My favourite trope of a time travel plot in a drama has got to be finding out the other person is also a time traveller through BTS (listening to music that should be unreleased yet)
The number of times I have watched a kdrama just because BTS was mentioned in a scene without bothering to read about the plot is actually crazy lol

Sisyphus the Myth. 7
Story: 7
Acting: 10
Chemistry: 10
Comparable to: Alice (kdrama) ; Alive (kmovie) ; Grid (kdrama); Train (kdrama)
The drama that that could’ve been. I know a lot of kdrama fans had so many problems with this one and yes there are many glaring problems with it, plot holes galore, inconsistencies all around, and a wtf type ending, but…..yes but despite all that if you’re a die hard sci-fi dystopian/time travel romance genre fan then you probably might still like this. I threw out all logic, all plot holes, and switched off my brain and enjoyed the cinematography, chemistry, and the acting which were done really well. It’s by far from perfect but still very watchable and enjoyable (*minus the ending* seriously were they hoping for a sequel)

Sisyphus: the myth - review
And that’s a wrap. The story of Sisyphus: the myth has been completed. I first thought that Sigma was Sisyphus but I was wrong. Han Tae-sul was Sisyphus. He cheated death by starting the process of creating the uploader. Just like Sisyphus from the Greek myth also cheated death. Sisyphus was punished for it by being forced to roll a big stone up a hill for eternity. Tae-sul was fated to have an ending leading to his death. It showed. Because even when he had killed Sigma, another enemy came in his way. That punishment was his fate for having created the uploader. If it wasn’t for the myth it would have been possible for Tae-sul and Seo-hae to win, but this drama was all about the myth after all. And only Tae-sul could stop all this by ending his ending his life. That was the only way the existence of the uploader and even the idea of it could be gone.
I enjoyed watching this drama a lot. I think it was full of beautiful deep references and amazing suspense till the very end! This drama taught us a lot about regrets and how you should really think well about the things you do in the now, before you will regret the things you didn’t do, in the future. Not that having regrets is wrong, but more that it’s important to try to think well about what really matters most in the decisions you make now.
This was my first drama with Park Shin-Hye in it and I fell in love with her acting. I will definitely be watching more of her! Also she had such amazing chemistry in this drama with Jo Seung-Woo! I was really impressed by it! Honestly I loved many characters in this drama and I loved the plot too. There was a lot I loved about this drama.
I would recommend watching this one but do know what you’re watching. This drama has no happy fairytale ending, yet no horror ending either. It’s more the kind of drama in which you need to solve a puzzle till the very end while being surrounded by lots of suspense and questions. Even after finishing the drama I still had many questions I had to talk about with people or find answers for online until I finally understood everything well. But that also made it fun and interesting to me.
But that also made it fun and interesting to me. I think it makes the plot quite impressive, the complications of it, yet it continuously staying interesting to watch. But yeah be aware for this drama you sometimes have to think quite hard and deep and you also have to stay focused very well in order to keep understanding everything well.
So if you’re up for a drama that is fun to watch as well as it making your brain work hard. If you’re interested in a drama with sci-fi, thriller and action elements. If you’re up for seeing a female warrior lead trying to save the world while also falling in love. If you love some great suspense. And if you want to even see a little bit of BTS/Army related scenes, this is the one to watch.

I am full support of Park Shin Hye as an action/ horror girly. I think she suits those roles, and have been really liking her most recent films and dramas. I hope she continues to go this direction rather than a rom-com/ melo Route. also congrats on her child and marriage!
