watched a yhara zayd review of saltburn and... wow that sounds like a very boring film, ngl
#sometimes handsome actors or beautiful actresses really can't do anything to a film#compared that to my experience yesterday#when i saw a tweet of two bloodied men holding onto each other#and the tweet only say 'draw your toxic ship like this'#really intrigued me because i wanna know how actually toxic they are#to my surprise... THEY AREN'T TOXIC AT ALL literally one of the good things that happened in the movie#compared that to the deaths and violence that happened#their relationship to each other is actually pretty refreshing and sweet#and that movie actually got pretty low rating too lol but i personally really like how gonin turn the yakuza#narrative of just pure exaggerated violence#into an emotional study of deaths and how the criminal underworld is something very difficult to escape from#how most of the time people who get involved in that kind of stuff will just... die#without anyone knowing or caring about who they are#it's very tragic but also just... honest#i love that movie#tmi tag
