But it also gives me some wiggle-room to play with here. The Thanagarians make decent spies among the humans bc they can pass for human, and won't die of lead poisoning like the Daxamites. So that bit about Fel Andar being a spy preceding the Alliance's invasion makes sense. It's also easy enough to imagine there were other spies, all over the planet, connected by a tightly-controlled information web that still keeps each cell in isolation...
