After looking at one of my old stories from my Medieval game, the Banished challenge (New Foundations), I have to say that now I'm on the fence about starting up a new hood, or restarting the old! I love playing the Banished hood so much, and it will be exciting to see all the kids grow into adults, as most of them are already on the cusp of adulthood.

Now that we're all done, it's time to kickstart the graduation party!

We brought over mom and the good witch,

Ulysses' twin sister-

Second Generation Offshoots (2)

After Griffin came Bruno, Magda and Theron’s second son together and Magda’s third child overall. Bruno became the camp chef as a teenager. As a family sim he often rolled the want to serve meals and since the colony was able to build a stove, he could make comfort soup to help keep everyone alive.

Bruno is also partially the reason why I thought Ida might do better elsewhere.

Just because you don’t find her attractive doesn’t mean you have to be rude about it. No one is trying to push you together.

After Bruno came Isaac (on the left) and Wesley (on the right). Isaac was the son of Dinah and Fernando and Wesley was the son of Rosalyn and Fernando.

Isaac was my young gardener. Between his, Dinah’s, and Doug’s planting wants, the camp built up a thriving garden.

They both found love with ladies in the third group of potential mates I created, the Gamma family (the same family Wilma’s Ralph came from. I guess the third time was a charm.)

Wesley found love with Elsie. Elsie was already pregnant by one of the men from her tribe before she fell in love with Wesley. (Actually her other man might be in the background of this picture witnessing their kiss.)

Isaac fell in love with Shari despite the lack of privacy on the main homestead.

Isaac, Shari, Wesley, and Elsie were the second group of sims to move into their own lot. Between them, they already had enough wood to build a small shelter.

Isaac and Shari worked together chopping down a tree. I don’t think that looks like an effective way to do it, but I guess it worked.

Both couples were committed to each other. Elsie and Wesley got engaged first.

Shari and Isaac got engaged a few seasons later.

Life on their own was rough. Shari fell prey to trying to chop down trees while pregnant. Isaac saved her.

And she had another close call that required intervention.

(Guys, is this really the time or place to hold hands? I guess they were unfazed by death at this point.)

Hopefully it was all worth it once her pregnancy was over and she and Elsie could take care of their newborns together.

They had a pretty cute little homestead for themselves. I was hoping they could specialize in farming, but Isaac was the only one who had an interest.

The kids did take to fishing though. And we can see the start of the reeds that took over half the lot. I had to go through and delete a bunch of them more than once.

Unfortunately, Isaac’s life was cut short when he succumbed to sickness while tending his garden. I was unable to get anyone to him in time to save him.

I left Isaac’s grave amongst the garden plots and I tried to encourage his young son to keep up the garden in his absence, but no one has taken much of an interest in it since Isaac’s death.

Shari felt terrible that she was unable to save Isaac after he had saved her so many times.

Isaac and Shari had three children together, a son and two daughters. Their youngest daughter was born after Isaac’s death.

Elsie also had a few brushes with Death which she fortunately survived. (And you can see how the reeds are creeping in in the background.)

Wesley and Elsie had four children together, two sons and two daughters, plus the son she was pregnant with when they got together, who I completely forgot was not Wesley’s biological son.

After Wesley, the next child born in the main camp was Theresa, Misha and Fernando’s daughter.

Theresa and Bruno had a slow burn romance.

They flirted a bit here and there, but didn’t even share a kiss until they were halfway through their adult years.

But the wait was worth it. They had two daughters together.

Winona: Why would we care? It's not like he managed to grab anything before the officer got here.

He was aiming for the treadmill but I put it in the same room as the kids so they ended up blocking him lol.
