Since the arguments about Wolfwoods age is beginning to start up again. Info taken from this post by @tantei-armin . As well, here's another post with screen caps from the manga. Both Livio and Wolfwood are legally adults.
Also, if you don't like something? Block the tag, block the people, don't try to wage a puritanical war. Much love and peace ✌️
Edit (same day as posted): Some people are wondering in the tags where this is coming from, so I thought I'd clear it up for those who are confused.
This rumour comes from the manga panels which talk about how from the serum and surgeries Wolfwood's metabolism is faster, and so he doesn't look the age he should look. Since Wolfwood was never explicitly given a set number for his age, and if you're not paying attention to the context, some people have assumed this meant that he's actually still a minor at the time trigun is set, while in reality he's been confirmed to be in his early/mid twenties, and so would look like he's in his late twenties/early thirties (and it would make very little sense for Stampede to have changed the ages for the characters). It's alright to be a bit confused, since it's not ever explicitly stated; however, this rumour that he's a minor has then been used as slander for ship wars. I've only seen one recent post calling Vashwood an underage ship, but it looks like it was a bit of an issue in the old fandom, and I (and I think most people) would prefer the newer fandom to avoid that if possible. Again, just going to reiterate using the blocking function liberally for things you don't like!
Edit (Apr 15): as another person so kindly explained on a reblog it wasn't actually a problem in the old fandom; it's always been a small minority of people, often those who are against queer relationships in the first place, who've used it as a way to slander others.

to sit behind a screen and discredit daniel’s technical input is beyond insane to me. i can tell some of you are fresh out of the womb because anyone with a brain knows how vital he was to red bull during his first stint and also what he was able to do with renault. he’s been back in the red bull family for almost 10 months now and you think in that time he hasn’t influenced anything?? not even 1 thing?? you think they stuck him in the sim for funsies?? recency bias is a disease, get help <3

vaguing a post that's on my dash that I don't want to engage with (as usual) but actually no CPTSD isn't a diagnosis for 'when things were a tiny bit bad a lot' or 'if you experienced relationships that were toxic but not abusive' it's a diagnosis describing the impacts of CONTINUOUS TRAUMA. not less significant but more frequent trauma; trauma which is ongoing/continuous/recurring in developmental years.
like I'm not trying to gatekeep here and I recognise the value of saying 'it doesn't have to be a Single Big Obvious Trauma' because one key thing about CPTSD is that generally it makes traumatic incidents Your Normal so you don't necessarily view them as unusual or concerning. but I often see people talk about CPTSD as if it implies smaller individual incidents than PTSD and that just is not the case.
most experiences I have seen people be diagnosed with CPTSD for (myself included) are not 'a little bit toxic'. they are things which, each incident taken separately, an outsider would still recognise as traumatic - medical emergencies, rape and sexual abuse, significant physical violence, emotional abuse and coercive control, homelessness, severe poverty, war, torture, etc - and the thing that makes the PTSD C is not the relative level of the trauma, but the fact that it's enough of a repeated and consistent pattern, at an early enough stage, and sufficiently embedded in everyday life, that it becomes a person's baseline for 'normal'.
CPTSD is not a synonym for emotional microtraumas or cumulative trauma or 'death by a thousand cuts'. It's specifically defining the psychological differences in response to long term formative trauma as opposed to traumatic events which you process as an aberration (eg the difference between regular violence against you from trusted adults in childhood vs being physically abused for the first time in adulthood with existing experience of healthy relationships). Traumas causing CPTSD tend to be pretty similar in type, scale and severity to traumas causing standard PTSD - they are just more embedded and normalised earlier in life.
all this to say there's nothing wrong with acknowledging that cumulative microtraumas can't affect us in traumatic ways. there's nothing wrong with pointing out that there's a broad range of types of trauma, and trauma can include stuff like growing up marginalised or ill as well as abuse, war, injury or immediate loss. there's nothing wrong, too, with acknowledging that a lot that is traumatic doesn't necessarily feel traumatic to you.
but like. no. CPTSD is not a diagnosis for people whose trauma wasn't 'big enough' for PTSD. CPTSD is not cumulative microtraumas. CPTSD is a response to formative macrotraumas or to a long term traumatic situation without hope of escape or change and if you want to talk about microtraumas then do that but it's not what CPTSD is!

I’m gonna brag on myself for a minute because my self-confidence has been shit lately (thanks winter, for your annual crushing blow to my ego!) but I am, in fact, really good at language acquisition. Like, heretofore it was kind of a stupid superpower that I had never once thought to use for Good
which is why, when I had some kind of visitation from The Lort Almightee last summer and They were like "heyy how about you do something to tangibly improve the place where you live. and also start supporting tribal sovereignty. immediately"
I was like (falling out of my chair, trembling) "uhhhhhh I can learn languages weirdly fast??" and lo, God threw the newly-created UMN Dakota Language major directly in my face and Commanded, "GET TO WORK BITCH"

i feel with lesbians, and im allowed to say this because im a lesbian, but honestly the punishment of individual lesbians is almost incidental compared to the fact its literally about making an example out of us. its like theres a potential lesbian in every woman and thats really who is being punished. straight women’s fear of acquiring that status VASTLY outweighs my actual lived discomfort as a lesbian. so much of the homophobia i experience stems from the perceived impossibility of my existence and the need to present me as repulsive, not directly to punish ME but to make other women afraid of being like me. so arguing like who would specifically be perceived as a lesbian in what situation feels so shallow when literally every woman is on some level perceived as like. a threat of hypothetical lesbian possibility

Can you post about your tav/dark urge from bg3? Share any other game opinions you may have please
Of course! Here comes Blaethe (she/they) (32)- an Old One warlock with the street urchin background
Tbh I headcannoned them as a Dark Urge character but it’s recommended you do a Durge run post game so I’m going Tav run first
Regardless, her left eye is fake (hi Wyll eyeball bestie!!!) her backstory parallels Astarions with her having a near death experience and changed by a supernatural power (in this case what is, essentially, a space ghost)
They’re charisma is VERY high, like 18 or smthn - RP wise this is account of her street smarts, they’re very good at I guess personal politics? Knowing what to say and when to get desired results (usually to diffuse/assist/protect/advance.) That said, Blaethe is autistic! So again sharing similarities w/Astarion with masking vs unmasking
They’re major flaws are living in extremes (so like, show no emotion or lose complete control and lash out) and RAMPANT theft (mostly from corpses)
As for the Astarion aspect of her life, to quote a bestie, they “approach each other like scared chihuahuas” - Blaethe can’t fathom someone being attracted to them (lots of Dysmorphia from years of injuries) but is DEEPLY starved for an intimate/genuine relationship - Astarion back peddles at these attempts but often feels abandoned when she doesn’t flirt back (the tism is STRONK.) His favorite thing to do is tease them with loud and flamboyant acts of PDA :p
And here are some little doodles
