20 Cookie Brands You'll Love
It's no secret that cookie companies have been on a roll in the past few years. While most of this growth has come from within, with the launch of new product categories (like dark chocolate and flavored sugar-free cookies) or biscuit brands (like The Oreo Group), others have also caught on. This year, we saw a number of new cookie brands pop up thanks to the expansion of Anheuser-Busch InBev's Capital Brew brand portfolio. These aren't just any old cookie brands — many are household names with fanatical followings that make their products a must-have for anyone who appreciates great taste. Read on to discover 10 of our favorite cookie brands right now!
Fairlife Baking Co.
Fairlife was one of the first specialty bakers to make a name for itself with beautifully shaped, high-quality buttery, golden, and pillowy Fairlife Baking Co. cookies. The parent company, Fairlife, Inc., has established itself as a leader in the baking industry thanks to its dedication to quality and innovation. The company is also perhaps most famous for its signature confection, the Fairlife cookie. In recent years, the company has branched out into other categories — including macarons, cupcakes, donuts, and more — to create a wide range of beautifully designed and appealing cookies.
Hannaford Supermarket
Hannaford is a leading supermarket chain with over 136 locations in New England and New York. Many of these stores are fully-owned (i.e., no franchising), and the chain's success can be attributed in large part to its food quality and variety. This year, the supermarket announced plans to enter the coffee and tea business, expanding its offerings to include CBD products and accessories. The supermarket also began to roll out its "Healthy Home" program, in which it provides discounts on select home care services for customers who sign up for the program.
Oreo Group
The popularity of the Oreo brand has led to a string of cookie-related spin-offs, including the popular “Private Stock” line of cookies and the new OREO WEISENBERG line, which is based on the traditional wieners recipe and includes flavors such as coffee, red velvet, and orange cream. In addition, the company is now manufacturing cookies in partnership with Sanrio, which will be sold in select Target stores.
Squeak & Bake
Squeak & Bake is another name-brand spinoff, this time from Squeaker Brands, which owns and operates Ben's Chili Bowl and Fat Tire Brewery. The name and logo are based on the famous Squeaker basketball players, and the bakery specializes in macarons, cupcakes, and wedding cakes.
Thin Mints and more!
One of the more recent arrivals to the cookie brand spinoff party is Thin Mints, which was co-founded by two former Hershey’s executives. The brand’s founders hope to bring the nostalgic taste of the original chocolate mints to consumers in the new year by creating new flavor variations, including strawberry, lemon lime, and yellow cake. The company also plans to launch a sugar-free line of Thin Mints in 2020.
The Oreo Group
The Oreo group is one of the most recognizable food and beverage brands in the world. The group owns and operates a variety of well-known brands, including Oreo, Crème de Menthe, Gellato, Cremosa, and more. In addition to the consumer-facing brands, the company also owns and operates a bakery in Plymouth, Massachusetts, which is the source of the company’s famous cookies.
Squeak & Bake
Like Hannaford, Squeak & Bake is a New England-based supermarket chain with a foodservice footprint in the Midwest and South. The main difference is that Squeak & Bake is much more family-friendly and child-focused with its policies and products. The supermarket also owns and operates a DineEquity-branded fast-food restaurant chain called Squeak & Bake QSR in the Midwest that is modeled after the company’s bakery in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Thin Mints and more!
The Thin Mints are a popular line of individually wrapped candies based on the popular children’s novel of the same name by Laura Ingalls Wilder. The novel follows migrant families as they make their way west on the “Thin Mint” journey. The new flavors are cherry, orange, lemon, and grape, with a new flavor release every two months.
The Oreo Group
The Oreo group is another well-known brand that has found success with a variety of cookie and cake-themed beverages, snacks, and desserts. In addition to the beverage brands, the company also owns and operates a bakery in Plymouth, Massachusetts that is the source of the company’s famous cookies.
Squeak & Bake
The Squeaker family, which owns and operates Ben’s Chili Bowl and Fat Tire Brewery, also owns and operates Squeak & Bake. The Squeakers are also the founders of the brand, and the company is named in their honor. The Squeakers hope to keep the brand family-friendly through the 2020s and beyond with its new sugar-free line and updated packaging.
Thin Mints and more!
The name and design of Thin Mints is inspired by the toothsome chocolates featured in the popular television show “The Thin Man.” The brand was co-founded by two former Hershey’s executives and aims to bring the nostalgic taste of the original chocolate mints to consumers in the new year by creating new flavor variations, including milk chocolate, vanilla milk, ganache, and peanut butter. Thin Mints also makes a sugar-free line, but the new flavor is sugar free, ganache, and peanut butter.

Santa's Toy Monster Attacks (2011)
Merry Christmas, DA!
For my 2011 Christmas Card, I decided to go with a design involving Santa Claus sicking his toy monster on a naughty kid.
This piece was by far this most ambitious piece I've ever done. I looked back and saw that I posted my first draft of this piece in my DeviantArt scrapbook on June 29th, and I've just completed it finally on November 12th... Dang.
I am really proud of this piece, and I'd love to hear your thoughts.
You can also view a progress video to see how this piece came together over on you tube: [link]
Thanks To: -- A Blanket of Snow by ~midnightstouchSTOCK (reference) -- frecklebrush by ~Dojang (PS freckle paintbrush) -- SNOW PS7 Brushes and IMG Pack by ~KeepWaiting (PS snow flake paintbrush) -- THe Valley of Childhood Toys by ~MGrigsbyArt (toy ideas... check this out. similar idea and AWESOME execution)
