do i want to play black widow in the background while studying for my ukrainian grammar lecture, only to get mad halfway through because of how poorly this movie portrays slavic people or should i just study in silence.

If someone ever reads my journal(s) after I’m dead, they’ll see my angsty poems and think ‘oh wow, she struggled a lot with her boyfriend/love life in general’ but no actually those poems are about Starscream or Phasma

I hate being on crutches and I hate being in pain and I hate that I have to work and I am just miserable folks

if there was something about fandom that i'd say to my younger self, it would be that one person/group doesn't fully define a certain fandom and their experiences may not be what everybody experiences in that fandom.

and that's a good thing, actually. not all of the people you'll meet in a fandom are going to be toxic people who harass people for not liking a certain thing, but not all of them are going to be good and talented people who passionately create content for their fandom.

maybe the real reason why you're afraid of interacting with others is that you're afraid of being judged for liking/hating something or having an unpopular opinion. but i'm sure it won't happen to you. if it does happen, try not to mind much. worrying about what random people say all the time will ruin you will keep you from focusing on what's important.

but try to have common sense and try to be a decent person, and also not get yourself involved in drama you'll regret being on later.

you don't have to feel like you messed up just by enjoying things you like. cringe culture sucks, don't let these sorts of people get inside of you.

and a 2ft tall gremlin who lives under a bridge and runs a dungeon where it tortures people by forcing them to play sso & listen to endless horse game rambles
