The 1400s gave way to the incredibly iconic accessories of the 1500s, namely hoods (both Gabled and French) and ruffs. While the end of the Tudor era saw the popularity of headdresses decline in favour of uncovered hair decorated with jewels, diadems, and feathers, prior to that headdresses were a vital part of court dress. In fact, the style of hood worn was often used as a political statement amongst the nobility. Hats had always been in fashion for men, but the 16th century saw them also become a fashion staple for women. CC links and reference images under the cut.

Named after one of my favorite books and albums, Things Fall Apart is an epic tale of lust, greed, betrayal, vengeance and, above all else, growth.
This story never started as a legacy nor was it intended to be anything other than gameplay. However, these characters evolved and, as such, so did their stories; each intertwined and forever impacted by the others.
Written, played and photographed by The Watcher circa 2015. This story is best read/viewed on a laptop, tablet or PC.

Mocha created a community for Black storytellers where one didn't exist anywhere in the Sims Community and paved the way for other Black writers to follow with her epic tale of Men and Stilettos and of course Kasim's adventures!

Welcome to Greenwood !
GREENWOOD - V2
If you live in Greenwood, that has to mean you are something other than human, insane or even both. With its dense forests, crystal blue ponds and eclectic architecture, the town has the kind of bizarre charm that puts a spell on anyone who steps on its ground. For centuries, it has been a sanctuary for people who had been cast away from their homelands. But is it really such a quiet and peaceful place ? What kind of secrets do the inhabitants have ? Is it true that people were murdered ? Why are alien spaceships drawn to the town so much ?
You will find out as you play the neighborhood. It's ✨a mess✨.
Most of the Sims have some kind of tie to the supernatural, either being a supernatural Sim themselves, extremely into the supernatural, extremely against the supernatural or having had to deal with the supernatural at some point.
The hood just needed some changes, such as a more coherent architecture, less terrible community lots and less trees, because the neighborhood deco in V1 caused quite a lot of pink soup and crashes for some people with less powerful computers or who used an enlarged viewing distance in lot view with disabled fade distance. If you still experience pink soup, maybe try LazyDuchess's experimental fix or lower your lot skirt size / enable the fade distance.
WHAT IS IN THE HOOD ?
If you still have v1 and you've had that save for a while, then you don't need to delete it and grab v2, of course.
The hood has :
16 playable families and 4 bin families.
77 lots : 32 community lots, 38 residential lots (16 occupied, 22 empty), 3 apartment lots with 4 slots each, 2 buildable lots and 2 hidden lots.
Completely re-done hobby lots, to include stuff from all the expansion packs and with some stuff that made me go "WTF" removed (main hood only).
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS :
• For the main hood, place the GRWD folder into your [Your Name] / Documents / EA GAMES / The Sims 2 / Neighborhoods folder.
• For the subhood, place the SGWD folder into your C: / Program Files (x86) / EA GAMES / The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection / The Sims 2 Open For Business / TSData / Res / NeighborhoodTemplate folder.
REQUIRED MODS :
MidgeTheTree's Child Lycanthropy mod. Not having it won't break the game, but it will cause graphic glitches.

Random calculation I made, sl does have a date set in stone, however 4 and 1 do and become before then, Michael is in his teens it looks in 4, we don't know if Mike Schmidt and Michael Afton are the same person, but I will assume for the math, the minimum age to start working in utah is 16. I know because I live there, why utah, FNAF is based of hurricane Utah. So next we all should know by now FNAF 3 takes place 30 years after 1, thanks to the in game dates and FNAF 3 trailer. This means in FNAF 3 springtrap is at least 76 since the average age to have a child in the us is 30 years old, the minimum amount of years needed to pass in SB is 20 as everyone needs to forget what happened for the most part and pizzarea sim and HW need to happen at some point. This would make burnttrap at least 96 years old. So he's almost or is a century old in SB.

Thank you! Gonna bring back this vampire because I should probably tell more about Callias than just oh yeah he's a massive slut and we love him for it 💀
1. Callias and Caleb were both born in the same century, but Callias is about 16 years older and was turned earlier (but they were both roughly around the same age when it happened, early 20s-ish). They crossed paths and were together briefly for some time as vampires. It was a passionate romance, but it didn’t end well at all. I guess they were just too different. They never saw each other again after that. They might, I haven’t ruled it out yet, but at this point in the NSB universe, they just haven’t.
2. And here’s the tea that I’m not sure if I’ll really acknowledge within the NSB universe or how much I’ll acknowledge it but I love to imagine it happened: After the breakup and Ross leaving, he bumped into Callias and they hit it off. They never spoke of Caleb together, had no clue there was this “link” between them. Eventually, they broke up, no hard feelings, if we see each other again, we’ll be friends, thanks for the good time. It’s just that Callias doesn’t really like the idea of settling down with “the one” and Ross figured out answers to some of the questions he’d had since the breakup.
3. I often like to imagine this scene where all is well between Ross and Caleb again and then Callias comes around and Ross is like “alright Caleb meet my friend who I may have had a brief romantic and sexual relationship with when we weren’t together” and Caleb just goes even paler than he naturally is, realizing Ross is friends with his ex-girlfriend from way back who, sorry, wait a second, is actually now an ex-boyfriend, and wait you guys were together, what the hell has my undead life turned into – writing that scene would probably give me a lot of second hand embarrassment but also a lot of joy and giggling and kicking my feet in the air tbh 😂 Also, if I ever make that scene canon, no worries, there’s not gonna be any jealousy there, just a lot of what the fuck what are the odds kinda internal screaming from Caleb.
4. Oh yeah by the way, yes, just a reminder, Callias is trans. He spent a fair share of his life as a woman though, and actually, after figuring things out, he fell in love with the more feminine aspects of himself that he hated when he was a woman “officially”…which I really hope makes sense and if not, just look at his tag, you’ll probably get it then. He likes being feminine in his style but he’s not a woman.
5. He doesn’t currently have a goal in life. He hasn’t really had one for decades now. He just wants to live (well, he’s a vampire, he doesn’t really live, but you know what I mean), have fun and indulge in all the fantasies world has to offer.

1. What’s your favourite sims death?
Hard to say, removing pool ladder is a classic everyone loves, but I really loved Mummy Curse Death from TS3 World Adventures, as it has to be one of the most forboding and ominous.
2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match?
I go with a mix of both, don't really care.
3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight?
My sims rarely gain weight.
4. Do you use move objects?
Of course I do, everybody does!
5. Favorite mod?
Deaderpool's MC Command Center is a must. I'm also a big fan of Coolspear's and Sacrificial's work, and lately I fell in love with new custom skills by JaneSimsten.
6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got?
That's gotta be Hot Date for Sims 1. Yeah, I'm that old.
7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing?
Since English isn't my native language, I tend to alternate between those, but I usually go with Live, as in LIVing.

Let's see: Sims 1 was awesome, but now is really dated, and build mode is limited and obnoxious to use. Sims 2 is a fantastic game but it's so buggy and prone to save corruption. Sims 3 Would be the best, due to the open world and so many fun lifestates, if you didn't had to wait an eternity and a half for it to load. Also, Twilight sparkly vampires. Ew. I kinda like Sims 4 the best, not only it has the best versions of lifestates (maybe except the furry-ass werewolves), but also the Best QoL improvements to CAS and Build mode. Give it some time, and I think it will be the best sims game ever.

Sadly, no.

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing?
It really didn't change much, except I rarely now deliberately kill my sims, as I get attached to my pixel dolls. Back in my TS1 days I would torture my sims in the most fun ways.

1. What has been your favorite time period to play in or which one are you most excited for?
The 50s/60s!
I love music, cars, hairstyles and movie stars! In fact I can't wait to get to the two decades (if anything I will)
2. Do you have a favorite piece of historical cc? (CAS or BB)
I sincerely love any cc case or BB that is from the previous decades or past centuries! And indeed, I take the opportunity to thank all the cc historical creators 😉.
3. Who is your favorite sim currently?
A female sim that I created but that I will insert in the story of Charles to give the "right pepper".
4. What is your favorite world?
Henford-on-Bagley & Tartosa.
5. Are you more gameplay or story focused?
The second, because having so many characters whose stories I like to tell, I prefer to create situations and plots that gradually intertwine with each other!
6. Do you like to play with pets in your historical saves?
Of course YES!
7. What’s your biggest immersion breaking pet peeve with the game?
Greg the werewolf appearing everywhere (with everything I checked the game options to stay in Moonwood Mill 😑 and some townies with indecipherable clothes 😂.
8. What’s your favorite in-game historical item? (CAS or BB)
I have many that I like but my absolute favorite is the Gibson girl hairstyle found in the get to famous extension.
9. What would you like to see as a new pack or asset to the game?
Since there is a shortage of thieves with home robberies, why not make a noire style stuff pack set in the 30s? For me a lover of detective stories and characters like Lupine 3rd or Diabolik it would be the best!
Thieves could pull heists as an event, create a thieves' club, hone skills, and tie it all together with the get to work expansion (my imagination is going way beyond that).
10. What pack do you think is invaluable as a historical simmer?
Get together for some stuff cas and Windenburg, Cottage living for the gameplay with farm and flea animals, Cat & Dog for the animals (I love animals and for me they are also fundamental in the sims 4), Growing together for the babies and some stuff cas.
11. Do you have a favorite mod to enhance historical gameplay?
Re-read answer number 2.
12. What’s your ideal family size for playing?
I honestly don't have any ... But if for each generation there was an only child, the gameplay or the succession of decades would be easier (my opinion).
13. Do you use poses?
Yes, and I would love to learn how to create some of my own to share with other simblrs (historical and no historical).
14. Do you use any overrides in your game?
Yes, some... especially the medieval little book that replaces the phone when they independently control it 😂.
15. Do you, or did you, play off-the-grid during your game?
At the beginning of my decade challenge yes ... But now arrived in the 20s where by now the light and electricity was in almost all the houses no.
16. What lifespan do you play on?
None!
I try to make lifespam as realistic as possible.
17. What inspired you to start playing a historically?
Many of the Historical simblrs who still continue to post the stories of their characters.
But in particular I would like to thank @antiquatedplumbobs for lots- @aheathen-conceivably and @scythesms for the gameplay aka stories. @gilded-ghosts @linzlu @happylifesims @javitrulovesims for cc cas, @lilis-palace @pierisim an other cc creators for amazing furnitures.

The 1500s was a century of innovation when it came to hairstyles, with the introduction of both metal hair pins (1545) and wigs (1572). These pins were used to hold wires and pads in place that essentially acted as scaffolding for the shaped hairstyles popular during this period. The religious modesty of previous centuries was cast aside for the first time, with young married women now uncovering their tresses. The ideal hair was curly and fair or red, a fad influenced by British monarch Queen Elizabeth I. CC links and reference images under the cut.

okay so Owl Thoughts I guess because i am physically shaking while I type this
Foist, a CLIFFHANGER?? FOR A SERIES SEASON FINALE??? BOLD BOLD BOLD BOLD BOLD BOLD BOLD BOLD!!!! AND YET TRAGEDY! FUCK YOU RAT-MOUSE CAPITALIST FUCK DISNEY.
I legitimately thought that this was the series finale, and for a whole half hour thought “Oh my god, that is incredible, like an open floodgate for fanfiction.”
I wasn’t sold on the Collector at first, because i really do hate “childlike god” characters, but that outfit has put it ALL in perspective for me. The outfit, the pronouns, the power - that’s kids a FUCKING WIZARD. Every possible question about their behavior can be answered with “he’s a wizard”! And on this blog, we STAN an irresponsible master of the arcane!! Fuck it up little guy! Get all the fun out before you’re locked in a crystal prison or sniped in the Wildy or something. Wizards live fast and die in-a-young-or-old-extreme-median-like-infant-mortality-affecting-medieval-average-life-expectancy and to the benefit of everyone around them.
Also, FUCK. BELOS IS BACK. Little slimey fuck is back in the human world. As a goo-bitch, which will lead to some way more interesting character dynamics as the little hitler will be forced to confront his inhumanity and pay for his crimes.
Speaking of Whittlebanes, THAT WAS A FUCKING LOT OF GOLDEN GUARD MASKS. WAY MORE THAN 16. He was murdering kids left and fucking right!!!!
Kikimora and the Coven loyalists all got a taste of the ultimate fate that awaits sub-villains: being tossed away like a c*mrag with a “you really thought I did more than barely tolerate you...?”
We’ll see if this leads to a heel-face turn or not. Some of their crimes are too extreme to be forgiven. I wanna see that flora lady get lit up like a blunt. Kikimora is on the teetering edge though, and only because I like goblins.
And GOD, everyone is left absolutely hanging in the Isles. Eda can probably get a new arm? But CATTS has taken some damage, King is MIA and the Collector is in complete control.
Though, I’m fairly certain it’s going to turn out that everything is okay. The collector is an irresponsible wizard-child, yes, but he also has King to lead him right. He was promised to play “The Owl House”, which sounds an awfully lot like just a domestic slice-of-life thing, especially with King instructing them on how to “play”, which will probably be just “let it run and see what happens, minimal interference”. The breaking-bread thing on the airship was cute! It’s not in my culture so it did feel a little awkward on first viewing, but I know communal eating like that is a big thing for the vast majority of people, and a sign of strong family.
And, being set in the human world with a principle villain hiding in the woods, it does make it infinitely easier for my Hunter: The Parenting X The Owl House fic to actually happen. We’ll see how slimeboy faces off against a bunch of meddling magical kids AND some absolutely unhinged Imbued.

Save the Elephant Day
Saving an Elephant Day has been observed across the globe on April 16 yearly. The purpose is for raising awareness about the jam of elephants, whose populace has keep on declining quite noticeably.
SAVING THE ELEPHANT DAY HISTORY
Elephants are the biggest existing land animals which are spread across Asia and Africa. Recent studies estimated that there are just over 400,000 of elephants now from across the continent of Africa and even though the situation differed from countries, it can’t be denied that this giant mammal is declining on the continent-wide scale. The human activities like poaching for ivory stays the important reason for the said decline.
This saving the Elephant Day looks to change this disturbing trend by educating the people about the elephants and the mess they are facing, encouraging everybody to do their part in helping to rescue elephants from extinction.
The organizations across the globe have worked together in dealing some of the main threats elephant populations are facing. In 1989, the global commercial trade for ivory was barred. The CITES or Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species secured the agreement among the member states to forbid the global ivory trade.
In year 2016, China, which has been the largest ivory market of the world, called for the outlaw of all ivory trades within the country. During 20th of December, 2018, the Ivory Act 2018 in U.K. received royal assent right after being passed through the British Parliament. This act can be extended to contain the narwhals, hippos, and walruses in the future.
While in year 2012, the saving an Elephant Day had been established in Thailand by Elephant Reintroduction Foundation, together with a Canadian filmmaker, Patricia Sims. The launch of the global initiative in 2012 saw the announcement of this “Return to the Forest,” the documentary movie narrated by the actor William Shatner in “Star Trek”.

Make awareness over the social media
Share helpful information about saving elephants on the social media platforms. Anyone can join sensitization campaigns for informing the general public regarding the need to assist save endangered elephant populace.
2.Do not buy ivory products
Help in discouraging the rustling of elephants through not purchasing any ivory merchandise. When there are no orders for elephant tusks, the poachers will not have any market.
3. Support organizations
Support the organizations that are dealing to stop the unlawful poaching and trading of elephant ivory plus some other wildlife products. Anyone can help through donating to the cause or through volunteering.
IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT ELEPHANTS
Elephants help in shaping the ecosystems. Elephants are important for supporting the ecosystems and are being considered as the central species for the task they play.
Species are recognized by their ears. African elephant ears are much bigger than the Asian elephants.
Elephant tusks are their teeth. The elephant tusks are inflated incisor teeth that initially appear when the elephants are two years old.
Many African elephants had been wiped out. Around 90% of the African elephants had been wiped out during the previous century because of the ivory trade.

Everybody must support community scouts, wildlife trade, rangers, and sniffer dogs in monitoring networks to discourage poachers and to cut the demand from the buyers.
It sensitizes the community. We create awareness regarding the predicament of these elephants. We help to discourage also the public from buying stuffs made of ivory.
It raises funds. Through encouraging people to contribute to Save the Elephants campaign, we can help in protecting them. Fundraising events also organized in helping to protect the left over estimated 497,000 elephants from across the world.
REPRESENTATIVE VARIETIES OF ELEPHANTS
Elephas maximus - The Asian elephant is also named as the Asiatic elephant. This is the elephant species distributed throughout the Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent, from west India, Nepal in north, Sumatra in south, and Borneo in east. This Asian elephant is described by their long trunk with the solo finger-like processing, small ears fold-up laterally, wrinkled grey skin, and large tusks for males.
