Are there any non-humans in Monster High that are not considered a type of monster?
In g1 we have CA Cupid! She used to go to Monster High before transferring and shes a greek goddess, not a monster. Posea isnt a student but she is a part of the franchise and I'd argue shes a godess as well. I dont really consider either of them to be monsters.
I do wonder about mermaids and whether or not they're considered monsters? We have great scarrier reef where the ghouls all turn into mermaids, and also Finnigan exists. With the existence of Meeshell over in Ever After High. To me it kind of implies that mermaids are a kind of monster and shes more the exception than the rule... I wonder if the underwater world has its own cultural distinctions as well, if you consider how the reef dwellers treat the kraken.
Jinafire and Isi as well count more as mythological/magical creatures than they do monsters in my book.
Invisi Billy actually is one where I'm puzzled. MH doesn't really stick to the lore it pulls from in terms of Universal Studio Classics, obvi, but technically Billy's dad was a human man who fell into a science experiment. Billy in my mind fits in a weird grey zone where hes lumped in with monsters and considers himself part of that community but falls out of most peoples definition of what a monster is. But hes different enough to not he counted as human. 🤔
Also, technically speaking, I don't think ghosts consider themselves to be monsters in g1? Like they exist in their own dimension, and Spectra's family choosing to move to the monster world is seen as kinda scandalous. Monster society I'd say views ghosts as monsters but its not a label all ghosts subscribe too.
G3 lore states that everything is a monster type though, even humans. So in that universe the answer is no.

Nooooo but literally. How he immediately discredits any bad word against Rody! It defo made me more convinced that the reason the party ended was because Rody's ex classmate made fun of Rody (and it is mentioned by one of the guests that Vincent can hear Rody very clearly from over there, there's no way he didn't notice that whole scene). I do wonder exactly what was said, since he's not afraid to be brutal to anyone that's not Rody.
If a customer ever treated Rody like shit in the typical way customers act towards service workers I don't think Vince would be too happy lmao.

-villagers are descendants of elephants
-piglins won’t attack if you wear gold bcuz it’s a sign of peace. as an outsider, you’re a visitor, and if you steal, you’re gonna get attacked. dunno my full idea, but they hate the overworld due to sickness and the ancient builders. maybe some sort of experiment to deal with the zombie problem.
-you, the player, are a type of golem. a last resort for the ancient builders. one day, you awaken. all other humans are long gone, but you’re the backup plan. and you don’t (usually) have to worry about the permanence of death. you just do whatever you feel like with no memory of who made you.
-the reason why redstone exists in the ancient city is because it was an attempt to activate the portal. whatever opened it is lost to time and to the skulk that came from the other side. also skulk is fungus.
-fungus runs the game, man. everything is fungus. fungus is good.

And what if Tom is her MJ?
What if she finally defeated her biggest obstacle in Shanghai and both she and Tom settled in Paris, hoping that they’ve finally achieved peace in their personal lives? Only to find out that their daughter is the heroine of Paris all this time as Ladybug?
And all of this comes to light because of a universe collision/blip or an akuma attack that gets all the spideys in one place or something something???

There are a lot of vampire hunters out there. Any human can be a vampire hunter, not anyone can be good at it of course, so many have died even trying to get close to a vampire.
But I think it’s different to be a Van Helsing. They are definitely more dangerous to the vampires and it is of course against the rules to have an intimate relationship with them for both sides (not having anyone in mind, just saying of course, it’s not like there is a canon thing on the show or anything).
The first Van Helsing was born relatively recently, in the 18th century, called Abraham Van Helsing. He wrote a book with all the ways to kill a vampire and everything about the vampires he knew. The book still exists, notes added as the new hunters follow his steps. Whether they were Van Helsings or not, vampire hunters often raised their family that way...
Being a Van Helsing basically makes you a natural vampire killer: you don’t need proper training and your first instinct is to kill them, they could kill one before they are even aware of it. Even before Van Helsings encounter their first vampire, there is a part of them that always knew they exist… They don't have to train to kill, but if they are, if they study about it... then well, it really makes them number one vampire enemy...
When it comes to Guillermo, he was not raised as a vampire slayer, his grandma tried to shield her family from it. He didn't grow up hating them, on the contrary. Still, years later, he started killing vampires, first in self-defense and then to protect the ones he cares about. He has never talked to his family about it, even though now he knows they are Van Helsings too. He doesn't know that there is a book and perhaps a society out there. But still, he has killed more vampires than any other vampire hunter in decades, perhaps ever since Abraham. And... He uses his lineage to protect vampires.

I’m just gonna leave some Eddie family headcanons
His mom and dad divorced when he was a young adult, mostly cause they just drifted apart as the years went on. They’re still good friends and talk often
His mom remarried, and her husband has a son and daughter. He’s kind but he has a rocky relationship with the twins cause he remarried soon after his wife died. Holly took it to heart and hates him for it. Wallace is hurt to but he still wants his dad’s validation so he doesn’t say anything
Eddie has an older brother Henry, an older sister Olga, and his two twin step siblings, Holly and Wallace (Holly doesn’t like him rip)
He’s never been an older brother before so he kinda screws up when trying to be one to the twins, but he tries and Wallace can appreciate it. Holly doesn’t spend any time with him so she doesn’t care
His mom taught him to play piano and he plays all the time when he visits
He was in charge of keeping the gardens healthy and growing, he’s fond of the flowers that would grow
Halfway through this kinda became me lore dumping about my ocs Holly and Wallace I’m sorry :,)

In my version of his family his brother is the eldest, with his sister in the middle. She's older than Eddie by a year while his brother is 6 years older than him.
