I like the new Shang Tsung but there's several downgrades from his MK11 version:

-no braids

-no painted nails

-no tit windows

Idk much about OOTS BUT. If Sol is shown to be able to fuck with time (Holly), could the false eclipse be Sol merging two points in time ever so briefly to make the eclipse appear?

He is a god of games, change, and autumn. In my head he was basically creating an illusion to show what it would look like a couple years in the future.

Honestly though I don't much care to explain exactly how he did it, It's Maaagic! He did it because he can do Fancy Illusion Stuff. Whatever explanation you like best, roll with it.

I'd only work out logistics if I was writing a story about Holly exploring her new godhood with Cinderheart and Midnight. Not completely out of the question, but definitely not right now.
