Sir Uther is the founding father of the G.S.A! Pioneer of the many generations of Star Warriors!
He's also the literal father of Sir Arthur....and he makes sure EVERYBODY knows it! He's extremely prideful of his son and of his own achievements! At first, he may look rather laid back...but you'll see that he's a wise-crackin' old geezer who's always telling jokes to raise moral!
A great father AND a great leader? He's just the best! And he's willing to literally take ANYBODY with potential into his army! No matter how morally questionable they are!

Kni-Kni Lullaby Part 1
Had they all listened to Kirby... they would've figured it what it was... They will soon enough... (to be continued)
Kirby just wanted his lullaby from his papa~
Meta Knight has an incredible singing voice but is extremely shy about it (he doesn't think his voice is that good) and Kirby wants nothing less than his papa's singing voice.
(Lore/ backstory)
Dragato and Meta Knight were captured during the siege of N.M.E's Labe (which I will explain later because of spoilers), and Team Halberd had to go and save MK. The rescue was led by non-other Sir Arthur... needless to say, they all came in clutch.
To make a long story short, Jerca & Garlude were sent out to scout ahead for Meta Knight. They found him within an inch of his life... with him cradling the tiniest baby in his arms... they instantly knew, "We need to protect this baby..."
However, they're not out of the woods yet: while escaping, they spot none other than... SIR UTHER?! He was slinking around the containment unit where Kirby was... They knew something was up, so they hid away with Meta Knight's cape.
~Dialouge
Sir Uther: Keep quiet! I don't want anyone to know I'm here...
Uther's Subordinate: They're all in the outer building... Sir Uther, why didn't you inform Sir Arthur that you were coming-
Sir Uther: BECAUSE I DON'T NEED THAT USELESS BLOODY FOOL TO INTERFERE SAVE ANOTHER MISTAKE OF NATURE!...
Sir Uther: (Makes a horrific reveal-and intentions for Kirby)
And the trio finds out something... something they shouldn't have...Something awful. All three were frozen in horror... and at that moment, Kirby was clutching onto Meta Knight for dear life. As if he knew of Uther's dangerous intention. Swiftly, Sir Uther leaves in search of Kirby...
In response to this:
Jerca: AW, HELL NAW... NOT THIS BABY!
Garlude: Oh that MOTHERF*CKER...
MK: We go... we have to go now... we have to hide him..."
When the trio finally returns to the safety of their ship, Meta Knight reveals the newest little member of their family to the rest of the team, hiding away under his cape... (they all fell in love with Kirby instantly and swore to protect him)
That was 3 weeks ago~
Since then Meta Knight has been on recovery leave, and the higher-ups (Sir Uther) wanted to interview (integrate) him on his capture and what he had possibly found.

In MK's thoughts POV: (Nothing, just an astral baby that I plan to keep hidden from you & your filthy hands... You f*cking piece of- )
~
So while Meta Knight was at this B.S. interview, the crew thought wanted give MK a break tonight with Kirby, and everything was going great... that is until bedtime rolled around.
Putting Kirby to sleep was always a daunting task: he would cry non-stop and refused to sleep. Until Meta Knight would come in to soothe him... and whisk him away in private ... making him the only one able to put him to sleep.
Kirby always favored Meta Knight, so no one really questioned it... Jecra, however, was the only one starting to notice the pattern...
The crew managed to distract him (from the fact MK wasn't there) by playing with him and feeding him (they lost half the fridge), but when Kirby realized Meta Knight wasn't going to be the one to put him to bed... he lost it! He runs to find Meta Knight.
Kirby just wanted his lullaby from his papa~ He just has high standards for nap time and for good reason...

This is a good time to introduce two members of M.K's crew:
Sir Perry (Peridot Fleur De Lis) Non binary - They/ them
-The youngest & precious been of the group
-former thief/ indentured servant
-forced to join the GSA, family and sold them to pay off their debt
Sir Avery (Avery Lohengrin) Female - She/ her
-She is basically like Pearl from Steven Universe, but a more laid-back version
-peacekeeper/ mother hen of the team
-choose to join the GSA to run away from an arranged marriage
I have more on them later...
Garlude and Sir Gregory (another crew member I named) will be making an appearance in part 2, as well as a maskless Jecra (a little tease for now~)
There's also a reason why Meta Knight is so in-tuned with Kirby... I tried to hint at it while Meta Knight was holding Kirby... but that will be revealed later in the comic.

So are there any fics where people just assume Arthur is batshit crazy?
Bradley who isn't called Arthur in this timeline was always a promising young lad, his parents helped him with his somewhat odd hobbies of archery and fencing and even just playing strategist games with him
He is fascinated by the Greek and Roman Gods, Ancient Egypt and Camelot
His dad takes him to book stores and he becomes somewhat of a history buff
One day (idk say he's like 22-25) he gets these odd dreams and at first it's just the odd comment "no Gwen was black not white" he has no proof, no evidence, but he knows his dreams aren't wrong
They become more vivid and eventually lead to a breakdown because he is confused about his place in this modern world
He doesn't know why but he drives to Wales, he has to, something is calling him there
Merlin had decided this time around he was going to be a doctor, he had studied when he lived in Ireland (even picking up the accent again) but had stayed too long there and people weren't believing he was 40
Moving to South Wales wasn't the worst idea because he got to visit his lake
The lake
It wasn't his
It hasn't been his for longer than he dare think
Merlin had settled his way into a medicinal career, having been a hacker of sorts to not exactly falsify information
He WAS trained, just under a different name
Merlin hated being back in Wales
He missed everyone
Even Uther
Even Morgana, even after the turn
He just felt so hopeless
Lonely
Just plodding through the new world, learning new skills to distract himself from that
He was perhaps overqualified for the entry level job but who would believe a 20 year old had 30+ years of experience?
The younger he pretended, the longer he could stay in one area
He had made a few friends but always stuck to himself, what was the point in friends these days?
Fingerprints on an abandoned rail
He trudged into work receiving a few "hello Colin"s
He was a carer
Essentially a glorified Merlin
But he'd take it for a few years before he could start mental and physical therapies
Was this a stupid idea
No
He had just plonked his bag into his locker and placed his lunch in the fridge before he was officially late on the ward
"Col' there's a new patient coming in today." Becky told him between scribbling notes "a fighter, from what I've been told, be careful"
"okay, any other information?"
"no, just a breakdown, probably a few months in here with some meds and he'll be gone." She looked up. "He's not actively hurting himself, but he wanders, he was found just walking into some lake. Obsessive behaviour with history too."
Merlin nodded, it wasn't unusual
He'd seen worse
The patient in question did arrive when Merlin was dealing with Mrs Davies, she had had an episode and needed sedation
He didn't like manhandling a 70 year old but she could punch when needed
He just exited her room when he heard a familiar voice
Becky was informing the new patient of the rules and that number 12 was his room
Merlin thought it only right to say hi whilst he's standing right there
She introduced him to the man, who actually had his back to them and was staring out the window
"Bradley, this is Colin."
"Hello, I'm one of the nurses in charge of your health, be careful of your neighbour in number 13. She's a handful." Queue the awkward chuckle
Merlin had spoke as his brain processed what his eyes were seeing
The man was so familiar
The shoulders
The hair
Even the posture
Curse him for standing Infront of the window because when he turned he was haloed by the golden sun
Merlin's heart stopped
"Merlin?"
The recognition in Arthur's eyes broke Merlin's heart
He was quick to stop himself from running up to the King as Becky was examining the patient's reactions
"hello." Merlin nodded to Arthur "Becky I'm just gonna ask some questions," before mouthing "he thinks I'm part of it"
She gave a look but there was always so much to do so if Colin was offering to finish Bradley's orientation so be it
Once she had left and the door was closed Merlin smiled so widely at Arthur
"you took your time, clotpole"
Tears pooled in Arthur's eyes, "I knew I wasn't crazy. Merlin where have you been?"
Merlin sat on the neatly made bed, Arthur following suit, and explained the past thousand years
He ended it with "had to wait for my King."
Arthur placed a hand in Merlin's knee, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for how I acted back then, I'm sorry that you had to hide yourself, why are you here? You're a warlock?!"
Merlin did chuckle at that. "Doesn't exactly pay the bills. I mean it helps but there's also boredom."
Arthur smiled back, the visible ease he had with Merlin vs Becky was comforting
"I'll help you survive this place, you'll be out soon."
"thank you, I don't know why but I kept having these memories, I drove from London to Wales, went to the lake and then I was being pulled out by strangers. I don't remember getting into the water."
"has anything happened like that before or since?"
"no."
"then that's fine."
"why am I back? Why did you stay?"
"Our lives were never our own. Destiny was woven through us. I don't know what we do but we are needed." Merlin hoped Arthur didn't read that as the cop out it was
"you'll stay with me? Even after this place?"
"of course."
"good."

Also! I've been meaning to ask you, but your mailbox was never open: Care to share some of your GalactaDad head-canons? I'm really curious!
Sure thing! Oh boy, this is going to be a little long.
Ok, so, Galacta. He counts Meta as his adoptive baby boy, but he also takes pride in all the other soldiers. He's kind of like the mother hen of the G.S.A.
He's always playful, he teases the others a lot (even by pinching ther cheeks really hard sometimes), whether Uther is more cold and stoic.
He can actually be extremely intimidating when he's serious. People fear him as much as they love him.
He sneaks in candy to the other G.S.A. members sometimes. That's actually how Meta developed his sugar addiction over the years.
He one time heard baby Falspar say: "I bet his wings are lilac because he dunked them in lavender!" before laughing his ass off like a phsycopath.
He can't swim. His wings are too heavily big, and they absorb water like crazy. He also never bothered to learn, but he doesn't like to admit it. He'll just find a really stupid excuse, like how he once told the kids he was being tracked down by whales.
He really empathizes with the other two members of the Star Trio, especially Jecra. Their positive energy just combines perfectly.
Nonsurat was SUPER shy as a baby, Galacta patiently helped him open up to the others, and now he's one of the most reliable members of the army as their mechanic.
Since Dragato was one of the first rescues, he was mostly raised by Uther, which means he's more serious and bossy than the others. Galacta Knight desperately tried to soften him up during his growth.
Galacta himself was one of the first ones to catch on Dragato's gender identity (transmasc): he and the others were extremely supportive of it.
He's very, VERY protective of Meta. So protective, in fact, that he once fought three rank A demon beasts at the same time because he thought they took him away. Turns out he was actually just hiding under his pink blanket.
Speaking of the pink blanket, it was originally Galacta's. Meta Knight took it before escaping Neo Star (where the G.S.A. was) and he actually brought it to Dreamland. He still sleeps in it today.

King Fisher Saga (WIP/preview)
King Fisher (Fluff's father)
I'm rewriting the incident (where Fisher gets maimed), but long story short, (through a series of events) he finds out that Uther & Icarus were planning to lure N.M.E.'s forces near his kingdom's galaxy and slowly extort them.
So, long story short... he pulls a "Pied Piper."
Guys, I think (I might) put Papa Fisher into the Kirby OC tournament. I originally had two I couldn't decide on but then I made King Fisher... AAAAAHHHHHHHH!
I just started putting all these things into the guy and now he's become my favorite OC over night.
