COLOUR BULLYING NEEDS TO STOP

I am a designer but I have never thought about skin colours when making clothes. I wear all colours , yes I like some more than others but that's not because I feel I can't wear a certain colour because of my skin tone it's simply a matter of preference. I ask all you lovely people to rise above this prejudice and embrace who you are. Style is about being true to your core, accepting who you are, celebrating all your assets, sticking to your guns, not taking no for an answer and loving yourself.

I know you must be thinking this is easier said than done, but trust me it is very easy. Look at this beautiful woman showcased in this post. Isn’t she stunning?! Isn’t she gorgeous? Do you feel her allure? Do you notice her confident eyes and the glow around her face? Look at her , stare at her if you need to and all you will see is pure beauty. Her being dark skinned would not be something you would even think about. Her skin colour is something that is not to be taken into consideration at all.

2. The area between two eyebrows which is the sixth chakra – Agna is considered as seat of wisdom. it helps in retaining the energy in human body & helps in controlling the concentration.

2. vermillion (Sindoor)-

It is a red colored powder, which is applied by the groom on the center of bride’s hair (maang). it is applied with the belief of long life of husband & it shows the marital status.

Scientific reason of wearing Sindoor-

It represents the sati energy that protects her husband.

It is for a woman's health and good fortune.

3.Maangtika-

It is a type of hair accessories which is wear in the hair parting.

Scientific reason of wearing Maangtika-

It is worn to empower spiritual energy.

It helps in gather concentration and control.

4.Kajal-

Originally black, it is now available in a variety of colors. It is applied on the edges of eyelids. Earlier kajal was prepared with desi ghee, which gives coolness to eyes and make it more attractive.

Kajal is applied as a kala tika to safeguard a bride form bad luck.

5.Nath (Nose ring) –

Nath also called nathni and laung ,worn on the left side of nose. It is the symbol of marital status but now unmarried woman also prefer to wear it with the changing trends.

1.Nose ring keeps the reproductive organ of women healthy & experience less pain while delivering their baby.

2.It also prevents a woman from getting hypnotized because it controls brain wavelength.

6.Waistband (kamarband) –

It enhances the graceful shape of female.

It available in variety of designs. it is worn around the waist & it rests delicately just below the waistline.

They prevent saturation of fat in the waist and maintain a woman’s figure. Prevent from gaining the belly fat. And also regulate menstrual cycle.

7.Toe ring (bichiya)-

Toe rings also known as ‘bichua, bichudi’. are traditional Indian jewellery that is worn in toes by Indian women. Though usually married woman wears toe rings but now a days unmarried woman also wears toe ring as a fashion jewellery.

Scientific meaning of wearing toe ring-

Helps in regularizes menstrual cycle with even intervals. The nerve in the toe is connected to the uterus & passes through the heart. when married woman wears these rings and does her regular work, the friction revitalizes her reproductive organ.

8.Anklet (payal, pajeb)-

Payal to be worn on the feet. it comes in variety of designs and in pair. Worn on both of the ankles. It comes in a chain design with the small ghungroo bells which emit a melodious sound when bride moves A single anklet also comes with multicolor beads & weaved threads which is worn by married as well as unmarried woman as a fashion accessory. Generally, it is of silver.

The home filled with the positiveness when brides enter the house with the melodious sound of payal.

9.Necklace-

symbol of prosperity. It is the most elegant piece of jewellery . the Indian necklace has a lot of traditional & sentimental value attached to it . it is the main center point of bridal jewellery . without the neckpiece the bride is incomplete .

10.Earring ( karanphool or ear ornaments)-
