A lovely follower of mine asked for recommendations on Analog Horror series to watch since I mentioned I'm a big fan of the genre. I figured it would be best to just make a big post about it all!

Lia's Writers and Blog Recommendations
Hi there lovelies! Lia here and I'd love to share the some creators that have so far been feeding me with amazing content and I'd love for you and them to know how I feel about their works so there is a bit of commentary (feel free to ignore if you're only here for recs). They are all from different fandoms and I genuinely love their works. I am not here to hate on anyone at all, simply here to bring attention to those creators I find worth reading. In fact I actually don't do negative commentary. (If I do, it's probably towards my life 😭)
This will be constantly edited if I find more creators that I loved within each fandoms. I'm sorry to all the creators I've probably bothered with this notification, if you want to be taken off this list then I will respect that and do so :))
I will respectively use the pronouns these people have provided in their bios and if they do not have it in their bios then I'll simply use they/them <3

CoD Creators
@frogchiro - This creator is more likely known for the absolutely scrumptious CoD hybrid AUs. MY GOD EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HER AUs ARE JUST ON ANOTHER LEVEL. Ranging from Hacker girl!Reader to Baracks Bunny!Reader. (Octo König and Coyote Graves are personal faves of mine) (Her nsfw content is the most toe curling shit I've ever read)
@ghouljams - This creator is another known for their CoD AUs, only this time you may know them as the one who wrote the Cowboy and Medieval AUs. This person and @frogchiro actually got their inboxes mixed up a few times I believe, they're both really just that good, I clearly need pointers. (I honestly don't have much words because god do I eat their content up)
@wishesforyouo (previous account being: @puff0o0) - This lovely creator makes short but sweet CoD content, you may recognize her as the person who made the popular self-aware CoD AU. Definitely my cup of tea because I really like short reads from time to time. (Miss this AU, sweetie <3)
@blingblong55 - This creator loves to make me cry, idk why. I love her though, her nsfw content is also freaking delicious I can't even.
@xo-cod - This creator, I can't even begin. I just love their writing style, it's sweet, quite short and worth the read. (We also have the same name)
@lunarw0rks - This creator makes me wanna bang my head on a table with how good their Ghost content is.
@ceilidho - This creator I can't even begin to describe how fucking delicious the Ghost content is, idgaf if it's short (IT'S PERFECT). Like my god, how'd y'all come up with content that you do. I think she captures Ghost quite well in her writing.
@mistydeyes - This creator, my fucking god. Her content is so good especially the requests she gets. The overall vibe of her writing gives a specific aesthetic that I love so much and honestly their series is worth the freaking read. Series mentioned here, the writing style is so unique but captures the characters perfectly.
@wordstome - This creator made the GREATEST FUCKING FRIENDS TO LOVERS KÖNIG FANFIC I HAVE EVER READ. It was all just so perfect, the length, the pacing and the writing style is fucking incredible. God where'd y'all get the talent to write this, here's the link to said fanfic because I do not gatekeep.
@multifandomimagin3s - This creator and the amount of Rudy content, I AM EATING IT UP. What do y'all feed yourselves to write with this amount of quality? Like their depiction of Rudy (and of course the others) is just Chef's kiss. (Also idk why but this person seems familiar since I remember someone in Wattpad a long time ago who has the same user)
@lxvvie - This creator creates the best fucking characterization I've ever read, LIKE HELLO?! Horangi is so accurate and her version of König is too. I love it, I'm eating her content up.
@rustic-guitar-notes - This creator I wanted tag this Creator so bad on this creator list because I feel like they're so underappreciated and their works are so good, LIKE IT'S ALWAYS THE UNDERAPPRECIATED WORKS THAT ARE SO GOOD THEY MAKE YOU FEEL WHAT YOU NEED AND WANT TO FEEL.
@icarustypicalfall - This creator is mutuals with almost every single one of my fave mutuals and that's how I found them. MY GOD THE RUDY AND ALEJANDRO CONTENT?? I'M EATING THAT SHIT UP.
@skeletalgoats - This creator IS SO FREAKING UNDERATED, I FOUND MYSELF BINGING THIER WORKS AND IT IS SO GOOD AND YOU KNOW WHAT'S THE BEST THING? THEY HAVE MULTIPLE WORKS ON ROACH. Istg y'all, WE NEED MORE OF ROACH.
@ghosts-cyphera - This creator, HELLO MISS MA'AM? THE PS!GHOST AU?!?! SHE GOT ME THINKING OF IT ALL THE TIME NOW LIKE WHAT DOES SHE PUT IN HER WRITING TO MAKE IT SO GOOD. First of all I'm in love with her version of Ghost because he's just so fucking caring despite the sexual themes, SHE MANAGED TO MAKE A PORNSTAR AU WITH DOMESTIC AND ROMANTIC ASPECTS WITHOUT MAKING IT FEEL SHALLOW AND SUPERFICIAL, LIKE HOW? What kind of food are y'all eating to create the content you guys feed us readers with?
@halcyone-of-the-sea - This creator has their own aesthetic and vibe when it comes to the writing. OMG I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN WITH THE WRITING STYLE, IT'S SO GOOD AND DETAILED. NOT MENTION SHE HAS QUITE A LOT OF POPULAR WORKS THAT I BINGED LIKE THERE WAS NO TOMORROW.
@azereus - This creator, I CAN'T EVEN LIKE WHY SO CRIMINALLY UNDERATED? THEIR WRITING IS LITERALLY SO GOOD AND DESERVES SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE ATTENTION IT'S GETTING. NOT ONLY THAT BUT I'VE READ THEIR WORK OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
@peachesofteal - This creator, OH MY FUCKING GOD, THE WRITING IS A GODSEND. I FINISHED HER WHOLE SERIES "LIGHT ON" IN LESS THAN AN HOUR AND NOW I'M CRAVING MORE. HOLY SHIT IT WAS SO FUCKING GOOD. "MY GIRLS"?!?! GOT ME SO BAD, MY FUCKING HEART IS EXPLODING.
@drop-cherries - this creator brought me back on this list. You all must be saying "Lia you haven't updated this is so long, it must be some scrumptious ass work you've seen". DAMN WELL IT'S GOOD, got me in my feels and everything, needed that domestic life with Simon after so much nsfw content, I need breaks too y'all. Although I did like that one nsfw post earlier, if you saw that, no you didn't :). They are so criminally underrated too so go check them out, from one creator to another, they seem so freaking talented and I love using my platform to help you guys reach other creators too, who hardly get enough attention for something they worked hard on :>
TLOU Creators
@elliesbelle - This creator is top of this list for a reason, their content is the most scrumptious, drama-filled fanfics I have ever read. And yes I'm referring to their series "Nobody Compares To You". I can't even begin to say how much I love this creator, if I wasn't broke then I'd would've already tipped them. I personally think she captures Ellie's personality well. I appreciate a writer who implements shit that happen in her life into her stories. (Despite that, the amount of things happening in their love life is also some complicated shit that I love hearing updates from. Love ya belle <3) Me reading the belle's fanfic at 3am knowing damn well I have school the next day
@lovelettersfromluna - This creator is another amazing writer and holy hell are her works so good, like the length and writing style is just perfect. It's so compact yet it's not too long, add me on your ma'am taglist, please 🥺 <3
@seattlesellie - This creator, I just love her writing style especially with the knight!Ellie fic. Not to mention all the Abby content <3
@callmelola111 - This creator is another person to go to when looking for top tier Ellie fanfics, definitely worth the read on her works.
@clemellie - This creator AND WRITING TLOU SMUT IS A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN OH MY GOD, first of all, the characterization of both Ellie and Abby are so top tier then there's the ungodly toe curling smut. She is worth the fucking read every time.
@papipedroo - This creator has made a a series on Joel Miller x Reader angst AND I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO SAY HOW GOOD IT WAS. THEY GOT ME CRYING AT 7 IN THE MORNING. I also adore the writing style and pacing, I genuinely could not wait for the next part because I NEED Joel to grovel. I DON'T EVEN CRUSH ON JOEL MILLER AND THEY GOT ME HOOKED SO BAD.

this is the sweetest ask ever! and oh me oh my am i ever proud of a lot of them :)))
one love, two mouths (rhaegon stuck in a blizzard the other with sober aegon and rhaenyra who abandoned him 5 years prior until their father's death brings them together after aegon goes to rehab to get clean...let's just say they deal with their issues together 😉😉😉) it's 13K and my fave fic i've written
suffocator (aegon fucks prisoner of war rhaenyra in front of her son's heads on pikes...and there is a brilliant twist in the end if i do say so myself) is my fave dd:dne fic i've written. i'm even thinking about writing a sequel to it 👁️🫦👁️!
hypnos (dd:dne—rhaegon au where stalker aegon kidnaps nyra) has a special place in my heart because it was the first true dd:dne fic i've ever written
cherry wine (dd:dne—sapphic rhaegon—rhaenyra gives her little sister wine and scissors her on her and daemon's kitchen counter top 😏)
dragon seer; seared by sunlight (helaemond) might be the most poetic and beautiful fic i've ever written. helaena decides to take her autonomy back and pay her little brother a divine visit.
golden and glorious dragonfire (dd:dne—rhaenyra survives sunfyre's fiery wrath and aegon becomes completely obsessed with her, threatening to maim/kill aegon the younger if she doesn't comply!)
naked and clean and bloodless again...and mine (dd:dne with somno—my first helaemond fic i ever wrote inspired by cesare x lucrezia'a final scene and line aemond drugs helaena and murders aegon next to her sleeping for then noncons her next to her husband's corpse covered in blood!)
who is the lamb? who is the knife? (dd:dne—rhaegon with older brother aegon and daemyra, ritualistic hunting au where rhaenyra comes of age and will be hunted to see who claims her as their sweet delicious spoils) very big brained of me i must say! i need to start chapter 2 aka the start of the hunt
my werewolf fics: the second son's curse (maegor x rhaena and helaemond—helaena finds a journal with accounts of the second son and his niece and decides to pull the same stint with another second son ;)...major flowers in the attic vibes with maegor x rhaena in this one!) and this flesh has needs (sapphic jacegan—cregan hunts her fair maiden under the light of the blood moon, seeking and smelling her blood, with a need to claim her as HERS.) these are my two most underrated fics in my opinion. and two im MOST proud of!
slivers of silver has my fave ships of hotd everrrr (sequel to one love, two mouths—rhaegon x helaemond with aegon fucking rhaenyra as she eats out hel while hel gives aemond a blowjob!)
tethered by bloodties (dd:dne—aemondhaera—aemond marries his niece jaehaera...helaemond crumbs as always and there is a sweet surprise twist that i was aching to reveal in the tags but i don't want to spoil!)
i'm your only saving grace in this colossal black (dubcon rhaenicent—queen rhaenyra gives her prisoner stepmother a bath and some other things hehe aka alicent in her queen in chains era)
devour her whole (dd:dne—uncle cregan with his niece jace—he corners her in the bathroom and finds out she's on her period...he's a nasty piece of work!)
WHEW this was a LOT but i'm proud of how far i've come as a writer fr fr! hopefully this helps!!!

I TOLD SUNSET ABOUT YOU
I've talked about this show about a thousand times already, so I'll keep it short: this is the only show I consider truly perfect, from its writing, cinematography, acting, chemistry, storyline, soundtrack, etc. it's not for everyone bc it's VERY angsty but it's deffo my cup of tea & I'm gonna be honest teh's coming out storyline was extremely important to me as it came right before I also finally accepted my bisexuality. overall just my favorite show, so important & beautiful with deeply flawed characters <3
PROJECT S: SKATE OUR SOULS
this show is the only other one with itsay I've rated a 10/10 in my life, even though it's not perfect, because it literally changed my life. the last sentence of the show literally helped me get over the worst depressive episode of my life, which is a pretty goddamn beautiful result for a show about depression. even though it's not entirely perfect, it's still an extremely well written show, has a gorgeous cinematography full of neons, incredible performances & a story that was so important to tell. I couldn't recommend it more!
PROJECT S: SIDE BY SIDE
in also a near flawless show, we have this show. it's a very touching story that will make you cry, tries to understand all of its characters, with stunning acting performances from everyone, and it's just the kind of shows I don't see anyone disliking tbh. very well executed & definitely an all time favorite of mine :)
THE REVENGE
probably the most underrated show on this list, this is actually the show I'm the most upset about being underrated lol, bc it's literally SO GOOD. if it was a korean show it'd go viral type of good. this is a very fucked up story so not for the faint of heart but it's executed extremely well, and honestly I don't have much negative to say about this show. flawless performances, an extremely impactful show, and forever one of my favorite thai dramas ever made!
SLEEPLESS SOCIETY: INSOMNIA
another highly underrated thai drama that no one has watched. this is female-led, touches on politics & corruption, has a very different setting from usual & a great plot through and through. the ending is also super iconic & stays on my mind to this day. I really encourage anyone to watch it!
MY RIDE
if you like love sick or my school president, I think my ride will be your cup of tea. it's a pretty simple story but with such lovable characters & a beautiful healthy ship that it immediately became one of my favorite comfort shows. it's the ultimate proof that even a more simple story can be beautiful if given enough soul, quirkiness & love :)
IN FAMILY WE TRUST
in family we trust is a lakorn, but it doesn't feel like a lakorn. apart from the obviously beyond iconic cast at every level, the writing & cinematography are leagues above any other lakorns. for a murder story that should be pretty straightforward, they managed to weave in the interpersonal relationships of the characters perfectly, and this is the kind of show that you can put down once you start. if you've never watched lakorns before, I'd recommend this one to start with since it's quite similar to regular series.
TO SIR, WITH LOVE
another lakorn, another slay! this one is way more lakorn-y so I don't think it's for everyone, but it's literally the only lakorn that treats its queer characters fairly lol & it's such a beautiful love story. it's very dramatic bc 1) lakorn & 2) historical drama with repressed queer characters, but everything in this drama just HITS. you care for the characters so much, and the brother relationship is also so supportive & beautiful and I'm so glad the show never compromised it for some petty drama. overall this show put me through all the emotions & I loved it so much for it lol
GREAT MEN ACADEMY
this show is the proof of the kind of imagination thai film makers have when they get a good budget. the world building of that show is so vibrant & fun, but more than that the writing is really good with endearing characters, good interpersonal relationships, and a really beautiful love story & plot. this is just such a nice show to watch, even with its kind of childish aspect, and once again the cast is great since it's the same as in in family we trust lol. watch both shows back to back & be shook at how drastically different yet so good they both are :)
THE DEBUT
another super underrated show that no one has watched but fucking slaps. not only is it female-led with amazing performances (and a great cast!), but this show really is so well written, with a mystery & a plot twist that will pull you in and make you bingewatch it. the cinematography & colors also slap, and overall it's such a good show that I wish more people would watch.

hiiii thanks for the ask! I miss those kids. they’re definitely an underrated fave of mine and I need to work on their storyline more — that date in town is coming up, though! and of course, all that drama in iron flame 👀
3. What would they never want to change about the other one?
I don’t think they would really want to change anything about the other at all. but for things they would never ever ever want to change about the other: their personalities.
sweetheart may have done some eye-rolling and had some choice words about all Ridoc’s joking at first, but she not-so-secretly loves it. that, and his confidence, and (being completely honest, his looks too) were what sealed the deal for her.
we all know Ridoc was in love at first sight watching her beat up Jack Barlowe, but what really did him in was that smile she gave him when he handed her the knife. he loves everything about her, but especially that perpetual straight-faced look and serious personality, because he knows that he’s one of very few people that can make her truly laugh and smile.
12. How much time per day/week/month do they spend togather?
from where we left them, they’re in different squads, and still in the early stage of their relationship (not official yet). so while they both have all the same first-year classes, they aren’t always together in them. I can see them spending more time together as things progress, and her getting pulled into shenanigans with Violet and the gang, but for now, she’s mostly chilling with the marked ones in her free time or spending it alone studying or working on her illusions.
17. How good are they at communicating their needs and preferences to the other?
I can see it getting better as time goes on, but this is mostly an issue for sweetheart. like angel, she’s quiet and somewhat withdrawn, and doesn’t really speak up for herself often. it was a big deal for her to ask Ridoc to stay with her after her panic attack in snow on the beach, but he was absolutely willing to, and agreed without hesitation.
but that (plus some of his actions in the future) is showing her that it’s okay to ask for things like that, and that she’s not a burden and that he’s happy to take care of his pretty girl, she just has to let him 🥺

Thank you for the ask Shadow! Camp Cretaceous deserves all the love and attention, fingers crossed that we see the gang in chaos theory (darius and ben already confirmed let's goooo!!!!)
blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most): damn this is tough. It's really, extremely close between yaz and darius, but I'll have to go with yaz (why are 90% of all my favourite characters emotionally repressed?) But yeah she's super cool and strong and her character and development are super interesting and together with sammy they're just cuteness incarnate
scrunkly (my "baby", character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped): darius my baby dino nerd i will never let anyone hurt you (i want to turn him into a plushie and squeeze the life out of him). Also poor dude was going thru this shit at age twelve wtf get him some therapy
scrimblo bimblo (underrated/ underappreciated fave): I really don't see very much love for sammy, sure it's not like people dislike her or anything, but i feel like her character often gets glossed over (is that even an expression that exists?)
glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won't shut up about it for a week): dave and roxie (it's two but who cares) honestly I have so much respect for them, they did their very best regarding the circumstances and i will not let anyone say anything negative about them
poor little meow meow ("problematic"/ unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave): hmmmm kenji?? He has some pretty good wet cat vibes in the latest seasons. yes I know there's also early ben but I don't know, maybe because I watched them a long time ago??? I know the fandom adores ben and I love him too but I can't really relate
horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason): it seems like a habit of mine, to always torment my favourite characters the most. yeah it's between darius and yaz again, what can you do. there's just so many good and creative ways to hurt them, and they're already traumatised so they basically do half the setup on their own
eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell): wait are we saying send them to hell "affectionately" or literally? Anyway I'm gonna go literally because I cannot decide and I'll of course go with kenji's dad. like, what the fuck is wrong with this man

I included the Diana insp bc some people missed it when the tour photos came out but this look is the epitome of comfort and giving subtle fuck you's to the people in power and that is so Chan.

Changbin:
I don't think I need to elaborate much on this. It's Changbin.
Hyunjin:
Hyunjin gets two bc the absolute sass in that first pic with Gerard opening a bobby pin is SO Hyunjin to me, and the Joan of Arc look has always also made me think of Hyunjin so you get both.
Jisung:
I feel like nurse!Gerard is both sweet and spicy, just like Hanji. Is it a bit? Is it a kink? You'll never get an answer and he likes it that way.
Felix:
This one is so Felix to me esp after all the footage of him flirting with the camera during their concerts. Its sassy, its hot, and he's got the right energy to pull this off. A fave tour outfit of mine too.
Seungmin:
Absolutely underrated fave. Ghost!Gerard is comfortable and mischevious without putting in too much effort, which feels right up Seungmin's alley. I feel like he'd like the deviousness of having his identity totally hidden.
I.N:
I debated long and hard who gets the honor of my absolute favourite Gerard tour outfit, flamethrower cheerleader, and idc it just had to be thee Maknae on Top, Yang Jeongin. All of Skz would let him get away with arson murder and tbh they're right to do so. He wins.

man you guys had a lot to say about this one! here goes:
- he's awful but he's also how they came together
- i like the actor that plays him
- THE OG. mr inciting incident. my most underrated man saul rubinek. the absolute balls on this guy. might even still be out there you never know
- Not only the first and the one who accidentally helped bind together a world-class team and eventually sent them after himself - twice; but also the first echo/cast-caĺlback to the Nero Wolfe series.
- He consistently thinks he's better than the crew, but Nate keeps outsmarting him anyway. Plus, the fact that he and Latimer forced Nate into calling back some old favorites, there's a number of reasons to love The Last Dam Job. I will never get over the hacking with a clam thing
- Because he came back with a revenge plan and because he started this whole thing when he screwed the team over
- this guy kinda kickstarted the whole thing by being greedy and selfish enough to try and double-cross not just a group of thieves, but a man who was ROYALLY screwed by the system literal months prior by using his dead kid against him. He's arrogant, but just smart enough to be a threat as of The Last Dam Job, and even then his insistence that he "knows" the team better than Nate after all these years is one of the things that leads to his downfall. Seriously, fuck that guy.
Judge Roy
The Bank Shot Job
He commits to the bit, okay? I WILL turn this entire episode into a western and I WILL be the black-had domineering bad guy and I WILL refuse to have any semblence of self-awareness about it at any time!

- I really enjoyed having a Mark who "redeemed" themselves to. Plus, hes a goofy character, and seeing him a second time when I didn't expect it made me double take and laugh on my first watch.
Monica Hunter
The Three Days of the Hunter Job
- she's horrible and interesting and you get the most satisfaction from seeing her go down. also the bit where she's being interrogated by the army and she's like "it's okay I know that there *totally aren't* any secret bases ;-)" and the guy is so tired and like "yes that's bc there aren't any secret bases" and she's like "I know you have to say that ;-)" and he's right
- rip girl you would have loved qanon
- I love conspiracy theorists who don't even really believe in the awful stuff they make up (+ it's a terrible human being with the face of aunt zelda)

Man there’s a few marks I can’t help but feel viscerally bad for cause of how the crew preys on their fears and neuroses that they can’t help. So a little sympathy, and also like, affinity crimes are nasty fucking things but in terms of story it’s a nice change of pace from the usual white guys playing chess from their lofty towers

Hi, me again. I was the one that asked the favourite Oxventure series question. Feel free to just call me J (I may be popping back in and out again to ask questions anonymously (anon because just that extra layer of privacy while still being active, y'know?)).
This time around I just wanted to ask, if you had to pick one adventure from each of the series that you would consider your favourite, what would it be? (Don't have to answer for Deadlands since that ain't complete yet)
Because see for me, it'd probably be Plandemonium from D&D (just loved the utter chaos of planning that went on it that episode), YASP for One-Shot Wonder (again, utter chaos), Dead Man's Worth for Deadlands (twists and turns and Andy's smug face) and The Astor Gambit for BitD (1. Johnny is reason enough. 2. The Wonderful Mechanical Man was there).

d&d: heist society and a fishmas carol

heist society was the first ep of oxventure i ever watched (completely by accident lmao, i was so confused) so it holds a lot of nostalgia for me but i also think it’s one of the stronger episodes of early oxventure? i mean it has everything. red room full of blood. sexy minion outfits. I’VE RUN THE LABS. tinnies. what’s chess? fucking effervescent. everyone seems to have settled into roleplaying and d&d and i love a whodunnit mystery and there’s literally never a dull moment in that episode. a fishmas carol is also a close fave – the adventure pit, SHUT YOUR FILTHY MOUTH CORAZON!, cthuludad, alfred strangetide my beloved, egbert seeing the ninja turtle, IRON! but then again its so hard to pick favourites, especially with oxventure because the thing is about oxboxtra and johnny is that it's kinda impossible to put them in a room together and the outcome not be fucking hilarious. dine hard, also brilliant. ship happens. unreal estate. SECT APPEAL! basically every time i think of my fave i remember a different episode and change my mind.
sparrowhawk is my fave blades episode because it brought us The Aeronaughty Boys aka the best named group in oxventure history. but also because i think kasimir and barnaby/mike and johnny bounce off of each other so well? it’s classically opposites attract and so funny to watch hardened criminal kas be Astounded by barnaby’s scheming. and because i love the way johnny has a very proud expression on their face any time they watch luke dm, it’s so sweet. i also love a crimsnight carol because oh my god the capellenaga family and their snakey snakey hair (did we ever find out if lilith’s dad had snake body hair?) but also starting the adventure with the name evan “the geezer” screws was such a fucking power move and set the silly tone of the whole ep perfectly. also baby edvard my beloved. all iterations of edvard my beloved. andy was given so much space in which to play and play in it he did. other faves of mine are the astor gambit, murder at volisport academy (edvard's reaction to lilith's snake hair is so sweet), AND THE LAMPBLACK WEDDING HOW COULD I FORGET!? jane and ellen are such an underrated combo.
as for one shot wonder, admittedly i haven’t watched enough to really pass comment, as mentioned in the previous ask i struggle with new content/formats/guests and i desperately wish i didn’t. my mind just gets very fixed on something it likes The Way It Is and any change to that is immediately so very difficult to settle in to. autism things. but from what i have watched, the dread episode is fan-fucking-tastic. i wish we’d had time to get more into killian’s character because there was some foreshadowing that didn’t have a chance to go anywhere, madison (as all of ellen’s characters are) was immediately so intriguing, i refuse to believe that brad’s name isn’t actually gregg and, once again, when luke westaway gets his sticky gm paws on a game, you know it’s gonna be good.
deadlands is shaping up to be great, i love love LOVE. the accents and the aesthetic and the vibe of the weird west, it’s such a perfect game for andy to dm and as far as the episodes go, dead man’s worth part one is my favourite. the ending oh my GOD the ending. the first real pc death in oxventure! it’s such a tonal shift from what we’ve previously been given where situations have been perilous but never truly deadly. i was sobbing buckets because 1) somehow in less than two episodes johnny had made nate so very endearing and 2) it was such a tonal shift. andy’s shit-eating grin too oh my god. and luke and jane’s faces.
so again, it’s another essay from me going “i love this but i also love this and this and this”, it’s just so hard to choose favourites because, as i said before, i think it’s impossible for an oxventure to not be incredible. the chemistry between everyone just makes everything they touch turn to ttrpg gold. it’s literally the reason that i started this blog? i kept spamming my best friend with “oh my god _ just said-“ and whilst they welcomed/even encouraged that, consistently spamming them with a lot of d&d shit with no context (and then the subsequent context in a five minute voice note) wasn’t very conducive to me keeping my nearest and dearest near and dear and getting all the brainrot out somewhere. hence my personal corner of tumblr dot com. it’s all my favourite moments, every bit that makes me have to pause and take a stim break bc laughter isn’t enough, every silly line or tongue-in-cheek joke that just makes me incredibly happy. they’re all my favourites!

🍰 Name one of your fave comfort fics (doesn’t have to be your all time fave).
it's not dc, but "the sun is on our side (i know we'll be alright)" by huxian is one of, if not my absolute FAVORITE fic for persona 5. it has my two favs (haru and ryuji) being friends, romcom-level stupid shenanigans, and genuine honest feelings dealing with some of the hard hitting parts of the game. the two main ships are both dumbass4dumbass and i love all four of them. but for real haru & ryuji is suuuch a good combo. i love underrated brotps always.
💭 What is a headcanon you have about your own work?
i'd like to headcanon that it all gets finished and maybe even writes itself sometimes--
kjhdskj jokes aside hmm... in any given fic of mine there is always the implicit assumption that kon and bart are in a deeply loving and very committed qpr. they might not have the labels for it necessarily but that's what they are. bart WILL launch across the room to kiss him on the mouth for making some bitchin' pie, see if he doesn't. even if it's not mentioned in the fic bc it's not relevant to the plot, assume this is happening in the background.
🤔 What is the hardest part of writing fic?
starting it, for sure. i love outlining, and once i actually get going on the writing it tends to flow pretty easily for me. but getting into that flow? starting a new thing? AGONIZING.
🧠 What’s an idea you have that you can’t quite call a WIP yet?
my kon mixed kid identity issues manifesto... i need to do more reading abt kryptonian culture and more kara character reading before i can write it so it's kind of indefinitely on hold but the idea of kon grappling with wanting to learn more about his kryptonian heritage vs the knowledge that krypton has not always looked kindly on clones. and going to kara to try and learn more but having to deal with this deep-seated discomfort the more about krypton's history with clones he learns. it's about the knowledge that you can ache for and cling to a culture that you only get to know crumbs of in your own life, but you know a lot of the people you'd love to call your people would not want you. and (this is the part i BIG need to do more kara reading on so it's a very tentative idea, but) the idea of kon's conflict introducing some conflict for kara - it's hard to want to preserve and cling to your culture when it's gone, while being forced to reckon with some parts of it being uglier than you want to remember it being. it's the superfam immigrant metaphors again. i feel a lot of ways about those.

MY TIME HAS COME
so just as a fair warning my music taste is also no music taste i just tend to slap songs on my playlist i think sound good instead of thinking about genres and stuff lol. but anyway!
ANYTHING by ichinose lupo or irucaice! these two are probably my top producers and i think they're hella underrated
for specific songs i always gotta drop roki and ego rock! also unknown mother goose is a top pick and i promise if i can go to miku expo this year if they play this i will CRY. baimee baimee is my wild card fave it's stupid underrated
i could go on for a while longer but honestly one of my favorite things to do is go on youtube and look for vocaloid songs with less than 100k views and give those a chance! a lot of them sound super good (ESPECIALLY the ones below 20k) and def need some love, i think a sizeable chunk of my playlist is made up of these low-view songs because admit it as much as we all love world is mine we sometimes need a break from the 56th playlist that includes it lol. a few sleep hits i'm really enjoying as of late are cinematograph and shiny candy loveism
