If I had a nickel for every time a random kid appeared at eye-level with me when I'm sitting by my window working on a project on my computer in my first floor (not ground floor) apartment I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened twice

#noopa rambles #at my uni apartment a kid climbed on a massive pile of snow that was right by my window #I got hella spooked then bc there was no reason anyone should be that high off the ground there sjsjsk #this time the explanation is far more reasonable #my building has this. one storey high section that is sorta under my apartment #like it goes for about 1/3 length of the balcony #and there's a staircase leading up to it but there's a gate in front of the stairs that's usually locked I believe #sometimes during the summer the maintenance people mow the grass roof and stuff #so it's not the first time a person has been there #I'm personally so tempted to jump down to it from my balcony #but it is slightly lower than my balcony and the balcony railing is quite high #so I'd rather not risk jumping down with force and going through the roof or smt djdkd #like even if it's a good roof for walking etc jumping down on it would be different #but anyhow i can't Believe this has now happened twice lmao
