Head and back scratches
If you run your fingers through his hair he will MELT. being autistic and having sensory issues means you kinda get used to being a little itchy everywhere all the time, so you forget how amazing it feels to be scratched. PLEEAAAASE sit on top of him and scratch his back!!! he will literally be yours forever. he just wants your hands on him all the time scratching and caressing and holding. even better if you let him lay on your lap while you scratch his head. mess up his hair all you want, that’s how you know it’s GOOD scritches

sensory cave step by step (with photo examples)
this is two parts: a nest and a sensory area.
step 1: place blanket on floor and add ring of stuffed animals, pillows, and/ir other blankets in a circle pattern
Step 2: cover with blanket and tuck in at edges. May take multiple blankets (I used pillowcases on the feet)
Step 3: add throw blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals to your
Step 4: add soft, non fluorescent lighting such as fairy lights, fake candles, or any non-white lights
I used candles (FAKE) and a mushroom light
Step 5: add any sound objects you may like such as speakers, cd players, rain machines, etc
(Mine is tucked behind the head rest area)
Step 6: add nearby area for stim toys, books, snacks, devices, light remotes, etc
I used a folding table. I have the books I’m reading, a fidget cube, fidget wood snake, hand sanitizer, headphones, mp3 player, phone, chargers, chargeable battery pack, remotes for changing the colors on the mushroom, controlling the candles, and controlling my room light, a dvd collection, and my portable dvd player in the bag.
Step 7: if possible, cover with sheet or blanket like a tent/canopy.

Too hot? You just take the straps off and walk around with pants.
Too tired to think? It is one article of clothing and if you're really tired you don't even have to wear anything under it.
Feeling masc? Well you look like a hot woman who just wants to get some work done.
Feeling femme? I look like an artsy lesbian who just wants to get back to painting and kissing my girlfriend.
Like I'm never taking these off. I would like seven of them, in maybe three colors, so I can wear them every day forever and ever.

Facebook Memories showed me the time I hung out in the Sensory Room at my brother in law's old adult center, way back in 2015. They had this soft fluffy bed with light fliments hanging from the ceiling and that's where I spent the better part of an hour.

Do you remember the show Fairly Odd Parents? What if an autistic kids had fairy god parents and what would they wish for? Fairy god parents are sometimes strict with their wishes.
Do I remember Fairly Odd Parents? Of course I do Anon! My favourite character was Chester McBadbat! And because my birth name was Crimson, people used to call me the Crimson Chin 😂
I think it would be so cool if autistic children had fairy god parents. I feel like it would make life a whole lot easier. I know I would feel more comfortable talking to fairies who were designed to help me, than any of the adults in my life. I think they could wish for a whole bunch of cool sensory stuff. Like sunglasses that actually block out the right amount of light.
They could wish for music that only they can hear. Or a hoodie that is always soft and warm. I would wish for cool alt clothes that don’t set off my sensory issues. Or fireworks that aren’t loud. Or I wish that every animal I meet let’s me pet it!
Having fairy god parents would solve all of my problems actually! What would you wish for Anon?
