good morning!! <3

#finished up the little anniversary game yesterday #so now i need to actually progress the penacony quest #so that's the main plan for today #(i've just been lazy about it the last few days)#(and the fact that it's already kinda overcast isn't boding well lol)#but i did manage to write a little thing last night!#so i'm happy there :3 #so i guess my other plan for today/tonight is to come up with tags and whatnot :3 #hah i feel like that's a constant state for me #(though with the games i play constantly bringing out new characters to befriend or w/e it's not a surprise)#anyways~#i hope today/tonight is a good one ^^#morning rambles

#robin processes emotions on main #would it be evil to stay home from family thanksgiving because I don't think I can do all my homework if I go. would it be selfish #it probably would be selfish #I'm just feeling overwhelmed tonight because I remembered All Of The Homework due on Tuesday next week and I was planning #to do most of that homework today but there's more than I thought and I also chose to do a thanksgiving dinner and online games #with the uncle who also stayed home from family thanksgiving this year. and it was fantastic and I wouldn't trade that for the world #but it was last minute and I'm SO OVERWHELMED NOW 😭#and I just DROPPED THE PIZZA SAUCE from the pizza he bought me and it was just the last straw folks. now there's pizza sauce #on the floor and tears in my eyes and my throat hurts. and I'm aware this whole upset is selfish but STILL #still #wellllll anyway sorry #big sniff #I'm fine and everything will be fine this is just a lose/lose situation #also I'm not feeling well physically and driving four hours tomorrow for a stressful event sounds really sucky :(#four hours round trip for like six hours in person

#haunted ecosystem #this is not helping with how much my hands hurt on a daily basis this is why i type and dont handwrite/draw very much.#im lured in regardless and i really need to find an artform that doesnt Hurt but for now. digital art <3 #like theres a difference between my dumb doodles (quick easy not much different from regular computer usage) and actual art #but im an artist at heart i spent sooooo long being an artist and thinking i was shit at writing. that is wrong! im actually kinda good #im rambling in tags today because i have been not social (my partner is in genshin hell and my beloved is. somewhere.)#okay but on another note i reread the first. couple chapters of wtds this morning? the pacing is a little weird and the tense is fucked #but its actually a lot better than i thought it was? you can tell i was fleshing everybody out in my head and i totally forgot about how #i described the watcher [who i am STILL redacting the name of until we get there] and just. ough. pandora being very logical #and then jumping to the latest chapter and fucking sobbing because i forgot about how it went and just. pandora and his.#whatever the fuck is wrong with him.#i have gotta start recommending people read that again. its surprisingly friendly without context because of how i approached it #that fic has taught me so many things its actually a little comical. it also made me relearn how to make and write ocs so thats fun #once i finish that main fic (and i WILL i am actually planning to sign up for a thing. im finishing it i swear.) i finally get to show off #more of the world and characters ive crafted. showing backstories and what-ifs and all these oneshots ive been keeping close to my chest #for like absolutely ages because i dont want any spoilers on my tumblr #and. im finishing that fic in pseudo-memoriam of somebody who deleted their accounts everywhere. still miss you dane!#ok this has completely gone off topic ily tumblr im going back to drawing and i might make a new pfp #it'll still be lavius but it'll be fray lavius since i think about him a lot and i like his color palette.

well everyone now that sparkstember is over i can now devote my energy to being insane in other still sparks-related ways

#planning my next projects #on the one hand glad to not have to get a whole video done in the span of like 2 hours every day #on the other hand it was a fun creative challenge that gave me a sense of purpose. it was fun #but i need to keep myself busy as we descend into winter and ✨seasonal depression✨#if i dont get it done today over the next couple days im going to make something silly for goofball's upcoming birthday #and then once that's done i dont know. i want to get back to work on my screenplay and try to FINISH IT!! but idk how long that'll take #i also have to finally finish watching that film course i bought oops. maybe ill start it over #and then?????????#i have a vague Idea of a possible short film i could make. that would also be like a kind of prequel to my Main Film Idea #and its something i could actually reasonably do as a short film and its not like insanely big budget like every other idea i have is #and I'm debating abt emailing my old film teacher and being like heyyyyy maybe you could help me make this short film????#but id want to have this idea way more planned out and written before then. but OUGH WRITING ANOTHER SCREENPLAY???#WHEN I HAVEN'T EVEN FINISHED MY FIRST ONE??? sigh.#the road to making my Big Great Movie is long and arduous. will we get there. who knows #oh also debating abt writing a letter to those silly guys. but i don't knowwwww #OH lmao i keep forgetting to mention i finally got my passport (it actually came earlier than expected)#so like. goodbye everyone im heading to the sydney opera house on halloween (JOKE i am not that insane. but i wish i could)

#today is probably the best day I've had in a very very long time #i took a long shower did some pretty thorough skin care which are my favourite self care activities #finally restocked my toiletries #actually started the book i need to do for my essay #i haven't felt this good in probably a concerning amount of time lol #and now I'm going to tap out #I'm hoping I have enough energy to work on this fic #I'm a little disappointed that i didn't post it today like i would have liked to but hey i made significant progress in other areas of my #life today #it feels nice and it's also nice reminding myself that i can do these things without wearing myself thin #rj talks #also i think everyday i grow more and more grateful that i chose to take a gap year #lowkey it's the main thing pushing me through this last stretch #just the thought of finally getting a break #I'm so excited for all the writing plans i have ontop of the gap year plans you guys have no idea #you're going to be sick of how much i post lol #not to jinx things but

todays free tip to any fellow creatives or literally just whoever

if you get an idea, write it down

even if it feels like it might be stupid. even if it just a word or a line or piece of dialogue or a simple concept or whatever. just write it down

even if its not enough to stand on its own as a full piece, maybe you can add it as a part of something later. even if it sounds stupid now, it might be the most brilliant thing when the time comes to use it. or maybe someone else will love that little addition when you add it in. even if you might think its above your skill level, there might be a day when you look at it and actually say to yourself "im ready" and you know you are and you can work with it and be happy with it

just write it down

#ive had something very specific on my writing list since i started keeping an updated one from last april forwards #and today. its been like 10 months. i finally got a solid actual idea for it and feel like with everything ive been writing recently #i can do it justice and be happy with it #few days ago while scrolling through my list i thought about deleting that same specific thing cause i thought i would use it #and here we are. planning a one shot around it in a way i know im happy and comfortable using it #just. write it down. you never know when youre ready and it might come in handy #thats all. im gonna try to get rid of my body pains so i can focus on writing yay. i might need more coffee in me hmm #night is an absolute mess on main
