uh oh it’s npmd theory time with grey who didn’t get enough sleep last night ~~

so

a post earlier got me thinking

it talked about how npmd had too neat an ending and it didn’t make sense that ruth and richie, being pete’s best friends, weren’t even mentioned after their deaths and there was no mourning for them

we all know how miss holloway made a deal with the lords in black to receive immortality in exchange for everyone who gets close to her forgetting any part of her story they learn

my theory is that the lords in black placed the same curse upon the town of hatchetfield

if anyone is killed by the lords in black (or dies as some part of their schemes) their loved ones immediately forget them

it would explain how nobody really cared when max went missing

‘it’s hatchetfield. people go missing every day’ because they are immediately forgotten about

now you could argue that tom didn’t forget jane when she died and her soul was transferred into their car via a spell from the black book - and maybe that’s because that was unplanned on the lords’ part

maybe they didn’t mean for it to happen so their forgetfulness spell didn’t work

(whether or not jane dies in every timeline remains to be seen, the langs have stated it’s not one of those fixed points that has to happen, like emma and paul meeting or ted dying)

this theory also brings back the ever-intriguing point i can’t stop thinking about: maybe the events of npmd were fabricated by the lords in black

maybe they wanted all of what happened to happen

they were pulling the strings from the beginning

they knew grace would eventually be the hero, and only wanted steph to kill pete for their own enjoyment

npmd felt like it ended on a huge cliffhanger, for me anyway

there are a lot of unanswered questions and something about this story feels unfinished

Some Psychonauts Musical thoughts because why not?

Just the first game for now

Maybe for an opening number "Welcome to Whispering Rock" sung by all the counselors & the campers -- it's at the end of this song that Raz first appears

Raz gets an 'I Want Song' about becoming a Psychonaut -- takes the place of Raz & Dogan's talk at the game's beginning

For Basic Braining, Oleander sings a song about being at war -- sometime around Meat Circus he sings a reprise, but this time about the truth

Lili sings a song to Raz - "Not Like the Old Days" - where she explains that the Psychonauts don't do exciting things anymore while listing various events from the comics

Sasha gets a song for Sasha's Shooting Gallary where he explains the importance of controlling your emotions

Milla's song is disco and upbeat as she teaches Raz levitation -- it takes a sudden sad turn when the orphanage comes up

Boyd has a conspiracy theory song that gradually becomes more and more nonsensical as it goes on

The plays in Gloria's Theater are now operas?

The other inmates (Fred, Edgar, & Crispin) sing a group song when Raz enters that area

Sheegor's song maybe explains how Loboto became in control of the asylum

LOBOTO VILLAIN SONG

LILI & RAZ DUET? -- Maybe while the adults are fighting in Loboto's lab or maybe earlier just before Lili gets kidnapped

Raz & Augustus duet -- when Augustus finally gets through to Raz & they team up to defeat the Two-Headed Dad Monster

@justhere4kpop slid into my DMs and said "seventeen with piercings" and now i need to get the thoughts out. i would say happy two post day, but midnight just hit oops (this will not include all members sry)

honorable mention first to seungcheol, whose smiley can only be seen when he gives his most elated grins. he started this.

joshua, whose snake bites are usually adorned with pretty, delicate studs or wiry rings; his soft smiles are all the more dazzling for it.

hoshi, who got his nipple (just one) pierced on a drunken dare. he much prefers the nostril piercing he shares with seokmin and seungkwan.

wonwoo, who slides his tongue over his spider bites and catches them between his teeth when he's flirting particularly hard.

woozi, whose bridge piercing is in the perfect place to highlight the way his nose scrunches when he's annoyed or thinking too much.

the8, the most pierced of them all, with his ears decked out entirely and a vertical labret that's absolutely entrancing when he speaks.

and vernon, whose dimples are even cuter with those shiny little studs highlighting them.

the duffer bros just tried to put so much into season 4 that they literally could not even keep up with it. will is one of my favorite characters but he was so unbelievably pointless this season, as was mike and jonathan. argyle is another character i loved but he was pointless as well. they spent way too much time with the russian plotline which absolutely could have been condensed and jason was the most useless waste of time ever. the whole scene at susie’s house could have been cut down, no one needed to know more about her family i mean what even was the point of that?? i have no clue why they would want nancy and steve back together they could have made that such a strong friendship instead and let steve grow into his own human. same with eleven, if she would have broken up with mike by saying she needed to be her own person and figure out who she was on her own that would have done so much for her character and mike’s as well. why was mike such an asshole to will? even after he said he wanted them to be best friends again we never saw that happen... also what happened with all the parents joining together and watching the kids run away and commit crimes (slashing the cops tires)? that was never resolved. why the fuck even mention will’s painting when it meant absolutely nothing in the end and wasn’t even as good as his drawings in season 2? also, while i enjoyed chrissy and thought she was sweet they spent way too much time on her character when they were just going to kill her off right away anyway. we could have had more time watching el and will’s sibling relationship, or had some scenes with el and joyce instead. why wait until like the last 20 minutes to bring everyone together? would’ve had such a bigger impact if we would have gotten to see more of el and hopper reuniting. big bummer we didn’t get to see more of joyce and will together too. i loved their scenes in season 2 and would have really enjoyed more of them together. why did no one else mourn eddie? why is half of the gang at the school just chillin’ when they know vecna is the reason for their town being ripped to shreds??? i have questions.

okay actually i need to ask abt this bc im second guessing myself

when does smut go from mature to explicit?

i labeled both Learning To Swim and And You Know That It Takes Two (and i think Compromise?) as mature, not explicit, mainly for the fact the descriptions of the sex is not that...graphic i guess? or is it? or is my brain defaulting to internalized shit of "if its not penetration its not ""real"" sex" and therefore not explicit? does describing genitals in detail count as explicit??? like its just bodies. hmpf.

help. every time i look at AO3's labels, im like yeah thats mature, not explicit, for those cases

A/N: Hi, long time no see! Here i am again with a random idea I’ve got while working a few days ago. Based on Livin’ la vida loca by Ricky Martin (it's a huge bop even if it came out two decades ago, so you can’t blame me). Hope you enjoy it! As always, likes, reblogs and comments are apreciated ❤️

Sipping from her drink, Natasha scanned the bar finally meeting the pull she's been feeling for a while, now. Like a magnetic wave forcing her to move.

Studying the area, her eyes landed on a redhead staring intently at her; and as if she was casting a spell, the scarlet lips at the edge of her glass were like an invitation for Natasha to give away all resistance she possessed, just to try those lips.

'Fuck'

Natasha finished her drink in one big sip and licked her lips as she started walking to her target, never breaking eye contact.

'Game's on' she cheered on herself to block the uneasy feeling creeping at the back of her mind.

Natasha's mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water at those big eyes. A deep forest green sparkling with something she couldn't poit her finger at.

"You okay there, Miss?" The redhead faked worriness, placing a hand on Natasha's arm. The skin-on-skin contact made the babyhairs at the back of her neck creepas a chilling wave ran up her spine.

"Yes," was all Natasha could muter as she tried to break the link between both pairs of green eyes.

"Are you alone?" The deep, thick accent in her voice was like a compelling spell.

"Why? You've got plans?" Natasha asked back, daring to show strength to the redhead.

Smirking wickedly as she grabbed her hand, the redhead guided Natasha out of the bar. And Natasha let her. No mater how much the alarm bells were going off in her head.

Unbenknowst to her, the redhead had her prey right where she wanted it.

With the beaming sunlight infiltrating through the cheap motel's curtains, Natasha grunted as she tossed in bed, wondering what she's done to wake up with a pounding head and an empty feeling consuming her insides.

All she could remember was auburn hair, captivating green eyes and inviting burgundy lips.

Lips that she remembers as clear as day all over her body.

Shivering, she decided to go in search of the closest café in order to fully wake up.

But her illuson of tasting the bitter berverage had to wait just a bit longer.

"That fucker," Natasha growled as she stared at her empty wallet. All the burglar left was her documents.

Humming at the steamy tea cup in her hands, Wanda inspected the tomatoes on the stand, picking the best ones for the dinner she planned for Pietro's return.

"Took me a while, but I found you," Wanda froze at the voice that plagued her mind since that night at the bar.

Turning around, the brunette clutched her hands, remaining confident.

"I'm sorry. You must've mistaken me for someone else," she faked a kind smile.

"Bullshit," Natasha retorted. "You might've changed your hair, but those eyes are not easy to forget." The redhead grabbed Wanda's arm and dragged her out of the farmer's market. "Don't make a sound," she warned.

"What you think you're doing?" Wanda knew causing a scene would draw attention to her and she didn't need to worry about that.

Letting go of Wanda's arm after confirming the brunette would follow, Natasha spoke. "I want my money back."

"I- I didn't take it."

"I woke up with an astronomical headache and an empty wallet. I don't care what the fuck you slipped in my drink, but I know for certain that you're the culprit."

"Look, I promise I didn't-"

"Quit the lies." Natasha threatened and Wanda felt herself shaking. "Why did you do it?"

"I- I'm sorry. I didn't have an option," Wanda shrugged, never meeting the redhead's gaze. "Easy money when your work has a shitty payment," she confessed.

Natasha could see the distraught in the brunette, and like an invisible force linking her soul to hers, she felt compelled to know more about her. And she would lie if she didn't admit it scared her.

"At least, tell me your name,"

Wide-eyed, the brunette acepted the outstretched hand. "Wanda,"

"Well, Wanda. I'll forgive your debt, if you go for a coffee with me," Natasha proposed.

And Wanda couldn't help the smirk taking over her lips for a few seconds before she composed herself.

"Guess you'll know how to find me," Wanda winked at her before starting to walk away, leaving a dumbfounded Natasha behind.

Little did the she know, Wanda's old habits die hard.
