I find it so funny that I'm seeing reviewers praise GOWR with how well done the side quests are yet those same reviewers never bothered with the side quests for Horizon Forbidden West. They main lined the game and had such strong opinions about Aloy because they didn't bother to dive in to her story properly. THEN when they actually took the time with the whole game, their tune changed.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm utterly happy that God of War is getting such high compliments. The team deserves it and it's getting me very excited to play next week.
I just think that reviewers need to actually take their time with every game they are being given codes for. Whether that's HFW, Cult of the Lamb, Stray, Elden Ring or God of War. You shouldn't pick and choose what you deiced to focus on for a video game if you aren't going to review it fairly.

finished god of war ragnarok
*spoilers spoilers spoilers*
i am so relieved kratos and atreus are both alive and well. i went to broks funeral.
i still have so many extra trophies to go for. i got platinum in the first game but i feel like its going to take me longer this time around.
im guessing in the third game we will mostly play as atreus. i thought that was going to happen this game but then it kept going back and forth. we did get the trophy better together. i hope they will both be in the third game. i dont think very deeply so i dont know what to expect lol but i am already ready to play it.
i liked that atreus made some friends his own age in this game.
i teared up at the end at bit.
oh i am a bit sad for thor that he died. odin was shitty, and im glad sindri smashed his soul.
it does suck that im running around doing extra stuff now and atreus isnt with me.
