Hey guys,

When my brother got married back in August I had my makeup professionally done and for someone who always does their own makeup I really enjoyed the experience. While I was having my makeup done I was chatting to the makeup artist and I noticed she was using products from The Beauty Crop. Personally I had never heard of this brand before but I loved the way the products she used held my makeup. So naturally once my makeup was done I got a list of products from here to order and today we are chatting about 2 of them.

If like myself you didn't know about the brand, The Beauty Crop is an affordable brand that offers luxury quality products. The female funded and created business produce products which are plant-based, nutritional formulas that transforms the skin. Every product is created with clean ingredients so they can look after your skin while you're using them. Now we know about the brand let's chat about the products I picked up.

The first product I picked up was the Oui Cherie Hydrating Gripping Primer XXL, £14.00. Online a lot of people have compared this formula to the Hydra Grip primer with very similar ingredients but a much more affordable price. This primer is a oil-free, tacky based primer so it can really hold on to your makeup. As well as making your makeup stay in place all day it also hydrates your skin. I've been using this for a while now and I love the finish it gives my skin. Also don't be scared by the red it fades when you rub the primer onto your face.

I also picked up the Porefilter Mattifying Mist, £24.00. Now yes £24.00 is on the pricey end of the setting spray price mark but I have to admit one bottle will last you ages so it's a good investment. Let's chat about what makes this spray so special, this ultra-fine mist contains oil-absorbing agents to help mattify skin and polymers to set & seal makeup all day. Made with hydrating Hyaluronic Acid, and pore-reducing Niacinamide, this spray can be ideal for acne prone skin (according to their site) as it hydrates your skin while smoothing it.

So far I am adoring these products because together they really seal my makeup in place without feeling heavy or like I have a million different products on. So if you're looking for a new brand to try why not check out The Beauty Crop. As always all products mentioned are linked above.

Hey guys,

Since shopping all the Halloween collections I have been using Makeup Revolution products more and more recently especially their facebase products. Previously I have tried the IRL Filter foundation , £9.99 and adored it, I can honestly say it is one of the best drugstore foundations I have tried this year so far and I recently found out they have expanded their range of IRL products!

Now if you haven't seen the foundation or any IRL products before, the foundation is designed to give your skin that social media filter in real life. It blurs your skin while giving you a satin matte finish. Personally I love how buildable the coverage is for this foundation and yet it feels so lightweight on your complexion so it doesn't clog your pores. Really worth checking out if you want a luxury quality but drugstore price friendly foundation.

I can only imagine that after all the success of the foundation they decided to expand the range releasing 2 new products. The first new product is the Makeup Revolution IRL Pore Blur Filter Primer , £7.99. I have admit when I see pore blurring primers I'm always curious if they actually work or not but luckily for me this was a good surprise. This primer is a lightweight, blurring and mattifying primer aiming to minimise the appearance of pores & fine lines to create the perfect base. Like the foundation it is also oil free and is made with vitamin E to hydrate your skin. I have been using this product for weeks now and can really notice a difference with my pores when I use this primer. It's a silky formula so it applies like a dream and sits beautifully on the skin.

Now for the second new product we have the Makeup Revolution IRL All Day Filter Fixing Spray , £7.99. This setting spray is my new drugstore favourite, it is a pore blurring, lightweight and longwear fixing spray to keep your makeup in place all day long. It is enriched with Niacinamide and Humectant Powder to hold your makeup in place and help create a flawless base. I adore this spray because the applicator is more of a mist then a spray so you don't drown your face.

my base routine pt 2 ୨♡୧

contour/bronzer:

i use the elf putty bronzer and the makeup revolution fast base foundation stick . i dot the foundation stick pressing gently 2 dots on each side of my forehead and chin, 3 dots on each cheek then on my cupids bow and under my bottom lip. after i place these i take an angled brush with the elf brozer and blend the dots making sure to go upwards on my cheeks. then with a flat brush i draw on my nose contour and blend out with a small fluffy brush. then i apply the makeup revolution powder bronzer with a big fluffy brush and small fluffy brush everywhere i applied the cream bronzer

blush:

after i finish blending my contour i apply nyx powder puff lippie as cream blush and etude cookie blusher on top, i apply the cream blush in 5 dots on my cheek bones, 3 dots on the outer corners of my eye lids, 3 dots on my chin, a dot on my nose, on my cupids bow and under my bottom lip and blend with a beauty blender. then apply the powder blush on top.

highlighter:

first i used the abh moonchild pink heart highlighter, then the fenty wattabrat then the diamond bomb. i apply these on top of my cheeks, nose and under my brow.

setting spray:

i use the makeup revolution infinite and fix & glow sprays. i spray the infinite after im done with all my cream and liquid products, after im finished with all my powders and one last time before my lips. i spray the fix and glow at the very end of my makeup as a finishing spray.
