(Anosmia is being unable to smell things)

Fun Fact About Me: I was born with a Very Limited Sense of Smell, like I can count the number of things I'll smell in a month on one hand-type bad, so most things that people talk about Having Smells [flowers, cigarettes, cologne, shampoo, most foods, ect.] are Too Weak for me to be able to pick up on. BUT, here's the Twist, I Can smell Vinegar and I fucking Love It. Probably my Favourite Smell ever. I only figured out that Different Flowers Smell Different like Last Week [I asked someone], and I still can't imagine what Wood smells like, but I will Never Get Tired of the smell of Vinegar. Fucking Exhilarating. Yahoo

Anyone have any ideas on this? I've always had a not good sense of smell. I can smell some things, but not everything and sometimes I can smell things and sometimes I can't smell that same thing another day.

Wut I'm most curious about is my lack of smell for people's scents or body odor.

When I used to be in P.E, ppl legit started crying because of how bad this one dude smelled, but I never detected it. And one of my friends I became friends with because everyone thought they smelled like garbage, but I never smelled it and so we talked together. I can't smell if someone has perfume or cologne on. Not if someone smells nice or bad, even when I'm physically close to them for a while (like when cuddling) I can't tell.

But I can smell some food.

I can smell a bad cat box sometimes.

Flowers (but they tend to smell bad).

Just not ppl ever (not stranger nor friend or anything in between) and I don't know why. The only time I smelled something on someone was when someone I knew tried a rose lotion and it smelled god awful.

i had to use mum and dad's ensuite bathroom earlier, they have a new different soap bar.

already don't like soap bars, they give horrible waxy feel on hands, and irritate skin. but this one have the worst smell. i am very sensitive to smell, like can smell people before i see them, can smell things don't even register to other people's senses.

i touch my face absentmindedly a lot, and as part of stimming. i play with my lips a lot especially, and put hands in mouth.

every time i put my hands near my face, i smell the bad soap, and nearly gag. i even try wash hands with different soap (nice smell body wash) to cover the smell, but it is so strong that it is back!!

worst worst thing. bad orange soap bar. yuck.

Okay I need some CDD to CDD feedback

I recently (months ago, lol) realized that I have a worse perception of colors than other alters in my system. Shades and cool tones are hard for me, while others in my system can get a perfect score on those color tests.

But today I just realized I can’t make out the clock from my work bend?? (While others can)

I wear glasses, but .. ?? has anyone else experienced differences like this?

I guess I just can’t wrap my head around why there would be a difference between us. Same eye balls??

I'm glad you all think I'm well articulated because I've had two bloody noses today, throw up in my mouth every time I get a notification, haven't left my bed in 6 hours, eaten anything since yesterday afternoon, or brushed my teeth. So. Sunshine and rainbows everybody I'm doing great.

why does food smell so good but not taste exactly the way it smells i feel betrayed

personally if i was felix i would do things to allow oliver to express his deranged sense of love

sometimes im cooking a nice meal for myself and i hear an old voice in my head telling me to be careful dont use so much olive oil dont put cheese on top dont fill your bowl so high. and then i remember i answer to neither god nor man. like sorry to the people who want your body to look a certain way but i’d rather uhhh fuck like hell.
