I’m sure you wanted to kill him. I’m glad you held back.
[ID: 9 gifs of yoo ji-tae as choi kang-woo and woo do-hwan as kim min-joon in “mad dog”. 3 scenes are interwoven, one of them in black & white and framing the gifset in the beginning, middle, and at the end. in it kang-woo tells his friend park moo-shin: “i was dying to kill him. i wanted to kill him. but min-joon suddenly called my name, saying: ‘mr. choi, let’s stop this.’ and when he said that, i saw mi-sook’s and joo-won’s face on his face.” the two remaining scenes are in full color, showing examples of min-joon stopping kang-woo: in the first one, min-joon holds kang-woo’s fist, the latter turning to him angrily and shouting: “let go, you punk!” but min-joon only looks at him with soulful, pleading eyes, telling him to “stop”. kang-woo looks back at him, stunned, face twitching as the words finally get through to him. in the second one, kang-woo is about to strangle someone to death, but min-joon shouts through the gap of a door locked by a chain: “don’t kill him! don’t! you can’t become a murderer!” kang-woo seems to snap out of it then, letting go of his unconscious victim. /end ID]

Your darling sister. She is dead. You broke down in your bedchambers as Daemon came up to you, engulfing you in a comforting hug as you continued sobbing. “Shh” Your husband ushered, trying to calm you down.
It absolutely broke Daemon’s heart seeing the person he loved most in his entire life so broken. He wiped the tears away as he planted a kiss on your forehead.
“Her funeral is to be held tomorrow, so rest my love” He whispers against your hair as you sniffle, moving your legs to your bed, Daemon soon following.
“She wanted to die a dragon rider’s death, not on her birthing bed” You quietly spoke, your back turned to Daemon, his hand laid rest on your hip drawing circles. “I know sweet girl” He replied. Your hand coming to his to squeeze it before moving closer to him.
~
She was gone. The emotions started rolling in as her casket submerged in the water. You sobbed as Daemon pulled you in to his chest, kissing your forehead.
You wrapped your arms around his torso as your three children clung to your dress. “Stay strong” He rubbed your back as you wipe your tears and face the front again.
Your heart broke seeing your nieces, Baela and Rhaena comforted by your mother. You also saw Rhaenyra and her two boys, Her eyes seemed to be fixated on the man beside you before she gives a small smile to you.
~
“Have you seen the children?” You walk up to Daemon, his eyes somewhere else. He doesn’t reply making you furrow your eyebrows. “Daemon.” You call out again, his eyes moving from the side to your eyes.
Your gaze follows where his eyes were and you lock eyes with Rhaenyra. Turning back around, Daemon looks down at his cup. “Do you know where our children are Daemon” You repeat, “They’re over there” He gently moves your shoulders towards the direction of the boys.
He wraps his arms around your waist and gives you a kiss, “I want to introduce them to their cousins,” You say, holding his hand on your shoulder as he smiles sweetly to you. “That’s a great idea.”
Walking up to your boys, Maegor, Rhaegar, and Baelon, you hug them all giving them kisses on their forheads. “My sweet boys, I want you to meet your cousins” You say to them as you lead them to Rhaena and Baela. You look around to find Daemon but he was no longer where he was.
“Auntie,” A voice calls out as you turn your head and spot Lucerys. Confused, you still give a smile and crouch to his level. “What is it Luke?” You question, “Have you seen my mother? She’s not here” At his words, you look around and he was right. Rhaenyra was nowhere to be found.
“Uh, I’m sure she is somewhere close by. Stay with me if you’d like” You kindly smile to the dark haired boy as he nods. You completely trusted Daemon. Though not the same could be said about Rhaenyra.
~
Your eyes take in the sight infront of you. Aemond infront of a maester as he stitched up his eye, Luke with a bloody nose and the disheveled appearance of your nieces who were in the arms of your mother Rhaenys.
You were accompanied by your three boys, Daemon was still nowhere to be found and you had been waiting in your bedchambers for him but he never returned.
The big doors suddenly open as Rhaenyra came into view. Her hair messy and her clothes untidy. What shocked you the most was Daemon who appeared behind her. He leaned against the door, his eyes looked around but they never met with yours.
You felt a string pull your heart, a pull of sadness. No, that wasn’t right. Daemon wouldn’t do that to you, or his children who he dearly loves.
You had no doubt of his loyalty. But you did remember how in the early years of your marriage that he was always cold to you. That was when you found out he was in love with his then 18 year old niece.
You were no stranger to the Targaryen’s customs in keeping their blood pure. But as the years went on and you produced heirs for Daemon and created a family, he no longer longed for Rhaenyra, but you instead.
A loud gasp escapes your lips as Alicent charges at Rhaenyra with a blade. Your eyes couldn’t help but notice how Daemon slightly moved, like he was contemplating in stepping in but stayed.
After the whole ordeal, Viserys ordered everyone back into their rooms. Your eyes tried to find Daemon but it was too crowded to see where he was. “Where’s father?” Your youngest, Baelon, questioned as you caress his cheek.
“I will find him, go with your brothers to your rooms” You say as they nod and leave. Before you could move further, you were pulled by the hand.
“Father-“ “Your brother is dead” You blink a few times, processing Corlys’ words. “I-“ You were shocked to say the least. How could this day get worse. Losing both your siblings in a span of a day. “H-how?” You stutter as you hug your father.
“We found him in the fireplace, a quarrel of some sort we believe” He says quietly. You knew he was trying his best to keep his composure. “Where’s mother?” You say looking up at him as he looks away.
“Your mother is not in great condition-“ “I will stay here,” You interrupt him, “for a few days atleast” You were both in shock and grief and wanted to stay in the comforts of your home with your parents.
Corlys gives a sad smile and nods his head, “Your mother would like that very much.” He says before a tear drops and he is once again in your embrace.
~
“The boys will go with you back to Dragonstone where I will meet you in a couple of days” You sadly smile, your hands locked with Daemon’s as he nods giving a quick peck on your lips.
Maegor, Rhaegar, and Baelon rush towards you engulfing you in a hug as Daemon watches. “Be good as always” You whisper to them as they nod and you watch as their boat leaves, Daemon on Caraxes as he soars in the sky.
~
After a few days at home in Driftmark, you had yet recieved any letters from your husband, Daemon. Usually he would write to you when you were apart but nothing had arrived.
“Princess, your sons are here” A handmaiden knocks on the door as you look towards your mother, you had not been expecting them. You hurriedly walk outside, Rhaenys close behind as your boys come running to you.
Worried and confused, you hug all three of them. “What is it? Where is your father?” You ask them as they exchange looks at one another. “Father married Rhaenyra!” Baelon lets out as your eyes widen.
“W-what?” You couldn’t believe your ears. Daemon, your loving husband marrying his niece Rhaenyra. No. “It is true mother, we watched father marry Rhaenyra” Your eldest, Maegor quietly said as tears started forming in your eyes.
You couldn’t help but feel a sense of betrayal and disgust. How dare Rhaenyra marry your husband after your brother died not long ago. “They killed my son, your brother y/n, so that they could marry” Your mother said through gritted teeth. A few tears roll down your cheeks as you hug your boys. They were your everything.
“We will be staying here from now on” You could tell your sons felt a sense of betrayal and hurt, as much as you did. They watched their own father marry their second cousin. Later that day, you decided to write a letter to Daemon. In the letter, you wrote that if he dared to come anywhere close to you or your children, you would not be afraid to feed him to your dragon, the Cannibal.
Not even a week later, the man had the nerve to show up at Driftmark. You had to ensure your dragon wasn’t anywhere close as he would have killed Daemon right there and then. You refused to go out and talk to him so your mother did.
You listened and watched from an open window, “I commend you for your bravery Daemon for showing up here. Though this will be your last time you ever set foot here at Driftmark or anywhere close to my daughter. I deeply regret letting my children marry you and Rhaenyra!” Rhaenys fumed as Daemon listened.
He continued to say nothing before nodding and turning around, making eye contact with you as you stare at him with no emotion. His eyes however, showed regret and sadness but you brushed it off.
~
6 years later…
You scoff at your mother’s words. “Luke is no true Velaryon and everyone knows that,” You stand up from your seat as Maegor looks at you. “My eldest, Maegor, is the rightful heir to the Driftmark throne, he is of my blood, true Velaryon blood”
As much as you liked the young boy, the matter of your son’s righteous title was on the line. You knew everyone would be on your side, apart from of course Rhaneyra. “Daemon would be an idiot to deny that his own flesh and blood is the heir to the Driftmark throne”
His name in your mouth was odd. You say his name with such disgust. “I would agree but he seems to be blinded by Rhaenyra now” Rhaenys gives a knowing look to her daughter.
You roll your eyes. Daemon had infact two sons with Rhaenyra and one still born daughter. Rumours had spread around saying that she gave birth to a half dragon.
“Viserys is dead, I hear Alicent and her father now rule before her son is crowned King. I dislike her truly, but she only has the right mind when it comes to birthrights” You smirk as your mother nods.
“We will travel to King’s Landing to take back what is rightfully yours Maegor” You place your hands on his shoulders as he nods at you.
“Prepare the dragons, we leave in the morrow.”
~
“My sweet girl!” You beam as you run up to your daughter, scooping her up in your arms. You had found out you were expecting a couple days after Daemon left Driftmark for good.
It saddened you at the same time as Daemon had always wished for a daughter and here she was, but he was in no position to be able to call her his daughter.
You gave your dragon, the Cannibal, pets as you had your daughter in front of you, gripping on the saddle. You take off and you smile at the sight beside you, Maegor on Vermithor, Rhaegar on Grey Ghost, and Baelon on Seasmoke, you late brothers’ dragon.
The sight was menacing and frightened everyone at Kings Landing. You smirk at the sight of all the dragon keepers scrambling around as you and your boys land your dragons.
“Touch any of them and my dragon will feed on you” You call out as Baelon snickers. “Ah, Princess, what a lovely delight to see you” Alicent acknowledges you and your children with a smile.
“Like wise, I am here to discuss my eldest Maegor’s birthright claim to Driftmark” You say as the Queen nods, “Of course, an audience is held today on that matter” “Thank you” You bow at her before you and your children walk into the Red Keep.
How dull the place was. It was cold and grey, definitely not fit for raising a family. You valued your years at Driftmark with your family. It was filled with nothing but happy memories after you completed your family. You often remembered how much Daemon disliked this place, saying that it was more of a prison than a castle.
~
“Who’s side are you on Daemon?” Rhaenyra shouts at him, Daemon was sat on a chair with his left hand massaging his temple. “I’m on no one’s side!” He yells frustratedly.
“But you know deep down Rhaenyra that your boy is no Velaryon, having him sit on the Driftmark throne is nothing but disrespectful and wrong. And you know that” He points at her.
Baffled at his husband’s words she spoke up, “It’s because he’s your son isn’t it?” She spat out. Daemon does nothing but groan and stand up.
His marriage with Rhaenyra was crumbling. At first it was perfect, an uncle who once longed for his niece was nothing but a memory. He was not happy as he used to be during his marriage with Rhaenyra, quite the opposite with you, he soon found out.
He remembers how he used to lust for Rhaenyra when she was all but a maiden, but now, she was a mother who birthed 5 children. She was different to what he wanted to believe.
He thought he could chase his younger days when Rhaenyra was in her late teens. But he was wrong. They were both dragons who clash all the time. He missed you. The simpler and happy days unlike the days he was going through in King’s Landing.
Constant fighting and being at each others throats. They both knew they were out of love for each other. “He is of Velaryon blood, is he not? His mother is a true blood making him heir” He retaliates, this argument going on for far too long.
“And you forget that Luke’s father is of true blood too!” Rhaenyra fires back, knowing her words were lies. This made Daemon laugh, “Lucerys is no son of Laenor, nor is Jacaerys or Joffrey. How long are you going to keep up this facade Rhaenyra?” The princess said nothing, she was infuriated with Daemon, as always.
~
You walk through the halls of the Red Keep with only your boys with you. The people who walked past awkwardly stare at you and your sons, some handmaidens of Rhaenyra most likely.
You wore a deep blue dress that cinched your waist and was a square neck exposing your collarbones. Your boys grew up into spitting images of Daemon, and so was your daughter.
The doors to the throne room opened infront of you as everyone turned their heads to your direction. You spot Alicent and her father infront of the Iron throne, her children to the left. Your mother had also arrived and brought along your nieces.
Your eyes then lock with Daemon’s for the first time in 6 years. You quickly look away from him and look at Rhaenyra who was throwing daggers your way. Maegor stares at Lucerys who shifts closer to his mother making him chuckle.
You stop in between the greens and blacks. Ever since you stepped into the room, Daemon’s eyes never left yours. You looked happy, and more alive than he felt. He then looks towards his three boy, all grown up and taller than you.
He adored them, they were his first children after all. “We gather today to discuss the rightful heir to the Driftmark Throne-“ Otto loudly says before interrupted Rhaenyra.
“Which is obviously Lucerys” She butted in making you look at her, “Speak when spoken to Princess,” Alicent calmly says making her look back to the front. “Princess y/n, state your case” Otto nodded to you.
All eyes were on you as you speak up, “If my son, Maegor was to cut his veins, pure Velaryon blood would spill out. If I was to cut Lucerys’, all but Velaryon blood would spill” You turn your head to Rhaenyra.
“Is that a threat Princess?” She sneered, holding her arm out infront of Luke as Daemon stood back without saying anything. “Would you like it to be? Your son is no Velaryon, everyone in this audience can agree. I will not have a fucking bastard sitting on my ancestral throne” You raise your voice, your body now facing hers.
“My brother would be ashamed of what is happening right now, he too knows that Maegor is the legitimate heir to the Driftmark throne. Not Lucerys.” You finish before turning back to the front, not before looking at Daemon who held a small smile.
“And to add to that, I have preposed a marriage between Maegor and Baela and Rhaegar and Rhaena” You smile towards your nieces as they smile back. Anger filled Rhaenyra. Ever since she saw your youthful looking face again, she couldn’t keep a scowl off her face.
Jealousy radiated off of her as she watched you walk down the stairs, you weren’t thickened in the waist unlike her even after birthing nearly the same amount of children, you didn’t have eyebags under your eyes and most of all, you seemed happy. Something she sought out from Daemon.
Rhaenyra also noticed the look Daemon gave her as she appeared, a look he hadn’t give her in a very long time. “Princess Rhaenyra, you may state your case”
And so she did, but it was filled with nothing but lies that she continued on. Everyone wore a bored expression as she defended her illegitimate son. A final ruling was put down, one that made Maegor heir to the Driftmark Throne.
After the crowds started filling out, Daemon had the urge to follow you and talk to you. He was no doubt still deeply in love with you. He thought marrying his niece would bring back the younger days he thoroughly enjoyed but no.
Instead, when he married her, only the days with you clouded his mind. Rhaenyra followed Daemon before they both stopped infront of an ajar door where their eyes widen in shock.
“Darling, come here” You crouched to meet her level as she wrapped her arms around your neck making soft giggles leave your mouth.
You were interrupted by the door opening. “Y/n…” Daemon started, his eyes on the little girl who looked too much like him. “What are you doing here” You questioned, placing your daughter back on the ground.
Before Daemon could speak up, Rhaenyra beat him to it, moving past him. “Who is she?” Rhaenyra questioned, you could have sworn you saw a glint of jealousy in her eyes as she looked at your daughter. “My daughter, Visenya” You proudly smirk.
You knew Rhaenyra had always wanted to name her daughter Visenya but the gods has other plans for her. “What a nice name” She shakily says before giving a tight lipped smile and rushing out of the room.
Your eyes then flicker towards Daemon who had an unreadable look on his face. “When did you find out” He questions calmly, closing the door.
“A couple days after you left Driftmark” You say in a monotone voice as Visenya busies herself with a toy. The two of you watch her as a small smile made itself on Daemon’s lips.
He hated himself so much. He hated how instead of being a faithful and loyal husband to the most beautiful soul, he decided to run after a childish dream.
“And you didn’t tell me? You didn’t think to inform your husband that you were pregnant with my child-“ “Don’t.” Your lips quiver as tears began to form. “You were not my husband. You were already married to Rhaenyra so why would I tell you?” You yell at him, your handmaiden quickly walking in to take Visenya.
“I know I made a stupid decision but she’s my child too! And you know how much I love our boys-“ He points to you, “You left them fucking traumatised! They had to watch their own father marry their second cousin. How fucked up is that?” Daemon stayed quiet at this.
You sigh before sitting down on the edge of your bed, “Does she even know who I am?” He quietly said, taking a seat beside you. “Of course not. She’s too young to understand and I don’t think I’ll ever be ready to tell her the truth” You look over to him.
He gulps but nods his head. “I understand” Daemon quietly says as you stand up. Smoothing out your dress, you start walking to the door. You give a final look towards Daemon, a single tear dropped before you quickly wipe it off and leave.

A/N: hi, my friends!!! this is a rewrite/repost and has been edited for a (hopefully) smoother, more enjoyable read. fun fact that this was one of the first Stranger Things fanfics i ever wrote. it was originally titled She Was Straight From Hell, But You Could Never Tell, and featured Eddie alongside an OC. i’ve changed it to be reader-insert, because that seems to be more in my writing wheelhouse nowadays. this fic will be multiple parts — it begins with backstory, but will eventually branch off into a universe of little smutty ficlets where Reader will corrupt virgin!Eddie as much as humanely possible.
Eddie hadn't known about the existence of his little brother until two months ago, when Al Munson showed up in the middle of the night with a small child in tow. Eddie didn't even know his dad was out of prison again, and yet here he was, in the flesh, a little boy with a mop of black curls resembling Eddie's own cradled in his leather jacket-clad arms.
Al was lucky Wayne was working or else this family reunion would have gone south fast.
While Wayne wasn't Al's biggest fan, Al was Eddie's dad, and Eddie would always hold onto as many moments with his father as he could get, no matter how sparse, and no matter how much of a self-serving piece of shit asshole Al Munson truly was.
But Eddie didn’t see it like that. Eddie saw it like this: His dad lived a hard life. His dad struggled with addictions. His dad lost a wife, just as Eddie had lost a mother. His dad tried his best with what he had.
Deep down, Eddie knew these were all just sorry excuses, but he kept that truth tucked away, not wanting to deal with the reality that Al truly only cared about himself.
He already had one dead parent. If he cut his dad out of his life, he’d basically have two.
"When'd you get out?" Eddie asked, stepping aside so Al could enter. His eyes followed the child, brows furrowed. The trailer was always Al's first stop on his freedom tour and the older man had always brought some sort of baggage along with him -- never a little kid, though. What the hell kind of trouble had his dad gotten into this time?
"Few days ago," Al replied, heading for the living room. He placed the sleeping child down on the worn sofa, then straightened and faced Eddie. "Listen, son, you gotta do me a favor. I'm not out long this time. I might've robbed an ATM or two last night. I'm kinda on the lam."
Al didn’t even have the decency to look sheepish at his wrongdoing.
Eddie was used to this. Even when Al was a free man, he was never a free man for long. He didn't think his dad knew how to coexist among non-inmate citizens. Eddie didn't think his dad even wanted to. Prison was a creature comfort for the elder Munson. Eddie wasn't necessarily mad at that fact. He was happy when Al was locked up, because then at least he knew where his dad was. Otherwise, Eddie worried his father would eventually get himself into a situation he wouldn't be able to get out of, and Eddie would really never see him again.
Eddie was also used to Al showing up after months and months, sometimes even years and years, such as now, always asking for favors.
"Who is that?" Eddie asked, pointing towards the couch, not being able to ignore the other human in the room any longer.
"Yeah, that's kinda what I need your help with.” Al rubbed at the back of his neck. "Well, no way to do this other than to just say it. That there's your little brother, Eddie. His name's Oliver. And I need you and Wayne to look after him while I'm gone."
"My... what..." Eddie stammered, face scrunching up. He expected Al to burst out laughing and admit he was just fucking around, and that this tiny sleeping stranger was actually just the kid of a fellow convict buddy. Maybe it was said convict buddy’s turn to rob ATMs tonight, leaving Al the babysitter. Irresponsible. Unlikely. And, turns out, untrue.
With Al's silence, Eddie knew his dad’s admission wasn't a joke.
Eddie was beyond confused now.
"Dad, how... you've been in prison for six years!"
"Conjugal visits," Al answered with a bit of a smug shrug.
Eddie shook his head in disbelief. "What the fuck? Wayne can't afford another kid that's not even his... and I'm in school still, I can't watch him... this isn't... I don't know how..."
But Al was already making his way to the door.
"I know you'll figure it out. I can always count on you, my boy," Al prided, tone cheery as if the favor he'd just asked of Eddie was to give him a quick ride somewhere or find an old family recipe.
Al wasn't acting like he was ditching another Munson offspring off on his older brother. He was treating this like an issue of minor importance, just a little speed bump on an otherwise flat road.
Al Munson was not an upstanding person. Never had been, never would be. Because of this, Eddie shouldn't have been surprised or appalled, but here he was, standing with his mouth agape. Surprised. Appalled.
His dad was out the door with a lighthearted, "See ya 'round, son," and Eddie was left speechless in the middle of the living room.
𖤐 ֪ 𖤐 ֪ 𖤐
Wayne got over the new addition to the Munson household fairly quickly.
While he'd been livid at first, calling up all of Al's old friends he'd still had the numbers of to try and find out where his dumb shit of a younger brother was, Wayne eventually became resigned to the idea that he now had another little boy to rear and mold.
What else could he do?
Wayne took care of his kin, especially if they were innocent bystanders and had no say in being born in the first place. He'd raised Eddie, and although he knew the boy had his struggles, he didn't think he'd done too bad of a job.
Eddie never went hungry, always had clothes to wear, a bed to sleep in, and Wayne was the one who haggled Eddie's van down to a reasonable price so the boy could pay for it with his lunch box salary.
Wayne knew about the weed and the pills, but so long as Eddie stayed smart about where he was selling and who he was selling to, he didn't much mind Eddie's unconventional line of work. It helped his nephew stay somewhat social, and Wayne knew how important that would be for Eddie's future. If the boy was nothing but a lone recluse his whole life, he'd probably end up just like Al. Nobody wanted that.
Eddie was just about grown now. Sure, he was rearing twenty and still in his senior year of high school, but Wayne had an inkling that '86 would be Eddie's year.
Wayne had always thought about selling the trailer and buying an RV with retirement money once Eddie was out on his own. He wanted to travel the country for the remainder of his life.
The idea that he'd have to raise up another wild Munson for the next fifteen or so years caused a knot to form in his stomach.
Would Wayne even be around for that much longer? He may have been relatively healthy, and he was only in his mid 60's, but Wayne wasn't an idiot. He knew anything could happen at any time.
Wayne knew he needed help this time around. He figured he could count on Eddie here and there, but Eddie needed to focus on school this year if he planned on finally walking the stage. Because of this, Wayne decided to enlist the help of someone on the outside. Someone with experience.
So, he posted an ad in the Hawkins Post, looking for a full-time nanny for a five-year-old boy to start as soon as possible, and waited for a response.
𖤐 ֪ 𖤐 ֪ 𖤐
Wayne didn't have to wait long.
Two mornings following the job post, shortly after he'd returned home from work, he heard a knock on the trailer door.
When he answered, he saw a pretty young thing standing on the front stoop.
"Hi!" you greeted, then immediately began to ramble. "Are you Mr. Munson? I hope it's okay I just showed up... there wasn't a number listed, only an address, and I didn't know if you wanted me to write a response and mail it, but the ad seemed maybe a little urgent, so I thought, hey, what's the harm in just... showing... up..."
You trailed off, feeling silly for word vomiting during your first impression. He was watching you with a small smile, eyes flickering with what looked like amusement, especially as your cheeks began to color to the soft red of embarrassment.
Listing no number on the ad was intentional. He hadn't owned a rotary phone in about ten years, after having tried to cut back on bills, and he knew not just anyone would make the trek to Forest Hills for a potential job offer. He’d figured only committed applicants that wouldn't waste his time would follow through.
"I have a lot of experience," you continued on at his silence, almost as if you couldn't help it, compelled to divulge all the information you could in the first three minutes of meeting. Wayne found it endearing. "I used to babysit for three different families when I was in high school. And I have two little sisters. My mom and dad worked a lot growing up, so I spent a lot of time with them. Didn't get paid, but... I made sure they didn't die or anything..."
From their brief interaction thus far, Wayne knew he succeeded in his method of weeding out flakes. You were obviously serious about the position. He felt he was a decent judge of character, and he'd learned in life that sometimes over-explaining was synonymous with caring.
"Sorry," you said, forcing out a little laugh. "I guess I could have just introduced myself. You didn't really need to know all that." You shot your hand out, giving your name. "I'm here about the nannying gig. Um, obviously. That is, if I didn't already scare you off."
Wayne took your hand in both of his own, shaking it. He placated you with a grin. "It's a lot harder than that to scare off a Munson, sweetheart. Let's go inside and meet Olly."
𖤐 ֪ 𖤐 ֪ 𖤐
Although Oliver Munson was only five, he had a spectacular vocabulary and a limitless imagination. Wayne knew the boy was a little charmer, quite like how Eddie was when he allowed himself to be, when the teenager wasn't drowning himself in existential teenage angst and nonsense.
You fell under Olly's spell almost instantly.
And it seemed the little boy had fallen under yours as well.
Oliver didn't stop talking to you while you were there, and didn't stop talking about you after you’d left, asking when you’d be back and if next time you could take him to the trailer park's playground and maybe you two could watch G.I. Joe or He-Man together afterward.
Wayne had taken your number down before you’d left and had told you he'd be in touch soon.
Later that evening, after Eddie had gotten back from his club meeting at school, Wayne took the trip into downtown Hawkins to use the payphone and ask you if you wouldn't mind starting as early as tomorrow.
𖤐 ֪ 𖤐 ֪ 𖤐
You were far from struggling for money.
Your father was a sought-after criminal prosecutor for the entirety of Indiana. Your mother was a real estate agent for high profile clientele who came from old family money; her father was CEO of a day trading business, and his father before him had been the same.
Although you likely would have never had to work a day in your life and could live a comfortable existence off of inheritance alone, handouts and the humdrum of an All-Play-and-No-Work lifestyle was never a dream of yours. That sounded so cookie cutter, so monotonous, so boring.
You liked to feel a sense of accomplishment. You liked setting goals and reaching them. You didn't want to freeload off of money that was gained from the capitalistic professions your parents were a part of. You wanted to be in control of your own finances and be the author of your own future, not have it already be etched into stone simply by being just another rich kid from Hawkins, à la the likes of the Carver's or the Cunningham's or the Harrington's.
You were ecstatic when you got the call from Wayne, asking you if you’d be willing to start the following day. He left for work at 2PM, so you’d have to be there before then, and would need to plan on staying until Wayne's nephew got home around six.
If you were to be completely honest with yourself, you felt a bit nervous, but the job itself wasn't the reason why that writhing feeling accompanied your excitement.
You had more than ten years of babysitting experience under your belt, and you were eager to get back into a job you actually enjoyed as opposed to trying out different careers to see what stuck and what didn't. Having graduated the spring before, you’d been taking an off year to save up money by working odd jobs around Hawkins to be able to buy your own apartment.
You’d worked as a florist for a few weeks, but it turned out your thumb was pitch black instead of green.
You worked as the personal assistant for a group of lawyers from a local law firm, but it turned out they just needed office eye candy and not someone to actually get any sort of work done.
You worked as a veterinary assistant, but it turned out the job was much more than just petting cats and dogs. You couldn't handle it when a sick animal would come in and there would be nothing anyone could do. Your heart broke more at that clinic than it had your entire life.
You were in between jobs when you’d decided to peruse the classified section of the Hawkins post. There, in the shortest blurb on the page, was a listing for a needed nanny, a full-time position offering negotiable pay.
The next bit was where the excitement wavered.
The listing was published by a Wayne Munson of the Forest Hills trailer park.
That had to be Eddie Munson's uncle. There was no way there were two separate Munson families living in the only trailer park in Kerley County.
You couldn't believe that you’d stumbled across this ad, that the geeky metalhead you’d crushed on since your freshman year of high school had a little brother you could be the potential nanny of.
You were two years younger than Eddie, but that hadn't stopped you from losing periods of time to daydreams about the way the wind ruffled his wild mess of curls on breezy days or the way his band tee sleeves always clung perfectly to the soft muscles of his biceps or the way his cheeks dimpled when he teased the other boys he sat with at lunch.
You’d always wanted to introduce yourself, but you didn't run in the same crowds -- you being on the cheer team and Eddie blasting Black Sabbath in the parking lot after his Hellfire meetings. You could never muster the courage. He seemed so carefree, so full of life, so effortlessly funny. Chrissy Cunningham, your best friend, had spoken to him once or twice and had told you how different he was than what other people said about him. He wasn't scary or mean or threatening, and instead was warm and silly and genuine.
But you knew how the people you spent your time around treated people like him. You knew your group of "friends" referred to him as a freak, a Satan worshipper, and did everything in their power to try to bully him into becoming a shell of himself. Thankfully, he never did -- it was almost as if Eddie absorbed the hatefulness and spent it tenfold by mocking the hilarity of the jock hierarchy that ruled the school, as well as using it to strengthen his own ability to embrace every misfit that walked the halls of Hawkins High.
You never introduced yourself because you were afraid he’d think you had an ulterior motive, that you’d be trying to talk to him as a joke or a prank. You knew the company you kept. You were sure Jason Carver had once or twice suggested you do just that, lead Eddie on and make a fool of him in front of the whole school.
You figured it'd be best to just stay away.
But now, you thought finding this ad was possibly a sign from the universe.
Maybe you were getting a second chance.
𖤐 ֪ 𖤐 ֪ 𖤐
Eddie was running late.
He was supposed to be back home half an hour ago to relieve whoever Olly's new babysitter was of her duties, but the campaign had taken a shocking turn and Hellfire couldn't disband until it had commenced.
The night finally ended with Will's character decapitating Dustin's, and Eddie had to thwart an actual attack when Dustin leapt across the game table at Will in a bout of rage. Dustin was small but mighty, and Eddie had to physically wrestle the boy off of Will's neck, threatening to banish Dustin from the next few campaigns if he didn’t chill out. Henderson had huffed and puffed but had admitted defeat and apologized to Will for the attempted murder.
By the time Eddie arrived back to the trailer park, the sun had almost set. He pulled his van into his parking spot to the right of the trailer and shut it off. Stepping out, he swung his backpack over his shoulder, but came to a halt when he heard Olly's scream sound from behind the trailer.
Dropping his bag and beginning to run toward the noise, Eddie's heart fell to his stomach. Horrible images of what could possibly be pulling that sound from his little brother pervaded Eddie's mind. He had an overactive imagination to begin with, and something like this verbal cue only egged it on. "Olly!" he shouted, panic raising his voice. "Olly, are you okay?! What’s going on, where are --"
Eddie came to a halt when he found the boy in the backyard with a huge smile spread across his small, sweaty face. Olly had a fake crown on, one made of twigs and leaves, and he was carrying one of the biggest sticks Eddie had ever seen. He had a blanket tucked into the back of his shirt, the cloth a makeshift cape. A thin piece of metal, probably from one of the cars Wayne and Eddie sometimes worked on, was wrapped around his center, acting as armor.
Olly had just been playing.
Letting out a heavy breath of relief, Eddie noticed your frame just off to the side. His eyes started from the ground up, noting the shiny red Docs donning your feet, moving up bare legs that were covered mid-thigh by a short black skater dress, one that hugged your curves in a way that had Eddie’s mouth going dry.
By the time he reached your face, your eyes were wide with amusement.
You’d been watching as he slowly drank you in. He didn't mean to ogle. He had to shake his head a few times to clear it, and when he did so, the face before him started looking more and more familiar.
"Wait," he started, head tilting. He spoke your name, tone riddled with confusion. "From high school?"
You were about to answer when Oliver cleared his throat, obviously not wanting to be ignored or to have his playtime interrupted any longer. You looked down at the boy, who pointed up to his head at his crown. You got the gist -- Olly wanted the game to continue. You could indulge him. You’d been doing it all day, and honestly you’d been having the most fun you’d had in a while.
You turned your attention back to Eddie, fixing your posture and jutting your chin out slightly. "I don't know who that is," you began, voice lilting. "I am Princess Guinevere of Kerley County and this here,” you brought your gaze back down to Oliver, “is my most loyal servant, Sir Olly of Castle Munson."
Eddie couldn't help the grin that broke out over his face at your announcement. He then took a moment to fully take in the rest of your appearance. You, too, had on a makeshift crown, this one made up of cherry blossoms and daisies. You had a flowing blanket tucked into the back of your dress, cascading down your back like a veil.
No fucking way were you, last year's cheerleading captain and prom queen, standing in his backyard playing fucking knights and princesses with his little brother. No fucking way.
Olly broke the silence by shouting out, "Hey, Eddie! Who are you gonna be?"
Eddie tore his eyes from you to focus on his brother. He pursed his lips to one side in thought, trying to come up with a character. He was usually quick on his feet when it came to creative play, but he had just spent the last three hours DM'ing a month-long DnD campaign. His brain felt shot. He was pulled from his introspective reverie by your soft, suggestive voice — no, sorry — the soft, suggestive voice of Princess Guinevere.
"Wanna be my dragon, Eddie?" you asked.
Eddie wasn't exactly sure why that made his breath catch in his throat.
He nodded dumbly, silent, then forced himself to speak because he didn't want to look totally lame in front of a Princess. "Okay. Yeah, I'll be your dragon."
You graced him with a smile before Oliver's tiny but booming voice cut through the air of the darkening night. "HEY! Dragons don't talk!" the boy stomped his foot and hit his stick against the muddy ground in annoyance.
A laugh bubbled from your throat and Eddie grinned, jumping into a wide-legged stance before outstretching his arms, tilting his head back, and roaring.

Requests from @hyunjinoak: Can I request Neteyam x female reader story, in which the reader got hurt badly during a mission/war and her baby daughter/son keeps crying so bad for her(his) mom?
TW: violence, blood
With all the strength in his body, Neteyam shoves his younger brother to the ground, and raises his fist, intent on bringing it down square on Lo'ak's face. He hopes he will break his nose, or an eye socket, or maybe even his jaw.
Before his fist can crack bone, someone grabs his arm and wrenches him away.
He hears his father's voice. "Hey, whoa," he's saying, loudly trying to calm his son.
"It's his fault! It's his fault she was shot," Neteyam screams. "She went down there to protect him!"
Jake grabs his son's shoulders, spinning him so that they are face to face. He sees the anguish in his son's eyes, but even so, he can't let him hurt his brother.
Neteyam might be angry, but Jake knows he would regret it soon enough, if he hurt Lo'ak.
"Your son needs you now, Neteyam. He's crying for his mother, he doesn't know what happened. You need to go take care of him." He looks over his eldest son's shoulder, to see Lo'ak standing up, looking hurt and defeated. "I'll deal with your brother."
At the thought of his son, Neteyam stands up straighter. Without another word, he charges home.
--
It's the longest night of Neteyam's life. He stands outside of Tsahik's tent, listening to his wife's moans and cries, while holding his discontented infant in his arms.
The baby only wants Y/N. It's as if the little one senses that something is wrong, that his mother is hurt, and nothing he can do will calm the boy down.
Eventually, when things begin to calm down, Kiri emerges. Neteyam is near tears, the baby is screaming, and everyone is tired.
"Is she okay?" Neteyam asks.
Kiri nods. "She is. You go in. Give my nephew to me." She extends her arms and almost instantly, the baby settles in his aunt's embrace. Neteaym frowns, but Kiri shakes her head. "It's because I am calm, and he could feel your worry. Just go."
Confident that his son is safe with Aunt Kiri, he rushes into the tent, eager to finally reunite with his mate.
--
It happened in slow motion. Lo'ak took to the ground, wanting to claim a weapon for himself, and I followed, scared something would happen to him.
The ships were inbound quicker than I'd thought, and no sooner had Jake put out the warning, than the bullet had ripped through my side, tearing a searing hole in my flesh.
"Y/N!" Lo'ak screamed, tossing aside the gun he'd just picked up, and the world faded to black.
I had spent the next 12 hours in and out of consciousness, waking up to unbelievable pain, and then falling back asleep again. It felt like an endless cycle... until it did end.
My eyes open, with much difficulty, and the pain is subsided. It's still there, and it's still the worst pain in my life, but it is no longer a searing, hot open wound. I feel the sting of healing, and the numbness of whatever salve Tsahik and Kiri have come up with to place on the wound.
"Neteyam," I whisper. "Ninan..."
Kiri hovers to my right, and pats my shoulder. "I will bring Neteyam. Hopefully, Ninan is sleeping peacefully."
She exits the tent, and only moments later, Neteyam enters.
The sight of him sends me to tears, and though the sobs hurt my sore body, I cannot stop them. The wound at my side isn't all that hurts - I am covered in bruises and cuts from falling off the ship when I was shot, and I am tired, my throat is dry, and I just want to see my family.
Neteyam drops to his knees by my side, and I see the tears in my eyes reflected in his.
I reach my hand up, cupping his cheek, and he covers his hand with mine, leaning his cheek into my palm.
"I thought you were going to die, Y/N," he says in a low, breathy voice. "I thought you were dead, when I saw you lying there."
Shaking my head, I try to muster a smile. "I would not leave you, or Ninan. You know this."
"I'll kill Lo'ak for risking your life."
"No, Neteyam. Lo'ak isn't to blame. I followed him on my own. He was just... being Lo'ak. He didn't think."
"His carelessness almost got you killed! Almost took Ninan's mother from him."
I wince at the harshness of his tone. "We'll speak of this later. Is Ninan sleeping?"
Neteyam nods. "In Kiri's arms. You should sleep now."
He lays down next to me on his side, pressing his forehead to my temple.
"You will bring me my son at first light," I whisper, but my eyelids are already drooping, and Neteyam is pulling a fur over us. I feel warm, and the pain begins to subside as sleep starts to overtake me. As always, I feel safe with Neteyam close to me; I know with him here, I will heal faster.
In the morning, I will hold my son, and Neteyam will forgive his brother - because that's what family does.

Imagine being Helaena Targaryen (show version)
You are raised mostly by governesses and maids and sometimes your mother comes spent time with you and sits by your side. You don't get her, she stresses you and her presence makes you feel uncomfortable. It's not her fault that you feel like that, but she always has that energy around her that makes you feel on edge. So you back away when she tries to touch you, afraid she may pass that energy on to you.
You like bugs and insects, your mother says it's not proper so she forces you to leave them behind and focus on prayer and sewing. You hate it.
You have three brothers, but you aren't particularly close to them. Your older brother is bad, he too makes you uncomfortable, but he doesn't like you either so you stay away from each other. Your younger brother is obsessed with dragons, so much so that he tries to bond with your own dragon and take her from you. You know his obsession will only bring bad things. Your youngest brother is away, he has been away forever, by now you only know his name. You have an elder sister, she is the heir, you are happy for her, but you never talk her. The one time you tried your mother yelled at you, it hurt your ears, your head. So you don't try anymore, but sometimes she smiles at you.
You have two nephews, Rhaenyra's sons, they are just a little bit younger than you and they are kind. Your older brother often plays with them and uses them as weapons against your younger brother. It won't end well, Aemond is not the forgiving type nor the reflective type.
Your mother is mean, she is in pain so she wants everyone to be in pain too, it makes you sad. Your sister leaves the Red Keep and it somehow becomes a colder place.
Your aunt dies away in Essos so you and your family go to Driftmark for the funeral. The uncle you don't remember laughs at the eulogy for his wife. It wasn't really for his wife, it was for your nephews and your sister. You know high valyrian, you learned some from the maesters and most from your father. Your brothers aren't very good at it so they don't catch it.
When night falls everything changes. As you predicted, the obsession your brother had with dragons leads to nowhere good. He went to claim the dragon of your dead aunt without permission, he got into a fight with your nephews and cousins, his eye is gone.
He called your nephews bastards and even without an eye he laughs at the memory. You know that the word is bad and that your mother keeps saying it over and over again. You don't understand, Ser Laenor says they are his sons, so why does she insist they aren't? It's stupid and you want to say how stupid it is, but you won't because your mother will yell at you of slap you as she does Aegon. Your older brother says everyone can see it, but it's not true because you can't. It stresses you.
Your mother grabbs a dagger and charges to kill your nephew, everyone screams and you cover your ears. It feels as if they are bleeding. Rhaenyra stops your mother and ultimately nothing happens.
Your grandfather is Hand again. It's bad, you can tell by Lord Beesbury's face. And you know is bad, because he wants you to marry Aegon. Your father falls ill, he barely moves from the bed. There are whispers that say your uncle may kill your grandfather if he returns to the Keep. You pray for him to do so, but he doesn't.
Rhaenyra marries your uncle far away in Dragonstone and you are happy for them, you want to write to them and congratulate them. Your mother yells at you when she sees your letter and burns it. You want to scratch her eyes, but you don't because she will yell and hit you.
When you first bleed your mother marries you to your older brother. You are thirteen and in that same year you fall pregnant with twins. You want to write to Rhaenyra and ask her what to do. You ask your mother and she only says things about duty and sacrifice. You think you are dutiful enough and that you have sacrificed enough. Your mother doesn't, your grandfather doesn't.
You have two children and you love them, but you can handle them. They are too loud, so loud. But you love them, or so you think. Because if you don't you should throw yourself out off the window. Why don't you?
Your sister returns to the Keep with her children and husband. Your mother yells, she hates them. She yells so much you are surprised you can still hear anything. It doesn't hurt any less than it did before. Your uncle kills a man in the throne room, you cover your ears because the noise is unbearable. But it's not worse than anything else you have gone through.
There is a last dinner, your father is coherent and your mother makes an odd toast. Aemond mades a stupid one and it ends up in a fight that ruins the good day. The night ends like that, but at least you danced with someone kind. You wish you would be married to him instead.
In the following days your father dies, your mother commits treason and you do nothing. You think about going to Rhaenyra, to tell her, but it feels useless and your mother never allows you to go anywhere alone, it's been ages since you last visited Dreamfyre. There is a dragon in front of you, but it doesn't burn you, any of you. Disappointing.
Is there any reason you still live?

Loving the complexity of Madeline Ushers character: a woman who declares she doesn’t want to be limited by men, who’s life is defined at every turn by the decisions and actions of her brother.
……
Madeline Usher is doomed by her attachment to her brother, and it is the root of all her eventual pain.
When Verna offers them the deal, it’s Roderick who ‘charges forward, straight at it’ and accepts the terms despite the fact that the only ‘next generation’ they current have are his kids. Madeline agrees afterwards but only once Rodrick makes it know he is already in. I don’t think she’d have gone for it if he had objected, she’s always had a very ‘both of us or neither’ kind of attitude.
And then she is as much these kids parent (from what we have seen) as Roderick is. Granted we see next to nothing of the kids biological mothers so we have to assume they weren’t very involved (either by their choice or other circumstance) with their kids after Rodrick got his claws into them.
That first scene when we meet Perry Madeline and Roderick are equally dismissive of him, but she is the one asking questions and prompts: you’ve had a year to come up with an idea, is this it or is there more? How are you going to make this successful? Why will your pitch be different? She even asks Roderick to jump in ‘anytime now’ to help her handle this train wreck. And Rodrick has just received the news he’s dying but I think it’s telling that Perry is looking at both of them for validation, for support. They are equally intimidating but equally supporting him.
With Camille we don’t get 1-2-1 interactions between her and her father (despite her own obsession with winning his approval) but we do get a scene with Madeline. After Perry’s death Camille lobbies to be given the power to lead the family’s PR response, and Madeline takes her seriously and asks what she would do. When Camille lays out her plan it’s Madeline who gives a proud nod of approval and okays her actions.
Leo unfortunately gets no parental interactions from either senior Usher. Victorine only gets it right at the end just before her monstrous actions are revealed. Otherwise all she gets from Roderick is pressure and the interactions of an investor, not a father.
Tammy gets the most parental interaction from Madeline, which is tragic as she’s trying to show her father that she can be the heir to his empire. But her aunt is the one who shows up to her presentation, who gives her the pep talk, consoles Tammy (in her own way) about the failure of her marriage, who believes Tammy when she is terrified by someone in the crowd.
Frederik is always focused on his father so Madeline doesn’t get many moments with him, but again Roderick is more of a CEO or boss than a father: focused on how to protect the company, how to secure the future. Little to no concern or support to his son as he mourns his wife’s injuries, as he deals with his siblings deaths, as he takes on more pressure from the world and the family. Roderick only mourns his son (as opposed to his heir) after Fredrick is dead.
Added to this: the security on all the kids? Madeline arranges it. When more kids die? We see Madeline demand it be doubled. She’s the only one still fighting for them, fighting fate itself.
With Lenore we see more interactions with her and Roderick but her interactions with Madeline are just as sweet and show a close, loving relationship. Lenore even calls her Granny Madeline. And Madeline is the one planning to preserve Lenore via AI: this must have been the main reason she begged Roderick to kill himself. Not to save her to but to spare Lenore. What’s the bet that she started working on the AI project in earnest when Morelle announced she was pregnant?
Madeline tracks down the supernatural entity they made a deal with and tries to negotiate a new deal: again (now we know the original terms) this is likely for Lenore’s benefit, not hers. She faces down a power far beyond herself and tries to save or protect what’s left of her family. Not Roderick.
Madeline took steps to preserve and protect her nieces and nephews, and grand niece while her brother did next to nothing. Once you know the nature of their deal with Verna, Roderick’s attitude to his remaining children after they remember who Verna is is just baffling.
Madeline even makes reference to birth control that she took on the off chance the deal was real. She says to Tammy that she didn’t want children with her first husband and hasn’t since, but she has been a mother to Rodericks kids. This lack of biological motherhood hasn’t spared her for the heartbreak of loosing a child. Or a grandchild.
And it’s even the decision of a man (again her brother) which is going to end her family’s legacy in another way. His marriage to Juno, his treatment of her, his denial of her fight to get clean and his horrible reference to himself as Victor Frankenstein and Juno as his monster - this is what pushes her to sign away the company when she inherits it. Madeline speaks about the board choosing her and moving the company away from pharmaceuticals, into the fields of AI and tech. Sure Madeline then died but a lot of the groundwork was likely there, and it could have been a possible path for the company. If Juno didn’t inherit it all and break it apart. Because of Roderick, and the way he treated her. Once again Madeleine’s legacy is destroyed by her brothers actions.
The irony of 1970’s Madeline declaring she doesn’t want to be limited by men’s choices or by a man, taking steps to protect her self and her heart, focussing her work on things outside of medical drugs in the hope that one day that can be what they become known for… then being doomed to more heartbreak and failure by every one of her brothers careless actions is so sadly tragic.

The only daughter of her mother Rhaenyra, the apple of the eye of the house Velaryon , the realms beauty , the pure , perfect , loved by all and more these were the adjectives that defines y/n Velaryon.
For Aegon, she was his sun. With Her warm smile and her gentle behavior that warms his heart, his hope light.
He shouldn't have loved someone as ugly as himself and a pure beauty like you, but his greed was getting in the way. He liked the way you warn them when he and your brothers when bully Aemond because that was the only way he could talk to you. He was jealous of the attention you gave your siblings,Aemond and Helaena. He just wanted you to look at him, talk to him, dedicate yourself to him.
Then something happened that he couldn't believe. The gods he doesn't believe in must have taken pity on him because his father, Visersy, proposed a marriage proposal between you and him to prevent tensions between blacks and greens. Aegon agreed without hesitation, and you accepted for your family. He confessed to you on your wedding night.
-
“I love you”
He looked at you to see your reaction. He saw your gentle smile warm eyes. Then you spoke
“Me too. I love you “
-
Your marriage wasn't so bad after all. Although you didn't see your family very often, you were not alone and your beloved husband, Aegon, would not have left you alone for a moment. Although Aegon was the happiest in marriage, Alicent was as happy with it as her son. You took such good care of her son. Her son had changed his drinking habits a little bit, he wasn't drinking as much as he used to, he was cleaner thanks to your efforts. He hasn't been interested in prostitutes at all since you got married.
Aegon was happy. Everything was going perfectly. He loved you, you loved him, and you were pregnant. Sometimes Aegon thought he was dreaming of a perfect life that couldn't be real...
-
Then you got the news that ended your perfect life.
“Lucersy Velaryon is dead. At Storm's End-"
When you heard the news, your head started to spin. ‘Is my brother Lucersy dead? No it can't be' then your eyes went black and you passed out.
-
Nothing has been the same since that damn night. You were unhappy. You didn't want to do your daily activities such as eating or walking. The only thing keeping you alive was the child in your womb. This did not go unnoticed by Aegon.
-
You were getting ready for bed. You were combing your hair in front of the mirror. Then you saw a familiar silhouette behind you and your husband hugged you from behind.
"What's the problem?" ' Aegon asked, his voice a little twisted.
"What are you trying to say" you didn't look at him.
“Then why are you in this situation!”
Aegon turned your face to him. He saw your eyes, those eyes that were once filled with happiness were now filled with sorrow.
“I love you, you know that… do you love me?” ' asked Aegon.
“I love you, but my love for you is not strong enough to cover my brother's death, this war, this grief.”
Aegon hugged you. This is how the night ended.
-
Aegon thought it couldn't get any worse, but after the miscarriage, you seemed completely dead. Just thinking about that moment was enough to have a nightmare. You screamed desperately in tears on the bloody sheets on the bed… Aegon felt awful. His sun, his only lover, was fading . Your eyes had lost the light of life, you weren’t eating or drinking. And he couldn't do anything as your husband.
One night Aegon did something he shouldn't have done, drank more than usual and said things he shouldn't have said while drunk.
-
“I'm sick of this mourning! You are my wife! Take care of your husband! After all that hard work for you, this is the reward! I wish you were dead so you wouldn't bother me so much"
“…”
When Aegon looked at you, he instantly regretted his words.
"I am sorry. My tongue slipped. I love you I'm just a little tired so-"
He desperately hugged and kissed you.
"You love me don't you?"
“…”
This time you didn't answer, only your silence spoke. The night passed as quiet as the pre-death silence, save for Aegon's sobs and tears.
In the morning the whole court was awakened by Aegon's screams . When Queen Alicent entered the room, she found her son hugging tightly his wife with bloody hands. Aegon's only wife had committed suicide.
-
“Please open your eyes Y/n! I didn't mean it like that. I was drunk. Please do not leave me!"
Alicent was heartbroken at the sight of her son's desperate begs over his wife's body.
“Aegon she is dead” Alicent held out her hand to his son but Aegon slapped it harshly.
"No!" He said, hugging his dead wife's body tighter.
“Get out! Get out, I don't want anyone! Get out!”

No funeral was held Aegon was adamant not to give his lover's body. For the first two days, Aegon did not leave his chamber and did not let anyone into . On the third day, he was allowed to enter the chamber and was smiling. Alicent was horrified to see her son in this state.
“Aegon you-this-” she pointed to the dead woman.
“Oh mom it's okay my wife is just a little tired. She needs a rest.”
“Rest?! Aegon, this girl is dead!”
Aegon's smile dropped. He approached his mother.
“I think you misunderstood . She just needs a rest. Do you understand mom. Now cancel the funeral preparations, they are really getting on my nerves"

Married for Love

Aegon II Targaryen x Reader
Summary: Alicient had enough of Aegon, so she sent him to a different kingdom, she hoped he would learn there. But Aegon found more than just a new home.
When you heard that a prince will be housed by your father, you didn't know what to think of it at first.
But then, Aegon joined your home.
---
Many months have passed, almost a year when the news arrived, House Targaryen will visit the son they sent away.
Aegon was not thrilled, to say the least.
He knew this could mean a couple of things, either his father was dead or dying.
He let out a long sigh but you placed a kiss on his skin as you hugged him, hoping it would calm him.
---
"Mother, Father, Brother and Sister, I would like to welcome you all." Aegon stood in front of his family, all four of them eyeing him up and down, Aegon looked really really good. Healthy, strong, a lot more muscular than the last time any of them saw him.
Aegon went ahead to greet his family before everyone else in the palace. He wanted them to see how well he was, laugh into their faces that he was doing so much better.
His mother came over to give him a kiss and a hug.
"I'll guide you to the King." he said as he turned to do so, but then you caught his eyes, "Actually before I do so, I would like for you all to meet my lovely wife, Y/N, daughter of King Y/L/N." he held his hand out and everyone's gaze fell on you.
You wore a beautiful gown, the colour matched your skin tone perfectly, a simple ring on your finger, matching Aegon's and you had a smile on.
"Your Grace, it is really nice to finally meet the family of my dear husband." with one last smile, you walked beside Aegon into the castle, guiding your guests to the throne room.
Everyone at the back was confused.
Aegon was married? Since when? And to a Princess? Why didn't they know about this?
But no one dared to question, the connection between the two Houses had to be strong, questioning you would definitely not sit well with your father.
All of you came to a stop before two huge doors, a knight came over to you and whispered something before returning to his position.
"Looks like my mother's taking a little while to get ready. In a couple minutes and they will let us all in." you said as you turned towards the family, again, a kind smile on your face before you turned back.
You could feel their eyes burning holes into your back.
Aegon took a slight step, putting his hand on your waist, and pulling you close as you placed one of your arms around him. You placed your head on his shoulder.
You knew, he needed you to calm him without words, and that is what you did. Just being there for him was enough.
His family could only watch in shock. They watched as your arm moved from his back and onto his shoulder as you stepped closer, you ran your fingers through his hair before you placed a kiss on his cheek. Leaving a slight pink tint behind before getting it with your fingers.
Everyone knew that the couple in front of them was in love. These touches were not planned or faked.
You then turned in your husband's arm and smiled at them.
"Hope you had a great journey." Silence. Complete silence, but your smile never faded.
"It was okay, thank you. May I ask, what kind of bugs do you have around here?" Aegon's sister spoke up.
"Oh, I don't like them too much, I do have animals, however."
"Animals?"
"A couple." this made Aegon chuckle and you hit his arm. "A lot yes, deer, rabbits, foxes, cats, dogs, wolves, birds. We are close to the big forest, they come by all the time."
"You feed them." Aegon spoke up as he shifted from one leg to another but never turning to face his family, only looking at you or the door in front of him.
"I do, but where are animals, there are insects, you should check the forest, there are many in there."
"Wolves?" she asked, shocked. "Wouldn't they eat the bunnies?"
"They would, but I forbid them. They listen because I feed them. I'll show you later in the garden if you wish, Princess."
"We are going." said Aegon as the door started to open just when Aegon's father wanted to speak.
All of you walked in, you and Aegon joined your father on his throne, you sat down in your chair beside your mother while Aegon stood beside you.
"King Vicerys and his family! My old friend, thank you for visiting us." your father greeted them.
"Old friend, it was news for me to find out that my son married your daughter." right into the middle, Aegon's father was surely not playing around.
"Oh, yes. Married them myself, my only daughter, I was happy she found such a boy for herself. When you sent Aegon over to my Kingdom, we never expected such happiness to grace us! Truly thrilled to have him here." then the conversation moved to more basic topics. Aegon moved to kneel next to you as he asked you about your dress or something, you couldn't quite understand.
"Sorry, what?" you asked as he came to eye level with you.
"I said, you looked breathtaking in this dress."
"Well, thank you. I doubt my dress is as breathtaking as the news of our marriage to your family."
"Like I care. I bet they expected to find me either in a ditch drunk or in a whorehouse... Not like I know where it is!" his eyes widened as he looked at you.
"Sure..." you pouted before moving a little in your seat. You knew about his past, of course you did, you were first to know why the prince was there and your mother really had no filter.
But soon, everyone grew to love Aegon, especially you.
"Anyway, do you know for how long they are here?" he asked.
"Mother said about a week. She said they probably wanted to take you back to Red Keep."
"But this is my home, and if I go, you would have to come with me. I am not going to bring you into a life of misery because of my family."
"They can't be that bad." you said and Aegon just looked at you. "Okay, maybe, but I love you and if they want you back in King's Landing, I'll go with you." Aegon made a face before he looked at his family, noticing how his brother was staring at the two of you. He then looked back at you.
"My happiness is with you, you know that but King's Landing is very different from here, you won't like it there. No forests. No animals."
"I'd choose you over every animal or forest."
Aegon then stood up once again, this conversation might not be over but for now, it was.
Lunch went rather well, your mother was talking with the Queen all along, your mother was a very wise woman, you only wished to be half as great as she was. She knew that the moment she let's the Queen out of her sight, she might go to Aegon.
You and Aegon ate in silence, occasionally exchanging looks or smiles.
As you promised to Helaena, you showed her the gardens, Aemond also followed as the four of you walked around.
"So, you feed all of them yourself?"
"I try to check daily as my duties allow me."
"Or she sends me." Aegon spoke up, for the first time looking at his sister.
"Because you can lift the water bucket. We used to have traps when I was young, but when I was young I saw a deer caught, I cried so much my mother made my father take all the traps away. And so, we feed them now." you smiled at her and Aemond.
"Did you name them?" asked the Princess.
"Some, yes."
"She named a deer after me. When I arrived, she said the deer reminded her of me as it was just as thin." Aegon smiled at the memory.
"Yes, but now, both of them are healthy." you said as you looked at the rose bush, noting a small red bug on it, it was one you actually liked. "Here." you let the bug crawl onto your hand before you turned to Helaena. "We call it Ladybug. It is said the dots on its back tells you how old they are." you watched her for a second before you turned your attention to Aemond. "I assume Prince Aemond is not so fond of flowers or animals, we do have training grounds, although I'm afraid I'm not the expert to show you around, it would be my husband." Aemond bowed his head a little as a small form of thank you as he did not finding any words.
Aemond was clearly taken aback, Aegon noticed but said nothing, smiling at his brother before looking back at you.
Aemond for sure thought Aegon would be a mess, much like how he was before his entire life, but instead, they found him, married, happy and strong.
Aemond was jealous.
So jealous.
Aegon had an amazing wife, a caring soul who was not only beautiful but smart and caring. And Aemond wanted the same.
Your tour soon came to an end as you all decided to rest up a bit before dinner.
"Your brother is jealous." you said as Aegon took his jacket off.
"I noticed. He looked at you like a lost duckling."
"But your sister's nice."
"Wait until she places a spider onto your shoulder." a shiver ran down your spine.
"Do you really think they want to bring you back?"
He nodded. Well, you weren't blind, his father was not in the best health.
"I never really thought this was a question of IF Aegon. Rather a WHEN. You are the heir right? Not your half-sister but you, so, they would want you back, especially now that you not only survived here but thrived. I have been getting ready for it since the moment we kissed for the first time." you both smiled at the memory.
"My parents didn't like that we are married. I could tell."
"Like I care. We are married, and I'm not leaving you." Although both of you knew there would be ways for his family to try and separate you, you two also knew that no matter what, you two will find your way back to one another.

❝ And who will give me courage? ❞
❝ So this is what death sounds like. ❞
❝ I would offer you my sword, but I seem to have mislaid it. ❞
❝ It is not your sword I want, ser. ❞
❝ He . . . he killed them . . . ❞
❝ If they hadn’t tried to stop him — ❞
❝ Your men did what they were sworn to do. ❞
❝ Grieve for them. Honor them for their valor. But not now. You have no time for grief. ❞
❝ Your grief is mine. ❞
❝ I swear it, you will have your vengeance. ❞
❝ Will that bring him back to me? ❞
❝ I prayed to know what to do, but the gods did not answer. ❞
❝ I shared his bed and bore his children. Do you think I love him any less than you? ❞
❝ I will mourn for him until the end of my days, but I must think of the living. ❞
❝ I want you to live your life, to kiss a girl and wed a woman and father a son. ❞
❝ I want to write an end to this. I want to go home. ❞
❝ Why shouldn’t we rule ourselves again? ❞
❝ It was the dragons we married, and the dragons are all dead! ❞
❝ There sits the only king I mean to bow my knee to. ❞

Requests open?!! 😃
How about Daemon reacting to reader lover/wife/etc flirting with guys and girls in front of him on purpose 😈
Hey anon! My first ever request! Hope you like it! I added a few extra details to make it more smutty and well, more Targaryen lol
"Give me your babe."
Daemon watched, eyes glaring as he stared at his sister wife who was dancing with some Lord from some where.
Daemon and her had had a fight last night, about the one thing they always fought on. She wanted a babe. And Daemon didn't want to risk losing her.
He had been there. Watched as life slowly left his bold and fierce mother, the Princess Alyssa, day by day after the birth of his sister. He had watched his grandmother howl and scream in the night, mourning her dead babes. He watches every year or so, as his cousin Aemma is killed little by little with every dead babe she brings forth and no son.
Can't she see? How desperately he wishes to spare her of such a fate?
What would he do if she was gone?
But his wife, stubborn as she was, refused to listen.
He had been on top of her, inside her when she locked her legs around him and refused to let him pull out early. The hot and tightness of her cunt was too alluring and Daemon hadn't been able to successfully separate himself from her before he was shooting all of his seed deep into her.
He had stared at her, eyes wide and breathless as she giggled. "How long do you think you can stay away from me, brother? How long before you're back here, inside me, railing me to our bed? I promise, I will have your seed in me soon enough."
He had raged at her, tried to shake some sense into her but she had refused to listen.
She had wanted a babe. And there was no stopping her. He had always given in to her demands before. He had spoiled her, he knew.
So he had taken to ignoring her. Refusing to fuck his beautiful little sister wife unless she promised to behave. It had only been a day and he was already going crazy.
She had only shown him her tongue before walking away, promising she'd have his cock back in her cunt by that very night.
And so far, she was doing a fantastic job riling him up. She had dressed all pretty, in a long black dress with sleeves designed to look like dragon scales and a back that was open for all to see. He imagined tearing down her dress and fucking her from behind, seeing way more than just her back.
Her hair was left open and he imagined pulling her by her hair whilst fucking and holding her in place as she ran her tongue down his cock.
He imagined giving a few smacks on her arse as she rightfully deserved for forcing his hand like this.
He was distracted the whole feast, unable to forget his raging hard on as he drank in the sight of her.
She turned to look at him once the dance was over, a smirk identical to his, as she laughed at whatever it was that the Lord had spoken.
It was a fake laugh and Daemon smirked, there was nobody who could've hoped to have had his wife's interest the way he had. But they could try, he mused.
He hoped for her sake she would put a stop to this charade though. Before he lost his cool. But alas, his sister was proving herself to be very foolish.
He watched, hands clenched into a fist as the Lord placed a kiss on her hand and she smiled. Did this sod have a death wish?!
He got up abruptly, the eyes of everyone as always on him, and made his way over to his wife.
He put his hand on the Lord's shoulder, a huge smile on his face as he greeted him. His grip tightened and his smile widened as he noticed how nervous the Lord became, moving away from his wife.
His. His. His.
"Lord, may I have my sister back? I haven't had the pleasure of her company all evening." He reminded the man and watched as he squirmed at the remainder that his wife was also his sister. Their queer customs never failed to make these Andal Lords uncomfortable. And he loved making them feel uncomfortable.
"Sure my prince." He stuttered before moving away.
Daemon watched him run, his tail tucked between his legs. He stared at everyone in the room, daring them to come between his wife and himself.
He turned to finally face her. His beautiful sister. A sinister smirk on his face which she replied with a soft, sweet smile on her face. "Brother." She whispered.
He pulled her into a dance, running his hands down her body. She stared up at him. For them, no one else existed in the great hall.
""I've missed you, brother." She confessed, looking him in the eye.
"It's barely been one whole day." He told her.
"So? Usually you would have filled me with your cock atleast twice by now, before the day was out." She told him in Valyrian, shameless with her words. Her eyes showed her desire for him. He knew his eyes held the same look.
"Usually, you'd be much more well behaved."
"I want your babe brother. A beautiful, pure Valyrian babe who may one day rule all of the seven kingdoms." She told him.
"Birthing is no easy task." He warned her, a pleading look came over him.
"I'm a dragon and a woman brother. I was born with the strength of a dragon and my body was made to bear children. Your children. I won't let you deprive me of my destiny." She told him, sounding more like him than ever before. So sure and so full of life.
Daemon smiled. "Children? How many do you plan to give me?"
She smiled, a soft laugh breaking their tension. Yes, their fight was over. He had lost before he could even begin to fight.
"A dozen. At the very least."
She grabbed his hands and began to pull him out of the hall and towards their chambers. "And me thinks the earlier we start, the better."
He laughed before pushing her against a wall in a dark corridor. He caged her inbetween his arms, their noses touching as her breathing got heavier. "The chambers are too far away. I say, let's make a babe right here." He whispered in her ears.
She stared up at him, eyes so full of lust and hope, Daemon felt his breeches tighten further. He turned her around, pushing her against the wall before his hands went under her dress. He let his fingers travel under her gown, tracing her legs up until he reached her cunt, which was wet and throbbing. "Hmm, no undergarments, my filthy whore!" He accused her. The vile words only making her more aroused.
"All yours brother." Her breathing hitched, a loud moan escaping her throat.
He rubbed at her wetness, brushing his fingers against her pearl and laughing as she squirmed and shook in his arms. Her head thrown back into his shoulders as she moaned.
He gathered her wetness before poking at her entrance. Sliding one finger in and pulling out slowly. Repeating this gesture a few more times and slowly adding more fingers until he had three stuffed inside of her.
He pulled them in and out of her furiously and the wet noises reverberated in the empty corridors. Daemon was sure anyone walking by would be able to guess what they were doing. He couldn't wait to hear the noises they made when it was his cock inside of her.
It wasn't long before she was tensing up, her cunt tightening around his fingers as she came.
"Fucccckkkk" she whined.
He pulled his hand out of her cunt, pulling at his breeches and freed his cock. It was aching painfully. He used her wetness to stroke his cock slowly before once again grabbing her dress, pulling it up so he had free access to her cunt.
He lined up, rubbing his cock at her little pearl and watched as she shook lightly.
He chuckled. "So eager, dear sister."
"I am! I want your seed. I want your babe! I want your cock! Please brother, give it to me please." She whined, moving her ass backward, trying to push his cock into her cunt.
He laughed harder, "patience.." he whispered before suddenly, without warning, he rammed his entire length inside her.
She screamed, Daemon bringing his hand to her mouth to prevent her from screaming too loud as she came all over his cock, her cunt tightening so much Daemon hissed, unable to pull his cock back out.
"Shhh...sister. Do you wish to alert everyone else to our sinful behaviour?"
She didn't reply, too lost in her pleasure. Her whole body shook as wave after wave of pleasure passed over her.
Daemon stayed inside her as she calmed down before slowly pulling out. Then back in. And out. And in again. And out. In. Out. In. Out. Until he was thrusting balls deep inside her in quick, rough thrusts that made her breasts shake, even within the tight confines of her dress.
"Ah! Fuck me. Fuck me. Fuck me! Give it to me love. Harder, harder please harder." She whimpered, pulling him closer by turning her face and kissing him full on the mouth.
Daemon had to hold her tightly to the wall so as to maintain his jackhammer pace.
The two kissed, biting at each other's lips and promising to love each other always.
Daemon held onto her hips, eyes on her arse as it slapped against his thighs, making all the more obscene and wet noises. He loved it.
"AH!" She screamed as she came a third time within the span of an hour. Her legs felt dead and she was sure she'd have fallen if Daemon hadn't been holding her up, still chasing his pleasure from her body.
She tensed, anticipation building as she dreamt of a silver haired, purple eyed babe.
She wanted his seed so bad. So, so bad!
Daemon grunted and growled and his hands moved from her hips to her waist. He pulled her off the wall and flush against himself as he thrust in one last time.
Hot cream filled her up as he came inside her. It hit her inner walls and she felt it as it shot all the way up into her womb.
Both husband and wife. Brother and sister moaned as they together came down from their high. They held onto each other, refusing to be parted after having such a intimate coupling together.
She sighed happily, laying her head against his broad shoulder and he hid his face in her neck. She knew. Just knew that they had made a babe tonight. She had, as always, gotten what she wanted. She really was spoiled!

Tumblr media
You are Miles lover..but you are also the friendly neighborhood Spider hero! While Miles is the Prowler! And the worst..you both didn't know that
But you never thought Prowler was a bad guy,he actually helped people too but- he kinda hates you for some reason
maybe he was jealous of the amount of popularity you have and how you are incredible strong and how your suit was soooo pretty so yeah, who cares about Prowler anyways? He's a douchebag
As for Miles..He is the best!!
He looks like he is trying to poop everytime with that "scary" face of him but he is really sweet and respectful boy
he respects your space and supports your decisions,he is great with gifts (handmade or purchased) and never fails to make you feel especial regardless of anything ♡
You were great friends with his family too! They love you! But, something happened
His dad was captain Morales,he passed away doing his job..being a hero without spider powers or something like that yeah good guy
You remembered that when he was alive he didn't liked the ideia of a masked hero around (another jealous man),but after some events you kinda "worked together" to protect the peace at the city
The Spiderhero and captain Morales protecting our dear Brooklyn! couldn't get better
he enjoyed talking about his son and you can't deny it was fun to see what Miles was like from his father's point of view
"My boy has a beautiful significant other,i consider them as my own child! You know? Don't tell anybody but i kinda get jealous on how much of attention my wife put on them cause like, does she like them more then me?!! That's unacceptable hmfp"
Yeah and things like that was really fun too
But that day you couldn't saved him
You tried.. But unfortunately it didn't worked
Miles was devastated..you felt so guilty every day for not being able to save his dad but you always comforted him whenever he need it and he is very grateful for that
If you thought you were nobody under your hero mask you are sorely mistaken! You are everything to Miles, you are his hero
it's been sometime since that happened and everything seems to be okay
Until now
It was a random night you were patrolling the city when you ended up realizing that you were close to where Miles lived
It wouldn't hurt anyone to take a look would it?
But the last thing you expected to see was this
And this i mean
Prowler on the rooftop at Miles building
[•••]
What if he is planning to hurt Miles? You couldn't let that happen, could you?
You were ready to attack him sneakily but his mask came off
Curious to know who your unbearably annoying enemy is you decided to wait a while
Then..you saw him!Miles Morales was the Prowler, and he wasn't alone..Aaron was with him
You were surprised! Who wouldn't tbh
You decided to stay a little longer to see what he is going to do:
- Miles..we will finally catch that spider,i can feel it.- said Aaron
- Yeah,i can't wait for that Tio (uncle) Aaron
You noticed that Aaron seemed to be hesitant to tell Miles something, then he said:
- Look Miles,they.. could be anyone -you thought to yourself "does he know I'm the spider hero!?-
- What are you trying to say?
- I'm trying to say that - he hesitates one more time - don't forget why we are doing all this ok? Mi hermano (my brother) ..Your dad, está muerto (is dead) because that "hero" couldn't save him, they saved everyone but couldn't bother to save him and - Before Aaron could say more Miles interrupt him
- I know tio, don't worry - his mask returns to his face - esta noche(tonight)..I'm gonna kill that spider
You know what he said
You know what he is planning to do
Miles..the boy you love
Is going to kill you
[•••]
You are on the edge of the building
The only thing keeping you from falling is Prowler
He got his claws ready to kill you
Your heart is beating fast
"I don't want to die! I can't die yet! I don't want to get killed by him! Miles please!"you thought:
- Who are you?
- I... - he moves his claws closer to your face
With his claws he slowly takes off your mask
When he took the mask off you ,tears rolled down from your eyes
That look of fear and your watery eyes
Made Miles heart break
"This wasn't supposed to happen"
Miles thought
"Why is this happening?":
- Miles.. - you said whispering looking at him
Miles is feeling a lot of emotions
He is scared
He is angry
He is confused
And he is sad
Miles face is revealed
You see a tear fall down from his eye:
- Amor.. - you can hear by his voice that he is hurt
He don't want to do this,he can't do this!
But still
Miles doesn't let go of you:
- Miles..look i know why you are doing this! And i swear my love i really tried to save him!
"My love" he loves when you call him that, you always call him with so full of love on your voice that always make he feels warm
But is he feeling warm now that you are calling him? With so much despair trying to prove your point?
He close his eyes for a second and looked away as if he was trying to ignore you:
- Please! The fact that i couldn't save him still hunts me..Look at me Miles
He looked at you
More tears fall down from your eyes:
- The hardest thing about this job is that you can't save everybody..It took me a while to accept this but it's the truth
It took a while to accept this? That made Miles wonders if you even asked to be a hero at all
He loosens his grip a little
You wanted to tell him everything
How much it hurts you to be a hero
But you keep it to yourself:
- I know it hurts Miles,i know you want to kill me but please..Those people - you you looked around - they need me..let me do for them what i couldn't do for you
He moves his claws close to your face
You look deep into his eyes and said:
-Please..if you find a little sympathy in your heart.. forgive me for everything- you said honestly - I love you Miles
you shut your eyes and...

A Dragon's Love
Author's Note: First time posting on tumblr, so please go easy on me, I hope you like this fic<3 Also, this fic is heavily team green, so if that's not your thing, this is a warning.
Trigger Warnings (for this chapter): Brief mentions of violence (tourneys), childbirth, death, I think that's it but if there's more I missed please let me know.
Chapter 1: Born from Tragedy next part
As the sounds of knights riding their horses and lances bashing into shields filled the air, at the great tourney to celebrate the birth of what would hopefully be the son of King Viserys, his wife, Queen Aemma, laid in the childbed, crying out as her body swam in the depths of a pain the gods cruelly decided only women would bear.
The babe was in breech, and there was very little that could be done. King Viserys was given a choice; cut the babe out of his wife, and gain a possible son, but loose his beloved Aemma, or leave it to the gods to decide. The King chose to play god instead, and gave the order. The Queen caught on to what was happening, and as she was held down by an army of nurses, and her own husband, her lasts words were short, yet so profound they would go on the haunt King Viserys until he too met the stranger; “No.”
More disappointment was yet to come, for now the Queen was dead, and the boy the King so longed for was in fact not a boy, but a girl, a daughter. A screaming, pink, healthy babe, but she was just a girl. Viserys could hardly look at her, for shame of what he had done. The little girl looked up at her father, who struggled to even look at her, without seeing the face of his now dead wife in hers.
“And what will she be called, Your Grace?” The Maester cut the silence by asking the King. “Daenys. Princess Daenys Targaryen.” He answered, as he handed off the babe to her nurses, for in his guilt the King could not look at her any longer.
.
.
.
In a mere matter of months later, the King married the Lady Alicent Hightower, dearest friend and companion to his daughter, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. It was an act the destroyed the once unbreakable friendship between the two girls, and now the young Rhaenyra had yet another reason to loathe her new baby sister; she killed her mother, and consequently, made her lose her best friend.
Thus, the sweet baby Daenys was left seemingly alone in the world; no mother, a father that couldn’t bear to look at her, and a sister that bore no love for her. Indeed, the gods can be cruel.
Months after the marriage of King Viserys and Queen Alicent, the Queen was found to be with child, and soon gave the King his much wanted son, and they called him Aegon. Of course, at this point to Viserys, this changed nothing, as he had already named his daughter Rhaenyra as heir. At first many saw it as a temporary action to secure the line of succession, and to disinherit his younger  brother, Prince Daemon. But it was clearly much more than that, and some might say it was his way of righting the wrong he did to the only woman he ever loved, his first wife Aemma, by naming their daughter Rhaenyra the first woman as the heir to the Iron Throne. If only he knew what sorrow that choice would reign upon the House of the Dragon.
The Princess Rhaenyra soon married Ser Leanor Velaryon, son of Corlys Velaryon and Princess Rhaenys Targaryen. Time passed and passed, and Rhaenyra never showed a drop of kindness to her little sister, who tried to follow her around as soon as she could walk. The coldness from her sister and the slowly but surely depreciating health of her father saw the Princess Daenys in the care of Queen Alicent. She wasn’t always warm and kind, like many might expect a mother to be, but she grew a special affection for her step daughter. In turn, little Daenys felt the same for her step mother, and, her half siblings. Daenys and Aegon were about the same age, and as they grew, were inseparable. When Helaena came along, and they were about two and one respectively, Aegon cried at the deviation of attention from him to his new sister, but Daenys took to baby Helaena right away. When Prince Aemond was born a year later, Daenys loved her siblings with all her heart, even as the little girl kept longing for the love and acceptance of her older sister.
.
.
.
Thirteen years later
Daenys sat with her sister Helaena, who was whispering indecipherable words as she allowed the many legged creature to crawl about her hands. Daenys did not care for the many insects her sister seemed to adore so, but she never said anything because she knew there was not much that brought her sister such peace of mind, even if it meant having all sorts of bugs in display containers in their shared rooms.
She watched as Queen Alicent attempted to lend a comforting touch to her daughter, but Helaena tensed, and it was clear she did not want to be touched, as had been the case since her betrothal to their brother Aegon. Feeling bad for her stepmother, Daenys walked over and said, “Your Grace, perhaps a walk in the fresh air might do Helaena some good?” Alicent looked up affectionately at Daenys and smiled sadly, responding, “Yes, that’s a good idea my dear.” As the two princesses got up to make their way out, the doors burst open and Aemond ran in, straight into his mother’s embrace and he went on angrily, “They gave me a pig!”
“What?” Alicent asked as she tried to calm down her son. “They gave me a pig to ride!” He yelled, shaking with anger. Daenys did not hear the words of comfort whispered by his mother, but did hear Helaena whisper, “He’ll have to close an eye.”
Alicent then left, no doubt to reprimand Aegon, and Aemond stalked over to his sisters, and passed them to sit by the window, in a quiet anger. Daenys turned to Helaena, but before she could speak Helaena already knew and whispered, “Go ahead, sister.” Daenys smiled kindly, Helaena always knew what she was thinking. Daenys walked over to where Aemond sat and joined him quietly, and asked, “Are you alright?”
“They gave me a pig, Aegon and those bastard Strongs. How is it fair that the bastards have a dragon and I don’t? I’m a true Targaryen, and yet I have no dragon.” He huffed as he looked out the window. Daenys took his hand in hers and said, “Aegon is a fool, and often doesn’t know when enough is enough. I believe you’ll have a dragon on day, Aemond. It’ll be a marvellous dragon, that puts the others to shame.” At this, her brother turned to look at her and asked, “Even Meraxa?” Referring to Daenys’s own dragon, who was incredibly large, larger than Dreamfyre, with beautiful white and red scales. Daenys gave him a smile that put him at ease, and replied, “Hmm, well we shall have to see. I wonder if any dragon can put my Meraxa to shame. But until you claim one that can, you can ride with me on Meraxa any time you want.”
Aemond smiled slightly and tightened his hand around hers. Later that day, when the sun was setting, Daenys made her way to her older sister’s apartments, to wish her congratulations on the birth of her new babe, Joffery.
She knocked on the door, until she heard her sister’s voice call out, “Enter!”
Daenys pushed the door open and walked in to the sight of Rhaenyra sitting tiredly on the settee in her rooms, as she rocked baby Joffery.
“Sister, I come to wish you congratulations on the birth of Prince Joffery.” She said, as Rhaenyra barely glanced at her.  “Thank you, Daenys.” Was all she said, and rather coldly at that. But Daenys was used to it. Her sister had never warmed up to her, always seeing Daenys as the one that killed her mother, and ruined her friendship with Alicent, and the years hadn’t softened how she felt about Daenys. Yet, despite the continuing effort she always made with Rhaenyra, she had seemingly already hardened her heart to the younger girl, and had no desire to have any relationship with her.
“I trust your labours were alright? And little Joffery is well?” She pressed, hoping for something, anything other than the coldness Rhaenyra always gave her, but as always, nothing came.
“They were alright. Joffery is quite well. Labours can be quite strenuous, as I’m sure you know.” Rhaenyra replied emotionlessly. They both knew she meant it not in the sense that Daenys had birthed children of her own, but that she was the cause of their mother’s untimely death in the childbed.
Daenys fought the tears that sprung up in her eyes, and simply said, “Indeed. Well, I bid you good day, sister.” As she walked out of the rooms. Rhaenyra hadn’t bothered to even bid her goodbye. Daenys lets her tears begin to fall down her face, and she quietly stifled her sobs as she made her way to the Godswood. She knew that it would be dark soon, and that she should go to her rooms with Helaena, but she preferred to be alone for a moment, if only to shed her tears in peace.
Once, when she was twelve, she tried to ask Rhaenyra about their mother, which resulted in an awful exchange between the two, which led to Rhaenyra berating her cruelly, and Daenys crying and running to find comfort in the arms of Alicent, which only angered Rhaenyra even more. The memory came back to Daenys as she sat under the Godswood tree, watching the sky turn to night, nothing but the sound of her quiet sobs and sniffles in the air.
“Daenys?” She heard a familiar voice call out to her. She wiped her tears away quickly and saw Aemond approach. “What’s the matter?” He asked as he sat next to her. She loved her younger brother, although he always put on a tough face, he had a kind heart. While Aegon was loud and boisterous, ever seeking attention, Aemond was always in the shadows, yet he always stood out to her.
“Nothing, truly.” She replied, sniffling. “Just because you’re older doesn’t mean you can’t  tell me things. It’s alright. You comforted me earlier, I only wish to comfort you now.” He said with a slightly nervous voice. Daenys smiled at him sadly. “I went to see Rhaenyra. I just wanted to congratulate her on the babe.” She told him, and Aemond scoffed, “Ah yes, the newest Strong bastard.” Despite their sister’s cruelty to her, Daenys reprimanded him with a playful touch and said, “She wasn’t too happy to see me. She never is. I suppose I am a fool to keep trying, when I am to blame for our mother’s passing.”
“You’re not. Rhaenyra is a fool, and you are the best sister ever. But don’t tell Helaena,” he comforted her with a smile, and she giggled.
“Do not blame yourself. It is not your fault. You didn’t ask to be born, you could not control what happened that day, you were only a babe.” Aemond reassured her, and she chastely kissed him on the forehead and said, “Since when did my little brother become so wise?” Aemond rolled his eyes and said, “I’ll be a man soon, sister. And Daeron is quite younger than me.” Daenys laughed, “True, but Daeron isn’t here is he? So then, I’m afraid you’re  little brother until we see him next.” Aemond shook his head, attempting to hide his smile, as the two siblings sat together, under the Godswood, talking and laughing until they were found and summoned back into the castle once more.

So au idea Jason doesn't get adopted by Bruce Wayne but he does get adopted by A Batman....a tomorrow knight.....
So my idea is that somehow Terry mcginnis finds himself in the past of Gotham ( yes I'm going by Dcau continuity so it after after batman the animated series but before the new batman adventures is the time I'm thinking of this time misplaced.) So anyway Terry somehow find himself in crime Ally were he stumbled upon a young Jason Todd is trouble ( can't think if he's getting beat up or chase. You decide of the conflict) Terry being the hero that he is, no matter what time he's in, saves the little punk.
" you ok little guy?" Terry asked after the rescue. Young Jason is obviously ( and reasonably) scared out of his mind. Sure he has heard of the batman on the streets, even seen some photos of him in the newspapers. But batman looked like he was a demon from hell. Young Jason mind was quick change when the not batman gaved him his first real meal is week when he notices Jason stomach growled. ( How did Terry get the food might you ask ? Cause he's batman duh.)
With miraculously avoiding the young batman of the time, Terry does find a way back to his time, But a little someone tags along " come back with a souvenir, I see." The elderly Bruce Wayne says. This confused Terry so he says " what souvenir?" Then the elder Batman point his cane to Terrys leg so were young Jason Todd is hanging off of.
( it a good thing to mention that this is a little after return of the joker so old Timmy todd is here.) everyone is obviously freaking out. A literal child from 40 ish in the past is in their present. Tim recognized Jason Todd as they grew up together in crime Ally and the fact both their dad's worked for two face back in the day. Tim remembers Jason disappearing two weeks after Jasons dad got arrested and a year before he became Robin.
This is bad that means that Jason was ment to be here and if they send him back it could cause a time paradox. The question was now was what to do with the little punk. Tim thinks that Jason should go with him given their history. He's pretty sure that his wife wouldn't mind having an other kid around the house. Barbara even volunteers giving that her and Sam never had kids of their own. But Jason has already got attached to Terry and with won't let go of him, no matter how the other have try. He has already has chosen him emotional support batman. So Terry makes a decision....
Later Dana gets a call from Terry to meet up her at some place. When Dana gets there Terry says " I should of told you this a while ago but I'm batman." And before Dana has time to process this Terry then says " and I've recently become an teen father." Then he pulls out Jason from nowhere. " This is Jason my adoption son." ( "Dana meet our adopted son Jason." Terry probably.) Dana then also adopted Jason seeing that the little guy is so cute. It was also weird when Terry went home to explain to his mom and brother that they were now a grandma and uncle. ( Even when the child was around Matt's age.) max was also surprised with she Heard the story
Bruce legally has custody of Jason, until Terry turn 18 in a couple of months. Bruce is now Jason grandpa in this au and with tim and Barbara are his aunt's and uncles. ( I haven't decided if Jason becomes Terry Robin or not. It's your decision really. But hay at least the joker is already dead if he does)
-----------------------------
*bonus*
Tim: I always thought that Terry brother was going be his first robin. Not I owe dick 50 creds.
Barbara: you make a bet with your brother. Wait dick has never met Terry how does he know that he has a brother.
Tim: he's Nightwing duh
Barbara: of course he is ( facepalm)
Bruce:( is dialing someone)
Barbara: and who are you calling ?
Bruce : Wally West cause now I owe him 100 creds cause me and him make a bet if Terry was ever getting a Robin.
Barbara: ugh ( facepalm again.)

LUCEMOND FIC IDEA CANON DIVERGENCE AU:
(Luke lives, and Rhaenyra doesn't lose Visenya)
The greens have won. Rhaenyra has already lost too much for the sake of the crown. The blacks bend the knee, and Rhaenyra and her family are sent to Dragonstone to live for the rest of their days. Rhaenyra has lost her husband(Daemon) and two of her sons(Jace and Joffrey), as well as the support of most of the influential houses of Westeros (including the Velaryons).
Rhaenyra lives in peace for a few years with her remaining family( Lucerys, Viserys, Aegon iii, and Visenya) on Dragonstone, when a raven arrives demanding their presence at court once more. Rhaenyra goes willingly. She has already lost too much. She doesn't fear for her children, for they no longer have any claim to anything.
They don't know what to expect when they reach Kingslanding. Once there, they are greeted warmly by the dowager queen Alicent. It's painfully obvious that she is trying to act as if they were still old friends.
As they enter the red keep, both Rhaenyra and Lucerys take notice of how the Lords and ladies of the court address them. They speak to them with what seems to be fake flattery, and forced smiles. It would seem nobody truly wanted them here.
They reach the throne room, the guards at the entrance announce their presence. They enter and what they see surprises them.
On the throne, sits Aemond Targaryen with Otto by his side. Aegon is nowhere to be seen. They walk in and bow.
Otto is the first to speak. "King Aegon II has sadly passed away." This perks up everyone's ears. "As he no longer has any living heirs , the closest to inherit the throne is now his younger brother, Prince Aemond Targaryen." Lucerys pales at the thought of his uncle becoming the King.
Rhaenyra realises why they are there. They want them to swear fealty to Aemond now. To further prove that Rhaenyra no longer has a claim to the throne, by bending the knee yet again, to the greens. She could care less, she'll get it over with and return to Dragonstone with her family.
Rhaenyra bends the knee and recites her oaths, Lucerys does the same after her. With that done, the other Lords at court line up to swear their loyalty to their new king.
When all is over. Rhaenyra gets ready to leave the throne room when she is stopped by the guards.
Aemond watches them, wearing not the conqueror's crown, but her late father's one, shining like gold on his head. He finally addresses them, not taking his eyes off of Lucerys.
"It brings me great joy to see you again, sister." Rhaenyra steps in front of her son. "Surely you do not plan on leaving so early. We have much to discuss."
Rhaenyra frowns. "We have already bent the knee. You have no further need of us, brother." Aemond smiles. A shiver runs up her spine. "You don't truly believe I would send for you only to bend the knee, do you?" He says in a mocking tone. "That is what the letter you sent implied." She answered back smoothly.
Aemond looks behind her, at her sweet boy, with a dark and longing look, and suddenly it clicks. Her blood runs cold.
No.
Anything but that.
"Now that I am king, I must find a wife, no?" Everyone started murmuring as they looked at the remaining blacks.
No.
Rhaenyra raises her head. "I apologise, little brother, but I do believe you're a bit too young for me." A chorus of chuckles can be heard throughout the large room, Aemond's included.
"I see you haven't lost your sense of humour yet, Rhaenyra." The way he says her name doesn't sit well with her.
"Fear not, for it is not you who I plan on making my queen." Aemond looks Lucerys dead in the eye as he says this. Lucerys seems to realise what his uncle is implying.
No.
"No." Rhaenyra states simply. The cheery mood suddenly turns eerily silent. Aemond is no longer smiling.
"I beg your pardon?" He looks at Rhaenyra this time. His face does not show it, but his eyes now look cold and dead. She has to do something. Anything.
She has given too much. She can't just hand over her precious son to them as well. "Lucerys is a man, he cannot give you heirs Aemond, or has having only one eye somehow affected your brain as well?"
Everyone holds their breath as they wait for Aemond's reaction. He stands up from his throne, and slowly walks up to them. Once he is close enough, he addresses them.
"You have a lack of faith sister, or have you forgotten that we come from the blood of old valyria? There are ways for Lucerys to bear my children." Rhaenyra can feel her son shiver behind her.
"Wed him to me, we will marry in both the ways of old valyria and in the eyes of the seven" he is not asking, he's demanding.
"No. I refuse. I will not allow this monstrosity to be seen through" Rhaenyra is seething at this point. She will do whatever it takes, she will lock her son inside the castle on Dragonstone if she must. She'll send him as far away as-
"I'm not asking for your blessing, sister." Aemond shoves her aside, grabs lucerys' arm and pulls him closer. Lucerys gasps but doesn't flinch away.
"You have a debt to pay, taoba." Lucerys looks up at his uncle and speaks for the first time.
"You said my debt was paid when you let me go above shipbreaker bay." Lucerys' voice, soft and quiet. Aemond smiles.
"Yes, your debt for my eye has long been forgiven." He says calmly. Now Lucerys is confused.
"Then what-?" He is rudely interrupted by his uncle. "You still owe me, jorraelza, for stealing something from me. Something far more valuable than my eye."
"I have not stolen anything from you." Lucerys is quick to defend himself. Awmond caresses his cheek as he gazes at him softly.
"My heart, Lucerys. You have stolen my heart." Lucerys can't help the blush that spreads across his cheeks. He looks down in embarrassment, but Aemond tilts his chin up to look at him once more.
"Marry me, Lucerys. You will be my queen" he says. Lucerys nuzzles against his hand. "But, my family -"
"Your family will not be harmed. Once you marry me, I swear to protect them with my life, just say yes. " And how could he turn down such an offer? His uncle's love, and his family, safe and sound.
"Ye-" he goes to answer.
"NO!" The spell seems to be broken, as Aemond and Lucerys remember they have an audience. Lucerys tries to distance himself from Aemond , and that simply won't do.
Aemond pulls him to his side, gripping his waist as they turn towards a furious voice. Rhaenyra is all but shooting daggers at Aemond with her eyes.
"You have taken far too much from me, Aemond. First my throne, then my husband and my sons, and now-" she looks at Lucerys with disapproval in her eyes. "Now you would tear away yet another one of my children from my side. No, I will not allow it."
Aemond does not dignify her with a response. He addresses the guard instead.
"Escort Princess Rhaenyra and her children to their chambers. She is clearly tired from her journey to kingslanding. She would not be speaking with such disrespect to her king if it weren't so." The guards carefully try to take the princess and the children away from the throne room.
"I will never let you marry my son! Never! " Rhaenyra has tears in her eyes as she is being pulled out of the room. " I'd sooner feed him to Syrax than wed him to you. It would be a kinder fate!" The doors are closing, and the last thing she sees is a horrified look upon her sweet boy's face.
The doors close, and silence fills the throne room. Alicent is the first to speak, with a wary smile on her face.
"It is a joyous day indeed, the King has found his future Queen." There is silence before clapping can be heard all around the room. Aemond could care less for the opinions of lesser lords. He looks down, at his nephew's soft features.
"Come, Jorraelza, we have much to do," he gently moves him towards the door. Lucerys seems to snap out of his thoughts and looks up at Aemond curiously.
"Where are we going?" He asks innocently.
Aemond smiles down at him. " To your chambers, of course. You need rest. Wedding planning can wait until tomorrow". He walks him through the red keep, until they reach the chamber doors.
"My chambers are next to yours, Luke. If you need anything, come to me." He kisses his nephew's cheek and bids him goodbye.
Lucerys watches him leave with an innocent smile on his face. As soon as he closes his chambers doors, the façade crumbles. An annoyed expression rests upon his face now.
He had a plan. He would do anything to keep his family safe. Anything. If that meant marrying his uncle, then so be it. He would play the role of a dutiful, happy wife if it meant keeping his mother and siblings safe.
Once he becomes Queen, he'll have enough power to protect them and to get rid of anyone who stands in the way of a brighter future for them.
He hadn't accouted for his mother's reaction though. Surely marrying Aemond couldn't be so horrible....could it?
TBC... Should I make a pt. 2?

“What? Bring a bunch of rednecks and a disable into our group?” Shane turned toward the group once again but up close was Y/N as she suddenly socks the cop in the face knocking him on the ground.
The cop stumbles to the ground making the man he was talking to step back. Dale quickly looks at Y/N seeing the rage radiate off of her person as he held his hands up in surrender.
“Okay. Not deaf. I’m just gonna assume and say mute?” He tilts his head with a questioning look waiting for Y/N to inevitably nod as her tense composure relaxed. “Alright. Now that that’s clarified, we’d love to have yea. Uhm. Just…leave him down there” he states directing them toward their camp as Merle approaches the cop who was stunned on the ground while his siblings went head.
“I wouldn’t fuck with my sis, pig” Merle laughs picking up the pace to catch up with them.
So you’re gonna go on this dangerous run into the town? Could it be a ploy to get rid of you? Y/N frowns signing to Merle as he couldn’t help the laugh that escaped him to that last part.
“They wouldn’t survive if they tried to kill me”
“Can’t hold it against them” Daryl scoffs. “Watch your back, man. We may hate you too but—“ Y/N smacked Daryl in the chest. “Your family. We want yea back in one piece”
I can go with him Y/N states to Daryl as he shakes his head. He’ll be safer with another one of us
I don’t give a flying fuck. Merle is a big boy he’ll be fine Daryl frowns signing to his sister who grew frustrated instantly. “You’re staying here”
“Y’all know I know sign right?”
Everyone is listening Y/N points with her eyes to the few that would watch them talk with sign language and when they got noticed, they’d turn away. This shit isn’t foreign.
Don’t get feisty. I will be fine, kid Merle scoffs, still awful with his signing but it was enough for Y/N to understand. “Yer gonna go on the hunt with Daryl. I’m going on the Atlanta run. Nothing can go wrong”
Then of course, Merle didn’t come back. But another cop did.
Y/N watches her brother go off on the poor guy after he had just reunited with his wife and son. She watches as Shane turns toward her looking for her to stop Daryl’s outburst toward his best friend Rick. But if she could speak, she’d expose what she sees in the trees.
“Stop your brother!”
The youngest Dixon met him with silence but that didn’t mean she didn’t have a plan.
Shane groans as the situation started to escalate and before either cops could get a hand on Daryl. Y/N suddenly came forward and pinched a nerve to make her brother instantly drop to avoid him landing a shot with his knife.
“Thank you” Rick thanks Y/N as she nods before going to Dale writing in the air knowing that would tell him to get her something to write with.
It took some time to get Daryl to calm down as he was now mad at his sister for what she did. Y/N wrote on the pad of paper with Rick and Shane on either side of her.
Is Merle dead?
“No, just chained to a roof”
Is it easy to get there?
“Also no, Atlanta is infested with the dead that we can’t risk going back in there”
“But I can find us a way” Glenn chimes in getting two concerning looks and Y/N’s curious one. “We have to plan this out though.”
“If that’s the case we can also grab the weapons I left behind” Rick adds only for Lori to protest the possibility of actually losing her husband.
Daryl finally calmed down enough to join the planning process as Y/N taps him giving him a concerning look.
If they won’t help us, we’ll do this ourselves Y/N signs but Daryl’s facial expression gave away to the rest of what she told him.
“What’d she say?”
“I’ll agree with her. We’ll take care of it ourselves if yea don’t—-“
“Nah. We ain’t risking lives. If there’s a way? We’ll do it.” Rick insisted and left to talk to Lori about such.
Once it came time to preparing to leave, Y/N got in the hull of the truck with Daryl as she had her axe strapped to her back watching Rick and Shane talk.
You think he’ll tell his friend?
“Nah. Hell I wouldn’t if I did” Daryl scoffs only for his sister to smack him. Why do you care?
We act on emotions. No one really uses their brain anymore. Y/N frowns. Merle must’ve asked for a death wish. Dumb bitch acts more than thinks
He better be okay Daryl frowns signing that last bit as Y/N takes his hand into hers.
But not finding Merle was just the start. Then the outbreak in the camp. And it continued going down hill…
After helping her drunk brother to their room, Y/N went back to the common room of the CDC hearing Shane’s voice and the heat in such toward who she can only assume to be Lori. Even if the girl had no booze in her system, she had to help a friend out.
Before Shane could even lay a hand on Lori is when the door suddenly flew open and Y/N stumbles forward to the couch. She gave out short laughs or what sounds like puffs of air that could mimic such.
“She had a bit too much” Shane rolls his eyes as Lori shoved him away from her before helping Y/N by wrapping her arm around her shoulders. “We were talking”
“I’m taking care of her” Lori’s glares shot like daggers through his chest as she directs Y/N out of the room.
Once the two were alone in the hallway for a short moment, Y/N straightens herself out which confused Lori but she watches her face grow in concern resting a hand on her arm.
“Am I okay?” Lori asks watching her nod as she couldn’t be happier that she had someone who cared for her, even without knowing everything in its entirety. “I’m good. Thanks to you”
Y/N smiles warmly. Good she signs seeing the confusion grow but given what Lori just said.
“Good?” Lori smiles as she nods happily before making sure she got back to her room with her family.
When the CDC was a blow, literally, and the group was a back on the road. Y/N was in the car with Lori, Carl, Carol, and Sophia as she started to teach the kids a few signs with the same pad and pen given to her from Dale. The four started to get the hang of it, the moms more than the kids.
Especially when Y/N signed to Carol that she was going to go look for her daughter. Even if she ended up finding her brother injured along the way. To add more to his state, the two standing close to one another looking like undead blobs in a crosshair to an idiot who’s never shot a hunting rifle before.
“Y/N, we’ve got him” Rick reassures holding him up gesturing for Shane to help hold him up on the other side in place of Y/N.
Clearly the guys helping never “heard” a mute person before but still felt awful listening to Y/N’s crying as it sounded more painful than a regular cry.
“He’ll be okay” Glenn reassures hugging the girl as she watches Dale and Andrea run over to the group which lead to him getting pushed and Y/N rushing Andrea.
“Jesus Christ!” Dale freaks out when Y/N tackled Andrea down to the dirt, pinning her down and not taking any hits on the woman. “Y/N she didn’t mean to”
Y/N just stared at Andrea ignoring Dale and given the ones not carrying Daryl weren’t breaking the two up. They knew she was trying to teach Andrea something but it was never going to get through to her.
A few hours went by and Carol came into the room Daryl was resting in with dinner for him and to thank him for looking for her daughter. But to add…
“Your sister went back out there. Followed your footsteps…more carefully…to figure out more. But given you found something of Sophia’s. You both are doing so much for me that I don’t want you to risk yourself”
“No one should feel that pain of losing somebody…”
“Then don’t let Y/N feel such. I like her” Carol smiles kissing the archer’s temple before leaving the room.
Everything seems to escalate in the apocalypse. Sophia had met her fate too soon, Carol was heartbroken and Daryl was frustrated. Y/N knew not to get in the middle of Daryl’s outburst but he knew that she’d give him a new one to hurt a grieving mother’s feelings even further.
But his frustration turned when Hershel went missing, because so did Y/N.
The Dixon brothers can be idiots for acting on their emotions before even thinking. But their sister knows to think ahead.
Ahead being the attack on the bar that held Rick, Hershel, and Glenn. When Glenn went ahead and Rick thought he was shot, he quickly ran to his friend finding Y/N had pulled him out of the way just in time.
“How did we not see hear you coming?” Rick laughs relieved as she shrugs with a smile before pointing in the direction she was going to help give them a window of escape.
That act lead to Rick and Glenn finally gaining an interest in learning to sign. But that had to wait for their return with a hostage that didn’t really give anything useful except reveal that Shane was more psycho then they thought. And the farm was just as temporary as the CDC.
House hopping gave them time to learn more signing and for Y/N to grow close with everyone left. So the pain she endured when Lori died broke Daryl watching her sob. He didn’t hesitate to help in that split second as he and Maggie left to get formula and other necessities that’ll benefit the baby that was later named Judith.
“You stick close”
You be safe
Daryl nods continuing to follow the group into Woodbury with Y/N covering their backs. Saving Glenn and Maggie lead to be difficult especially when the one that hurt Glenn was their own blood.
Y/N had managed to get out of getting caught up in the trouble her brothers were now facing. But she helped Maggie and Rick get them out of there, even if the two were only trying to get Daryl out of there.
We can’t have him come back with us
He risked himself to help Daryl. Merle isn’t the same man you met back at Atlanta Y/N sighs at Rick who wasn’t going to have someone who worked for the enemy in their space.
Y/N. Think about the baby. We can’t have the Governor knocking on our door Rick frowns signing back as he really didn’t want to argue with Y/N about this.
He also knows what we are signing. Y/N crosses her arms as Rick turns to Merle who was only growing more annoyed. Ain’t good at it. But still. Regardless. He’s family
“HE CAN GET US KILLED” Rick suddenly yells at Y/N shocking all of them and without a second she shouted back. Sounding strangulated but it made it clear that he made a mistake yelling at her.
“Holy shit” Merle scoffs surprised that even came out of Y/N and in regards for him in that matter. “Look. I can help y’all take down Woodbury if shit ever hit the fan. Hell I can even be chained outside like a dog if it means—-“
“We don’t want you there” Glenn frowns still frustrated with what Merle did. Maggie held his arm keeping close and still worried about his injuries.
“Then…we’ll leave” Daryl states not letting any protests from the others who don’t want the good Dixons to leave.
Yet that didn’t last long and Merle could’ve seen it coming a mile away…but part of him was relieved they didn’t stick with him and he wasn’t going to let his family get hurt.
Even though the world keeps taking and Daryl came back to the prison with dried tears and horrible news to Y/N who could already know by the look in his eyes. She turned to Rick with tears in her eyes as she couldn’t even think of the words to say before looking at her feet then signing.
He has to pay.
And he did. The prison then got an infusion of the Woodbury folk and they started to make the place more of a home.
“I’m gonna go huntin’, wanna come or busy?” Daryl knew she was busy given his sister was currently holding baby Judith and listening to her soft coos that she happily expressed.
Don’t forget to check the snares Y/N signs with her focus still on the little baby but before he left her cell she tapped the metal bars to get his attention. Ask Carol to join you she signs with a smirk that was met with a scoff from her older brother.
“Your sister is in love with that baby”
“She’s always wanted to be a mom” Daryl lead the way to track down the rabbit he spotted tracks for with Carol happily joining him.
“But she doesn’t cuz she’s mute? That stops someone?”
“Stops her but Judith fills that void and I ain’t taking that away from her” Daryl knelt down by a snare handing Carol his crossbow for a second to untie the rabbit that was caught. “Make that stew of yours?”
“Let’s find another and then I’ll make your favorite” Carol smiles watching the heat meet the tip of his ears. “I’ll make it for you regardless of how many you get me”
“Hey uh” Daryl straightens up putting the rabbit in the bag. “Maybe we can do the late watch together instead of switchin’ off?”
Carol couldn’t help the excitement to rise in her chest as she nods with that signature smile of hers.
“Then hurry up Pookie.”
The good days were limited, when Carol disappeared and the illness took out a good handful of people with it’s hell and the undead’s involvement. Daryl knew Y/N took care of herself and was taking care of Judith, Carl, and Beth when the illness came through. Protecting them. Even if she didn’t get sick, she was the first person he had to check on once the medicine got into their people.
Carol will come back Y/N reassures with a smile as Daryl brought his arm around her shoulders bringing her in.
“Can I be honest?” Daryl frowns as she nods. “I don’t have a good feeling…”
There seems to be a pattern. The good then bad then good again. But next was bad and the Governor’s comeback was that.
As Daryl got Beth out of the prison hoping Y/N made it out safe, his anxiety was relieved when she ran into the two right before Beth was taken. Y/N felt awful as if everything happening to them was her fault…guess she shares that with Daryl. The silence between the two grew worse when they came in contact with the Claimers. Y/N didn’t want to sign in case any of them knew but by the looks of them, she really could’ve whenever she had a suspicion. But she thought Shane was insensitive toward her…this group was worse
Daryl woke one night with the Claimers to hear Y/N struggling. He was about to get up and knock the lights out of the guy when he was stopped. No leader in sight meant, they were going against his agreement of not laying a hand on her if he did whatever was asked.
“Stop! You’re hurting her”
“Just trying to get words outta her man” One of them laughs crushing her hand which only resulted in more screaming. “Wow she’s real good with no begging to stop”
“Yknow” Len, the one giving Daryl the most trouble, approaches and took her other hand into his. “We gotta go hard” then suddenly a loud crack was audible as he broke not one, but two of her fingers. Making Daryl break loose from one’s grasp and shoving the other into the guy to avoid being grabbed again as he grabbed Len.
Len was instantly tossed to the ground right as Daryl socked the other Claimer in the face finally letting go of Y/N as she knelt to the ground feeling her hands shake trying to get a look through the blur that her tears caused. But all she saw was bent out of place blobs and felt all the unbearable pain that made her scream for the rest of the night.
Which lead to Len’s death the next morning, done by Joe without a second thought. Daryl, bloody and bruised, took the tape he had to buddy tape her broken fingers after snapping them into place as it only brought more pain. He got a good look of the other hand as they were more of the cutting and brushing type with the other. Daryl watched as her hands shake but he couldn’t hold them to comfort her…that would only cause more pain. He took his rag out wrapping the other hand the best he could even if her tears continued to fall.
“They’ll pay” Daryl whispers only for Y/N to bonk her head against his causing a wince from him and his eyes to lock onto hers. “We gotta find the others quick”
Quick came but lead to another fight and Rick killing the one threatening him and the one trying to have his way with Carl. While Michonne takes out her handler and Y/N held her axe with the one hand with no broken fingers, taking out the one that dared lay a finger on her brother then the siblings took out the last two.
As morning came and Rick was talking about going to this Terminus to see if it’s actually safe or not what it is. He was going to ask Y/N if she’s seen any of their own before meeting with Daryl when he noticed what the Claimers had done.
“Fuckers…”
“You’re just gonna have to do all the talking” Daryl states, checking how bad the bruising was on her arms after taking a few hits during their fight on the road. “It’s a safe bet headin’ to this sanctuary”
“Maybe we’ll find the others”
Hopefully Y/N thought blinking away more tears as she sat on the ground for a bit given they’ve all been through hell. A few more minutes didn’t hurt anyone.
The group got to following the tracks to this Terminus and Daryl couldn’t help but check in on his sister even if it was met with tired and pained expressions. He knew what she meant by them.
When they reached Terminus, Daryl instructed Y/N to keep an eye out in case anything goes south. He doesn’t want to risk her life in there. But she was going to anyway.
Y/N heard the gun shots and right as she was about to head inside, the relief that washed over her when Carol met up with her. She couldn’t be happier to devise something to help get their family out of there.
“Who the fuck are—-“ the gunshot cut the guy off as did Rick stabbing the drift wood in the neck of the other one.
Rick sighs thankful seeing Y/N helping them get out of there as she helped let loose the others with her knife. Daryl instantly brought her face into his hands making sure they didn’t lay a hand on her but she smiled in that second to reassure him.
Finally their group got outside of that hell, with new members as well. Daryl didn’t hesitate to hug Carol when they spotted the other in the woods. Y/N watches the two smiling warmly.
Soon the group was pieced together…with a few missing pieces along the way…the good. Then the bad…this should be the good part now?
“Y/N”
Y/N looks up at her brother confused seeing his usual worried expression burden him.
“Please. Please give me somethin’ that’ll confirm this will be alright”
The youngest Dixon knew the words wouldn’t come out in any way to communicate to him, so all she did was take his hand squeezing it with the strength she had left.
Then the gates opened to Alexandria…
The good.

July 21st, 2010 4:25 a.m.
Ever since you found out the news, you've been struggling to sleep. Not only were you constantly nauseous and lightheaded, but you weren't certain if Rick actually wanted kids or not. Sure, you guys talked about it, but never anything serious ever came out of it. You saw the way Rick was with his best friend's son, Carl, and you longed to have a little one of your own. You personally loved kids, hell you taught them for a living. But whenever you brought up the topic, Rick quickly shut it down and changed the course of the conversation to a lighter subject.
You think it's because Rick and his brother didn't have the greatest relationship with their father, and Rick was afraid of repeating the past. However, you knew he would be a great father, and you knew he would break the cycle of neglection.
A few days ago, when you first took the test and saw the lines telling you, you were in fact pregnant, you were over the moon. You were so excited when Rick came home from work, nearly jumping out of your skin. But instead, you were faced with a grumpy, tired man who had a terrible day at work.
"You ok?" You ask pulling away from the hug and looking up at Rick, the excitement wiped from your face.
"Yeah, long day." Rick sighs as he toes off his work shoes.
You follow Rick into the living room and watch him plop on the couch and rest his arm over his eyes. You tap his foot, silently asking him to move them. Rick moves his arm just enough to get a glimpse at you and raises his legs. You sit, bringing his legs to rest across your lap. You turn your body to face him, resting your head in your hand, with your arm on the back of the couch. Giving his knee a squeeze, you say "Wanna talk about it?"
"No." Rick shakes his head. He lifts his arm off of his eyes, and clasps his hands together across his abdomen and stares up at the ceiling, seeming deep in thought about his rough day. He tilts his head towards you and smiles when he sees you're already staring at him. He sits up slightly. "What about your day? Do anything fun?"
Your mind immediately races to the pregnancy test currently residing in your back pocket, but deciding now is definitely not the time, you smile down at him and play with a loose thread on his pants. "No, just went grocery shopping and read a few chapters of my book."
"Man, sometimes I wish I became a teacher, getting the whole summer off." Rick whistles. "Nah, instead I gotta deal with dipshits who attack cashiers because they won't give them a credit for half eaten food, which by the way, they ate."
"Oh, so you had a day?" You giggle.
"Baby, I swear to god, everyone and their mother was fucking on one today. We got so many ridiculous calls, we were running all over town." Rick cringes as he remembers one scenario where he had to break up a fight between a naked old lady and her neighbor. As soon as he got back to the station he took a shower. He's never scrubbed his body with more soap in his life. He shudders and looks at you with distant eyes. "You have no idea."
You smile at him. You have no idea either.
The next couple of days, you tried again but you never had a good opportunity to bring such important news up to Rick. You decided you would tell him today, as it is your guy's 4th anniversary and Rick was able to take the early morning shift, meaning he would be home around 2:30 instead of his usual time of 5.
So, you lay there at 4:25 in the morning, not have gotten a single wink of sleep, as you anxiously wait for Rick's alarm to go off at 4:30.
Rick's front is pressed against your back, with his arm wrapped tightly around your waist. You wiggle your way around to face him, expecting to see your handsome husband, but you are met with an open mouth snorer, drooling and fanning shit breath across your face. You scrunch your nose up at the smell and try to shove the bile rising up in your throat back down. You turn your body again, but this time so you are facing the ceiling.
"Jesus Christ." You whisper. You think of popping a mint in the man's open mouth, but you are met with the image of Rick violently waking up and chocking, so you decide you better not. Instead, you wait for the alarm clock to wake up the putrid man who sleeps beside you.
BEEP BEEP BEEP
Your stomach falls out of your ass as the most annoying alarm clock, courtesy of Rick, goes off, reminding you once again of the news you plan to tell him today. You swallow thickly as the arms wrapped around you slither away. You act asleep, not really in the mood to talk in your current position.
"Fucking. Piece. Of. Shit." Rick loudly whispers as he practically breaks the alarm clock in half trying to get it to shut up. When it finally does, he looks at you and smiles when he sees you 'sleeping'. He wipes the sleep from his eyes and kisses your cheek, before getting out of bed and heads into the bathroom. Rick shuts the door before turning on the light. You hear the faint sound of the shower running. You sigh, and turn on your side facing away as much as you can from the light shining through the cracks of the door.
You've almost drifted off when Rick emerges from the bathroom with a towel dangerously hanging low on his hips. He forgets to turn the light off before heading into the closet to put on his uniform, successfully blinding you, even with your eyes closed.
"Rick." You grumble out.
He pokes his head out of the closet and looks at you confused by your crabby attitude. You glare at him, he should know by now that you are definitely not a morning person, let alone do you like being visually impaired so early in the morning. You angrily point your finger at the bathroom.
"I swear to god if you don't turn that light off right fucking now, I'm going to kick you so hard in the ba-" Rick cuts you off. "Ok, ok!" Rick puts his hands up in mock surrender. "Jeez woman, why do you always got to result to violence." He laughs as he turns the light off.
You turn your back to him. "Because it's the only thing that works with your stubborn ass." You say sleepily.
Rick looks down and smiles before he comes and sits on the edge of your side of the bed. He brushes the hair out of your face. "Happy Anniversary to you too grumpy pants."
You squint at him and whisper out a "Happy Anniversary." Before Rick pecks your lips. "I'll try to leave early today, have Shane cover for me."
"That man's as good of a liar as Pinocchio, good luck with that." You say smiling up at Rick.
"Hey, he owes me one after I caught him and Lori in the evidence lockup the other day." He says, causing you to giggle.
He looks down at you, before attacking your face with kisses, making you laugh as his lips tickle your skin. He grins down at you before standing up.
"I love you baby." Rick says as he heads out the bedroom door. You watch him leave, saying "I love you too, be safe please."
You hear a faint "always" before the front door closes. You turn your body again, finding it very hard to get comfortable enough to finally go to sleep.
11:00 a.m.
You slept for about two hours before waking up again. All you can think about is how you're supposed to bring it up. Should I just hand him the test and hope for the best? No, that's boring. Although this was a touchy subject, you still wanted to celebrate in a fun way, after all this is your first child.
In the end you run to the store and grab a newborn onesie that says, "I was Daddy's fastest swimmer." It made you cringe, and you thought it was very cliche, but who knows, maybe it'll lighten the mood a little bit.
You arrive home and grab the test out of your nightstand, wrapping it in the onesie before putting it into Rick's watch box that he insisted on keeping. The thought of him thinking you have gifted him another watch, after you had just recently got him one for Christmas, makes you giggle. You can vividly see his face scrunch up in confusion as he looks down at the watch that already resides on his wrist. You wrap the box in a pretty blue wrapping paper and but a gold bow on top of it. You place the present on the coffee table and decide to clean up the house a little bit, after you've neglected it since you found out the news.
1:00 p.m.
You sit on the couch hunched over, elbows on your knees, with your head resting in your hands as you stare at the box deep in thought. What if he freaks out? What if he leaves? You think and your eyes go wide. What if he never speaks to me again? What i- your thoughts are cut off by someone pounding on the front door, effectively making you jump and sit up straight. You stand up, wiping your hands on your jeans and make your way towards the door, swinging it open.
Your mouth slightly opens in confusion as you blink up at a sweaty and shaken Shane. "Sh-Shane?" You ask confused. "Is everything alright?"
Shane shakes his head, points his finger towards the living room, silently asking to talk inside. You swallow thickly as you stare at him, moving out of the way so he can make his way inside. Everything seems to be in slow motion as you follow Shane to the couch. You see him eyeing the present before lightly pushing it out of the way, to sit on the coffee table. You sit down on the couch in front of him, annoyed that he's beating around the bush and ignoring the elephant in the room.
"Will you just fucking tell me if my husband is alive or not?" You ask glaring at him. Shane looks at you shocked, mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water.
"Y-yeah, I mean, yes, he's alive."
You let out a breath you didn't realize you were holding in, before sighing and looking down at your hands. "How bad is it?" You ask through tears, glancing up at Shane.
"It's pretty bad. We missed a gunman in a chase and we were blindsided by him. I'm so sorry y/n. I wish it was me. I would do anything to trade places with him." Shane all but pleads.
You look up at him, nervously biting the inside of your lip, something Rick thought was cute when he'd catch you doing it. You run your fingers through your hair and say, "Will you drive me to the hospital?'
"Of course I will." Shane says as he grabs your hand and squeezes it.
"Ok." You whisper. "Meet me at the car in 5 minutes?"
Shane nods his head and gives you one more glance before heading out the front door. Tears freefall from your eyes, and you viciously scrub at them, begging them to stop. You stand up, biting the skin around the nail of your thumb and begin to pace, glancing at the present every now and then. Eventually, you pick the present up and throw it at the wall across the room, putting a dent into the corner of the box. You give it one last look before heading out to your husband's cruiser now being driven by Shane, slamming the front door behind you.
