This winter had been hell for me, it was always my favorite holiday, the cool air, snow, when it rained and I got to stay home playing boardgames with my mum, or I finally got to read that book that had been collecting dust on my shelf for ages now that it was dark and rainy. No, none of it this year. Every time I hung out with him I held my breath, in fear I’ll do something wrong, take too much space, become too much of a liability. Its stupid, just stupid, I’m his best friend, known him since i was 16 years old, but he seemed so much more older, and wiser.I belittle myself next to him, instead of just letting go, I take a mental note of every little gesture he does that correlates in any way to me, every choice of words, I save them to then divulge them later. It’s draining, not knowing if its just all in your head. If you’ve got it wrong…
“y/n? Hellooo, are you there” i snapped out of my meditative state.I was cross legged on my bedroom floor with two of my closest friends, I didnt even remember what we were talking about anymore.
“yeah sorry i was just distracted” I sighed tying my hair back into a low ponytail and resting my hands on my knees
“we were talking about Matt? Y’know you actually have a chance with him, did you see the way he talked to you earlier?” My friends were only feeding into my delusions, the other nodded in agreement. Even if he did actually see me like that, i dont know what i would do, we’ve been friends since highschool, everything would just be too weird and messy, it wouldn’t be right, no, not with me, not with him.
“No, guys, stop, you’re all just talking nonsense and it just makes everything worse” I groaned, placing my head between my hands.
“C’mon, who could ever leave you?” She says giggling, looking over at my other friend, it wasn’t funny, not in that moment at least. I felt despaired, I know it’s obvious I like him, maybe no one actually takes it seriously when i throw in some extra compliments once in a while of some flirty remarks, but I never try to hide it, except the real thing of course. I know my love should be celebrated, I shouldn’t settle for someone who just tolerates it, but I keep going back to the same thing, always, no matter how many people I see, no matter how many excuses I make to not hang out, its like a moth to a flame, I know im bound to get burnt, trust me. My friends keep convincing me, I feel petty having to listen to them try and make me feel better. Sometimes I come close to actually getting serious then I just think its a waste of time, he just always assumes im fine when my eye contact becomes non existent and my words get mixed up, I dont think he notices it at least, I dont think he ever notices. I guess this means im just doomed, It doesn’t matter how many times my friends reassure me, how many “glances” i pick up from him, Im never going to be one of his main concerns, unrequited. Im always just dimly lit, just enough. I should start trying to accept, settle, “always the bridesmaid, never the bride”.

TROPHY HEADCANONS bc i am spinning him around in my mind 24/7
•he LOVES studio ghibli movies bc of the art. he saw some of the residents watching ponyo in the lobby and he did that thing where he just stood in one place not sitting down to watch it bc he didnt wanna seem like he liked it. but he does. his favorite scenes art-wise are the big zoomed out landscapes and that one scene in ponyo where the town is underwater
•he cries like super easily (see waffling about and this post) and he doesnt even have to be very upset either it just kind of happens. crybaby ass
•he is an (probably undiagnosed) adhd-haver. i dont really have any evidence for this i just feel it in my bones
•he has NPD. i do have evidence for this one actually but that would be a whole post on its own honestly
•eventually his interest in photography extends to an interest in things he likes to photograph (eg. plants/flowers and butterflies)
•when clover comes to the island trophy ends up photographing (and by extension hanging out with) her a lot because she's, like, supernaturally photogenic and trophy loves how photos of her turn out. they become friends :-)
•he actually does genuinely dominate at dodgeball bc it involves two of his favorite things: 1. violence and 2. targeting the most autistic people he can find. cheesy just happened to throw him off with that joke about balls (also one of his favorite things)
•there's gotta be like some actual psychological warfare shit going on between trophy and tissues bc not only are they both petty bitches (more accurately tissues is a petty bitch and trophy is quick to anger and holds grudges which creates a self-perpetuating cycle of bitchiness) and they also spent like,., months in a closet together which is of course a recipe for disaster. in the case of limegold they're like that post about having sex by standing on opposite sides of the room fully-clothed trying to explode each other with their minds
•if trophy and cabby met i think they would actually hit it off bc he loves talking about himself and cabby loves knowing things about people. i even think he would be understanding of her memory issues bc his adhd ass would be like "? you forget things sometimes? hey me too dw abt it" bc like. even if her memory problems are more severe than his he still, like, understands yk (i do NAWT CARE if this is ooc they mean everything. 2 me)
•if trophy and silver spoon met silver spoon would dislike him for being "uncivilized and uncouth" and trophy would dislike him for being a snob. i love the aesthetic of those two as a duo but sadly i can't imagine them befriending each other
•he's probably from some totally obscure and random state in the midwest. like, iowa or nebraska or something. minnesota perhaps
•he kind of knows, at least on some level, that his decision-making skills aren't. great. that knowledge has not and never will stop him from continuing to make questionable decisions
•he loves relaxing and being alone, probably more than anyone would expect. he does have a workout regimen as fan said but working out is really more of a meditative and stress-relieving activity for him even if he isn't really fully aware of it. this is also (at least part of the reason) why he loves photography
•he kind of hates sleeping in his room bc of tissues' sneezing so he's developed insomnia and kind of just. wanders around at night. when he does get tired he just falls asleep in random places, usually on the couch in the lobby but sometimes he just. passes out on the floor

BUT on god it would be the funniest thing ever. Reader and Rue would instantly just be like “where are you from, remember how shitty the government was?” And rue would pull out her phone cause this is a special occasion and being to play some music she has downloaded for reader. If either Pigsy were to act up (I’d assume isekai’d would with wwmittos Pigsy trying to stop him) Rue would verbally assault him with so much shade he’d have to sit.
The two Tripitaka’s would be in their own little world of meditation and internal screaming at the fact that THERES SIX OF THEM NOW AND TWO WUKONGS!!!! No their not dealing with it. Honestly I think wwmittos Tripitaka would just turn to his counter part and go “rue has this. She can “babysit” as she puts it. Let’s go before we get dragged into this” and they just disappear (because they are cowards!)
The two Sandy’s are having a blast ittw Sandy is telling wwmittos Sandy all about reader and Wukong and wwmittos Sandy is getting so many ideas (cause Rue and Wukong are semi together but it’s very confusing both of them are pinning and too stupid to realize anything at all) so it’s Sandy is helping come up with ideas about how the other can speed things along.
Now the wukongs…. Honestly THEY ARE THE BEST!! As soon as they see each other it’s the spider man meme. Their pointing at each other and pulling out the staff ready to GO. reader and rue get involved real quick reader likely telling ittw wukong that if he can’t get along with the other she will ban him from cuddles or something like that. So now the only way they can duke it out to establish dominance is verbal abuse and wwmittos Wukong has been listen to rue diss kings for MONTHS! So he’s got some really nasty comments thanks to her. But ittw Wukong also has some comments too (rue was not about to let her wukongs ego skyrocket so she shared some of her secrets)

ARJUNA
Arjuna has willingly attempted to kill himself twice by walking into a pit of fire.
One time it was when Arjuna was challenged by a monkey to make a bridge out of arrows because Arjuna kept saying that he could make a sturdier and better bridge than the ones the monkeys did so they both did the bet and Arjuna was like 'if my bridge collapses i'll kms and jump into a pit of fire' and lo and behold, he ends up loosing so my guy was not going to hesitate to commit to his end so he lit had to be stopped from walking onto the fire.
The other time was when some guy was lamenting the death of his kid, that he died as soon as he was born and that no one cared. Arjuna finds this guy (a Brahmin) and takes pity on him and assures him that he will protect his next kid like 'dw, the next kid you have will live' and he vows that if he fails to protect this kid, he'll end his life by jumping into the fire (again) Long story short, when the time comes for the kid to be born, Arjuna visits the house of the guy and his wife and makes the house secure by making an enclosure with arrows yet the child still dies and not only that but the body also disappears??? the guy is obviously furious bc wtf arjuna u were supposed to prevent this from happening u suck so arjuna naturally (and once again) was ready to jump into the fire because how embarrassing right, but he was prevented from doing so by God Krishna who then took him to meet god Vishnu who upon getting told what happened was like "oh krishna and arju! i just took those kids just so i could see u guys again! it was nice seeing u, now go take the two kids back home :D" and so the whole thing was fixed.
Arjuna fought against crocodiles, 5 crocodiles
Basically it was during the time when he and his brothers and wife got exiled and as Arjuna was wandering on his own around the forest to gather resources, he found a sort of monastery (Ashram) and was like 'oh cool! maybe i'll be able to ask for food here' and as he entered, he saw many sages who were all tensed up and rushed towards arjuna and begged him to help them. Their problem was that these sages said that in the monastery, they had like 5 ponds that were used for bathing purposes but for some reason, crocodiles took over the ponds and for each pond there is a crocodile who eats anyone who gets on the pond, so naturally arjuna goes over to help. Because he had once received a blessing from the princess of the snake kingdom that no water or aquatic animal would be able to defeat him, Arju confidently enters the pond and catches the first crocodile and yeets it out of the pond. As soon as this crocodile is out of the pond, it turns into a woman who asks for his help as it turns out that she and her other 4 friends have been cursed for disrupting a sage who was meditating and because of this, they were all cursed to turn into crocodiles and can only be freed from the curse if someone takes them out of their ponds so Arju went ahead and went to each pond and yeeted all 5 of the crocodiles out and thus ends up saving all the women
Helps with burning a forest and proceeds to get thanked afterwards???
So the story involves Agni the god of fire and how in order to finally satiate his hunger, he needs to devour the forest but he can't do this because each time he attempts to do so he is stopped by Indra, so one day he meets arjuna and krishna and asks for their help, and they both agree to help and they thus end up battling against Indra as well as other gods and demons and animals and snakes, and Agni ends up eating the forest. It's because they help Agni with his indisgestion that Agni arranges for arjuna and Krishna to meet up with Varuna who ends up giving them celestial weapons, in the case of Arjuna, he gets his famous bow gandiva + the two endless quivers he has (that he carries in his fate interpretation!)
He's very skilled with origami
Not related to the Mahabharata but it's a personal headcanon that because of how precise and observant he is (as well as his perfectionism tm) he makes the cleanest folds and can make about any shape

Haventail eavesdrops on Golddawn, who wishes to get to know the young warrior better.
Yewkit hopes Mudfur will tell him another story :3
Howlkit wishes cats would stop babying her. little ma'am you literally have the babyiest kit sprite idk what to tell you. you're baby.
Stoatskip wonders if StarClan can hear him, from the stars, Fawnroot is looking to visit him in a dream.
Quarter continues trying to meditate the strained relationship of the two medicine cats. Her work is starting to pay off, as while the two mollys still have a dislike for each other, their trust towards one another outweighs that dislike.
Patrols:
Kokichi decides to take charge on border patrol, and brings along Plumshine, Hazelbloom, and Stoatskip. Hazelbloom finds a loner, who offers their healing skills in exchange for shelter. The new medicine cat is welcomed to the clan.
Squirrelface and Stoatstalk decide to take Featherfoot with them herb gathering, Golddawn also decides to tag along. As the Mullein towers impressively over the other plants, it's a good time to harvest it. Squirrelface could swear there's usually mullein around here- but not this time.
Gracklegorse takes Haventail and Buzzardpoppy training, suggesting its a good time to practice some techniques. Unfortunately, no one steps up to teach. It's a little awkward, but the patrol disbands to attend to other duties.
Thoughts before the New Moon:
Sunstar thinks she's been hearing the voices of StarClan cats... what they saying bestie.
Quarter is eavesdropping on Kokichi, who's been a little hard on himself recently :(
Plumshine has been lazing around in their nest, and doesn't seem to want to change that anytime soon.
Stoatstalk carefully curates his appearance to be dazzling, but not too dazzling. Clan's apparent heartthrob gotta keep up those good looks
Haventail is being followed around camp by Sunstar's kits. awwwhhh
Mudfur is trying to tell the kits a tall tale, but Yewkit is busy playing with a stick, while his sister, Runnelkit, pesters Mudfur to play with her
From StarClan, Fawnroon has been following the growth of Gracklegorse
Fromt StarClan. Moonthistle has seen Haventail's future demise? excuse me? huh? h?

With three cats working now, the medicine cats gathered a hefty amount of herbs this moon. Squirrelface gathered oak leaves and tansy, while Golddawn and Featherfoot gathered daisy and thyme respectively. Mudfur is given juniper to help treat her frostbite.
Sunstar has a crazed look in her eyes. girl? you good? did the kits not let you sleep or something??

Gracklegorse begins assigning cats to a border patrol as Squirrelfaces checks up on all the warriors.

From StarClan, Moonthistle is hoping to meet with a medicine cat soon buddy buddy whats going on
Quarter is quick to work on Squirrelface and Golddawn's relationship with the newest medicine cat. The last thing BumbleClan needs is all 3 medicine cats being cross with one another
Patrols:
With Brokenspots recovered from her whitecough, Buzzardpoppy and Haventail take her out to train together. Haventail suggests they practice hunting techniques. Everyone has a nice session and new tricks under their paw to try out next hunting patrol.
The medicine cats head out together to gather herbs. The gaggle of cats stroll through BumbleClan's territory, chatting amicably amongst themselves. It's a rare opportunity, for them to all be out like this together, and though the weather is poor and not really ideal for herb-gathering, each cat plans to make the most of it. It starts pouring while they're out, and even Golddawn has to admit defeat and lead them home.
Stoatskip, Kokichi, and Stoatstalk head out for the first border patrol. They hear the sound of barking and cautiously go to investigate. Near the border, they spot a dog chasing something. A cat! The patrol jumps to action to chase the dog off, a group of cats is much more powerful than one, and they convince the dog to flee with little difficulty. They go to check on the feline, but in their adrenaline haze take a swipe at Stoatstalk before running away.
The final patrol of the moon is lead by Gracklegorse, taking Plumshine and Hazelbloom with them. The patrol catches scent of a mouse nearby. Plumshine pinpoints the location of the prey and begins creeping forward. They're almost within pouncing distance when the mouse suddenly bolts. With a lash of their tail, Plumshine leaps forward, barely snagging it before it enters it's burrow.

Moon 21: Leaf-bare begins
Stoatstalk itches uncomfortably, wishing his wound would just close up and heal already, but it seems to only be getting worse.
Mudfur's tail is finally gone. It was more of a relief than anything. The frostbitten flesh was already dead, so she had no issue taking it off before it fell off on it's own.
Runnelkit has gotten kittencough.
Squirrelface wishes she was as pretty as Haventail. ur bootiful to me and Stoatstalk its ok
Haventail awakes with a start. Fire. Fire was all she could remember. She rushes out of the warriors den with a start to find Buzzardpoppy and Hazelbloom at the fresh kill pile, asking what's wrong. Just a dream, the camp is safe, she's alive. Her mother and brother comfort her, and assure her that it's too cold of a season for fires.
Howlkit has a wonderful time discussing Clan happenings with Brokenspots :3
Featherfoot and Squirrelface spar in the clearing, Plumshine tries to get Golddawn to join in.
Buzzardpoppy and his sister are distracted from Mudfur's story, upsetting the elder. Haventail voices her anxieties in a way that puts off Squirrelface.
Quarter, now free of her running nose, tells Brokenspots of her old kittypet life, meaning for it to stay private. Brokenspots ends up telling another cat regardless.
Thoughts and In-Camp actions:
In the medicine den, Mudfur was given juniper. Her frostbite has healed, but she will always carry evidence of the incident on her pelt. The medicine cats also refresh their moss stock.
Golddawn applies more cobwed to Stoatstalk's injury, it will hopefully heal sooner.
Squirrelface could not find any herbs, but the older cats were able to gather some goldenrod and dandelion.
Quarter and Brokenspots eavesdrops on Gracklegorse talking to his sick kit. Runnelkit is asking who their mentor will be.
Stoatstalk leaves fresh-kill at Moonthistle's grave.
Plumshine, Kokichi, and Hazelbloom try to set a good example for the kits.
Mudfur is being grumped at by the kits for no longer having a tail to play with. sadge

Brokenspots confindes in Quarter, asking the older cat to help keep up the warrior's good relationship with Howlkit, hoping to be chosen for the kit's mentor when the time comes. Quarter happily agrees.
Patrols:
The medicine cats head out to gather herbs, Haventail goes with them as an escort. BumbleClan can never had enough cobwebs, Squirrelface instructs the patrol, and leads them on a search for some, hoping to get more to treat her wounded mate. The medicine cat mrrps with laughter, watching Golddawn parade around with such a big bundle that her former mentor keeps colliding with things in her path she can't see. The entire patrol has gotten a wonderful haul, and it's a very pleased Squirrelface that leads them back to camp.
Gracklegrose leads border patrol, taking Plumshine, Kokichi, and Brokenspots with them. Kokichi finds a loner who offers their healing skills in exchange for shelter. She happily explains Bumbleclan, but after learning more, the loner politely declines.
Stoatskip takes Hazelbloom and Buzzardpoppy out to practice. His mate and the younger cat get into a disagreement regarding what Haventail's dream could have meant. Unable to come to a understanding, they look to Stoatskip to settle this. Stoatskip nods sympathetically, and is able to calm the cats down, convincing them to agree to disagree.

Thoughts before the New Moon:
Outside of BumbleClan, Whiskers sniffs around OatClan territory curiously.
Sunstar wonders if Golddawn has gotten any prophecies from StarClan, well she fucking NEEDS to with all these demise visions theyve been having.

Moon 22:
Runnelkit was unable to fight off her kittencough. BumbleClan mourns their loss. Her last moments were spent sunbathing with Quarter and Buzzardpoppy. Gracklegorse takes her to be buried.
Shortly after Runnelkit's funeral, Plumshine brings a single kit into camp, they refuse to talk about it's origins, they name them Flowerkit.
Sunstar has healed from the strain of giving birth, but the hole Runnelkit left in her heart remains.
Stoatskip finds the way Haventail acts extremely uncomfrotable. Why is everyone suddenly mean to her. be nice to her right fucking now.
Featherfoot notices Gracklegorse hasn't been taking their health all too seriously. hmm idk maybe its the MOURNING his DAUGHTER
Hazelbloom tripped on a rabbit hole :( hurt him foot
Haventail wants to spend more time with Staotstalk! friendship :3
Thoughts and In-Camp actions:
Stoatstalk is given poppy and goldenrod to treat his infected injury.
The herb stores are inspected, and the medicine cats notice some of the ragwort gone bad, and make a note to look for some. Squirrelface had gathered some lungwort, but Featherfoot and Golddawn were unable to find anything.
Kokichi eavesdrops on Haventail, and notices her daughter is a bit gloomy today.
Despite his sprain, Hazelbloom tries to set a good example for the new kit.
Outside of BumbleClan. Whiskers was almost eaten by a monster- jesus christ thank god hes ok.
From the safety of his kittypet home, Razzle watches the clouds roll by.
From StarClan, Moonthistle hopes to meet with one of the medicine cats soon.
Quarter speaks with Haventail and Buzzardpoppy at their father's request, keeping an eye that the siblings stay close in these trying times.
Patrols:
Sunstar accompanies the medicine cats for an herb gathering run. With the motley assortment of Clanmates behind her, Golddawn heads out on patrol, searching for the ever-green, ever-reliable horsetail to harvest. But her work is once again effected by her distracted mind, and the patrol returns home empty-handed and snappy with each other.
Gracklegorse leads the patrol, taking Stoatskip, Haventail, and Plumshine with him. While walking along the border, they notice an OatClan patrol renewing their scent marks up ahead. The patrol leads give a quick nod of acknowledgement when they pass.
Kokichi leads the final patrol for the moon, going hunting with her son and Brokenspots. The patrol hears distant howls and goes to investigate, the sound leads them to a coyote, scavenging from a carcass. It notices the patrol before they are able to run and lunges forward, making it clear that this food has been claimed. Brokenspots' tail is momentarily caught between the coyote's teeth before Buzzardpoppy and Kokichi retaliate and drive it off their Clanmate.
Thoughts before the New Moon:
Featherfoot wonders how Howlkit is doing :(
Stoatskip is sparring with Clanmates, he also no longer has romantic ticks for Hazelbloom but still has one for Gracklegorse. Uh Oh.
Plumshine has been roped into play mossball with the kits :3
Outside of BumbleClan territory, Whisker stays in a Twoleg den for a couple of days for food and warmth. Meanwhile. Razzle exits his den to scratch at a tree he's been eyeing.
From StarClan, Runnelkit is sad to watch her family grow up without her :( throws up

Moon 23:
Stoatstalk has recovered from his infection.

Gracklegorse takes group sunbaths with on two different days, the first day is with Quarter and Flowerkit, the second Haventail and Brokenspots.
Howlkit and Yewkit get into a fight over a feather, and end up breaking the feather in the process. It's ok bc they swap favorite prey later :3

Hazelbloom is given elder leaves for his sprain. Brokenspots is given oak leaves for her mangled tail. Squirrelface and Golddawn gather cobwebs and plantain, Featherfoot is unable to find any herbs.
Squirrelface wonders how Mudfurs doing. the elder wishes to get to know her better :3

Stoatstalk is a bit cross with Howlkit. She's nervous for her apprentice ceremony next moon.
From StarClan, Runnelkit is looking to visit her brother in a dream soon 🥺
Outside of Clan territory, Whiskers gets invited to spend the night with a group of friendly loners. Razzle wanders around his neighborhood.
Mudfur privately requests a meditating session with Squirrelface to Quater, she happily agrees and helps the cat respect each other a bit more.
Patrols:
Sunstar and Gracklegorse go hunting with Plumshine. i reset the game bc gracklegorse died the same way moonthistle did. Plumshine encounters a porcupine and narrowly avoids it whipping it's tail towards them. The patrol gives the porcupine a wide berth.
Stoatskip takes Kokichi and Buzzardpoppy with him for border patrol. They track the scent of a large dog along the edge of BumbleClan territory. Stoatskip selflessly leads the lion's share of the run they lead the dog on, exhausting himself a dangerous amount, but leading the dog far away from BumbleClan borders. His Clanmates support him on the long walk home once it's all over, their purrs mixing with Stoatskip's exhausted pants.
Haventail follows the medicine cats with them to gather herbs. As Featherfoot pads through the territory, he senses a presence join them. The connection goes away as soon as it appears god DAMN IT YALL--
Thoughts before the New Moon:
Howlkit snuggles up to her worried mother, Sunstar watching over the kit cautiously.
Featherfoot checks in on the warriors, Squirrelface is grateful for the fellow medicine cat's help. Plumshine wonders if the she-cat has gotten any prophecies.
Brokenspots eavesdrops on her former mentor, who is setting a positive example for the soon-to-be apprentices alongside Hazelbloom and Kokichi.
From StarClan, Fawnroot plans to send a message, while Runnelkit is thinking of advice to give a medicine cat. oh baby :(
its at this point the hyperempathy started kicking in and my motivation for the game started to die down, so like 80 years later i finally get back to the next moon. thats just what happens when u get a game abt cat death while cat death is one of the most upsetting things u can experience

Moon 24: New leaf begins anew
As Howlpaw touches noses with her mother and now mentor, she hopes she'll get to do something great for the Clan. Like chase off a fox! That'll show the Clan she's the best apprentice ever! Her brother, Yewpaw, can't sit still as he touches noses with Kokichi, swearing to become the best warrior the Clan has ever seen.
While his original sprain has healed, Haventail as gotten a stomachache, alongside Buzzardpoppy, after sharing an old fresh kill together. Yewpaw has also gotten whitecough. Yewpaw. look at me. Don't You Dare
Stoatstalk and Squirrelface took a moonlit stroll together ooooooooo
Mudfur finds a bit of fluff that reminds her of Yewpaw, she considers gifting it to him.
Sunstar and Howlpaw heckle at other Clan cats at the gathering together. mother-daughter bonding... She also jokes with Brokenspots abt another Clan being stinky hold on as leader shouldnt you be a bit nicer-
MUDFUR AND SUNSTAR GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT??? NAUURR
Thoughts and In-Camp actions:
The medicine cats were able to find a good amount of herbs the start of this moon, Squirrelface finding mullein, and the older cats gathering moss, cobwebs, goldenrod, and rosemary. Brokenspots tail is rapped up with more cobwebs, and Stoatstalk's claw-wound is treated with ragwort.
Sunstar thinks about forming an alliance. well you called at most two other Clans stinky and heckled at them so good luck w that bbgrl
Gracklegorse is unsure of what the rest of the Clan thinks of him as deputy :( naur not the old insecurities returning

After some careful thought, Quarter decided to given herself the full warrior name of Quartermoon, happily accepting that she will likely spend the rest of her life with BumbleClan.
Patrols:
Sunstar and Howlpaw go with the medicine cats to gather herbs. As newleaf brings green back to the world, Squirrelface has been anticipating the unfurling of new leaf buds on elder trees. The patrol goes to find a particular tree in a dip along the stream. Elder leaves being used to soothe sprains, while gathering them in a way that risks sprains, is truly one of StarClan's little ironies. Squirrelface shares a joke with the patrol, who all murrp in amusement, but also take it as a reminder for everyone to be careful as they strip leaves from the tree.
This precious little moment was also caught when I went back to look at camp. family...
Kokichi takes his kids out for a hunting trip. A rabbit startles the patrol while bursting out of it's cover, they rally almost instantly, and manage to corner and successfully capture the rabbit!
Gracklegorse takes the remaining warriors out to secure the border. While on their way, Staotskip notices some suspicious pawprints in the mud under the canopy. The tracks lead to a tresspassing rogue. Hazelbloom throws himself at the cat, hissing furiously, and with his partner they drive the rogue off BumbleClan territory. Gracklegorse gives them a nod of approval.
Howlpaw informs Quartermoon of Sunstar and Mudfur's argument earlier this moon, and the molly works quick to meditate the issue. The elder and leader are on stable terms once again.
Final Thoughts:
Sunstar dreads a meeting she must call later today. bbgrl whats up :(
Golddawn wonders how Stoatstalk is doing. The answer: He feels a sense of dread.
Haventail is feeling under appreciated... girl i appreciate u so fucking much

Not to be all 2012 r/atheism but it is kinda frustrating how hard it is to get people to understand that I don't believe in ANYTHING spiritual or supernatural. Like I say I'm an atheist and people think that just means I think church is homophobic but also still totally believe in god and heaven and souls and w/e. (I actually would like to go to a UU church if I still had the ability to regularly wake up on a Sunday morning.) So then I try secular humanist, and they still don't get it. Like the more I try to explain in a way that might get through to people, the more I start sounding like the most annoying condescending things Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris have said.
I have dealt with multiple therapy groups that say they do "holistic" therapy and list stuff like art therapy and music therapy. But then it turns out they also do acupressure and ashwagandha and qi. This latest one was so annoying because I said I was a secular humanist, I don't believe in anything spiritual, I only believe in science, I specifically listed some of the alternative "medicine" stuff that's been pushed on me in the past that I don't want. And then the lady assured me that oh dw by holistic they just mean art therapy and music therapy. It was only after she told me they were affiliated with one of the worst, most toxic, most unscientific groups I've had the displeasure of dealing with, that I pushed for more clarity and she admitted that they would use reiki in meditation. (Meditation is evidence-based, reiki is not.) Like the fact that she didn't realize they could be done separately was just *sigh*
Like why not just be up front? Why not just say "we do holistic therapy, such as acupressure, reiki, and natural herbs"? Why pretend that all you got going is art and music and yoga? Are you trying to trick me into practicing your bullshit?
My religion is science. Please respect my religious beliefs and don't try to force yours on me.

Also the 'sweet old hermit' thing is just mildly incorrect in the fact that 'sweet' really should mean 'relatively friendly' and 'formerly evil' really just meaning 'driven by instinct and following in his brother's footsteps'
If there's any really 'evil' dragon (they're actually wyverns) in skyrim, it would be Alduin (mostly because all the info I have at the moment is that his motives behind his actions are just because he can (it's been a while since I played Skyrim so this isn't 100% fact))
Yeah dw about it, the person who started that argument is a straight cis white girl who doesn't believe that autism exists and uses the r-slur constantly, so I just sort of automatically assumed that she was the inflammatory weirdo by default. No idea how she found my blog either, I pretty much keep to myself and never diss on media unless its absolute garbage like HP or Marvel, because my interests are extremely niche and I know that just because I don't like something doesn't mean that it's bad, it's just that I'm a picky little bastard.
And yeah lol, I skimmed his wiki page and was kind of baffled both by the dragon thing and by the 'formerly evil' bit because a.) while wyverns are part of the draconid family group, they're a subsection that's visually distinct from true dragons, and b.) pretty much nothing about him read as evil, just as him being a dragon. I'm admittedly quite prickly about both concepts, because calling wyverns dragons is like calling a Brewer's blackbird a raven and 99% of the dragons in media are demonized just for acting like a normal-ass apex predator, which pisses me tf off (and is a very western-christian centric concept of 'man vs nature', 'man must tame nature by force' concept that I have to rant about later), but he seems like a lovely fellow! I support his desire to be a meditative pacifist just as much as I support his former crimes against humanity. What a nice lad

Dear Dad,
It is now, like, so late. It's so LATE!
It's probably not even the 23rd today, but the 24th because it's so late. But it's the middle of the night, so it's impossible to tell exactly what time it is. I'm back at the Dw apartment. I don't know where everyone else is, so that's a little bit of an issue for us, but it will be okay. Because we're all still fine, I didn't drink anything weird, but I wanted to write to you before I went to bed even though I'm so tired, exhausted even! But it's going well. The play was weird. There was a lot of dancing around, and I'm not entirely sure, but I think some really not cool stuff happened, but oh well.
Grace is already asleep. She wanted to get some sleep while the others still wanted to party, so we came back. We weren't the only ones, and I'm sure we won't be the only ones tomorrow, either. But it was actually kinda cool to see all of it and all the people. I think there might have been, might still be a lot more people in this city than I thought there were because there were just like, a lot of them, like so many people, of all ages!
There's going to be more of the stuff tomorrow: plays, dancing, drinking, partying. If there's a solid week of this, no wonder there's so much "meditation" during the days.
I also made sure to stop off and drop off a sacrifice, snackrifice, to a couple of the people, gods, I mean, who might be able to help us get home.
I don't know if it'll actually help, but it's better than nothing, and you never know what might help, ya know?
I'm going to have to do some more research tomorrow to see if I can figure out what the whole performance last night was cause I know it's supposed to be about the creation of this world. Still, I don't actually know what any of it meant.
Oh well.
I'm going to sleep. Grace and I managed to call dibs on the boy's bed, and they're probably not going to kick us off.

Lilac lifted up her phone not knowing where Carol was she instead sent a message to her, what more could she do. She wanted her to know she was thinking of her.

So, snuggled up under like, three layers of blankets--she asked Judy for a couple blankets because wowee it was still kind of fucking cold--she kept scrolling and scrolling and scrolling.

And then messages from her Lyli, appeared right before her.
Her tail started to wag involuntarily.
...That excitement quickly turned back to frustration. FUCK WHAT WAS SHE DOING HERE IN SHUIGANG SHE COULD BE WITH LYLI RIGHT NOW MAN. AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH--

She went to go type something to her, but

Well, she wanted to. She wanted to write a billion things and talk to her about a billion things and just say all of the things in the world.

“We should go get some dinner together” you tell Venti while you, him, and the traveller walk outside the Cathedral
“Yeah! We haven’t had a date night in a-”
“Well, well, well” Signora interrupts Ventis response “Who would have thought I would catch Barbatos and The Leader of the Winds in the same place” she smirks in a low tone of voice
“I don’t like your tone of voice fatui” you snarl stepping forwards and putting your arms out protectively in front of Venti and the traveller. Signora’s hand shoots out and grips your face
“You should watch your tone” she snarls back using her other hand to punch you in the gut
“[name]!” Venti yells upon seeing your body crumple onto the floor. Venti watches your body try and get back up before you get hit with an ice block summoned from Signora’s catalyst. The traveller runs past Venti with their sword up, just to be kicked down by one of the agents. “That’s enough” Venti announces clapping his hands together and revealing his archon form.
A few people from the cathedrals piazza and a few curious gazes from within the Cathedral see the transformation. Nothing is spoken between them, no one wants to make a noise and are held in anticipation.
“I think it’s time for the invasive vermin to sit down before they cause any trouble” he announces summoning a wave of anemo down upon the group of fatui. Signora sinks to her knee and lets out a low growl
“Rodents need to keep in their lane” she growls lunging forwards to attack Venti. Through some bad luck Signora still manages to get her grubby hands on the gnosis. And as she begins to walk away you summon your own wave of anemo to at least make her stumble as she walks away. As much poise you can take away from her is a win.
Venti skids on the ground beside you with a concerned frown on his face “[name], are you okay?” he asks, you nod a few times
“Yeah, I just need to meditate for an hour or two” you respond with a small pained smile. And without much he scoops you up and flies towards Windrise.
“Cats out of the bag for us ey?” Venti asks as he settles you down onto the floor, you try your best to sit up, you smile and nod to him with a hum,
“Yeah…” you trail off “Are you going to-”
“Sleep?” Venti offers, you nod again. He shakes his head
“Tides are changing [name], I think I want to see what happens” he replies with a smile, you smile and nod
“Thank the archons,” you lean over to give Venti a kiss on the cheeks, he smiles and reverts to his bard form
“She still took what she wanted, right?” you ask cocking your brow, Venti nods looking down to your shoulder where he then rests his head. “Bitch” you mutter under your breath, the bard giggles beside you.
“[name]” he says raising his head from your shoulder to look at you, you meet his eyes. You watch as his eyes flick between your two eyes “If anything happens to you, I don’t think I’d be able to live with it” he tells you, “If Signora did anything more I don’t thi-”
“Venti” you say firmly interrupting his words “You’re spiralling love. I’m here, and mostly healed” you smile cupping his cheek. Venti leans on your palm and closes his eyes
“I know love, but…” he trails off
“I know” you smile giving him a kiss
The next few days are eventful. The two of you are bombarded a handful of times. In some cases being the mainly forgotten protector works out, while Venti is bombarded with question you often get to disappear from the invasive questioning.
“You’re the Leader of the Winds right?” a small girl asks, you crouch down beside her and nod
“Yes I am” you reply with a soft smile
“You saved my mummy when she was my age!” she tells you in a matter-o-fact tone, you raise a brow
“Did I now?” you ask, she nods with a grin. You can recall saving a similar looking girl some twenty or thirty years ago. “If you are ever in grave danger call my name okay?” you tell her taking her hands “That’s what your mummy did” you add with a nod
“What’s your name?” she asks curiously. You tell her. The girl nods again before running off
“Where did you learn the calling of your name trick?” Venti asks behind you, you chuckle
“There’s some angst lord in Liyue who taught me that one” you reply as Venti helps you up. “Do you think this commotion will die soon?” you ask. The bard sighs
“A man can only dream” he replies, “But I’m sure it will”
“Lets make the most of it and see how much free alcohol we can get”
“[name], this is why I love you”
