broke and spilled down to his lap.
" Hi. " He quivered with a smile.
If she didn't even hear or see him, her eyes left his to flicker around the room instead. She sat up and clutched onto the duvet harder, pulling it further up her chest. Eddie knew that look on her face. It was the same she had when he looked at her for the last time before jumping down the hole to the upside down. Not knowing if they'll actually see eachother again
She was scared.
Eddie stood up, worry set in his eyes and tone and he couldn't understand what was going on. Wasn't she happy to see him? Had she forgotten? No she couldn't. There was no way. He'd only been gone for a couple of hours.
" Baby you're scaring me. What's going on? " He reached forward to tuck a piece of loose hair behind her ear.
She froze from his touch and her breathing caught up. She pulled away and raised her hand as if she was about to sway away an annoying buzzing fly, but when her hand was about to touch his skin it never made it that far. Eddie could see her hand but it never touched him. If he was thin air. He backed away so fast he almost tripped over his own feet, not stopping until his back met the wall in a loud thud. He was swallowing cotton, feeling cold all of a sudden, almost as if the atmosphere from the upside down had followed him to her. She tried to follow where the sound could have come from, but her eyes never landed on him as obvious as it was.
If she couldn't see him at all.
The other part of his heart broke then, his world burning down to ashes until it blew away in the wind. He wanted to run to her, shake her as he screamed her name to make her see and hear him but he was too terrified of not knowing what the hell was going on. His fear molded him right down to the floor.
Her naked feet touched the wooden floor and she took a step forward and her eyes caught something on the floor. It looked like dirt, possibly from his shoes. She took a deep breath and collected herself, if she builded up the strength to speak for the first time since he came inside.
It was only a whisper as she closed her eyes and tilted her head up to the ceiling. " Eddie? "
Eddie pushed the palm of his hands against his eyes, catching every tear that spilled out. He wanted to scream his lungs out, being able to hear her voice again was worth every minute of the pain and lost blood. Everything inside him hurt even more than before.
He exhaled deeply and inched closer to her until he stood a hands length away. " I'm right here baby, please. " He pleaded while shaking his head.
Don't let this be a dream.
Her tounge poked against her inner cheek as she shook her head, fighting against the tears. She dropped to her knees with a hard slam and broke out in quiet sobs, everything in her crashed into a million pieces.
" I can't believe I'm still doing this, it won't change a thing. "
Eddie kneeled down to be at an eye level with her. He wanted her to touch him again so he could feel her. So damn close but still so far away, he felt. He was scared she would slip right through him again. Like a fucking nightmare.
Her voice was hoarse and raspy through the tears. " I don't know how this thing works...if you're even here...If it wasn't for Steve almost dragging me to your body earlier I wouldn't be able to see you so clearly how I remembered you last time. I'm thankful for him. You know how much I hate funerals and damn it I didn't wanted to say goodbye only when  you lay in that stupid ugly coffin...I almost didn't come down there because I didn't wanted to. " She breathed out a laugh with a head shake. " I didn't wanted to say goodbye, hoping I would wake up from this nightmare and be wrapped around your arms instead, leaning against your chest as you played my favorite song on your guitar. "
Eddie started to realize what was going on. Why she couldn't touch him, why the world was so cruel to him though he'd saved his girl, family and a whole town. It felt like the world slapped him right on the face, mocking him for feeling so happy and loved than ever before in his life.
Because Eddie wasn't there with his girl anymore, stuck between a world he couldn't let go off.
" No...this isn't happening...please. " Eddie pleaded in between the tears, the rock in his stomach dug its way deeper, hesitating at first before he placed his forehead against hers. He stayed there just as he wished, it worked when he took the command.
He could feel his girl tensing under his touch, but she didn't flinch. Her breathing was shallow as she stuttered. " Y-you promised me..."
This was the ending, an ending he so feared but that he saw as possibly reality. He felt like he hadn't more tears to shred, feeling empty and tormented. He didn't know how long he'd left and he knew she wouldn't be able to hear him. He'd gotten a change to seek closure, he could feel the warm and bright light reaching him with every shared breath they took. He wouldn't be able to take her to the lovers lake to camp every first weekend of the summer that she so loved, he wouldn't be able to feel her as close as possible as the blankets tangled around their naked, sweaty skin. He wouldn't be able to say I love you anymore.
He planted a sweet kiss against her forehead, lips moving against her soft skin. He closed eyes and took in their last moment together. " I know, my smart, beautiful, perfect and kind girl. I know, and I'm sorry. I did this for us, for Steve, Dustin, Robin...everyone. You know that, I tried my best my love, so damn hard but I failed. To take care of you and love you until we grow old together. We've talked about that so many times...I'll love you forever, please don't forget me. I'll always be here, looking after you but with a distance. Guiding you through your life and supporting you. I love you. "
Like a soft and fluffy blanket, the warmth and brightness embraced him into the most comforting hug he'd ever felt. He looked down to her one last time, they finally locked eyes again. Her warm eyes still looking after him, he knew she could feel him in some way but never hearing or seeing him. At least the world had given her a small part of him for the very last time.
At least he had a chance to say goodbye in the most perfect way he could've ever imagined.
Goodbye my love, until we meet again.

You gripped the wheel tightly as you heard the car rattle before it came to a shaky stop.
“No,” you groaned, tears already welling up in your eyes as you smacked the steering wheel. That caused your hand to throb in pain, which pushed you over the edge and you couldn’t help but cry. It had already been a bad day - this just made it a million times worse, “fuck, fuck, fuck!”
You had no clue about anything related to cars besides being able to get the engine oil. You doubted that little bit of knowledge was going to come in handy. At least you’d been able to get off the road while you waited for…something. Steve’s house was still a couple of miles away and you hadn’t noticed a payphone anywhere along the way. On top of all that, it had started to snow, softly but albeit - it was snowing. This was…not an ideal situation by any means.
After allowing yourself to cry for a few minutes, you got out of the car and opened the hood, looking inside to find…absolutely nothing that you understood. Your options were not necessarily great or endless. You could wait for someone to drive by and maybe stop to help, or you could walk to Steve’s house, the place you’d been on your way to when disaster struck. You figured that walking to Steve’s house was probably the best idea; maybe someone would stop while you were on your way.
“I’m sorry,” you yelled to the sky, unsure of who or what was your intended recipient, “I’m sorry for whatever I did that caused this to happen!”
With a huff you grabbed your stuff out of the car and started walking. The best thing, if there was a best thing to this situation, was that at least it wasn’t dark yet. If you walked fast, you’d be able to make it to Steve’s house just before the sun set.
-\─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Steve paced around the living room as he tried to figure out where on earth you could have been. You’d called well over an hour ago saying that you would be there shortly. He knew that it was about a fifteen minute drive from your office to his house. You should have been there by now. Something was wrong and he grew increasingly worried.
And then came a gentle, timid knock on his door. He stopped dead in his tracks, goosebumps bursting up all over his skin as he looked to the door as though he’d be able to see right through it. But he knew that knock, that gentle tap that was always in a small pattern that you’d made up years ago. Steve wasn’t even sure why you bothered knocking anymore; his place was practically yours by this point.
He almost ran to the door and threw it open without hesitation. When he saw that it was you, he visibly relaxed - until he really looked you over.
“Sorry I’m late,” your teeth were chattering as you offered him a small, shy smile.
“Honey,” he tutted softly as he reached for your hand, his long, slender fingers wrapping around your wrist as he pulled you into the warmth. You opened and closed your mouth a few times, trying to figure out how to tell him what happened, without worrying him too much.
“‘m okay, Stevie,” you promised meekly, despite the fact that you were freezing, your feet hurt, and you still had to figure out what to do with your car, “just…ran into a bit of a problem.”
“Take off your jacket and get closer to the fire,” he whispered gently; all you could do was nod as he helped you to take off your jacket. You were only wearing a thin sweater underneath, not having expected on making a cold, wintery trek, “c’mon, you’re shivering.”
He tossed a big, cushy pillow onto the floor along with your favorite blanket. You obliged him without hesitation, your heart melting at his gentle and tender nature. He held up a finger before quickly running down the hall to his bedroom; you could hear him rummaging through his drawers for a few moments before coming back and holding one of his sweaters out to you. It just so happened to be your favorite - warm and thick and yellow. You wondered if he knew that it was your favorite. He had to.
“Are you-”
“Positive,” he whispered softly as you took the sweater and slipped it on without hesitation. No matter how many times it was washed, it always smelled like him, which was something you adored, “better?”
“Already so much better,” you agreed, bundling up in the blanket as you looked at him and sighed softly, “thank you so much.”
“What happened?” he plopped down next to you, leaving just enough space between your bodies that left you wanting more. He reached over and put his hand on your knee, giving it a gentle squeeze, “I was expecting you a long time ago.”
“I ran into a spot of trouble,” you admitted sheepishly as he raised an eye at you.
“Which was…”
“My car broke down-”
“What?!”
“My car broke down,” you whispered, wincing at the tone in his voice. You knew he wasn't mad at you, but you hated when he got upset, “its nothing really.”
“It's not - no. It's not nothing,” he took your face in his hands, his touch nothing but reverent, as he looked you over, “something could have…fuck. Where? What happened?”
“A few miles down the road,” you pointed over your shoulder as if that Would answer all of his questions, “near the bend.”
“You walked all that way?” He hung his head with a heavy sigh, “that's like two miles.”
Before you could say anything in response, Steve threw his arms around and pulled you in for a tight hug. It caught you off guard at first, having not expected the sudden hug from him but it took you only a moment to respond. You snaked your arms around his waist and let yourself melt into him. He was so warm and smelled delicious and familiar; his hugs were probably one of your favorite things in the entire world.
“It’s okay - I’m okay,” you burrowed your face into his glorious neck, breathing in the smell of his soft skin. He slowly let go of you; you immediately missed the feeling of him, “I didn’t know what else to do. It’s not like I could just call you for help and I wasn’t sure when anyone else would go by. So…that’s why I just walked over.”
“Yeah, no, I understand,” he ran a hand through his glorious hair, trying to suppress all the horrible thoughts of what could have happened. He was just glad you were alive and well and standing right in front of him, “I…I’m just glad that you’re here.”
“Me too,” you promised with a soft smile, “thanks for always being there for me.”
“I wish I could have done more,” he looked into the merrily crackling fire, unsure of whether or not he should look at you. He was afraid that if he looked too long he might just spill his entire guts out to you, “I’ll call and have your car towed to the shop. Eddie’s working tomorrow so I’m sure he’ll be able to take a look at it.”
“You don’t have to-”
“I want to,” he insisted, his tone letting you know that there was no room for objection. He touched your cheek, brushing his thumb along your soft skin before standing up and heading to the kitchen, “let me just make a few quick calls and get it sorted, yeah?”
“Thank you, Stevie,” you watched him go with soft eyes, feeling every conceivable emotion fluttering around in your belly. He never failed to make you feel so cared for and loved. You settled in and leaned closer to the fire, feeling overly tired suddenly. You were sure the cold and the long trek did that to you. You listened to him on the phone, his voice distant and far as you closed your eyes.
By the time that he came back to the living room you were already curled up in a small ball, looking toasty as ever as you snored softly. Steve couldn’t help the gentle sigh that escaped his lips; this was a view that he loved and adored and he wished he could bottle that feeling up and keep it with him forever. He grabbed a pillow off the couch and tucked it under your head as delicately as he could in order to keep you from waking up.
He considered laying down and curling up next to you, but he also didn’t want to make things weird in case you woke up suddenly. Instead he busied himself around the house to get things ready for dinner and to keep his mind off you.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
When you woke up, you were immediately enveloped by a warm, delicious smell. You clambered to your feet, keeping the warm blanket around you as you padded towards the kitchen. You stopped in your tracks when you found Steve in the kitchen; he was softly singing along to the radio as he moved around cooking whatever it was that was so delicious.
“Hi,” you whispered softly in order to keep from startling him too much. He turned around at the sound of your voice, a smile growing on his own face as he took in your sleepy form, “what’cha doing, Stevie?”
“Just finishing up dinner,” he came over to you and brushed your wild hair out of your face, “I made your favorites. Hope that’s okay.”
“I…” you looked at him with wide, soft eyes unable to convey just how much this meant to you. This and everything else he did; he was almost so good to everyone but especially you. You hesitated for a moment before leaning slightly, watching as he did the same, “I think I’m in love with you, Steve Harrington.”
“Umm…” he mouth dropped open and closed his mouth a few times, a pretty blush breaking out all over his face, “does that mean it’s okay?”
You laughed, a loud and warm sparkly sound that warmed his heart and caused him to realize the gravitas of the situation. You nodded softly before leaning in even closer so there was barely any room remaining between the two of you, “yes. It’s more than okay. Thank you.”
He gnawed on the inside of his cheek for a moment before cupping your cheek with his large, soft hand. Steve hesitated before closing the rest of the remaining gap and gently pressing his lips to yours. It was soft and barely there but it was everything; you had waited for this so long, always dreaming of this moment. And now it was here, hesitant and gentle but perfect.
Steve pulled back and looked at you with curiosity to make sure he hadn’t broken or crossed any boundaries. When he found you practically beaming at him, he couldn’t stop himself from leaning back in and kissing you again, this time with more fervor and confidence. The blanket dropped from your shoulders as you wrapped your arms around his neck and let yourself melt into his warm body. His large hands settled on your waist, and you were all consumed with the love you had for this man.
You didn’t want to break apart from him, only doing so when both of you suddenly smelled something burning. You both turned to look at the stove and found whatever it was that Steve had been cooking was nothing but a lovely shade of…black.
You exchanged surprised looks before dissolving into a fit of giggles. He reluctantly untangled his limbs from yours before hastily turning off the stove. He picked up the pot and frowned as he stuck it into the sink, “umm, I’m really sorry but I’m pretty sure I just ruined our dinner.”
You reached over and gave his shoulder a reassuring squeeze, “you didn’t ruin anything, Stevie. Trust me.”
“But…the food.”
“It’s okay,” you hated that he went through all this trouble for nothing at this point, “we’ll order pizza or Chinese or something. Baby, it’s cold outside and all I want to do is stay here with you.”
“That was terrible,” but there was a giant smile on his face and a pretty blush over his cheeks, “I wanna stay here with you too.”
“Can we just-” but you were quickly cut off by him pressing his lips to yours, stealing a few soft kisses before he pressed his forehead against yours. It was like he had been reading your mind. You looked at him sheepishly, “do that some more?”
“Yeah,” he rested his hand on the small of your back as you looked up at him sweetly, “I love you.”
“I kind of figured that much when you didn’t totally just run away when I told you,” you whispered as you brushed your fingers along his jaw, “thanks for the reassurance though. I wasn’t sure I’d ever manage to actually tell you.”
“Why did you?” he asked, “not that I’m not glad you did - I’m really glad but…yeah.”
“I dunno,” you admitted, “I guess I just realized, again, how much I love you and everything about you and all that you do and I just couldn’t not say anything. Knowing you kiss like that I’m a little sorry I didn’t say anything sooner.”
“Just think, you could have been kissing me for a long time already,” he teased gently as you groaned dramatically before he indulged you and pulled in for more kisses. You melted into him and he slowly led you to the couch before stumbling backwards and falling down with you on top of him. He wrapped his arms around your waist as you laid on his warm body, resting your head on his chest; you could hear the slow and steady beat of his heart.
And then you had a thought and lifted your head, “you hadn’t been on any dates in a long time.”
“I know.”
“Why…”
“Didn’t feel right,” he shrugged it off as though it was no big deal, “it wasn’t you. So…I didn’t want it anymore.”
“That’s…” you swallowed thickly, blinking back the tears that were already prickling at the back of your eyes, “that’s…that’s the most romantic thing anyone has ever said to me.”
“Yeah,” he tenderly brushed away the tear that had rolled down your cheek, “but it’s true. I haven’t seen you dating much either.”
“None of them were you,” you leaned into his warm, soft touch. He laughed softly, as you took his hand and laced your fingers through his, “I love you, Steve Harrington. And now that it’s out there, you’re gonna hear it all the time.”
“I hope some,” he sighed contentedly, “so are you, just so you know.”
“Good,” you whispered, “I love you.”
“I love you too, angel.”
