Synopsis: It’s your senior year of college-- 4 years of slaving away during the summer heat in Mondstadt and practicing with the marching band, winning awards after awards, but never making it to championships. " He called you?" Hange asked as Y/n and her sat in the living room. Hange had invited Y/n over since she was back in LA.

" Yeah. Last night. It was like two in the morning for me. He seemed upset, I'm not really sure." Y/n said, before Hange's eyes widened.

" What did he say?" Hange asked, before Y/n sighed and lifted her glass to her lips to take a sip. The wine Hange had poured was specifically to soften Y/n up, considering it was her favorite.

" He asked if we could meet, to talk about what happened. He also said he loved me, at the end of the call." Y/n said, looking down. Hange frowned, knowing that Y/n felt bad.

" What did you say? Do you still love him? Did you tell Fushiguro?" Hange asked, before Y/n shook her head.

" I told him I loved him too. I do. I do still love him Hange." Y/n said, and Hange stood shocked. " But Megumi doesn't know. I don't know if I can tell him." She said, before taking another sip of her drink.

" So what are you gonna do? Are you gonna see him?" Hange asked, before Y/n nodded, finishing her drink.

" I am. I feel like he still carried the, negativity of it with him. I just want us to be on better terms." Y/n said, before Hange grabbed the wine bottle to pour Y/n another glass.

" Well, I hope the conversation goes well. Are you seeing him today?" Hange asked, before Y/n nodded, taking another sip.

" Yeah, I am. That's why I stopped here first. I saw Megumi earlier and I guess he thought something was wrong. Apparently from what Nobara told me Megumi thinks I'm lying to him." Y/n said to Hange, before Hange shook her head, taking a sip from her glass.

" about what?"

" I'm not sure, he didn't tell Nobara. Whatever it is I wished he would just talk to me."

" Maybe he's just paranoid, you never know how his last relationship went."

" Hange his ex girlfriend slept with his dad. If I was him I'd be paranoid too." Y/n said.

" WHAT?! HIS EX SLEPT WITH TOJI?!" Hange asked, before Y/n nodded and sipped her drink.

" Yeah, she did. Then she got pregnant. Toji payed her to get rid of it. Megumi was, pissed." Y/n explained, before Hange went wide eyed.

" Oh wow. Yeah he has a right to be. Maybe talk to him later today, situate it." Hange said, Y/n nodded. Just then, her phone buzzed, as she checked to see who had sent her a message.

" It's Levi." Y/n said, tapping away at her phone.

Levi: Hey, are we still meeting today?

" What did he say?" Hange asked, before leaning over to look at Y/n's screen as she typed.

Y/n: Yeah, I can go to you if you want. Or you can pick me up, I'm meeting up with Hange first and then we can meet up and talk.

" Smooth smooth." Hange said, before Y/n laughed.

" Thanks Hange." Y/n said, before her phone buzzed again. This time Y/n read it out loud.

" From Levi, okay I'll pick you up, and tell four eyes I'll beat the shit out of them if they tell anyone I picked you up." Y/n read, before Hange smiled.

" I won't tell a soul." Hange said, before Y/n smiled. Her phone buzzed again.

Levi: I'm on my way

Y/n: Okay, text me when your outside. You can pick where we go.

Levi: Okay

" Are you nervous? Because I'm nervous." Hange said as Y/n stood up pacing.

" what if the paparazzi see's us? Then Megumi finds out. Then I get in trouble with management. Then-"

" Y/n calm down. I'll go out first and see if paparazzi is outside. If anything, I'll tell Levi to take you from around back." Hange said, before grinning. " Plus, Levi has tinted windows~ if you know what I mean." Hange winked, before taking the empty glasses to the kitchen.

" Hange please don't make me think that." Y/n said as she sat down on the couch. 'It wouldnt be the first time.' Y/n thought, before shaking her head. Y/n sat as she began going through her social media, before seeing a post from Gojo. It was a picture of Megumi and Nobara and Gojo all with cups of boba. She liked the picture before scrolling past it again. Then, her phone buzzed, seeing Levi's notification come up.

Levi: I'm here. There's paparazzi outside so I'm out back.

" Hange he's here!" Y/n said, before grabbing her things together.

" Oh! This is exciting!" Hange said, before she dried her hands off.

" He's out back." Y/n said, before Hange nodded.

" Let's get you downstairs!" Hange said, practically dragging Y/n out of her apartment.

" Hey Levi!" Hange said before Levi rolled his eyes. He was in the garage of Hange's complex, waiting for Y/n.

" Shut it four eyes. I need to steal her from you." Levi said, before nodding towards Y/n. Y/n smiled and nodded to him, happy to see he seemed a lot better since yesterday.

" Of course! Take her off my hands please. I'll leave you two be, remember Y/n, his windows are tinted~" Hange said, before Y/n rolled her eyes.

" Sorry, she's been making that joke since she found out you were on your way." Y/n said, as Levi walked her over to the passenger side of the car.

" It's fine, when isn't she making jokes." Levi said, opening the door for Y/n. She said thank you before getting in as Levi shut the door for her.

'Huh, his windows are tinted, and darker than last time too.' Y/n thought to herself, before Levi had gotten in.

" So where are going?" Y/n asked as Levi exited the complex, paparazzi swarming the main entrance of the building. Thankfully they seemed to be preoccupied with whoever they were taking pictures of, so getting by them was a breeze.

" You'll find out. It's a surprise." Levi said, before turning the radio on.

" If your not gonna tell me at least give me the aux." Y/n said, before connecting her phone to the car, finding music to put on. " Have anything specific you wanna listen too?" Y/n asked, before Levi nodded.

" Anything from you." Levi said, his eyes never leaving the road. Y/n felt her face heat up slightly, before nodding.

This was going to be quite an outing.

update—

For those who is waiting for the series ‘resurface, my love’ to update, I have some unfortunate news. This series will be temporarily put on hold as my summer has gotten incredibly busy; I will also be revising chapter 0-2 because there are some plot holes I’d like to cover. I have failed my chemistry regents by one point, meaning that I have to restudy this subject and take it again. Adding on top of that, I also have mandatory summer classes i have to attend. Mixing in with my already busy schedule, I’ve gotten a job working from 10am-7pm. (If my life isn’t already any harder 💀💀)

Thank you all for your patience! I will be pumping out one last fanfic before I temporarily disappear for the time being.

Title: Snow day with Genshin men

Prompt(s): Kazuha, Albedo (ft Klee), Diluc + Snowday

Notes: Fanfiction Secret Santa!!! This is my entry. Merry Christmas @shayewrites. I'm sorry this is so late 😅.

Being a wanderer, Kazuha has experience with all types of weather. Usually, during snow, he will get himself a warm drink and sit around. But ever since you became a thing, he started to branch out into other traditions. He would gladly let you drag him outside the moment the first snowflake fell.

"Kazu! Kazu!" You yelled as you ran into the kitchen where Kazuha was writing something in his notebook. "Yes, Dove?" He looked up from the notebook with his usual calming smile. "It's snowing!" You yelled, "Let's go ice skating!" Kazuha's smile widened and he nodded, putting his notebook down.

You ran to the front door, with him on your tail. You grabbed your coat and threw it on, throwing him his, and doing the same with your scarves, skates, and hats. Then, you threw your door open and ran out into your snowy front yard. Kazuha followed. You glided on the ice excitedly, doing a spin. You then proceeded to fumble out of your landing and fell into Kazuha's arms.

For Albedo, snowfall wasn't a very rare occurrence. I mean, he spends 70-80% of his time doing research on a snowy mountain. When you decide to bring Klee to Dragonspine to visit him, he always puts down his research to spend time with you two.

"Big brother Albedooo!!!" Klee called as she ran up to him, a wide smile on her face. Upon hearing her voice, Albedo put down his test tubes and turned to her with a smile of his own. "Hi, Klee." You ran in after her and took a second to catch your breath. "Hello, Love." Albedo turned to you. "Hi, Albedo." You walked up to give him a quick kiss on the cheek. "What brings you here?" He asked as he turned to put away the things he was using for his experiments. "Klee wanted to see you." You responded, giving the girl a pat on her head. She giggled. Albedo nodded.

Later, the three of you went out to make snowmen. You smiled as you helped Klee roll a big snowball, the size of her head, to use as the snowman's head. Albedo had already made a body for the snowman. The three of you lifted the head onto the body. Then Klee ran off to look for stones for the buttons, eyes, and mouth. Albedo went after her to make sure she doesn't get lost, while you went to get a carrot for the nose. Klee came back with a handful of stones. You helped her put 3 on for the buttons, and lifted her up so she could put the eyes and mouth. Then, you put her down to put the nose.

Diluc was never one for celebrating. He usually spent snow days indoors doing paperwork. After you moved in, this changed as you would insist on making him take a break to sit by the fireplace with you, drinking hot chocolate.

You took a deep breath before knocking on the door of your husband's office. "Come in." You heard his voice respond. You slowly opened the door, peering in and seeing Diluc sitting over some paperwork. He looked up at you, a soft smile gracing his face. "Hey 'Luc, I made some hot chocolate, come sit by the fire with me?" He nodded. "Sure Darling."

He put his paperwork away and sat up to follow you to the fireplace. You sat on the couch in front of the fire, two mugs of hot chocolate in front of you, and a cute blanket lying on the couch. The two of you sat down and you two sat on the couch and he wrapped the blanket around the two of you. You leaned onto his shoulder and he smiled at you. He kissed your forehead and lightly patted his head. You mumbled a soft "I love you". He giggled at that. "I love you too, Darling." He gave you a soft kiss on the forehead.

underneath the moonlight

synopsis: in which you wonder if you are holding kazuha back and he reassures you how much he loves you. fem!reader

if you could put time in a bottle, you would have chosen any of the various times you and kazuha spent on the crow’s nest together when he returned home, overlooking the moonlit sea beyond the shores of inazuma below and underneath the glittering stars above. both of your feet dangled over the edge, gently swinging in time with kazuha’s soft hums that formed the most beautiful of melodies.

but despite the perfect scenery and the comfort of your one and only partner, you could still feel the cold chill of anxiety that sent a shiver up your spine as the breeze brushed across your skin, reminding you of the true reason you had asked kazuha to meet you up here tonight. to his credit, he had been patient, not pushing you to speak just yet, but as his song came to its ending decrescendo, the deafening silence was antagonizing you with each passing second.

finally, kazuha turned to look at you, worry laced in his gentle voice, “my dearest y/n, what’s on your mind?”

in that instant, you nearly backed out of your own plan to share the worries and doubts that had begun to plague your mind to him. instead of revealing your vulnerabilities and insecurities that were slowly eating away at you, perhaps you could finally tell him those three little words that you hadn’t been able to say that lingered in his every touch, in his every glance, and in every song he sang for you. that would fix everything and make all these baseless doubts disappear, right? it would make this night memorable for him in a much better way than you had planned.

no, you knew better than to play with someone’s heart like that, especially your own. your heart couldn’t take it. still, that very same heart was starting to beat out of your chest, your stomach was beginning to churn, and your eyes were starting to water at the very notion of sharing the insecurities that were holding you back, that we’re holding him back. so with all the courage you could muster, you managed to ask, “kazuha, do you ever think there might be someone else better out there for you?”

his eyes narrowed, searching your features for sincerity. he then brought a hand to rest on your forehead, like a mother would check their child’s temperature. when he found no fever, he hummed to himself before moving to tilt your head to the side, eyes roaming your skin intently.

“what are you doing?” you finally asked, confused about his sudden change in behavior.

he tilted your head the other way, still scanning every inch of your exposed skin. calmly, he replied, “checking you for any injuries. only someone who had been knocked upside the head would ask something as absurd as what you’ve asked me.”

you jerked your head away from his grasp, hoping the cold, night wind might cover the slight dust that had started to creep onto your cheeks, “i’m serious, kazu. what if i’m not the right one for you after all?”

he frowned, his hands slipping into yours, “where is this coming from, darling?”

where to start? you saw the way his eyes gleamed as they pulled out of inazuma’s port, the way he was able to strike up a conversation with just about anyone, and how his shy, yet gentle personality was alluring to all he encountered. he shined like the sun when he was away from you, when he was surrounded by new faces and new places, yet he always came home to you. it was endearing at first, knowing you’d always be the one he came home to, but somewhere along the line, that endearment turned into anxiety that he might be happier away from the land of lightning and away from you.

your gaze fell to the wooden planked floor, his gaze too soft, too concerned for you to hold, “you’ve seen the world beyond inazuma, kazu. you’ve seen places that i can’t even begin to imagine, and you’ve likely met tons of other men and women that are more attractive, more intelligent, or more free-spirited than me, yet you always come back here to inazuma, to me. it makes me wonder if i’m,” you sighed, “ if i’m holding you back.”

kazuha used his free hand to lift your chin, to make you look into his crimson eyes that were filled with tears of their own, “please don’t say another word. in fact, let me tell you something before you let anymore of those doubts creep into your mind.”

he squeezed your hand while moving to cup your cheek, “i love you, and only you. when we met all those years ago, i wasn’t sure who i was. i was a lost and wandering samurai without a purpose, but in you, i found something i had been searching my whole life for, a home.” he offered a soft smile, using the back of his hand, still enveloping yours, to wipe away a stray tear streaming down his cheek, “love, you were the one i would come home to after traveling with tomo, and in you, i found my rest. i still do.”

tears were now starting to fall down your cheeks at his words of reassurance as he continued, “while i may be gone for days or even a week or so at a time, you are always in the forefront of my mind. i could be climbing to the top of dragonspine or exploring the depths of the chasm, but my heart always brings me back to the only person whom i could ever love. you, my dear.” he pulled you into his chest, allowing you to hear his beating heart, steady and true, “coming home to you is my favorite part of any journey. i love to travel and to explore teyvat, but at the end of the day, the only place i want to be with you, holding you in my arms once again.”

you looked up at him from where you lay on his chest, “you mean that?”

he laughed, his laughter ringing out above the wind and the sounds of the sea crashing against the side of the Crux, “silly girl, there’s only one place i’d choose to be, and that is right here underneath the moonlight with you tonight.”

you snuggled closer into his chest, “how poetic, my samurai.”

“only for you, my love.” he whispered into your hair “don’t you ever worry your pretty little mind about holding me back, because when i’ve traveled the world and seen all that it has to offer, i will always return to your side, to be yours and yours alone.”

“ She posted these pictures from her album release concert that was held in L.A. She wrote with the caption. ‘ Thank you so much L.A for giving me a night I will never forget. The fans are truly my home and I can’t thank you enough for giving me the opportunity to do what I do best. I’m honored to make you all just as happy as I am when I am with you. Truly yours, Y/n-‘ Now isn’t that sweet? We just love Y/n and she seems to be having a great time. The post was rumored to be liked by Levi Ackerman, the singers Ex- Boyfriend of four years.” The reported said, before continuing.

“ But that isn’t all. Y/n posted this photo on her instagram story with the caption, ‘ One of my biggest supporters and my best friend. Love you so much, xoxo Y/n.’ This was the picture.”

“ Y/n posted this to her story shortly after she posted the pictures from her concert. But it doesn’t stop there. The tea is hot today everyone! Paparazzi caught Y/n and Megumi Fushiguro out in L.A as a diner getting all cozied up with one another.”

“ Y/n and Fushiguro seemed to be kissing or what seems like a more-than friends interaction. Given all this evidence I think it’s safe to say these two are definitely more than friends.
