Shizaya week 2022
Day 2 You're Lucky You're Pretty
"SHIZUO!" Izaya screeched.
Shizuo jolted out of bed and ran to Izaya. "What!? What's wrong!?" He found Izaya in the office and looked around for the danger.
"What's wrong?" Izaya hissed at him. "What's wrong is you MESSAGED my boss, the YAKUZA, and threatened him!"
Shizuo frowned. "Oh..."
"Oh...OH!? Is that all you have to say!?" Izaya yelled at him.
Shizuo threw his arms up. "Well what was I supposed to do? You went even coming to bed anymore. I found you passed out at your damn desk."
Izaya pinched the bridge of his nose. "I swear, I'm-" his phone began to ring. He looked down to see the caller. "Shit." He muttered.
Shizuo stood silent while Izaya answered. The conversation was quick. A few words of "OK, yes and understood" were all Izaya said.
Finally he hung up the phone.
"Well?" Shizuo asked. He was beggining to worry that he seriously fucked up. "Was that him?"
Izaya sighed as he pocketed his phone. "Yes."
"Well what did he say?" Shizuo pressed.
"We're in a lot of trouble." Izaya finally said.
"Shit. Look Izaya, I'm sorry. I'm a fucking idiot. I just...I missed you and was worried. Damn it. What can I do?" Shizuo began to panic.
Izaya shook his head. "Start packing."
"They're making us leave!?" Shizuo cried out.
Izaya placed a hand on his shoulder. "No. Shiki gave me a few weeks off. Said we should go on vacation. So now we are stuck planning a road trip or something."
Shizuo starred at him. "Oh...."
"Aparently, he was going to give me time off after this assignment, that I finished last night. Your message was actually amusing to him." Izaya went on. "Having the beast on his bad side was also not favorable."
Shizuo palmed his own face. "So, if I didn't threaten him...you'd still have time off."
Izaya nodded. "Shizu-chan?"
Shizuo looked at him through his fingers. "Yeah?"
"You're lucky you're pretty." Izaya smirked at him.
Shizuo gave a small smile and pulled Izaya closer. "Yeah?"
"Yes." Izaya confirmed as he wrapped his arms around Shizuo's neck. "But threaten my boss again and I'll cut your balls off and feed them to the cat."
Shizuo swallowed hard. "Fuck..."
