comparing ig followers is a lil crazy to me, Ronaldo is the most followed footballers but Messi is wayyy more loved lol (just look how he was received in el salvador, how irl fans treat him like a divinity and even brazilians think he is the goat even if they have this crazy rivalry with Argentina, pr7 could never)

Gavi is called the heart of the club because he deserves it. He is who puts effort the most and you cant ignore his impact not only the players but the club itself. The way he plays; giving all his 100% on the pitch, him being a key player for the team since he was the one connecting the midfield and the defense, him always standing up for his teammates and defending the badge, him being the moral and emotional support of the team.....

Him being called the heart of the club has its reasons and i only said the ones i could remember (literally even his teammates and staff miss him, that is not normal for a 19yo to be this relied). See, being from la masia doesnt assure you this popularity, i really cant recall any of our current youngsters that can move masses with having only 1 social media and barely be active on it. He built this himself because he is just naturally likeable and stands out from the rest.

Something that you forget anon, is that all this popularity is also because he got a big demographic of people hating on him every time of the day; the media and press setting him up and lying about him (remember when tchoumeni had to call out the media who spread that lie of gavi injuring him on el clásico?), he got a NT teammate lying in his fucking face and literally saying he was the cancer of the dressingroom and alongside his journalist friend adding up to the "he is toxic and doesnt want to show up to meetings" bullshit, the spanish madridistas calling him names and disrespecting him when he was holding the mic after winning the Nations League (they hate him since supercup, they are pretry much the responsibles for making everyone hate on him), literally every casual thinks that Gavi is a thug that has 0 football abilities and he is a bad person because he gets lots of yellow cards, heck even you got "culers" calling his ACL a blessing because the team had decent games against porto and atleti (spoiler, they regretted his injury after the el clásico disasterclass). People opened their fucking eyes and realized how importsnt gavi was AFTER an ACL + meniscus and a el clásico disasterclass. Dont you see how fucking deranged people can be to him and how fucked his PR is? Do you see what im trying to say? Obviously Pedri doesnt deserve to receive any type of hate and much less because of something he cant control like injuries, but lets not pretend that Gavi doesnt receive much worse feedback when he does his job (and he does it perfectly, but they are just braindead to have footy knowledge). Seems that Gavi receiving so much love even after constantly eating shit from the media and haters triggers you or something, its not the first time i see these type of comments. Boy is 19yo and suffered one of the worst injuries a footballer can have due the incompetitiveness of his coach, it shouldnt be surpring why people miss him and why does he get love and even more when his teammates are absolutely nothing without him

Preach!!! It's always been weird to me how people see him get as much hate and harassment for no reason and still begrudge him for the support he gets like what do you want from him? To just be hated and get no love in return? No teenager has ever been treated as poorly as he was last year like it was hell. He was insulted to HIS FACE while celebrating his first international trophy like it doesn't get worse than that and all because he loves the club as much as he does and you're mad people show him love to support him that's just insane to me and feels evil spirited. He deserves all the support in the world actually just to balance out the amount of hate he gets. And it's not like people love him for no reason, he literally earned it twice over.

hi. I'm sorry for what im about to say, but i just need to let this go somewhere, otherwise imma explode. i can't talk to most of my friends right now, and i don't wanna bother anyone.

that's hypocritical of me since im coming here to bother you... and that's what im sorry about the most, but since you answered my previous ask with the most gentle treatment ive been given in days, here's me again.

im in the fandom for almost a year now. it's still difficult for me to write for everlark, specially following canon because they mean a lot to me, and im always afraid that im doing it the wrong way. I've been working on a longfic since february and there was a time where I was SO GENUINELY PROUD AND EXCITED about how i was writing, but i can't feel that anymore.

i can't feel that with anything i write. and when i do, or at least have some hope that someone will read it... nothing. not even my friends, the ones who pressured me to post it earlier than i planned in the first place. and now i feel like i have nothing, since nobody reads my thg shit and i pretty much stopped writing for other fandoms.

as a brazilian i kinda don't have the right to expect much, bc people who read everlark in portuguese nowdays are basically extinct and im not exactly using the best plataforms... but i still do. and that's making me sick.

i had to deactivate my twitter account this week because some family stuff, and i used to post a lot of my writings there. i created a new one, but now i have lost all of the lil reach i had, and i can't find most of my mutuals. my friends still couldn't care less about my writing.

i feel like im a bad author. not because my writing sucks or because I can't build storylines. i can, and feel like i do that decently. what i mean is that... nobodys reading what i put into the world. and what's the sense in all writings, if not make others feel so comforted and welcomed by our stories as we do, as authors?

i genuinely feel like getting out of twitter for good, because being there is not nice anymore. not when i see all people that promised me they would read my fics tweeting all day about all kinds of subjects and leaving me on read on dms. not when i post drabbles and have to delete them hours later because nobody sees or interacts w it.

at the same time, i don't know how to use tumblr. and every other part of my life is falling apart.

im sorry, again. but that's what I feel right now and i guess I just wanted someone to listen and comfort me, since my two other happiness sources are fictional. ignore that if you want. please, don't answer it because you feel like it's the polite thing to do or because you feel like you have to. you don't.

first of all i’m sorry that you’re feeling so down, i wish there was something i could do to help you more than just replying to this ask - so please remember that my messages are always open (i won’t take offence if you’d rather communicate through my inbox to keep ur anonymity of course) if you wanted to talk a little more. you must be hurting pretty bad if you feel like you can’t talk to your friends about it :(

and second of all, please don’t feel so discouraged that you stop with your writing. i really don’t read multi-chapter fics myself (i don’t even have an AO3 account if you’d believe it or not) so i sometimes feel a little guilty that i don’t do enough to support fic writers, who give up so much of their time to give other people some enjoyment and a little bit of escape. if you’d like to share the name or link etc of your fic with me i’d be more than happy to post it on my blog if you thought that would help any.

as for your troubles with writing in your native language, i can only imagine how frustrating that would feel for you. i wonder if anyone in the fandom would be able to help in the way of translation or something in order to help you in that respect? sadly i don’t speak portuguese, so i doubt i’d be any use on this one :(

and honestly i only have twitter for personal use so i’m not any help there but is there perhaps a way to reactivate your account? i wasn’t so sure but according to google you can get a deactivated account back within 30 days, if that would be in any use for reconnecting with your followers on there.

and lastly i hope you keep the faith in the longfic you’ve been writing. it would be terribly sad for you to lose all that you’ve worked on since february. that being said, if you feel like it’s giving you so much stress and just feeling fruitless it’s also okay to take a break and step back for a little while. no one will feel disappointed and you certainly shouldn’t feel that way about yourself. tumblr is sort of a pain in the ass to use i won’t deny it, but there are some amazing people and writers on here who i’m sure would be willing to help you out.

please don’t be a stranger if you need to rant again, and i hope any of what i’ve said is at least a little bit useful for you 😊

the first major snowfall in ages finally hit nyc recently and all im imaging is the Polycule attaching snowboards and the such to the back of simons van and them just being happy with snow day activities

oof, this ask is from so many months ago, i'm so sorry. i was very busy. i'm also not sure how great my answer will be because i'm a whole ass brazilian so i have no idea what snow day activies are, but i will try anyway

so, major advantages: meliorn has magic and maia is a werewolf and if i'm not mistaken it's said or implied that werewolves have a higher core body temperature than humans. or maybe i made that up, but it's canon for me

major disadvantages: raphael and simon are vampires, which means that technically they are kind of "cold-blooded" creatures? i mean they would still have other important temperature regulating mechanisms such as mitochrondrial heat production and muscle contraction, but they basically don't have a heartbeat/blood flow/arguably blood at all, which is a major way of regulating core temperature, and canonically their skin feels pretty cold, so like. they probably are more suscetible to temperature changes is what i'm saying (i'm mostly going off this source [link] for this. i'm already overthinking this answer good job me)

plus i am once again saying that raphael is from guadalajara which means that like me he is used to Worm Temperchoores, like, WAY warmer than NYC's, and he grew up without pretty much any kind of snow at all. and sure he's lived in NYC for years so he's SOMEWHAT used to the cold but he still spent his formative years in guadalajara, so like. he fucking hates the cold, is my point

but back to major advantages: meliorn and magic! which means they can do something about it. don't ask me what, but i'm sure they can do Something. i mean i'm sure to some extent the downworld has already figured out a solution to this problem cuz while it might not kill them (since they're immortal) it is very uncomfortable and probably makes them slower, which is a disadvantage to say the least. plus raphael has magnus who knows that raphael is a grumpy ass in the cold. also i think java is similarly hot so magnus Gets It, but idk what the temperatures usually are in jakarta

anyway my point is that magnus probably got some coats/vests/blankets spelled for his boy so they can keep him toasty (since they are otherwise kinda useless for vampires since they rely on trapping body heat and vampires don't have any) and vampires in general probably have access to that kinda stuff, but still, rapha gets grumpy and his face is still cold and everything is just awful and he doesn't understand how gringos do it. his complaints fly for about 2 days before the New Yorker Squad™ (particularly simon and maia, who drag clary and inevitably everyone else is there) decides that they've had enough of this and that raphael will learn how to enjoy the snow

he is like "i am not willingly going into the snow! you don't understand, i'm a vampire, i won't get back my body heat the way you do". simon: "i literally am also a vampire". raphael: "you're just a fledgeling, you wouldn't understand" "i've been a vampire for like, ten years!" "seven" "same thing" "it's so not the-" "i have gone through enough winters to be able to understand, and you, sir, are going to learn to enjoy the snow. have you EVER even made a snow angel?" "no" "well this changes today"

he literally has no excuse because meliorn has this super sweet spell that keeps him from losing heat so like. he doesn't even need a coat (he's still wearing it and preferably also a scarf and gloves because he is, first and foremost, dramatic) so he is forced to have a day off and go play in the snow, woe is him

(he tells the clan that should they need anything they should ring him, but they're like "nah simon has promised us pictures of you in the snow, we can handle ourselves" and it's not like raphael is too busy these days, really)

anyway! they have fun. simon strikes me as the winter lover kind of person altho really i think he enjoys all seasons in their own way, but like... hot chocolate and scarves and snow fights, yes? and while i think maia might prefer warmer temperatures she can double enjoy herself in the snow now that she's a werewolf because she gets less cold and like, damn, tell me that being a wolf and jumping headfirst into a pile of snow wouldn't be fun. you can't, unless you're a bad taste bitch

i also think maia is the building snow forts kind of gal because, idk, she just looks that way. and sure she's excited about kicking everyone's asses during snowball fight but FIRST she needs to have a full fort complete with towers and windows for her to throw snowballs from and shit

rapha is the one that helps her build it the most cuz he likes the motions and besides it is a little less energetic than whatever it is that the rest of these wackos are doing. again izzy didn't get any chances to play in the snow either so naturally clary is dragging her around from snow activity to snow activity and running around everywhere and holy shit they have so much energy. simon is there as well naturally and eventually they make it their goal in life to ruin maia's and rapha's fort, which ends up kickstarting the mandatory snowball fight. even tho maia only has a half complete fort

(eventually when everyone has left maia and rapha will come back and finish the fort. it's the principle of the thing. raphael also wants to build an igloo or some shit and maia rolls her eyes but actually i can see him being into building snow things? it's just soothing and nice and quiet and he can pretend there's Elegance and Finesse to it)

and meliorn is just watching them curiously the whole time because of course they know snow but they dont really know about Snow Activities these funky little non-seelies dedicate themselves too. i feel like the seelies have their own snow activities, maybe like, festivals? dances with the snowfall and games to welcome the change in the environment, that sort of thing. but they are nothing like snow angels ("it doesn't look like an angel in the slightest, just like you kept moving your legs and arms in the snow" "thats what it is" "right, so...?") or snowmen ("also doesn't look like a man" "meliorn we aren't exactly artists") or snow fights (altho that one they can appreciate) and they're really interested in like participating even though they dont understand and everyone has to keep telling them that it's Not That Deep and izzy is so amused she just kisses them one billion times

eventually they start doing it just to get more of those laugh-filled kisses of hers

also at least one of them, probably izzy of rapha or meliorn since they are the snow ignorant ones of the group, is absolutely horrible at making snowmen. probably izzy tbh because shadowhunters dont exactly have a knack for these things. like clary's snowman is all artistic and simon's is fun and creative, maia's is pretty, raphael's and meliorn's look like the Platonic Ideal Of A Snowman, and izzy's looks like A Pile Of Dirt. clary giggles at it for an embarrassing amount of time, which inevitably leads to izzy taking the snow from her snowman to throw snowballs at clary and triggering a new snowfight

and then they have some soup inside and cuddle under a blanket as they fight over what they should watch and all is well with the world

if its okay can i ask you a question about turkey/people from turkey, its the term 'racializated' used there? its something uhm that is taked into consideration there? let me explain you, im from argentina, my mom is a black brazilian women and my dad just like i dont know 70% of my class is what people from usa for example call 'brown' latinos, like dilan for example of skam es, i and many poc people call those people instead of 'brown', 'racializated' many of them feel and me included tbh+ 1/

+feel the term is not really correct or many friends feel uncomfortable with it so they rated 'racializated', im not sure if you speak spanish there is this person @/haluami they is a indigenous person who wrote very good texts about this topic there is one about racializated people, and basically society put you down because of your skin color, traits, and / or ethnicity, so i can't help but wonder if thats the case of yousef, but im not turkish so i understand concepts change+ 2/

+depends on the country, culture, etc i understand all of that, so i have a lot of doubts because i dont want to break the privacy of course of the actor of yousef but i wonder if the character 'take' stuff about him or if they are statments in the show itself, i dont know, the poc term itself have some stuff people agree or not, its all a very complicated situation i still believe the show treatment to non-white males is bad i dont know but i will hear and see others opinion the 'white washing'

well first of all, I want to say that I’m not an expert on these issues, but I also think that I can answer your questions to some extent, at least I will try my best. and I hope I don’t offend anyone, please call me out if I do so (that’s for my fellow citizens of turkey) so here I go: (sorry it turned out to be so long)

1- I haven’t heard the term “racialization” before, so I looked it up and I realized that I know what that is, just I wasn't familiar with its name. From what I get, it means ascribing stereotypes on people about their races. So if that’s what you mean, then sure, we have this in turkey unfortunately. but i’m not an expert on sociology and other sciences regarding this topic, so any other Turkish person could heard this term, just not me.

2- Turkey is an ethnically rich country, I don't know if you know the historical developments but this is the shortest way to address this, we have a lot of different cultures here, but not as much as the times before the WW1. Nowadays, there are Turkish, Kurdish, Armenian, a small amount of Rum (orthodox christians whose descendants are from the Byzantine Empire), Laz (similarly their descendants are from the Pontus Rum Empire which was located in the northern region of Turkey, but they are mostly Turkish nationalist muslims rn) people and other small communities of different cultures. well I'm rambling lol :))))

3-well some of these people accept these “racialized” prejudices when they are not offensive (from what I get at least) for example some of Laz people accept that most of the Laz people have some familiar facial features or some Kurdish people joke about how their uncle/aunt is younger than them due to their family structure etc. but mostly this racialization occurs in an offensive way like calling Kurdish people terrorists (bc of PKK, a Kurdish (terrorist) military group -- this is a way too controversial topic, so I won’t be mentioning this again, I don’t want to talk about this, sorry) or denying Armenian Genocide (again, this is a controversial topic too and interestingly recent although this issue regards the events during and after WW1) so to answer your question, yes there is racialization in turkey.

4- about yousef: well I watched sana season on February 2019 so I can’t remember all the details about him being from Turkey. I just remember he went to Turkey at the end of the season and I kinda remember that he wasn’t a muslim although his family practiced Islam, but I’m not so sure so I’ll just assume I remember correctly.

5- Yousef isn’t a man of color. there are darker skinned Turkish people for sure but having a lighter skinned Turkish actor to play a Turkish character is NOT white washing. because there are lighter skinned Turkish people too. I don’t really know what comes to mind when you (I mean non-Turkish people) think about a Turkish person, but from my perspective, I can’t really draw an average Turkish person for you. there are caucasian looking Turkish people, there are mongloid looking Turkish people, heck there are afro-Turkish people too. So, yep Yousef is not white-washed. He’s not even white. AND I certainly call that he’s too white to be considered as moc. but I’m not an expert, just an ordinary Turkish woman.

6- Most recently, Turkish youth tend to leave practicing Islam and instead become atheist or deist or agnostic. I can guess why, though I’m not sure if I should say it but you can search it from google, pretty sure you can find the answer :) So, Yousef being an atheist/not Muslim is a really good rep for Turkish youth bc I’m sure that most people assume Turkish people are %99.9 faithful muslims.

7- However, I can assure you that Yousef does not reflect any racialization happening in Turkey. I wouldn’t want a Norwegian internet show talking about these issues too, but I would really like if Druck (German SKAM) dwelled upon these issues since there is a big Turkish community (I’m talking about a near million in number, maybe more) and there are huge issues of/regarding Turkish people that could be reflected in national tv, and I would like to see a more politically active/woke Turkish character (in a Jonas sense) in Druck (because since 2012-2013, the amounts of politically active youth is increasing more than ever, bc what’s happening rn in Turkey -again, you can just take a look in Turkish news- ) but assuming from the appearance of Ismail Inci (new gen Druck character) this is not the case, one can only hope for deeper (by deep, I mean not just this goofy guy who only talks about kebab or girls or Turkish/German rap) Turkish characters though :(

8- I don’t know much about the actor but he sounded fluent in Norwegian so I can assume that 1) he was born in Norway or 2) they moved to Norway when he was younger. and from that, I can guess that he’s not familiar to racialization as much as a Turkish person living in Turkey and that could be the huge reason why Julie and the crew didn’t give Yousef a chance to dwell upon these.

9- and I know I told you this, but if someone else tries to read this whole thing, Yousef is not the Turkish version of the name, it’s Yusuf (both u’s are read staccato) and I don’t know why his name is Yousef instead of Yusuf.

wow, I didn’t expect this to be a giant, but I hope I answered your questions. and I’m not a Spanish speaker (although I want to learn but my only source is Duolingo bc I'm broke) I won’t be able to follow your blog recommendation. what are some things you think magnus would do to feel close to his culture/roots? one thing my mother (who is also south east asian) does is speak her local dialect with her siblings, but i imagine the language will have evolved over the years, and he wouldn’t find speakers who speak it in the same way as him (if that makes sense?)

it makes a lot of sense! and i definitely agree. i think about that all the time, how the language magnus (and warlocks in general) was raised in doesn't exist anymore. and in a way he almost envies warlocks who speak now-dead languages (like not really but there's that thought sometimes) because at least they get to keep them as they were? but with magnus he has to see his language slowly become something else, something that isn't his and that he doesn't follow because he's not at the heart of it while it changes, and it's like it slips through his fingers and is stolen away, you know? like obviously language is constantly changing and there's nothing wrong with that, but esp with magnus having little contact with speakers of his mother tongue, he's not even aware of the changes until he says something and ppl look at him weird or straight up don't understand him

and current indonesian has many words that were borrowed from english, dutch, and portuguese (source: im studying it - not because of magnus, i just heard it on a video and thought it was so beautiful and im a slut for languages - and it's easy to tell) because of colonization, so that in particular is probably what hurts the most. seeing his language slowly be morphed by the language of the ppl who claimed his land, killed and oppressed his people, tried to destroy his culture... it really fucking hurts. especially dutch, as it was his stepfather's language

so yeah he doesn't get to use his language to feel close to his culture anymore and let me tell you that really fucking breaks my heart because your language is who you are, it's how you think, it literally shapes your brain physically. even if you're fluent in other languages, it's a part of you. i can't imagine living in a world where brazilian portuguese as i know it no longer exists except for me. even the idea of like, moving to p*rtugal and speaking their portuguese instead hurts me and makes me really uneasy. so like this is such a huge loss and makes him feel even more like he's being stolen away, you know?

as for what i think he does to feel closer to his culture!

food. yes i've said it a thousand times before and ur probably sick to death of hearing it but what can i say, it's true. especially living in the US like disgusting sometimes i hear about the "food" my US american friends eat and im just like damn yall live like this? and not just that but US americans (and most europeans) really don't.... understand and value food in the way that other cultures do. like i think it might be the individualism inherently entrenched into most of their cultures but to me food is love and food is family, its meanings are so deep and they... don't really understand that. so keeping close to his food is important. and with magic he can even get his ingredients exactly as they used to grow there, tasting exactly the same, so he does get to keep his food

flowers. I'll forever be a slut for magnus and jasmines and the hc that they remind him of his mom? i mean jasmines are even indonesia's official national flower and it matters a lot for indonesian cultures as a whole (same source). so the smell of jasmines, growing jasmines, jasmine tea... it makes him feel like he can keep a part of her with him

tea. i know this technically falls into food but i think tea is special for him in a way that i can't really explain (possibly because i don't really like tea. or coffee for that matter which brazilians and latinos as a whole are all sluts for) because it has its own ritual, you know? the way it's made and drank, the way it's served, everything about it is very important culturally. i think it's no coincidence that magnus was drinking tea when he was being plagued by memories of his stepfather. like usually he goes for alcohol when he needs support, so why tea? i think tea provides him a comfort alcohol can't because it makes him feel close to his roots

religion/spirituality. ok admittedly i can't say a lot about this because i never identified with my family's religion and i'm far from being an expert in Hinduism or Islam, which are the two most likely religions for him to have been raised in, so jdndidnd. but since sh lore doesn't exist in Islam and magnus practices magic, Magnus couldn't be a Muslim, so i think this would be specific for the case of him being Hindu, or having an indigenous javanese religion, according to my muslim friends

but like. religious practices are definitely important community builders and carry super important cultural meanings. so i think this is another way. i know that i have quite a few hindu friends and followers, so if any of y'all want to add into this with more detail, i'd be delighted, and you're definitely all invited to weight in.

another important detail is that if magnus is hindu that adds even more layers to his relationship with flowers, as they are extremely important, especially for indonesian/balinese hindu people

music! again magic helps because with memory magic he can literally bring the sounds of the music he was raised listening to back to life, but like, traditional music styles always live on. so i think singing songs from his childhood definitely helps as well. actually, well, i think art in general falls here

obviously, visiting, since java and its culture are far from dead. it's changed, yes, and i think in that sense it's bittersweet, but there's a lot about it that still feels like home to him, not to mention indonesia still has quite a few traditional communities (although, from what i've seen, most of those are in bali, not java, and with magnus having been raised specifically in jakarta that makes it even more complicated, but also.... previously colonized cities are a weird thing. i live in the biggest city in the whole of south america and there are still plenty of traditional indigenous communities right inside the city. but i can't speak for jakarta) so he could also visit those places. and just like being in a place where everyone (or ok, almost everyone) is javanese? where so many of the small cultural things in everyday life are still present? you know? like the air feels different, it's in the way people move, gesticulate, speak (regardless of language), interact, eat. it feels like home in a way nowhere else can't and it makes him relax and feel so much more like himself, just by being there

and okay that's what i have. take this with a grain of salt as i'm latin american, not south east asian, so most of what i've said here is based on research i've done before for other asks + things i've heard from my SE Asian friends + more generic experiences with being a third worlder/previously colonized. thank you so much for that, i really loved this ask!

Zine pages

-Pact Coffee

I have been very cautious with time for this project so I decided to make the last pages all together and to really try and make them link especially as due to the unique way this zine will be folded these pages will all line up. So to do this the first thing I did was page planning, before starting these page sketches I knew that the last pages have to include some information on their brazilian farms and also a bit about the nature while making it artsy as that's the whole idea behind the zine. I also wanted to get the zine complete so I could then work on the poster and other products for Pact.

Just more page plans before starting to create it, from this i realised I wanted three page to flow together and be connected with illustrations, These illustrations will link with the main theme of the zine and the other page before this will be a bit about the farmers.

Before I can begin any art work or designing I have to do some more research into the farmers of brazil that work for pact and then also the animals and vegetation that brazil is known for.

The animals I looked at to maybe use where; Jaguarundi, Rhea, Tapir, Capuchin, capybara, Bush Dog, Pink Dolphin, yellow armadillo, maned wolf, and toco toucan. I looked at more of these animals than I needed to because Im not sure which ones I will use yet so will have to look more into them and what photos of them are available to use as references.

Using some information on Pacts website and free photos from Pexels I was able to start creating the other pages. I also wanted to mess around with typography.

This the design I started with, I didn't like how the text was displayed I also found it quite boring and not very visually pleasing so I started experimenting and creating some graphic art for a toucan.

I really liked this however I wanted to make it work vertically so redesigned it and also added leafs to it to make it fit in with other designs on the zine. I used this along with a mix of digital and analogue drawing of a toucan.

I originally made this not knowing if it will be included as I wasn't 100% positive on how it looked as a piece but I then played around more and added it to this new page design along with other illustrations and vectors.

This is the final piece I came up with to include in the zine I also designed with intentions of being a poster or other product for pact on its own.

This is how the page spread ended, I did try to use more professional and modern fonts but I personally felt it didn't really fit the playfulness of the zine.

Looking back these two pages I realised I wasn't pleased With how they looked. I didn't feel confident with the way I had left them so resisted my page plans and decided I wanted to make the design more clean and smooth. I really disliked The pink and it works on the left side but with the text its quite distracting and the hand written marker font doesn't really portray the information as serious so I decided to try and be more experimental.

My first change was toning down the colour on the toucan mini poster/art page. I was playing around with the saturation and hue however couldn't really dim the original colours to a nice shade that I felt comfortable with. So i decided to completely change it all and have some of the colours bleed through I really liked the earthy tones and it reminded me of coffee colours so I felt it was very fitting.

I then worked on creating the next page I found that it was much easier to do now that they weren't a double page. I decided to get rid of the coffee stain because I didn't want to lean back into the more messy side and I wanted the text to be much clearer. I got all of my text from Pacts website along with other sources for information about the bird, along with my own script.

Im very pleased with the changes and development of these two pages and feel much more confident with the final design. I am critical of the fact I trimmed the centre headings font however it is only there for aesthetic and doesn't really take away attention from the rest of the zine.

Leap of Faith Chapter 1

Summary: In order to decode a dead language for King, Host helps Marvin, Roman, Eric, and Magnum track down inscriptions. So they go to South America where they meet their guide: Illinois. In a story of adventure, treasure, and awkward first meetings.

A/N: I am fluent in Spanish, unfortunately not in Portuguese. However, if any of the Spanish or Portuguese is wrong, please tell me. This story gave me a lot of trouble and not for Spanish so I hope you guys like it.

Chapter 1: Little Luck on our Side

“Thanks again,” Ethan told Marvin as he raced out of the magician’s cozy little library. A new bracelet around the younger superhero’s wrist, both runes from Marvin and an inscription from the Host etched into the metal.

“Nah problem,” Marvin smiled. “Don’t be afraid ta tell us if ye find anything.”

Walking him out, Marvin watched him disappear before his very eyes, the magic already kicking in to amplify Ethan’s normal camouflage powers and hide him from even the most powerful scrying spell even the Host had.

Confident that Ethan was as safe as he could be, Marvin went looking for two people that he knew were still in the base. He walked into the lobby room and smiled when he still saw Eric and Roman with Henrik and Randall.

“Who’s got a free evenin’ or twelve?” Marvin asked. “Roman, it’s already been decided, you’re coming with.”

“Okay,” Roman threw his hands up. “For what?”

“I’m going on an adventure, and you’d never forgive me if I didn’t take you,” Marvin answered.

“You’re right, when do we leave?” Roman unsheathed his sword.

“Marvin and Roman should take Eric with them,” the Host announced his presence, standing in the doorway behind Marvin.

“Why?” Randall and Marvin asked at almost the same time. Marvin was a little more hostile.

“Randall and Henrik are about to be needed when Silver comes back with Chase,” the Host told them. Henrik sprung up and started running towards the clinic.

“I’m not bringin’ ‘im inta muggy jungle an’ watch him catch malaria,” Marvin argued.

“Jungle?” Roman shouted in excitement. “Do I get to be a swashbuckling explorer?”

“Sure, why not?” Marvin glanced back at him before turning back to glare at Host. “He’s not comin’ with, he’s safe here.”

One of the Host’s eyebrows shot up, making his already slightly blood-soaked bandages become a little more red.

“Well he’s not safer in giant, dangerous mosquito country!” Marvin shouted at him.

“Would Eric like to go with the Magician and the Prince?” Host asked, looking almost through Marvin to stare at Eric, still behind the magician. “He has greatly wished to become a hero, and has worked hard for it, but has never accompanied any of the heroes on an away mission.”

“I, uh,” Eric began before faltering.

“He does your dirty work enough,” Marvin jabbed back.

“Bringing the Host’s supplies from the store room barely qualifies as something Eric would have done before he was an apprentice, even Marvin has brought the Host paper during his long nights.” The Host was just staring in their direction, making it unclear exactly who he was looking at.

“Um,” Eric said quietly, Marvin and Host almost missed it in the commotion of their argument. “I want to go.”

Marvin looked over at Eric, one half concerned, and the other a touch annoyed. But when Eric started to look disheartened, the magician groaned. “Alright, alright.”

He turned to the Host, “But yah need ta help make sure he doesn’t die. I think he’d fair about as well as Robbie would.”

The Host took out a pin, it was an old-looking metallic star. “The Host has already come prepared. There will be a guide at your location. This pin will function as a charm to keep any misfortune from Eric’s person, and as a dowsing rod for Marvin to find their guide’s location.”

Marvin walked over, inspecting the pin. The thing was magical, but the magic was hard to read. “What enchantments does it have?”

“Residuals of someone’s aura,” the Host answered. “The Host merely kept it, just in case he or the other heroes would have need of it. The Host’s powers drop off at a certain distance.”

“Then why not come with us?” Marvin grilled.

“Without the good doctor the Host would not last long against such elements, and in an environment such as the Amazon. Even with the doctor, medical aid would be difficult for him to receive.” The Host sighed. “Otherwise he would be delighted to join the Heroes. There are many places he had wanted to visit before he became the Host, but now such travel is no longer possible.”

The seer frowned, his hands tightening into fists. But he visibly forced them to straighten out, smiling at Marvin, “But such things are not good for the Host to dwell on, and he knows it. So he must bid the heroes well on their journeys.”

“Thanks,” Marvin sighed. “Keep the base safe while we’re gone.”

“That is the Host’s job,” the Host’s smile got brighter. “He will be in his library when you all return. The heroes should check in on what King will need.”

“Thanks mom, don’t need a step by step,” Marvin dismissed. “Take care of yerself or else I’ll have both the docs jumpin’ down my throat.”

The Host just smiled, and then put his hands into his pockets and walked away. Letting the trio go and find King in his room after some quick goodbyes.

“King you got anything for us?” Roman burst into King’s room, the hero jumping, the book in his hand dropping to the floor.

“Haven’t you ever heard of knocking?” King snapped.

“Geez,” Roman chuckled. “You’d think you were jerking off with a reaction like that.”

“Princey, I have power over your destination, I can spit you out in the middle of a commando hideout,” King warned.

“Ooh,” Roman grinned. “That sounds like fun.”

King rolled his eyes, “Sure, Princey, you do you.”

“Brazilian gangs aside,” Marvin cut in. “I’d like the map as is, thank ye very much.”

“Sure,” King smiled, twisting around in his chair to look at all three of them. “So you’re heading off to the Amazon?”

“Anythin’ more on those inscriptions before we head out? Marvin asked hopefully. “If we knew more about that temple we might be ready fer traps.”

“Oh yeah,” King rolled his eyes, “making real progress. You all may as well be asking me to translate a dead language with nothing but the equivalent of cocktail napkin addresses and an outdated phone book.”

Then he turned to Marvin, “Oh wait.”

“I’m surprised a kid like you even knows what a phone book is,” Marvin jabbed back.

“Ha, ha,” King kicked his feet up, “folder’s on the bed. Don’t know where this language comes from but the farthest reach back I can get is to a couple immigrants from Manaus I was telling you about. They have to have something in that area of the jungle. Try to find someone who speaks Portuguese or one of the local dialects.”

“Host got us a guide,” Roman added.

“Oh, good,” King was spinning his pen in his hands.

“Yeah, so the map will take us to it?” Marvin asked, taking out a couple pages of notes and diagrams in King’s handwriting. Complete with information on local animals that they probably didn’t need but King had gone on about it for about three pages and Marvin hadn’t been impatient enough to stop him at the time.

“Should narrow down the area,” King warned, watching Roman and Eric. “Never been there myself, by my sources do point to the language coming from there.”

“But it’s not Portuguese?” Marvin asked.

“No, it predates Spanish and Portuguese conquest in the area,” King explained. “Which is probably why we can’t find records, they probably labelled it as demon worship and burned anything that detailed it.”

“Is it?” Eric asked, more than a little nervous.

“Most likely,” King shrugged, “I’d be surprised if it wasn’t. I mean the conquistadors did a lot of awful things, but this time burning the demon temple was probably a good call. I mean, a broken clock is right at least twice a day.”

“Well, good luck, unless yeh want ta come with,” Marvin offer.”I mean, yah already know Portuguese.”

King flipping through another old-looking book, this one was written in French. “No, the park needs me too much, I can barely spare the couple hours I have to work on these.”

“Too bad,” Roman sighed. “You’d have fun.”

King smiled sadly, shrugged, “Maybe some other time.”

“G-Good luck,” Eric told him.

“Thanks kid, have fun, use a lot of bug spray,” King smiled at him. “Don’t jump into a white van.”

Eric nodded, looking a little excited.

“Okay,” Marvin decided. “Let’s go before any of the villains can stop us.”

Eric smiled and began shaking his fists up and down, which got a smile from everyone in the room.

King smiled as he watched them leave to go and pack their bags.

her mother , marcia almeda , was a recent graduate from secondary school who packed a backpack and went traveling !! before long tho she ended up knocked up by another backpacker , this one american , while they were having a fling in sydney ( hence sofie’s middle name lmao @ her mom’s humor ) . she flew back home when she found out & never told sofie’s father oops !! so marcia had sofie at home in recife just before her nineteenth birthday , and marcia was enthralled w little sofie . ofc she inherited her mother’s beauty ( i hc marcia looks like alessandra ambrosio bc hello ! ) & little sofie lived a happy early childhood life in her grandparents’ home in recife.

brazil isn’t the safest of countries & marcia didn’t want the same dangers she experienced growing up for her young daughter , so around sofie’s eighth birthday , her & her mother packed up and went on a ‘ trip ’ to new york city . joke’s on sofie , though - it wasn’t actually a trip , but rly they were trying to move there to find sofie’s father to confirm his paternity and get sofie american citizenship . it was proving more difficult than she thought , & marcia was quickly running out of money . with a face like hers , though , making money wasn’t too difficult , but it was time consuming . marcia found herself escorting older men in order to pay the bills , all the while leaving little sofie to fend for herself . some of her earliest memories are of strange men in their tiny apartment & sofie trying to block out their conversations with her lil cassette player hiding in the corner of her room . eventually , marcia was able to contact the father & they set up a meeting . sofie had gotten her hopes up that she would finally have a dad ( she got dressed up in her sunday best & everything bc reuniting her dad was a BIG deal ) , but the meeting ended up being a quick exchange of words , a mouth swab and a couple signatures . sofie never even learned his name , & this queued up a lifetime of daddy issues & distrust of men !!

while marcia was able to stay in america much longer than she was legally supposed to , eventually she was facing deportation , which meant lil sofie , with her citizenship finally confirmed , was put into the hands of her father who sent off to an american boarding school in new york without even contacting her . she would spend the summers in brazil with her mother or , as she got older , couch - surfing with different friends throughout the months . she started growing apart from her mother as she aged since she wasn’t going home every summer since she didn’t rly feel any connection to brazil . her grandfather had passed away & she only has faint memories grandmother , plus the city wasn’t at all familiar to her & she wasn’t practicing her portuguese after her mother returned to brazil .

through it all , music was proving to be the one constant in her life she could use to escape from reality . she had never done any training or classes , but she just liked singing along to whatever was on the radio & practicing on her own . she also found a passion for writing poetry which she later would realize was compatible with music . she would spend HOURS in the school library working on garage band lmfao bc she couldn’t afford her own laptop to produce music & her dad sent just enough money as he was legally supposed to . but she worked her lil tushy off & applied to a music academy in nyc & was rejected the first year ( DEVASTATING when mixed with her impostor syndrome & daddy issues ) but she practiced more & more & edned up getting accepted the next year . here , she worked on her vocal skills & music production , & started accumulating her own music & selling songs to music producers on the side for some ca$h money .

by the time she was 16 the state decided she was old / mature enough to live on her own so she got a TINY lil studio apartment in harlem where she’d grown up with her mum & she had friends who she’d grown up with . while it wasn’t the safest neighbourhood statistically sofie felt safe & just like one of the neighbourhood kids . it was the first time she genuinely felt like she belonged .

she was accepted on full scholarship to nyu & majored in music composition & vocal performance where she started finally feeling secure in herself & released her own music on soundcloud , quickly amassing a following & becoming an ‘ up & coming ‘ artist !! she was contacted by a scooter braun type guy who was interested in taking her on under his management so she dropped out of uni in her 2nd year ( bc tbh her grades in anything other than her music classes were v subpar ) . soon enough producers wanted to work with her & she was making enough that she didn’t have to sell her songs which she hated doing but had to pay the bills u know . oh & her vc is billie eilish bc ofc shes my queen go stream when we all fall asleep where do we go on spotify u won’t be disappointed

she also started getting into the partying scene here yikes !! it was a method for her to numb all her pain from her past & impostor syndrome & drown all that out in pills or tequila . it rly wasn’t healthy bc of how she would binge for a weekend then try to stay sober throughout the week but failing by about wednesday when she started to feel hollow . she wasn’t gonna be a one hit wonder & her mom sure as hell didn’t go through all that trouble just for sofie to be a nobody addict !! so she kept it together enough to start making big bucks & well ……. here she is :~)

sofie blames it on her brazilian heritage but this bitch loves a party !! like shes the one who gets happy drunk at the pre then is the first on the dance floor then later falls out of the club & into some rando’s bed !! in the back of her mind she knows her drug & alcohol use is self - destructive but she figures shes allowed to let loose sometimes ( even if that ends up being most nights ) ; rly she’s just in denial bc she doesn’t want to change her ways & lose her identity !!

so a bunch of people are talking about how the national library, the azhar library, and a cultural center in palestine has been destroyed, and worse, it was deliberately targeted for destruction by israel, and if you cared about the notre dame but not this then youre a piece of shit white supremacist etc etc

....okay.

first of all, i cannot find a single reliable source that the library has been destroyed. i found a tweet from the 6th, but no news articles. and google, as helpful as ever in aiding genocide, really wants me to read what israellycool has to say on the matter, as no matter how many different search terms i use, that shitty blog is either the first or one of the first results. no i will not link it, go find it for yourself if youre that curious, but im sure if you tried to fact check this at all you already saw that childish fascist screed already.

secondly, imperialists have always targeted centers of learning and information storage. massively important cultural artifacts for all of humanity were lost during the iraq war, and they were not ‘lost’ so much as the US deliberately rounded up librarians and intellectuals and murdered them and then bombed museums and libraries, a MASSIVE geneva convention violation. i remember hearing about that growing up just a few miles outside of NYC in a NJ suburb and i remember losing all sympathy for american soldiers who got themselves blown up in a war that was more about forcing a people to submit to US will than anything else. (yes, including oil.)

what is the point of all this?

i had very complicated feelings abt the notre dame fire, mostly because i hate france, i hate europeans, and i hate white people, but notre dame was not built using colonial money, and the very original building was connected to an antisemitic pogram but it had already happened hundreds of years before the present day notre dame construction. i saw some spicy takes like ‘well even if the notre dame wasnt funded by colonialism, everything in europe before the slave trade was made from jewish capital!’ which was like, oh, so we’re all medieval scholars now? bc thats not even a little bit goddamn true.

and even if it were, there is something that truly angers me about all of these hot takes. because theyre not only false, but they look for some ‘us vs them’ justification for why we deserve to be free. no, mon frère, we deserve liberation simply because we do. it has nothing to do with inherent goodness.

the reason we dont like europe is because imperialism is objectively exploitative of the most vulnerable and marginalized. trying to look for this primordial evil in europe and a primordial good in other populations completely defeats the purpose of examining things through an anticolonial (or marxist) lens. we do not deserve liberation because we are Good, but because, as marx said, systems of oppression are not sustainable in the long term. you cannot fuck over billions of people forever. they will eventually demand something better than what we have. it doesnt mean each and every one of us is a good person, because what is good is highly relative, and denying or granting liberation based on goodness or good deeds is something a religion does, and liberation ideologies are not religions but means to an end.

i dont know if those libraries were destroyed recently. and if they werent, i dont know why people would lie about that. israels relentless campaign of terror over the past few weeks should be enough of a call to action, rather than some weak ‘a building was destroyed in a place no one cares about’ nonsense. i care about palestine because they are all my comrades in arms. they are my comrades, oppressed by the same system of oppression that oppresses millions of brazilians. those systems look different everywhere in order to adapt to the situation, of course, but they are the same, and thus, our struggle is the same. even if the palestinians had no history, had no libraries, had no culture, i would always be on their side because they are my comrades. we are one and the same, together, against imperialism and apartheid.

likewise, making a call to action, appealing to zionists who wept over the notre dame but not this important palestinian cultural landmark....listen. it is not the building itself. it never was. white supremacists latched onto the notre dame fire as a symbol of western civilization being taken over by THE OTHER (which i am very much a fucking part of!) and trying to get them to care about a building theyve never heard of that does not make up the western canon of Important Things is absolutely useless. theyll say ‘well hamas bombs palestinians’ and act like that was the most devastating proof against seeing palestinians are real people who deserve to live outside of an open air prison. is it true? who fucking cares. every palestinian could be a member of hamas, they could all be bomb making experts and love bombs and be really into just bombing everything including their own homes, and they would still deserve to live outside of israels apartheid regime. but you cant explain this to someone who is determined to view you as a Thing. you cannot.

i cried when the notre dame burned. by the logic of a lot of idiots on this site, i must be a white supremacist. sure, whatever. its extremely not true so you can say whatever you want. but the issue is that galvanizing others into action using buildings is never going to work. because it is and isnt about the buildings. i extremely dont care about white french people because like, why do i have to care about them. but i care deeply about palestinians and my solidarity will always lie with them, whether or not they have nice cultural things that i like. it doesnt really matter if i like palestinian culture and hate french culture. thats not the point. one gets to thrive because of the bounties imperialism has given it, while the other rots on the vine as a direct result of imperialism. i care about that. and we can go into what it means to care and if caring as an individual (esp a colonized individual) matters very much at all in terms of political action but like.....this narrative of ‘you have to care only about the third world’ is funny to me because you guys just dont. you dont do it. youre very eager to use us when convenient, but you dont really. so ultimately, what does that mean? nothing i guess.

THE PLOT GETS THICC

Ship: Eventual Ralbert

Warnings: Albert’s potty mouth

Albert stood and backed away from Race, “What the fuck. Who are you? Why did you come here? How did you find me?”

Race closed his eyes, and rubbed his temples, “Like I said, I have sources. Listen, I fucked up and nowhere else is safe for me right now. Your apartment is inconspicuous. No one would think to look here.”

“So your part of Prospect?” Albert asked, “Or..”

“No, I’m part of Empire,” Race said, calmly.

“Ohmygod, I’ve got a fucking beat up gang member on my couch. Prospect’s gonna find you and kill you and then probably kill me too. Why didn’t I mind my own business?” Albert rambled, feeling anxiety building in his chest rapidly.

“Calm down, please, I’ll explain,” Race insisted. Albert took a breath and sat down on the floor, still keeping distance between him and Race.

“Okay, I’m listening,” He said, “Wait, aren’t gang members supposed to like keep their shit secret?”

“Yeah, that’s why I lied to you earlier,” Race said, nonchalantly.

“What?” Albert exclaimed, “So then what about right now? Wouldn’t you still have to lie?”

“No,” Race said, “Because I know you won’t tell anyone.”

Albert narrowed his eyes skeptically, “How do you know that?”

Race smiled unsettlingly, “Because, you’re going to come with me after this.”

Albert stood up, “Oh fuck no I’m not, get out.”

Race reached into the waistband of his pants and pulled out a handgun, then pointed it at Albert, “Yes you are. Sit down, and I’ll explain. You’re useful.”

Albert blanched and slowly lowered himself down, sitting once more, “How the hell am I useful?”

Race lowered the gun, but kept it pointed at him, “You’re pushy and convincing.”

Albert grimaced, “I hate myself, I shoulda just given you you’re wallet and left.”

“But you didn’t,” Race said, “Which says something about your personality. You’d be great for Empire.”

Albert laughed incredulously, “What the fuck is happening.”

“Quit saying that and let me explain,” Race rolled his eyes.

“What if I don’t agree to help you?”

“You’re going to agree.”

“Or what?”

“Or I’ll shoot you, now please shut up.”

Albert felt a wave of nausea hit him, “Fine,” he said, his voice cracking slightly.

“So it’s true that I have heroin on me, but that’s not why the police were after me earlier,” Race started.

“Why were they after you then?” Albert interrupted.

“I’m explaining that. Jesus you’re really annoying, you know that?”

Albert pouted, but gestured for Race to continue, “I’m the resident graffiti artist for Empire. I do the usual graffiti shit, ya know, vandalism and all that, but graffiti is also the way we communicate discreetly with other boroughs, as well as Prospect.”

“How is that discreet? Graffiti is pretty damn obvious,” Albert pointed out.

“Exactly,” Race said, “It’s hiding in plain sight. We use pictures and symbols to reference meeting places and deal times. For the longest time, the NYPD just wrote it off as harmless graffiti, but someone tipped them off and they found out that the gangs were using it for communication. Anyway, I was leaving a message for Queens this morning over on the Queensboro Bridge and I guess the bulls saw me doing it and recognized the symbols I was using. So they started to come for me and I ran. I caught a taxi and booked it over here, but I guess they figured I’d be somewhere in Manhattan and they found me again. They tried to get me over near Washington Heights, but I dodged them and ran again. Which is where I bumped into you.”

“Right, so when and why did you get beat up? And by who?” Albert asked.

“Yeah, so a little after we parted ways, I made my way to The Lodging House-”

“-The Lodging House?” Albert asked, cocking his head.

“Yeah, it’s kinda like a hub for drug deals. Prospect and Empire used it as a trade space back when we were mutuals. But since we’ve been at war it’s been mostly abandoned, hence why I went there.”

“I’m guessing it wasn’t as abandoned as you’d thought?” Albert asked, propping his chin on his hand.

Race nodded, “Yep, there were a few Prospect guys already there. I don’t know how they knew I’d show up, but they did. Queens is technically Prospect’s territory, but we’ve been trading over there for awhile.”

“Oh yeah,” Albert said, “Ain’t that the reason you’re fighting?”

“Mhm, Empire’s technically got control of The Bronx and Prospect’s got Queens, and at first, we’d had Staten Island split evenly between us.”

“What happened?”

“Well, a few months ago there was a, uh, a disagreement between Prospect’s leader and his, uh, second. His second ended up leaving and going to Empire instead. It was messy. Yeah, anyway, since then, Prospect’s been feeling pretty petty and they were like ‘fuck it, let’s break our deal with Empire and take their territory’. So to get back at them, we started selling in Queens and they don’t appreciate that.”

“Who’s their leader?”

Race scowled, “Spot Conlon. Real pain in the ass, but a damn good leader.”

Albert hummed, “What about his second? Who was he?”

An odd expression flashed across Race’s face and he averted his eyes from Albert’s, “No one.”

“Oh.”

Race fiddled with his gun idly, evidently lost in thought and Albert cleared his throat awkwardly, “So they beat you up ‘cause they knew you’d been in Queens?”

Race blinked, seemingly coming back to reality, “Hm? Oh, yeah basically. Beat the shit out of me and I was caught off guard, so my fight response wasn’t as sharp as my flight response. I managed to escape, but not before they made me lose my lunch by marking their territory with that fucking burn. Hurt like a bitch.”

“And then you came here,” Albert finished for him.

“And then I came here.”

Albert took a deep breath, processing everything Race had just told him, “Can I ask a question?”

Race shrugged, “Sure.”

“So I know you have ‘sources’ or whatever, but seriously, how’d you find where I live?” Albert asked.

Race looked down at his gun and clicked the safety on, “Easy. I went back to Jacobi’s and asked for your receipt from earlier, claiming that I wanted to know how much you had paid so I could pay you back. When Jacobi gave it to me, I saw that you’d signed your first and last name, so I took note of it and used some of my gang member magic to track you to your address.”

“That’s creepy as fuck,” Albert said, slightly horrified.

“Yeah, well, that’s the tea, sis.”

Albert scoffed, “Did you just- you know what? That is not the wildest thing you’ve said so far, so I’m not gonna question it.”

Race laughed loudly, “Good choice. Hey, DaSilva’s a cool last name, by the way. What is it? Portuguese?”

“Nah, Brazilian.”

“Really?” Race looked confused, “You don’t look Brazilian.”

“Yeah, well, my dad is, but my mom’s Irish, so I got her looks.”

“Ah,” Race nodded, “Makes sense.”

“Back to this whole gang war shit,” Albert said, finally standing from his place on the floor, “Where do I come into play in all of this?”

Race stood as well, stowing his gun back into his waistband, “Like I said, you’re pushy and weirdly convincing. You have an odd sort of charm about you.”

“Okay…” Albert eyed him wearily.

“We need you to get on Prospect’s good side.”

“Jesus Christ.”

HedgieOso: The Cuddlers (and lazy), hes mostaly of time he’s at home, eating some hedgie food, walk around with this brothers in other places.

HedgieKara: An Adventurer and Cuddlers(and painfull), he’s confidend to try seduce people to notice hims blue spikes (no he’s not a sonic) but people get mistake easily of him as huffer(by his eyebrows), so hes gets upset for this.

HedgieChoro: hes a loner and a little huffer, he’s always tries to impress some people or some hedgiegirls to notice him. but hes ends up be with this brothers (especially HedgiesOso),and that makes him so pissed about it. he’s the only responsible hedgie.

HedgieIchi: he’s personality of course is the Loner type (and shyest), he’s like to be alone, eat alone and walk alone with out of the other hedgie, but doesn’t mean he’s like to be all alone, he like to be with him’s brothers, and better check hims health it's okay(eating well that stuff.) (he’s only can get huffer personalytity on hedgiekara, idk just depend of him’s mood day i guess...)

HedgieJyushi: he’s personality is the Cuddlers but also a Explorer, he’s so energetic (he’s run so fast that you can lose him in one sec), so you better watch out were hes going. He’s like to be with this brothers, like to play all the pet toys (even a toilet paper roll that always he’s got stuck himself head of it)

HedgieTotty: The Adventurer and huffer(and Cuter?), hes use this flower one of side of the ears to look more cuter than the others hedgiesmatsus,and he’s aways walk away form them and get try to get the humans attention of only him,and when he's at home he’s use this hedgiecellphone.

* The Adventurer/Explorer: Hedgehogs with the explorer personality type just can’t sit still. They love to run and are very active.While bonding with explorer hedgehogs, they will always try to run out of your hands or off of your lap to everywhere they can. These hedgehogs don’t like being held and cuddling when out of their cage. They like doing what their name suggests, exploring! Explorer hedgehogs are very outgoing. You should give them more fat in their diet since they burn so much of it while they’re running.

* The Loner: this kind of type are very shy, and have kinda a dificult Personality(not as bad as huffer), They won’t hate you for handling them, they just prefer to be left alone.They are happiest when left alone to run in their cage without any disturbance. To them, you are just a source of food and water.Of course, this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t bond with them at all. You should still bond with them daily for about an hour a day.

* Cuddlers: These hedgehogs love to be held.They enjoy cuddling as the name suggests and would love to fall asleep in your lap. They open up quickly to their owners (deal good with other animals)Cuddlers are hedgehogs that cherish bonding time. These are general personality types of personalities that people use to describe hedgehogs. The hedgehog may be an explorer one day and another prefer to just sit down and cuddle.

*The Huffer: the kinda bad personalyty of a hedies, grumpy ,some of them are aggrecife and some of them are huffing, clicking at you and are almost always balled up. It’s just the way they are.they can come around, but it requires a lot of patience. Huffer hedgehogs are afraid of humans and take a lot of bonding and patience to get used to humans.

And some of this type of hedgies personality can be a little mix, after all they are a adorable little living beings
