I got a cookie box for my birthday and it's the best cookie box ever created. It was handmade by my sister decorated with the full Dragon Age inquisition (yes they are...all...here. No one missing I swear!) It even had some dragon age cookies decorated with dragon age icing ;____; I love it so much.
And talking of icing,, the real show stopper is the big Solavellan painting on top, featuring Celwyn, my lovely Inquisitor.
Best Gift ever.

I was listening to My Love Will Never Die by AG & Claire Wyndham and couldn't NOT imagine Solas and Lavellan, so i did the only sensible thing and wrote the song out in elvish to hurt myself even more.

There's something immensely tragic about a Lavellan who romances Solas and has the Valleslin taken from the face. Even beyond just the concept of "Solas shattering their heart and leaving them" especially if the option to disband the inquisition was taken.
Once the world is saved what will they do? Do they return to their clan knowing full well what the markings on their face mean while also incapable of saying why theirs are gone? Do they opt to avoid everything and reject the life they knew, breaking their own heart once more to avoid shattering anyone else's?
A person who only years before had been someone with a normal life, a family potentially, someone sent to assist their clan and keep an eye on the humans who then got more than they could've ever hoped, fell in love with the wrong person and changed faster than they could keep up with.
And sure their companions give them alternatives if they're friends with them, sure they have other places to go. But it won't ever be the same.
This isn't even to mention the fact that Solas is planning for something that will kill almost everyone they know. Everyone solas should care for outside of the inquisitor may be a casuality in this and he accepts it, hopes that Lavellan will accept it as well. But how can they so easily while still processing the hurt they feel?
Solas will mention how short sighted he views the inquisitor to be if he hates them enough. How short sighted are his own actions if tells someone he loves a world changing truth only to abandon them so soon after.
