My review on "Snoopy come home"
"Snoopy come home" is where snoopy TRULY shows his true colors. In the short film, Snoopy is nothing but an asshole to all the children in the neighborhood for no FUCKING reason, as-well to his former owner, Lila.
He literally leaves without saying goodbye to anyone, after receiving the letter from Lila. Then he turns around and acts like he fucking cares. If I was at Snoopy's going away party id be pleased as punch, it would be a fucking miracle for me. If only he actually cared about Lila and stayed then maybe I wouldn't hate him as much. I still hate him, of course, but what he did to Lila was so fucked up it just fed into my hatred.
NOT TO MENTION, HIS FUCKING STUPID ASS DECIDED TO SHAKE HER FUCKING HAND INSTEAD OF GIVING A PROPER GOODBYE. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CRY LIKE A FUCKING BABY IN THE BEGINNING AND ACT LIKE YOU CARE ONLY TO TURN AROUND AND BE A TWO FACED BASTARD BEAGLE. IF I WAS LILA, I WOULD'VE CALLED ANIMAL CONTROL ON HIS ASS! and that bitchass bird too. He's guilty by association.
Charlie brown should've never welcomed him back. All the other kids were justified for hating him in the end. He literally just came back because he got all those fucking gifts, in conclusion, snoopy is a self centered, asshole, who should've been left in the woods. There is NO DOGS ALLOWED for a reason. He should've stayed with Klara FOREVER! HE DESERVED THAT, HE HAD IT COMING.

Re-watching Snoopy Come Home and I can't help but wonder, how many people knew that Snoopy had a previous owner before Charlie Brown?
And that Snoopy goes to visit her in the hospital both in the comics and cartoon? Her name is Lila btw.
Would have been interesting to see her interact with Charlie Brown I think. The two owners fighting over the best beagle XD

Anyone Sorta Feel Snoopy Liked Lila More Than Charlie Brown?
I’ve been thinking about “Snoopy Come Home” lately, and honestly I feel like there’s a chance Snoopy actually legit liked Lila over Charlie Brown.
Now don’t get me wrong, I know Snoopy was crying so sad to leave Charlie Brown + everyone when he left for Lila in “Snoopy Come Home”, and was so happy to see the sign and come back to Charlie Brown.
But at the same time, if you really think about it, when Snoopy found out Lila was sick in the hospital, what did he do?
Snoopy immediately rushed to the hospital as fast as he could, saying Lila needs him. He traveled all that way to see her, even staying nights in the wilderness + under a bridge, and the two were even crying together once they were reunited.
When Snoopy knew that Charlie Brown was sick in the hospital during some strips in the 1970s, what did he do?
Nothing, Snoopy didn’t give a care about Charlie Brown at all.
In fact during the time Charlie Brown was in the hospital everyone else showed that they really cared about him deep down despite how they often treat him.
In fact, even LUCY, of all people, actually showed more care towards Charlie Brown during that than Snoopy lmao
Not to mention that in the comics, Snoopy even actually said once that he “loved Lila more than life itself”.
Meanwhile with Charlie Brown all Snoopy does is act rude, is almost always never really there for him when he is bullied or wanting a friend, and is quick to abandon him many times before.
(There are many times where Snoopy will act like a jerk towards the other kids too not just CB, and he won’t care lol)
Now I know that Snoopy does care about Charlie Brown deep down, and he was so happy to go back to him, I'm not making this to hate on Snoopy or say he is always horrible to Charlie Brown, because that’s not true.
But at the same time the main reason Snoopy went back to Charlie Brown was because of the "No Dogs Allowed" sign. If that sign wasn’t there, what would he have done? Is there a small chance that Snoopy could have permanently stayed with Lila?
What do you think?

Nothing has ever portrayed utter despair and melancholy as well as that scene in Snoopy Come Home where Charlie Brown can't sleep after Snoopy leaves and he gets up to eat but can't and then he just keeps sitting up and laying back down over and over in bed, nothing will ever potray that feeling better than that scene did.
