the raw intimacy of knowing someone by getting to know their deepest corners, in the physical and the metaphorical sense. it's about saying, 'hey you. i want to get to know you. and i want you to get to know me and so here's me stripping myself bare and showing you all of me, giving you all of me. this is me, scars and all. this is you, scars and all. this is us, and i know you and you know me and i love you, in spite and despite it all, because you're you.' it's letting them into your mind, heart and body, creating a space for them, and you, and both of you together. it's about saying, 'so these are the walls but i'm creating a window for you to come in. it's a mess, but it's my safe space. hope you like it. hope you feel safe too.'

I don’t understand how Insomniac keeps making moments that make me go, “Damn, I am Spider-Man” but it’s great. It’s like the moment you do anything practically seamlessly in the game just makes you feel awesome.

Ended a fight quick with gadgets? Spider-Man behavior.

Hooked around a corner to catch a car then swing off? Spider-Man behavior.

Dodge a bullet, web the gun, fling at one person then uppercut the gunner; that’s some Spider-Man behavior.

Don’t even get me started on beating entire encounters in stealth or a brawl without getting touched. It just makes me think “why would you want to be a thug in New York!? It’s not safe!” Imagine robbing someone and then suddenly you get an electrical tackle by an invisible man. Insanity.

Welp, i've been convinced Here's my sonadow kiddo (though technically he has Silver's DNA in him as well), Sony !! These drawings are about a month old, but I've been itching to draw him more anyway - Put a bunch of em on one canvas, and snipped some closeups!

Bottom drawing is his usual outfit, cause in present canon he's around 5-6 yrs old

He's a lab baby from around 500 years in the future, made from preserved samples of Shadow, Sonic, and Silver's DNA He's still got some lore to be figured out but hey, I like drawing him regardless of whether his backstory is consistent yet :D

Being both an ace attorney fan and a spider-verse fan be confusing as hell sometimes bc when a person posts some shit about "Miles" I gotta try and decipher Which One is being talked about

My thoughts on ATSV in no particular order:

Yeeeep, guess who just saw the movie...

Despite Peter saying Miguel is the only spiderman with no humor, I found his need for dramatic pauses funnier than mostly everyone else. The only ones I thought were hilarious were Peter B., Pavitr and Hobie (I'm talking about the spider cast here)

Pavitr is amazing, I love him very much. I wished we got more of him

In general I really liked the team up between Miles, Gwen, Hobie and Pavitr. If they ever make a spinoff series I'd love for it to be about them being a multiversal team!

Idk if this was intentional but I spent a good chunk of the movie not really liking Gwen nor Peter B. much. Gwen bc, to me, she spent almost the whole movie feeling sorry for herself while trying to stay on everyone's good side, which is impossible lol. And Peter B. bc he didn't seem to worry about Miles as much as someone in his position (he's the one who spent most of the first movie mentoring and acting as a paternal figure to Miles) would have, at least in my opinion

I related a lot to Peter B. when he started gushing about Mayday's photos, except I'm an aunt not a parent

While I now understand why people don't really like Miguel. 1) he's not the villain, he's an antagonist, it's different; 2) he's not a cultist, he doesn't have the charisma for that, every spider (except Miles) already believed what he was explaining to Miles; 3) my man's only wrongs are his anger issues, not having a different (pessimistic) perception of how the multiverse works

The art and animation was amazing as always. And the music was really good, definitely adding some stuff to my playlist

SOOOO UMM…

past friends, one is betrayed/hurt by the other, becomes the villain and is scarred on the right eye… working to heal their relationship (one which is going a lot smoother than the other)

night two is done and i'm heading back home tomorrow (hey @ harry styles you should drop the late night talking mv) and i just wanted to do a highlight reel of everything that happened :

- harry is so so beautiful. none of the photos or videos do him justice. he is also extremely white which just hit me when i saw him live hghfj

- he is tiny too and he pinks up so easily i want to make him blush all the time

- watching him perform his songs and having us yell the lyrics so loud that he couldn't sing and just had to stop to take it all in made me realise how humble he is. i want to say insecure too but that's okay. despite being a chart topper i don't think he realises the magnitude of love he gets from us. he's never too cocky. if you've seen him perform then you know just how different harry styles™ is from H.

- i also noticed that he knows what lyrics are fan favourites and while sometimes he puts the mic towards the audience, other times he lowers his own voice during those parts to let us be as loud as we want. he's too cute for his own good.

- harry is a brilliant and enigmatic performer. even in a venue as huge as wembley he somehow managed to make everyone feel like he was singing just for them. i was in rear pitch one night and seats in the section next to the stage the other night and both times i was thoroughly captivated by him. he's too charming

- he's human. he's so young and i think people sometimes forget that because of the hand he's been dealt but my heart breaks to think about the incredible pressure he was put on at such a young age

- he's also a whore and a self aware one at that. he thoroughly enjoys performing to the point where i think he forgets has an audience and i love that for him.

ngl i appreciate companies being openly evil now. like they’re so proud of themselves for sucking ass. at least they’re being honest that they hate their workers and the consumer so i know when to take my money elsewhere. also which ones we need to kill off. very nice.

Looking at D*sney’s Wish trailer again after I heard people say it uses a different animation style than usual. And uuuuh.. no? 

I can see a real tiny portion of the effects are in 2D-ish; but that’s about it? They had the audacity to slap 2 different watercolor textures in the background. 

Looks a bit under-composited and unfinished tho... as if they wanted to try something new and then the execs cried because they were afraid it’d change customers’ habits a bit too much. It feels like a lot of compromises. 

Man... especially since it’s supposed to be an hommage to their past animated features then fail to actually animate in 2D. Don’t tell me it’s difficult hiring or paying 2D animators, we know that’s just simply not true.
