The very end of S2E6 when the Bentley pulls away, it passes in front of this other car and when it does, the other cars headlights turn on. Anyone have thoughts as to why? meaning?

word count: 522 words
vil is one of the worst and best (in my humble opinion) person to go shopping with. he's an actor and a model, and thus has a good eye for styles, textures, and patterns that suit you.
vil drags you (with your consent) from shop to shop, combining various fabrics and sometimes commissioning tailors from the industry to make the dresses the way you like for you!
"it is because you have so little that you must present yourself well, [name]. i will not take no for an answer." he says firmly but gently, guiding you across expensive tiled floors towards a showroom filled with only the best quality clothes and materials for you.
if your culture isn't present in twisted wonderland (like mine *cough* i'm indian), vil would be 100000% villing (bad pun, sorry) to have it commissioned for you if you can draw/describe it!!
jack is, in my opinion, one of the better people to go shopping with. others in the same category are leona, trey, azul, kalim, and azul. they have money, but little to no opinions on styles that would suit you, so you're pretty much on your own.
however, that doesn't mean they won't fund you- jack is quick to offer cash when you run out of money, and refuses to have you pay him back 'as soon as you can'- he knows the situation you're in, and has no dearth of money and time. he can wait.
genuinely interested in the various stuff you show him and gives his feedback honestly (unlike many people on the list in bullet point one)- he feels like he should help out with how much ever knowledge he has. does end up texting vil for help though.
accepts payment for the long day via pictures in a photo booth and some food, either bought or cooked, he doesn't really care. he will print the photo out (if digital) and stick in a separate album for his friends (where he also has a few photos of leona [he's his idol okay cmon 0-0])
ace trappola. sigh. ace is one of the worst, if not the worst people to go shopping with, because a) he is broke asf (his brother is not going to give him extra cash) and b) he has no sense of fashion. all his excellent SSR styles of fashion? they came from epel which came from vil and rook combined. do not trust ace trappola.
but regardless of how thinly-lined his peasant-pockets are (ace slander for the win), ace makes sure to do his research on affordable clothing stores and brands (nothing fancy) and makes sure to cover them all or as many as a human being possibly can in one day.
slanders your every choice because he thinks it's funny to do so (unless it makes you genuinely uncomfortable) but also has the capacity to be serious about your choices. offers one piece of excellent financial advice every 1000 seconds. (yes, jack counted).
overall, a good companion who helps you budget! he is, unfortunately, of little to no actual help. he will demand a soda regardless.

hey i have a question. do you kmow what’s up with the ichiban kuji jojo’s assemble (2021) josuke figure? the one from this:
it looks really nice in the promo pictures, but the one i own, and every single one ive seen anyone else own, looks absolutely terrible. the face is sculpted completely differently to the promo pics and looks super ugly. i don’t think it could be a bootleg because i’ve literally never seen someone own one that looks like the promo photos. do u know what happened with this thing? it’s super disappointing since theyre on the pricier side but the worst quality of any jojo fig, and i don’t want to buy anything else from this collection if if could turn out the same
The quality issue's probably because it's a kuji figure. They tend to be made with simpler molds and lower quality control since they're meant to be sold as lottery prizes and crane machine items. The upside of this is it keeps the prices down vs. the retail prices on scale figures, but stuff can go awry with some releases looking terrible.

(His Josuke's face looks like it's painted well but I can see how the sculpt could make it really weird since the nose is just oddly shaped).
I guess the best way to be safe is to wait until the kuji figure's been released and then look up a bunch of photos before you buy it, although sometimes that's less of an option with pre-orders. Sorry about your Josuke :(

Latest strike news. No more iwtv panel at comic con and filming is being stopped. This is the worst news I've received this week. I'm so scared for what this could mean for the future of the show 😥😥

As per the future of the show I wouldn’t worry too much though, this strike has been coming, and all things considered it is not AMC‘s fault if news are to be trusted.
Also, with the book rights in their hands it would still not make sense for them to cancel the show. And them pulling back Night Island and Talamasca a bit is probably exactly because of the looming strike.
Soooo… personally I was a bit afraid this would happen (and that filming would then stop) but television wise… this is an important strike. This isn’t (just) about money. This is about setting rules for what the networks can do AI wise (and streaming wise), too, and we see already how fast things spiral out of hand with generated photos, videos, voices… writing. If they don’t put some rules down now we’ll be in AI generated bullshit-content hell in no time -.-
So yeah, it sucks.
However I do think AMC might have calculated that in as a factor for the release of s2 (therefore making it 2024), it would have been wise to do so.
Fingers crossed that the strike will be very painful for the big networks… and therefore short. But I would want the SAG strike to be resolved with the WGA strike tbh. I would prefer waiting now and getting high-quality content later to the alternative.

Continuing the Sketchbook
I felt inspired by that 'old Molluck' and I feel like I love that Molluck more now than I used to... I noticed more differences between the AO Molluck and NnT Molluck while working on this but I also did remember again why I dislike NnT... I'll write about that later in this post.
Man, I'm not even sure when was the last time I drew something like this... It's so rare that I draw 'full settings', I mean, a background, multiple characters, something that has a story etc. I'm just used to draw portraits because well, I have felt like I just cannot draw anything else... So, I took the challenge and especially when I didn't have direct references, I had to make this perspective by myself. I tried my best and hope that it looks alright. Also, I'm sorry for the quality of these. All these look better and smoother IRL. I only take a photo and edit it, so some details are lost too. But you can see the main thing, somehow, and the main details are there, like Abe's lil hand tattoo.
I actually planned something different for the second page but I wanted to draw this way too much ... I'm not sure why but this image was just stuck inside my head. This is kinda random too since I just added some stuff that came to my mind around the drawing. I basically just drew this all day since I felt like I do need a day-off... I barely keep any holidays, even for a day... I just keep feeling more and more tired...
But yes, man I just feel like I keep loving this Gluk more and more... I just noticed how this AO Molluck gives that certain feeling SoulStorm Molluck has.

The same situation in NnT doesn't give me this feeling, so yeah, frankly, NnT Molluck is the worst version of him in my opinion. I had forgotten how artificial voice NnT Molluck has... I hadn't seen any NnT cutscene for like two years. NnT Molluck makes different sounds too, like AO Molluck makes some 'random murmur' sounds while NnT one growls. I love that murmur he makes, it's adorable... He kinda does it in SS too!
I also noticed that NnT cutscene doesn't have that 'Molock suckz' text, just now... I wonder why. I personally love that lil detail and the fact that the Gametee's RuptureFarms hoodie has that printed on it! Well, I still don't agree on that, though it depends on how we define 'suck' here; he does smoke a lot!
Oh, and I also realized how they changed what Molluck says in that cutscene in NnT too! He doesn't say 'Kill 'im!' anymore but something like 'Get toast!', if I hear right... Man, Molluck truly got softer there. But that toast thing tickled my dark humour... Yeah, when Molluck manages to catch Abe, he wants to make a good sandwich from him, put him between a bread, and before killing him, he asks from Abe: 'Whadda ya are?'. Abe replies: 'I'm a weak, pathetic, uneducated, shmuck of a slave sandwich'. Those were Abe's last words. The end.
I cannot help myself that I enjoy dark humour like that... Oddworld is just perfect for my humour! I have been joking after making that joke that welp, maybe being like all day with Molluck makes me be more like him too... Yeah, I don't hate Abe but for some reason, the only character I care about is Molluck. He just means so much to me... After all these years, I finally found a character that is 'perfect' for me. Well, I only like a few characters in general too... But none of them (but Molluck) feel 'right' for me, at least in the same sense as Molluck; it can take some time to realize it. I can like count with one hand the characters that feel somehow special to me; like one of them is like me as a villain, feels like my alter ego.
It's just kinda odd to think how 'the one' for me was Molluck... No one else has made me feel like he does... It's just so interesting but I love to have him as that one. When I saw him, in both AO and SS, before really getting into him, I felt nothing special toward him, didn't see anything special in his appearance either; I only liked Gluks in general. But then, that SS Molluck just started to feel like me as a Gluk and here I am!

Sometimes I think the happiest moment is waking up from a nightmare - nothing is the current reality, nothing is too late anymore. All bad endings can be changed.

I am still feeling a little surreal that I finished it. I had the idea of drawing Cas comforting Dean after a nightmare for so long --- last year when I first started posting Destiel fanart I was in no way capable of laying out my ideas so I settled on just one piece of Cas kissing tearing Dean (and not a satisfying piece at all lol). Can't believe after one year I managed to do so many panels in less than one week… Not really single-piece quality but still :D This is insane lol
Perhaps I should redraw the old piece someday :D
Sorry for the sudden style change lol I wanted to draw recognizable scenes from the show but then the first half looks like a terrible photo collage after poor color altering lol this is not what I wanted T^T then in the second half they basically become very --- manga? simplified? unrealistic lol.

List of Lupin III Part 2 Episodes (that I liked enough to make my partner watch them)
Part 2 of Lupin III has Many Episodes, but overall I found it fun and charming (in a dated kind of way). Please be aware that this is a very old show, and there are still instances of racism/sexism/etc in these episodes (though the worst have not made this list).
I have decided to share the whole list of episodes I noted down to make Partner watch with me as I have been devouring the show entire, much like a snek, but I have also bolded a couple of my Extra Favorite ones.
I cannot speak to the quality of the dub versions, as I have only watched with Japanese audio and English subtitles. I don't think Part 2 is a bad place to start if you want to get into Lupin.
