Sometimes as a progressive living in the south, I feel extremely abandoned by my own political party simply for being born and raised where I was. “Why don’t you move?” This is my home? And the people I love live here? I want to fix it. Not run away. And if it weren’t for all of the gerrymandering, I bet I’d be able to save my home too.
