- Mirror, please don't misunderstand me: Lithuania is a beautiful country with lots of possibilities. It's just that I've chosen Latvia because... Lithuanian languge is cute - Latvian language is Goddamn Hot, yk

#my aunt married a Latvian man and she got me into Latvian language and culture #she often also calls Latvia an ass of the world but mostly because she lives in the most prorussian region #she likes to scold this country for what it's worth but lmao don't you dare to say something bad about Latvia near her #only she has the right to criticize it - anyone else? instant kill #I once asked why doesn't she go live in UK or something then - and she just looked at me disgracefully and said “no.”#like??? okay...#she's Belaruthian btw #she used to give me books sometimes. sadly my Latvian knowledge is still near 0 #her love-hate relationship with Latvia is something which inspires my art #she can talk about Latvian language for literall hours - I wish I had this passion towards my studies #she often talks about how much she wanna go live somewhere with lot of sun like Italy or Spain but when she actually has the possibility #she just doesn't. she says it's because in comparison to Latvia - South's food sucks ass - and I can hardly disagree with her #well she also loves her husband #and she can't live without good food #Latvia has fucking awesome food objectively #we once went to a local cuisine restaurant - and my aunt laughed like crazy because of how I was illuminating with happiness #when they brought us some squids with hot cheese and chanterelle creme soups
