Skizz can't see stars. He's never seen stars before. Stars are angels looking down on earth. Skizz is a fallen angel on Earth, though any angel on Earth can't really see stars.if they go down there for fun. He wonders what they look like, but he doesn't want to ask. He trys to look at photos of stary nights, but just seeing the clear night sky with no shine to them, no stars. When people ask him if the night sky is pretty with all the stars, he just responds with a simple, "Yes it is" while looking up at it, hoping to see at least on star. Sometimes, he's glad he can't see them, only on very rare occasions. The Sun is a different story, though. The Sun is something he can see because it's God, and God has to look over all of Earth even if fallen angels are there. He wishes he could see a star, just one in the night sky. Skizz can't see stars because he's Skizz, and Skizz will take that as he will.

When Impulse finds out about this, he makes it his goal to show Skizz what stars look like. He tries taking photos. They don't work. He tries drawing it, but he's not good enough to capture the beauty of the night sky. Finally, he gets the right idea.

When Skizz is brought into the black concrete room, and looks up to see a ceiling filled with nether stars, it moves him to tears.

just a few headcannons I have for Lars

(btw these are mine, they may not be yours)

Lars is the type of guy who gets super mega irritated if you ask too many questions about anyone besides him. Oh, you're asking him about his work? It's fine until you bug him with questions about other people and their work

Despite what you may believe, Lars is also a very jealous guy. One word about another guy and he's already interrogating you like you just murdered someone

Dude has absolutely no chill when it comes to his work. Someone starts talking shit about what he does and it's so over for them.

Even though he may not show it, Lars really enjoys when you touch him. If you're sitting beside him at the lab and place a hand on his shoulder, he's definitely leaning into you and relishing your touch (could also definitely be taken into other context as well).

Lars can absolutely, in no way shape or form, cook to save his life. He heavily relies on whatever he's got in his pantry or you to make him something. He also doesn't really have time for breakfast, so you best believe he's a snacker.

Lars talks to his mom on the phone everyday after he gets home from work. He is, without a doubt, a momma raised boy and you love it.

Lars hates coffee. Plain and simple. He will literally drink anything other than coffee. In fact, his favored drink isn't tea, it's water. He has to maintain his perfect hair somehow.

He may be a cocky son of a bitch, but he will definitely stand up for you if someone belittles you. Lars likes to tease you by saying rude things, but you know that he's just playing and that's how he flirts. When other people do it, he's very quick to jump on their ass about it. Absolutely no tolerance for someone making fun of you.

Even though Lars may not be social, he loves to converse about science and whatnot. He could literally get stuck in a conversation for hours about science. You find it so cute that whenever someone brings up something he likes to talk about, his pupils widen and a grin breaks out on his face.

Lars really loves to listen to music. He listens to it in the lab, at home, anywhere he can really. He's more into indie and older music, like Bees Gees, Sports Team, or Turning Jane.

Lars likes stupid romcom movies. It's a bit cliche, but he really loves a good romcom movie. He'd sit there for hours and watch them if you let him. He hates to admit it, but he loves Clueless and Legally Blonde.

He loves it when you kiss him. Whenever you kiss him, he always has a stupid little love drunk smile after. He's so head over heels for you and it's so cute.

Surprisingly, he's not super neat. Of course, he's not super messy either. Normally, he has a little clutter on his desk and he hates when someone touches something. If someone starts to clean up his desk a little, he's super quick to tell them off about it.

Lars loves when he's able to relax with you. On the days that neither of you are at the lab all night, he loves to curl up with you on the bed and talk about something. Sometimes you both read instead of talking. Just kinda a way to decompress after a long few days of work.

Even though he hunts ghosts, Lars is scared super easily. You could literally be standing behind a door and when he opens it he jumps and lets out a string of curses. This, of course, comes with some of the best pranks you've ever pulled on him. However, don't think that he won't do something back. He despises horror movies and makes you hold his hand whenever you watch one.

Lars puts a lot of time into his hair and skin. We all know about the Pukey incident (which you did not let him live down), so you definitely know that he's extra careful with his skincare and haircare from now on (his hair turned green for a few days).

Despite not knowing how to cook, Lars is such a foodie. If he has the chance to try something new, you best believe he's going to try it. Lars also loves fruity drinks, non-alcoholic and alcoholic (just like James).

create a simple routine for yourself which includes fewer and easier tasks for you, like reading 10 pages of any self help/motivational book, you can also give 1 hour time daily in your academics, doing some house chores and not using any electronic device for sometime. you can sit under a tree as tree can help your energy to cleanse and make you feel more lively. add "walking" in early mornings in your routine, i bet you will love it!!!!

🌱 picking tasks 🌱

now, this is kind of interesting! you can add a fun twist to your daily routine by creating three chits with tasks or hobbies written on them and placing them in a box or jar. each day, pick one chit at random and whatever task or hobby it suggests, go ahead and do it! write down the tasks you feel like doing each day and make chits for them. this activity might also motivate you to be productive daily! plus, add one new task chit daily to keep progressing baby!!!!!

🌿 pinterest board 🌿

pinterest always helps me get back on track, and it could do the same for you!! here's the plan: create a board on your pinterest account focused on being 'productive.' write something motivational in the description of the pinterest board so that every time you visit it, you feel energized and inspired. add pins about pretty hobbies, study motivation, self-help book recommendations, and anything else that catches your eye – you know pinterest is an endless source of aesthetically pleasing content. by envisioning your board daily in the morning, you'll feel motivated to be productive and work on yourself even more!"

🍀 regular breaks 🍀

it's very important to take regular breaks and allow yourself time to rest. taking things slowly is perfectly fine; in fact, it's often necessary for maintaining well-being and productivity. so, don't hesitate to pause, recharge, and then tackle your tasks with renewed energy and focus.

please be kind to yourself during this process of getting back on track. appreciate every little achievement you do in your entire day. don't get sad if you can't meet your goals, remember even if you did 1 task in a day, it's actually still so much better than doing nothing at all right? take care of yourself and don't forget to compliment yourself how much an amazing person you are!!!! <3

Your mission was simple, at least on paper. Simply gain intel on a notorious mafia boss. But if it was that easy, you wouldn't have been working at it for so long.

It didn't help that your partner for this mission was...unusual. Not a bad guy, really, just strange. Sometimes you almost thought he was trying to kill you. You'd often catch him staring at you. You even felt his gaze when you swore no one was around.

Not to mention, danger was ever prevalent around him. He always managed to save you, though. But his face did often look rather annoyed...you just assumed he was one of those people with a really bad rbf.

But it was also suspicious how he was able to so easily and casually waltz into the homes or parties of very high-profile people. People you'd never be able to get near without months of careful planning. Maybe he just had good connections?

But all these coincidences were getting a bit too...convenient. If you needed to get in somewhere, he got you in the front gate. If you needed something, he miraculously had it only a day or two after at the latest.

And worst of all, you still haven't managed to track down this damn mafia boss! It didn't help that nobody knew what he looked like.

"Maybe he's right under your nose." His deep voice startled you out of your thoughts. His arm was wrapped around your shoulder, holding you close. Despite his cold exterior, he was pretty touchy and clingy. But...sort of sweet. You were glad to have met him, even if this mission was looking like a bust.

"But where? Where haven't we checked?"

"Well, our organization may be high security, but not impossible to infiltrate for a man like that." Was he implying that one of your own coworkers could be your target? Impossible!

But...now it all seemed to come together. Those coincidences...weren't just coincidences. He really has been right under your nose this whole time.

No wonder he could go wherever he wanted and get anything he desired. He had power and influence...more than you thought.

"I-Impossible! Our organization has the highest security possible! I'd know if someone like that could be...beside me..." It was a sad attempt to cover up your newest theory, but also to try and reassure yourself. If this was true, then you weren't as good of a spy as you thought...

You got up, or tried to at least. He kept his grip tight on you.

He knew.

"I can't just let you go now. You know my identity. So I'll just have to keep you as my newest little toy." In seconds his arm lowered to prevent you from moving your arms as he quickly used his other to cover your mouth and nose with a rag.

Chloroform.

"Just sleep...Be a good pet and I'll be sure to reward you very well..." Despite your struggling, sleep soon took you. No one ever heard from you again...no one but him, of course.

I'm sorry, this one feels so rushed and short, I was having a tough time getting inspired 😭

Request 2: Drider Scriabin being aesthetic and spooky! Thought about how if you wear a headlamp outside at night, all the sparkles in the grass are tiny reflective spider eyes (personal experience with camping) and with his mirror lenses being reflective, it sparked a mental image of scary spider man in the dark with his 'eyes' being the most visible thing by torchlight (or spell light). If you want, maybe something with pretty spiderwebs in the background because Spiderwebs! Are! Cool!

#*#text #totk #mechanics #i had fun scuttling around in the depths for a while but that got old eventually. for obvious reasons #what i liked about zelda games was always the atmosphere and character interactions #like. one of my favorite games is twilight princess. which is. deeply unserious in many ways #bit it COMMITTED to its setting and what the writers went ham making sure #that it was still full of whimsy and affection.#totk doesn't have that. the characters are all 1) instruction manuals or 2) vehicles for what small and disparate semblances of plot #survived whatever disaster must have happened in development that made them cannibalize several different ideas #and stick them into the shell for the fucking. arm #totk plays like a gallery or again just an engine for the building thing.#it's pretty. the music is good. the building thing is well made. but as a zelda game totk Fucking Tanks #i HATE overinvolved mechanics. i HATE having to stop and rely on a Whole Process that i have to keep stocked #to get anything done. i've always liked loz again bc of characters and whimsy but also bc it's always been mechanically vert streamlined #and accessible to someone like me who is disabled and finds fiddling EXTREMELY tedious #you have one required tool per dungeon and they're QUICK they're SIMPLE they're A GOOD TIME #totk. to me. is just clunky and has no redeeming qualities outside of again being pretty and still sort of nominally letting you run around #collecting things. some of the side quests were cute. but even then the characters were very.#THE THING ABOUT ZELDA GAMES IS THAT IM used TO THEM BEING ABOUT. real life mario. i take the controller out and i find him in the wild and i make him run and ground pound poles for free money coins. though sadly sometimes mario has to sleep. it's like sleeping but for mario. the mario council doesn't like the ethics of controlling mario but he says "waho" and "yippy" when i press the buttons so i think they're wrong.

i started reading the yuri manga “she loves to cook and she loves to eat” which is about a woman who ends up dating another woman bc she’ll always eat the extra portions she cooks, and i like how this early page deals with, like, the gender politics + lesbian discomfort of being with a woman vs being with a man. the way she feels about cooking for her (future) girlfriend is entirely different than the way she feels about the idea of cooking for a man, not just because she’s completely uninterested in this man, but because what society says being with that man means is completely different, too. translation:

male coworker: but being able to talk (about cooking) like that is really cool!

nomoto: ?!

male coworker: like, a woman who’s good on the job and good at home

nomoto: (what- what’s happening) no, it’s just…a hobby of mine…

male coworker: man, you’re gonna be a great mom. i wish i had a girlfriend to cook for me!

nomoto (internal): ah. like that, something i do for myself because i enjoy it was claimed as something for a man’s sake.

i think the fact that witch hat atelier somewhat struggles with introducing a few too many characters at a time but then not really taking the time to fully flesh out or utilize them leaving for much to desire from characters that do appear to be quite interesting is something i consider a blunder of the series but its also rather humorous to me because i think this author just really likes character design i will be honest

#thankfully the main cast is just so wonderfully captivating and incredibly enjoyable that its not really a case of ''being stuck with boring #main characters when the side characters are infinitely more interesting''#its more so ... characters like alaira jujy heiheart etc etc are so fun and cool and it makes me mad because i just want to know more about #them !!!!!!!please. just a little bit #when jujy (and heiheart) appeared in the recent chapters i was freaking out you guys dont know #JUJY WAS INTERACTING WITH THE OTHER APPRENTICES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!G #fucking hell man. the main four apprentices are genuinely some of my favorite characters in anything. ever #but also ... jujy could have been a main character. lol #and im a little (very!) upset that shes not when i think about it #sigh ..i cant wait for alaira and euini to reappear #with the case of alaira i actually get so so upset i wish they didnt just disappear for so many chapters without even a simple mention #i get it theyre going rouge but :-( they had the one comic where euini sends letters to richeh but we never get something like this in the #actual series #and its so strange to me. i cant keep living like this i need alaira to tell me stories about her life #i CANNOT keep making shit up about her i miss her so bad its not even fucking funny #i also ... want to see more of her and qifrey :-( i think about them sometimes #alaira is one of qifreys only and dearest friends ....i love how silly and tender their interactions are #these people dont see eachother very often but wont hesitate to joke around a bit whenever they do happen to cross paths #theyre just very comfortable around eachother #i just like how this series writes relationships between the adults its handled with such a specific care and is so natural. but thats a #whole other ramble #these are ...people

It’s not the true true love I want to find!#so I would never change anything about the heartbreak even in the moment of heartbreak because I know it’s just the truth speaking to me #but the 1 isn’t about that. it’s not about saying that it would have been RIGHT and that she wishes it was REAL. #bellum x linebeck tag ramblings im not making this an actual post i just wanna throw some ideas around bc its still abstract n all that #cuz its not like. just romantic? like im not gonna sit down and treat it like some conventional relationship tho sometimes it is #like i sit down and not a single au/bit of post ph are they actually just. dating. they generally just have Something going on #like in ph. off the bat. i think when linebeck learns about bellum he starts to research him- checks libraries and personal collections #and hounding oshus and the spirits and trying to scrape together every little bit lf information he can find #at first its to quell his fear and maybe find tips he can pass on to link but once he digs deeper he just starts doing it out of curiosity #so theres just a mutual. they really want to know more about each other- linebeck doesnt just stop at researching bellum as an enemy #and bellum doesnt just stop at ‘researching’ linebeck as an enemy and someone to take advantage of #before they meet they have already gone a little farther than necessary into finding info on each other so they. have that mutual interest #and neither of them are too familiar with that i mean linebeck gets link but hes just used to limiting what people know about him #and bellum is used to just being a demonic enemy in need of eradicating (justified tho) whose other traits have been lost to time #like i imagine that long long ago bellum was worshipped as a like. god of war deity of survival against the odds that sort of thing #but the more positive aspects were left to languish when he decided to take the easy and simple way out and towards power and survival #but thats Bellum Lore that i need to add to That Post bc i don think its on there lmao #ok but. specifically in the crimson king au. theres this whole thing bellum eats people he has linebeck bring back limbs and stuff for him #but like some nights they make dinner i (linebeck is. not going to eat human meat. probably)#and while bellum prepares whatever dead guy linebeck brings him linebeck usually brings over a fresh squid #i feel like there’s something there. in other aus bellum ends up being intensely protective of linebeck due to them being reliant on each #other and bellum has known linebeck for a while. in some hes just like. his boss? the space au one is fun thats a fun dynamic #space au is probably the current au where theres the least romantic w/e between them but its still weird #anyways. but like in post ph its that sort of curiosity about each other that drives them to be kind to each other and. civil #theres some recognition they kind of see themselves in each other they understand how they think to a certain degree #bellum is possessive (heh. heheh) of linebeck very quickly partially to be able to keep. well. studying him and eventually bc of liking him #like on a level bellum is kind of just this violent animal that linebeck studies and finds ways to sustain and take care of but bellum #also knows linebeck incredibly intimately so while empathy is generally not there he can talk about very personal stuff to bellum and.#and vice versa a bit! its weird. like bellum has done heinous shit but linebeck kinda just. cares about the present and the future #it kinda ties into my idea that linebeck would rather not touch the past much like he keeps it in mind but moves forward no matter what #so he keeps his eyes forward with bellum and while initially distrustful and keeping him on a short leash just like. gives him some grace #this might be tag limit but like. yknow? im getting there but i might stick to just being loose with it bc it works #salty talks

a/n: runner!hotch x sunshine!reader !! sooooo fluffy, first hotch fic of mine so be gentle with me! lots of pining and happy end <3 happy to continue with these two in an au!

Aaron Hotchner is not a particularly emotive man.

This is a skill he has honed, a cherished quality that was not born of luck or of natural ability, but a skill that he has honed down to a fine tip point. He needs to be, in this job. It’s cost him things, of course, but for the most part, Aaron is happy with his choices. He takes a firm line with people he works with, and does not always let up in his personal life.

The only time this sometimes causes a hitch, is in his romantic life.

Which isn’t to say that he has one.

There is a woman who reads in the park every morning. Aaron affectionately thinks of this bench as her bench, as it is marked by wisterias and hyacinths on either end of it. It’s something of a ritual, after his runs, that they talk.

It’s fun. He doesn’t have a lot of space for fun. He’d collapsed on the bench one day after siphoning his anger at a particular case into a difficult run. He’d crashed onto the bench, sweaty and exhausted and hadn’t even seen her there. Which is a bit impressive, as she’s hard to miss the sight of. It is also in equal measure embarrassing. It’s not every day you collapse in front of a gorgeous woman, disturbing her from what is likely a lovely afternoon in the park.

That’s how it started, anyway. She doesn’t run, so each break is punctuated by her company. He’s actually not sure if they’re flirting. He’s not very good at that- the last time he has to he was 17 and so full of unearned confidence, he lucked into a partnership.

Now, he’s a bit older and a lot more scarred. She’s younger than him, not by much. She laughs with her whole chest at his dry, glib humor- and this is something Aaron had forgotten. The joy of a beautiful, wonderful woman’s company beside you.

He feels a little out of place next to her. Romance is not something he does. Ever thought he’d do again, really. That’s not to say that this is romance. Their romance is almost entirely hypothetical. He thinks of her at work, which is a monumental development in and of itself.

“So, how was the paperwork? I know you’ve been taking a little more on since your colleague had a baby. It’s so kind of you to do it.” She asks him on a beautiful August morning.

He fights off a blush that she remembers what he’s done for JJ. He’s not big on mentioning his own good deeds. Aaron believes that this would cancel it out. Still, her praise is a warm balm to the exhaustion that plagues him. It’s hedonistic, the way he wants her to say more about him. He wonders absentmindedly if she knew everything about him that’s hard to love, she’d still paint him with such a light and warm glance. She’s bright enough, he’s tempted to tell her everything about him just because she asks.

“It was…alright. My team is excellent. I’m lucky to work with people like them, it makes the process better. I couldn’t ask for more.”

She giggles a little at this, and there’s that roar of affection.

He feels a sense of ease around her, one that is suspicious for him. He tries not to romanticize, but this connection is hard not to. She’s beautiful- this is obvious to anyone who meets her, a simple truth of her. But Aaron is trained to notice things little factors that show the truth of someone.

He likes to watch her- it’s a pleasant thing, getting to be in her presence. It’s a little addicting, the way she looks at him. It makes him feel like all of the things he knows to be true of himself- his relative failures, the closed-off nature of his demeanor- are things that not only can be overlooked, but don’t seem to be in her line of sight at all. It’s an honor, to have her doe eyes rake over the sight of him, to meet him with gentle conversation.

He tries not to notice that she is gorgeous. Aaron has been around beautiful women, of course- this is not something that should surprise him. But there’s something effervescent about her, something that his him wondering if it’s possible that she might feel the same way about him. He knows that he used to be a more attractive man, but now. Well, he’s a bit bruised, both metaphorically and physically.

It feels odd to even think of this happening. She’s just got a warm, sweet tone and he replays what it’s like when she greets him. She smiles her brilliant grin and sometimes hugs him. It’s embarrassing how much he likes the feeling of it- soft curves against hard muscle and scarred skin. She always smells wonderful, and he wonders how nice it would be to have more of this.

“I like your new shirt, by the way.” She smiles at him, and his heart jumps. It feels juvenile, but- she’s wearing a new lipstick, it seems. Her beautiful pout looks awfully tempting.

“I like the lip color,” he tries to compliment back amenably, but that doesn’t stick. Instead, it comes out too earnest. He’s hyper aware of the fact that she’s right by him. She flushes, and Aaron feels a surge of pride.

“Thank you,” she says, voice softer and flattered, and isn’t that a pretty sound? He’d love to do that for her, make her feel seen, make her feel like she’s as beautiful as she is, “I thought you might like it.”

It’s her directiveness that breaks the seal, he supposes looking back. Because she wore the lipstick for him. That’s just about the only thing it can mean, and he is struck with a particularly sensory fantasy of what it would be like to slot his mouth against hers- he gets the feeling it might be worth it even if he gets the color on his mouth.

He’s a gentleman, though, he decides after a decidedly ungentlemanly amount of time spend staring at the gorgeous curve of her lips.

“Would you want to get dinner with me?” He hears himself say it before he’s processed it, and then it’s out into the world. His heart is hammering and he’s blaming on the run, when god, it’s absolutely about how breathtaking she looks, the sunlight reflecting off her hair like a halo. When she beams back at him, she looks particularly angelic.

It’s then, she leans over and kisses him on the cheek.

“I thought you’d never ask.”

(Months later, when she is sitting on his kitchen counter and he is standing between her legs, gazing down at her with unabated fondness because he is entitled to that, he reflects on this moment and thinks god, how lucky am I, that I ran past that bench?)

ppl who hate precure must be very sad

#the bin #you dont need to like it. its very much so not for everyone #but ive seen a lot if peopel who are genuinely angry that there are people above the age of 7 who genuinely like precure #its a fun time. its such a fun time. sometimes you just need to watch something sparkly and predictable and super light #precure is enjoyable to me bc they take a simple concept of a bunch of girls being magical fighter people. and then they just do that #nothing extra really added on. it has basic morals of like. friendship or whatever. but even that they dont go too hard on #some people have called it empty for this but ive watched shows that attempt the same and truly are empty #precure is just like. what if we made a show where the main point is that its cute and cool and stuff. and that its easy to watch #it goes down SO easily. thats why its such a big hit with kids aswell as adults. because you can enjoy the cute stuff in it and the rest of #it is extremely easy to watch. its a smooth experience #i dont know that every show in the series accomplishes this since i havent watched they all (yet...) but the ones i have really do #idk. its rare to see a show without much lessons or story to speak of that doesnt feel empty. but precure dies that #it usually has just enough story to have a show and they builds around it. and its great #i love this show a lot. i should draw some precure sometime. im quite fond of the yellow ones. and the like 3 greens ones #so sad. why arent there more? they are plenty popular so i dont unders6why they dont make them often #nobody car abt this but im talking about it anyway. i dont know anybody irl who likes precure #i care a lot abt this show. maybe my little sister would be willing to watch subbed stuff now. i bet she would like ojamajo #does ojamajo have a dub? i wonder..

• he remembers how you like your foods or drinks a certain way so you don't need to ask him

• ask him to open a candy wrapper for you and he'll do it

• he'll probably ask if you're okay though because you usually don't ask him to do stuff like that and you seemed fine
