Hiiya, sorry that this mightn't be the usual lore ask you get but do you know where I can find like good LFG servers or clans? Specifically ones fine with LGBTQ+ folk? Ive been looking around for a while since theres only so much you can do solo and I don't trust the big or main sources of LFG to always have decent people, so im wondering if you have any recommendations?

I have one! Link is in my pinned post! My discord is for LGBT+ people and people with disabilities. We chat and do LFG and everything in there. Microphone is never mandatory so if that's a concern, no worries about it. There's always some event going on, you can also set up your own events to fit your time and people can join. We have an associated clan as well (2 of them now, because one is close to being full). We run all content and help people out with anything, regardless of experience. If you've never done a raid, it's okay! Someone will help to teach! We're primarily all about being chill and patient with people because a lot of players have anxiety about playing in groups, especially if you're LGBT+ or have disabilities, it can be tough. Anyone is welcome to hop on and see if they like it. Link again here too. There's a link to the clan there as well.

Also if anyone else has other suggestions, feel free to share for more options! We're at around ~400 members, though not everyone is equally active (depending on the timezone and day, there's never more than like 30-50 people active at the same time so it's never really overwhelming). If you're looking for something smaller, any suggestions are welcome here!

I left a server that I loved very much today because someone I considered to be a friend ended up blocking me. Because there was obviously discomfort there, I didn’t want to step on toes, so I left.

I’ve been sitting in discomfort for about the past year or so, quietly wondering if I’d been going crazy that things were shifting. I noticed that people stopped talking to me. So I guess they had? Clearly something changed that made my friend not my friend anymore. I may never know. I can only guess what even happened.

I already live in this festering bile of unknown in my home life, it hurt a lot to be in a similarly silently precarious position in a place that helped me heal so much. It sucks. It majorly fucking sucks and I got exhausted

I guess my takeaway is that having DID and being a trauma survivor doesnt always mean that people are willing to communicate adequetly. Even being a professional. That fucking sucks, but I’m not oblivious anymore, I’ll be a little more careful.

Sorry if my post is mean. I’m triggered too. I have been for a while and I’ve been nice and quiet. I got tired of that, so I tried to do things decently and right about this all today so people don’t feel the unique hell that is wondering if you did something wrong.

Hermit Age Regression Headcanons Discord!

After much indecision, I've finally set up a Discord server! Rules under the cut, invite link will be at the end to encourage you to read the rules first :)

Don't panic if you join and don't see all the channels! It's set up to where you need the "Member" role in order to see them to discourage people from joining with ill intent. You'll receive your member role after introducing yourself.

There's a variety of channels to chat in, including fluff and angst channels, as well as a bot command channel for anyone who uses Tupperbox and Pluralkit.

Feel free to ask questions! My inbox is always open.

RULES

1. Be kind. Don't give unwanted critique on other people's creative works or pressure them to do it your way instead, and if a topic makes someone uncomfortable, move on.

2. Be 13+. Per Discord's guidelines.

3. No NSFW content or discussions. If it wouldn't make it into a Hermitcraft video or stream, don't send it here. Which is to say, mildly suggestive jokes (on par with Scitties) are alright, but anything outright NSFW, including non-sexual kink, is not to be discussed or shared here. Swearing is perfectly fine, however.

4. In the same vein, do NOT sexualize age regression. Any content or discussion of age regression in a sexual context will be removed without warning and will result in an immediate ban.

The Max server is great safe space! I am worried that the link being public is very compromising to members. We are only one bad actor away from people being doxxed/discussions being read on Twitter

To address the content of this message… the link only went public when I posted about Max Fest, as I wanted somewhere for people to get involved and didn’t think it was worth creating a separate space for that.

I do completely understand your point, but I really think that nobody should be posting information online that will get them doxxed in the first place.

In the server everyone HAS to post an introduction which includes their tumblr url, ao3 (if they have one), and age so we can have an awareness of who everyone is and what sort of content they are posting as well.

I’ll remove the link from my pinned post in the interest of making people feel more comfortable, but I physically cannot remove it from the Max Fest post… and also I’m not sure I would want to as I want people to enjoy the creativity of that Fest!

But also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t post personal details in discord servers in the first place! ♥️

Hiya, I'm sorry if this sounds a little sad but I was thinking of joining your server but I'm worried it might get too big eventually and causing anxiety.

That's understandable! You can join any time and try it out. We have a policy that people can come and go as they please, no questions asked. You can always check it out and give it a go and if it's too much, you can always leave. And if you change your mind later, you can always come back. Lurking only is fine as well! If you just want to get some activities done but lurk otherwise, it's 100% okay. And ofc you never have to use a mic.

Everyone always greets new people who join so if you do join, you'll see a bunch of us throwing worm emojis at you as a welcome. As I said, lurking is fine and you don't really have to make any special introductions right away or anything so you can take some time to look around and see if you're comfy in there.

I had a couple people ask me this so I just wanted to confirm- my server (sims utopia) is still open and you can still join if you like! It's a lot smaller now so it'll be easier to manage, but anyone that was previously a member or wants to join for the first time can just DM me or send me a non-anon ask for an invite 😚

My old best friend was someone I made a public fuss about. They always had a special tag on my blogs and I’d tag them in things that reminded me of them. They quietly resented me for it. I think maybe I didn’t know them as well as I thought and pushed an idea of them on them. I think that I annoyed them with too much pestering. When they cut me off I was really blindsided and hurt by it. They just never communicated with me.

I’m scared now of making my friends resent me by building up assumptions about what they’d like or who they are. I’m shy around nicknames and associations and making a public fuss. I’d been choking out the ways I knew how to love because someone I cared for was hurt by it. I’m always flailing wondering what to do and if theres secret resentments from people who say they care about me

With Chime I was and am healing. That was what Chimecore was always; at the root, a public protest to the damage we’d both been dealt over and over. This time I was on a receiving end too, which is new and very healing.

Then I guess with Lee that thing came true again. Despite multiple explicit conversations about how okay we were, I’ll never know what the actual issue was. They refused to talk to me. And that’s fine. If you check on me, I’m sorry if it was something like this I did and was blind to again.

I’m trying again with -core tags, a more public statement of claiming my friends to be mine. Again, a protest. Again, mending fresh damage. If that’s problematic to you, then you are the problem. This time I’m including Fable because I got the explicit okay to. I don’t want the loss of friends make me pull away from the ones I know I have again.
