This is my first time doing a request, I hope it doesn't bother you and you can choose the character you want to cast as Reader's partner. So imagine a world where hybrids exist, but they only make up a few percent of the world's population.
Reader is a snow leopard hybrid, but because the snow leopard is smaller than a leopard, much smaller than a tiger, and slightly smaller than a forest lynx, so he has the character of fluffy white ears and tail and short height, he works in an office and because his big and long fluffy tail can annoy people he often bites his own tail so as not to disturb others and it makes people who are in the same department with him spend a little time just to stroke his head and get a purring reaction from him.
This was heard by the Office manager's ears and became curious which in the end he made Reader a private secretary and often stroked Reader's head, until one day he accidentally pulled Reader's tail and got an unexpected reaction. Since then he has often pulled Reader's tail with 'accident' reasons which ended with office sex.
You can change it or ignore it if you feel uncomfortable, sorry if this is too long and sorry if my English is bad. Have a good day
:]

╰┈─➤ BEGINNING
(Name) didn’t hate being a hybrid. Sure there was the weirdos that wanted to keep him a pet but most treated him as a regular person. The only odd part was having people just touching his head.
It certainly didn’t help that he couldn’t help the purring that happened whenever he did. It just kept going so he ignored it most time. The pats were nice anyway.
At his job, his boring office job that he’d been debating on quitting, had two people who just couldn’t let go of his hair (plus ears). Kuroo and Bokuto loved to pet him as if he was a house cat.
He usually purred whenever they touched him since they figured out how to get that reaction from it. His ears were sensitive, don’t judge.
(Name)’s tail swished around as he began to get irritated at the paper work in front of him. That damn boss of his was annoying him with the amount of shit he continued to give him on a daily basis. He was just about to get up from his seat when someone stepped in his tail.
He cried out in pain, which was more akin to a cat’s scream, as he grabbed his tail and held it close to himself. Everyone in the office stared at him in shock while the culprit, Yamaguchi, looked as if he wanted to kill himself.
“I’m so sorry!!! Please forgive me!!” He cried, bowing down onto the ground. (Name) simply nodded. He knew he didn’t do it on purpose.
His tail was much longer than normal hybrids. It also didn’t help that he was shorter so it made his tail appear longer than it actually was.
But Yamaguchi wouldn’t be the only one to step on it. Soon enough, at least everyone stepped on it at least once. Kuroo twice became he didn’t watch where his big ass feet went but (Name) had to figure out what to do.
The pain was becoming unbearable and he was sure another two steps would cause his tail to break. He decided, when every other idea sounded stupid, to just hold it in his mouth.
(Name) was used to the fur in his mouth so it didn’t bother him to lightly hold the tail. This way, he didn’t have to fold it into an uncomfortable position for longer than hour. A few times he wrapped his tail around his waist but that always got a cramp after an hour or so.
“It’s like you got your own silencer,” Bokuto once said, scratching (Name)’s hair during his break. (Name) purred happily, his tail curling around Bokuto’s waist to hold him close.
“Oh, he could use his tail during sex.” Kuroo suddenly said, a smirk on his lips.
Kenma looked confused. “Why would he?” He was resisting the urge to pet (Name). His love for cats extended to (Name) heavily but he never actually touched him in fear of making uncomfortable.
“To muffle his moans,” Kuroo rolled his eyes. “Perfect for when you don’t want to get caught.”
“Oh, so dirty,” Bokuto laughed.
“Weirdo…” Kenma whispered.
(Name) was too busy enjoying his massage to care.
The four of them stopped talking when Iwaizumi had walked past them. He nodded in greeting which they returned. Iwaizumi looked mainly confused on Bokuto petting (Name) but didn’t say anything as he walked to his office.
Iwaizumi was the boss’s secretary. He was hardly outside of his office. It usually meant something bad happened if he was.
“Do you think the boss knows?” Kuroo asked.
“Know what?” (Name) questioned, frowning when Bokuto stopped his massage.
“About you. I heard he loves hybrids.”
“In a fetish way?”
“Dunno. Probably.”
Kenma sighed. “I’m getting back to work.”
Bokuto seemed to be deep in thought for a moment before shrugging. “He hardly comes out of his room like Iwaizumi. He wouldn’t care about (Name).”
“True.”
But how wrong they were.
It was a week later after Iwaizumi saw the petting zoo with Bokuto and (Name). And suddenly (Name) was being requested to meet the Boss. He felt worried.
Sure hybrids had protections on them but this was a private company. What couldn’t they get away with if they paid the right people? His coworkers all looked a bit worried themselves as they watched him walk away to the office.
They certainly didn’t help his heart calm down.
He knocked on the door waiting for the voice of a much older man to allow him in. But he only heard a much younger voice. (Name) hesitantly walked inside the office and saw a man possibly only four years his senior.
Oh, he was much younger than he thought. Okay, maybe he could get off the hook for whatever problem he caused. (Name) quickly bowed and closed the door, walking over to the seat in front of the desk.
The man’s brown hair was slicked back with a nice pair of glasses on his face. His smile was wide, a bit creepy but way more welcoming than (Name) had imagined. The man watched him for a second before his smile faded and he slide over a folder.
“Mister Hiragi, yes? You’ve been working with our company for over four years, right when I started after I took over for my father.”
“Yes…”
“I would like to offer you a promotion. You handled any work I sent your way with ease. I believe you deserve a higher position.”
(Name) nodded, a smile on his face. Oh, guess he could stay here a bit longer.
“My personal assistant, is the job I’m offering.”
“Isn’t Iwaizumi-San your secretary?”
“A personal assistant is different than a secretary. You’ll only work for me. Iwaizumi doesn’t have any power over you.”
(Name) hummed, his tail swishing around as he was deep in thought. His eyes were down on the folder, not noticing the man’s eyes that followed his tail with a hint of mischievousness.
“If this is alright for me to ask, will the salary increase?”
“Of course.”
“Then I accept.”
“Great. You’ll start next week, enjoy your Friday, Mister Hiragi.”
(Name) was right where he wanted him. Just how lucky was he?
(Name) had learned the boss name was Oikawa and that Iwaizumi had no fear in talking shit to his face. The amount of ‘shittykawa’ that or ‘asskawa’ this, Iwaizumi still kept his job.
He envied him.
He wanted to cuss out Oikawa too.
After the weekend, that Monday he first started his new high paying job, he was told to make coffee.
A fucking coffee!
After that, he was told to organize a shelf that had bothering Oikawa because he kept forgetting to higher a cleaner. Maybe he should’ve read the contract first before saying yes. But he told himself it was good money.
But it wasn’t just that that made him want to cuss him out, no it was the constant touching of his tail.
(Name) was bending down to pick up some trash when he felt Oikawa grasp his tail. It was a quick touch, as if he wanted to just feel if it was real. And it wasn’t the last time either.
(Name)’s office was now technically Oikawa’s. His old cubicle was given to a new employee so he couldn’t even go back to it if he wanted to. He did visit his coworkers during breaks but he didn’t get the Bokuto massages or Kuroo scratches anymore like he loved.
No, he had to worry with the tail pervert who continuously grasped it before letting go as if it burned him. He really wanted to know what was so tempting about it but decided the money was too good to take any chances.
There were a few times Oikawa pet his hair. It usually lasted just a second, but still resulted in a purr from (Name). (Name) wondered if it was because he was missing head pats for him to enjoy the simply touch from Oikawa.
“Hiragi, can you please hand this out for me?” Oikawa asked, handing over a stack of paper into his hands without even looking up from his computer. (Name) scrunched up his lips into a snarl but hummed, turning over to walk away when Oikawa grabbed his tail.
(Name) stopped and turned back to look at him but only got a mischievous smirk from Oikawa as he let go. His tail swished angrily as he huffed and stomped away to hand out the papers. What was so fun about his tail anyway?
It was similar to a regular cat! He couldn’t just get a cat if he liked touching tails so much?
The rest of the work for Oikawa was surprisingly easy. He felt as if his workload had lessen actually. Sharing an office with Oikawa felt weird though. He had to sit on the chair across from Oikawa, effectively sharing the desk.
It was a large desk so they weren’t cramped but it still felt a bit weird. But he wouldn’t complain. Oikawa never spoke to him during his job unless necessary. He guessed the only thing that truly bothered him about Oikawa was the tail touching.
At least he didn’t have to worry about people stepping on it to though. He was free to let it move around. But he still sometimes had the urge to bite on it again. It had become a habit at this point.
“What species are you?” Oikawa suddenly asked, not looking up from his paperwork.
(Name) blinked. His ears twitched. Most people just knew by looking at him. “A snow leopard.”
“Is that why your hair is white?”
“Yes.”
Oikawa glanced up at him, as if he was trying to study (Name) before a smirk appeared on his lips.
“Has anyone ever played with your tail before?”
“I…”
“Leave him alone, Shittykawa.”
Iwaizumi was in the office. When did he get there? (Name) watched as Oikawa pouted, a look that actually looked cute on him before turning on his blank face. He guessed it was his work default setting. Iwaizumi began speaking to Oikawa about something (Name) didn’t care about so he tuned them out.
His tail curled around in the air as he finished his work much earlier than expected. He was bored. Oikawa was still speaking to Iwaizumi about something so (Name) decided to bring his tail up to his mouth and lightly bite on it, his ears twitching in delight.
“Have a good day, Hiragi.” Iwaizumi suddenly said, walking away to leave.
“What about me? Where’s my goodbye?” Oikawa whined.
“Go fuck yourself.”
The door slammed shut behind Iwaizumi as (Name) wanted to laugh. He was glad his tail was in his mouth at the moment so he muffled it easily. (Name) glanced over at Oikawa and paused when he saw the odd look he was giving him.
Oikawa looked shocked at the sight in front of him. What? Had he never seen a cat hold it’s own tail before? Possibly not a hybrid, (Name) thought to himself as he pulled his tail away from his mouth. He forced a small smile and got back to staring at his computer.
He wanted to go home.
What he didn’t notice was the smirk on Oikawa’s lips.
He was liking this hybrid more and more each day.
(Name) placed down the coffee on Oikawa’s side of the desk, tired of doing the same morning task everyday for almost a month now. But the pay was too good to complain to anyone. Oikawa didn’t even say thank you to him anymore.
When he turned to go back to his side, Oikawa grabbed his tail. And it wasn’t a usual grasp. No, he fucking tugged it. Harshly.
(Name) had always hated how sensitive his tail was to every touch. He didn’t screech. He didn’t yell or howl in pain.
No, he fucking moaned. His back arched as he gripped at the desk beside him. It was silent after his pitiful moan. Oikawa’s hand was still holding his tail while it wiggled to get away.
(Name) wanted to kill himself.
Maybe he should quit.
“Sorry…” Oikawa muttered, releasing his tail.
“It’s fine…” (Name) excuses himself to the toilet. He never wanted to wake up ever again.
It certainly didn’t help that after that, Oikawa didn’t stop touching his tail. No, it seemed like he wanted to get the same reaction that he got he first time. At first, (Name) skillfully dodged most of this.
But there was still a few times Oikawa grabbed it right before he could move it and tug it, earning a whine or gasp from (Name) each time. It also bothered (Name) that he looked forward to it each day.
He couldn’t exactly pull his own tail. His body sent signals in his head that it would hurt and not be pleasurable whenever he tried during masturbation but Oikawa proved it wrong.
(Name) decided that if Oikawa was going to act like this but not do anything further, he might as well try to fuck him. He could always find a new job. Dick was more important.
He just needed some tips.
And he knew just who to ask.
“I’m so disgusted you’re speaking to me about that man.”
“I’m so sorry, Iwaizumi-San! But you have to help me! It’s a…. Hybrid! Thing, y’know? My inner (?) animal is bonded to him now…”
(Name) was spitting out some bullshit but his pouty frown made Iwaizumi not kick him out as soon as he mentioned sex.
“Well, he doesn’t have a fetish for hybrids. He’s just asking weird with you. He just said you were cute last time I asked. Honestly, just ask him.”
“Won’t it be inappropriate?”
“It’s inappropriate to talk to me about this stuff. Shittykawa is also inappropriate to touch your tail. Also your coworkers. But he’s too fucking lazy to enforce rules so I guess they don’t matter.”
(Name) blinked. Oh, he didn’t know it was inappropriate for someone to touch an hybrid’s tail or ears. It made sense….
Yeah, in a more regulated company Bokuto and literally everyone else would’ve been fired.
“Oh, well, thank you.”
“Just have sex when everyone has left, please. I don’t want to hear Lazykawa’s moans.”
(Name) wondered how many nicknames Iwaizumi had for him.
But he now had a plan. Just ask for sex. Oikawa couldn’t say no. He was obviously mildly interested if he kept trying to make him moan.
(Name) wondered how he should execute the plan, however. Since it seemed during the work day, Oikawa ignored him the entire time. Only two times did he look at him and one was to tell him he had a stain on his shirt. The other was to ask for a snack from the vending machine.
It reached around 6 pm, the time most people had left on a Friday night. He was supposed to be leaving now, suggested by Oikawa’s stare at him from time to time. His tail swished around as he closed his laptop, wanting to fake getting ready to leave.
He yawned, as his tail reached over and flicked at Oikawa’s glasses. Oikawa looked up from his computer, a confused look on his face. (Name) grinned, curling his tail around his glasses and pulling it off his face.
“Oikawa-San, you seem to obsess over my tail.”
Oikawa closed his laptop and stood up from his seat. He towered over (Name), a grin on his face.
“It’s a cute tail, Hiragi.”
(Name) placed the glasses on the desk and walked over to Oikawa’s side. “Oikawa… do you want to see me…”
“See you?”
“See on your desk, naked?”
(Name) felt himself cringe a bit at his words but he knew it worked at the smirk Oikawa gave him. He got him so easily. His tail reached up to wrap around Oikawa’s neck and smirked.
“My tail looks so good around your neck.”
“How does my hand feel around your tail, baby?”
(Name) squirmed at the tug of his tail. He was fully naked at the bottom with only his dress shirt on. His tie used to bound his hands together which left him unable to do much. He could take it, it wasn’t too tight but it felt nice to have them.
Oikawa was way more aggressive than he had imagined. After his little comment, he had pushed him to lay down face first into the desk. Swiftly pulling down his pants and underwear to get a good look at his ass. His ass was something Oikawa had only seen through pants that hardly captured the look bare.
He massaged them before delivering two quick slaps to them, earning a gasp from (Name). Oikawa was taking his sweet time with giving (Name) any sense of penetration. It was as if he wanted him to beg for it.
Oikawa tightened his grip around (Name)’s tail and pulled once more, enjoying the whine from the small man beneath him. His body was much larger compared to the hybrid’s, covering it with ease whenever he leaned down.
He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss on (Name)’s bubble butt, enjoying the giggle that left his lips. (Name) grunted when he felt Oikawa bite down on his butt, using a free hand to massage his left cheek.
Oikawa had thought only female hybrids would have self lubrication. So he pulled out a bottle of lube from his desk drawer, he had masturbated in here once. But to his shock, (Name) was leaking slick.
“You have slick?” Oikawa asked, a look of awe on his face.
(Name) blushed in embarrassment. “We can all produce slick… you can just fuck me, my body can handle it.”
“Hm, really? Then realistically, I could grab you whenever I wanted during work and just fuck you?”
“Yes…”
“We should add that to your contract. You’re a personal assistant for a reason, let’s add sex to the list,” Oikawa joked but (Name) couldn’t hate the idea.
It sounded sexy to think about entering Oikawa’s office and being told to cockwarm him during the day. (Name) mewled at the thought as Oikawa slipped in two fingers easily, he stretched his hole a bit to get him ready. Whenever his fingers went close to his prostate, Oikawa only grazed it.
“Oikawa… c’mon… fuck me.” (Name) whined, tail twitching in Oikawa’s hand.
“Want me to pump me full with my cum? That’s what you hybrid’s love, yeah? To be stuffed full.”
(Name) nodded. “I wanna see you though…”
Oikawa hummed as he flipped (Name) to lay on his back. He pulled down his pants and his cock was free to the cold air. (Name) grinned as he watched Oikawa pull at his tie, loosening it. His hair was still slicked back as the light from the sunset shined behind him.
(Name)’s tail curled as Oikawa rubbed his cock against his slick covered hole. He waited with a baited breath, his more animalistic side mewling at the chance of getting breed.
It took two more fake outs until Oikawa slammed his cock inside (Name). He gripped his waist and held him still as started out with a fast pace. (Name) cried out, legs wrapping around Oikawa’s waist.
(Name) moved his tail to his mouth to muffle his moans. Sure, most workers would’ve been gone by now but you never know those weirdos who worked unpaid overtime. Oikawa seemed to into it as he somehow managed to get faster. His cock continuous brushed against his prostate, causing (Name) to arch his back.
His ass was dripping with slick, allowing Oikawa to easily fuck him. The sound of squelching, skin slapping together, and the muffled cries from (Name) filled the office. (Name) was mainly surprised the desk could hold his weight with how fast and harsh Oikawa was thrusting inside of him.
It was squeaking with each thrust, making (Name) worried it would’ve break beneath him.
“(Name)…” Oikawa grunted.
(Name) hummed. He was too far gone to notice him saying his first name. The feeling of Oikawa’s cock inside him was dumbing him down.
“(Name), this isn’t a one time thing, I hope you know that…” Oikawa grabbed his legs and pushed them to rest near his head. (Name) felt himself cry at the new position. The burn of being stretched out like this as well as Oikawa’s cock reaching in even deeper.
He felt close.
(Name) removed his tail from his mouth and used it to wrap around Oikawa’s neck to pull him down for a kiss. Oikawa kissed him back as his thrusting began to become inconsistent. He was also close.
“Inside…” (Name) mewled when Oikawa pulled away from the kiss. He couldn’t get pregnant. Not by a male human but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t like the feeling of cum inside of him.
“You think it’ll take? Some cute little snow leopards.”
(Name) moaned. He wanted that badly.
It took two more thrusts before Oikawa pushed in deep inside to have his orgasm. (Name) was right after him, crying out before moving his tail to muffle it.
Oikawa’s previously slicked back hair was out and wild, covering half of his face as he grinned at (Name). (Name) purred at the sight of him and wrapped his tail around his waist.
Maybe he shouldn’t leave his job so quickly.
“If you guys are done… I’ll just slid the paperwork underneath the door,” the sound of paper sliding from the floor was heard.
The voice was Ushijima.
“Congrats on your new relationship.” Ushijima said before leaving.
Actually, maybe he should find a new job.

Japan’s Supreme Court on Monday dismissed Okinawa’s rejection of a central government plan to build U.S. Marine Corps runways on the island and ordered the prefecture to approve it despite protests by locals who oppose the American troops’ presence. Monday’s ruling upheld a high court ruling in March that the central government’s plan and its instruction for Okinawa’s approval are valid. It will move forward the suspended construction at a time Okinawa’s strategic role is seen increasingly important for the Japan-U.S. military alliance in the face of growing tensions with China. Japan’s central government began the reclamation work at the Henoko area on the eastern coast of Okinawa’s main island in 2018 to pave the way for the relocation of the Marine Corps Futenma air station from a crowded neighborhood on the island. The government later found out about 70% of the reclamation site is on soft ground, and submitted a revision to the original plan with additional land improvement. The Okinawa prefectural government rejected the revision as insufficient and suspended the reclamation work. The ground improvement plan requires tens of thousands of pillars and massive amounts of soil, which opponents say would damage the environment. Okinawa Gov. Denny Tamaki has called for a significant reduction of the U.S. military in Okinawa, the immediate closure of the Futenma base and the scrapping of the base construction in Henoko. Tamaki said said he will not back down and continue with the demands despite the ruling. The Okinawa government will carefully examine the ruling to decide on a next step, he added. “The ruling is extremely disappointing because we had expected a fair and neutral judgement based on respect for the local government autonomy,” Tamaki told a news conference. The ruling nullifies an independent municipal decision and could even disregard their constitutional right to local autonomy, Tamaki said. “It deeply concerns me.” The Japanese and U.S. governments initially agreed in 1996 to close the Futenma air station, a year after the rape of a schoolgirl by three U.S. military personnel led to a massive anti-base movement. But persistent protests and lawsuits between Okinawa and Tokyo have held up the plan for nearly 30 years. Tokyo and Washington say the relocation within Okinawa, instead of moving it elsewhere as demanded by many Okinawans, is the only solution. Okinawa, which accounts for only 0.6% of Japanese land, is burdened with the majority of the 50,000 American troops based in the country under a bilateral security pact, and 70% of U.S. military facilities are in Okinawa. The Japanese government in recent years has increasingly stepped up its own defenses to deal with China’s growing assertiveness, triggering fear among Okinawan residents that they will be the first to be embroiled in a potential conflict. Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno welcomed the ruling and said the government hopes to achieve the complete reversion to Japan of the Futenma airfield and relieve Okinawa of the burden of shouldering U.S. military bases while providing a thorough explanation to the local community.

Mankai Stage Summer 2022
Aaaaah, this is a review that is long overdue, and since it’s been a while since I’ve watched it, I won’t even be able to do it justice. But life got away from me, so I haven’t really been active in the Tumblr and A3/Mankai Stage community for a while, and I miss it so much!!! And I haven’t had much time to translate, so Autumn is taking longer than it should, and apologies to everyone who’s been waiting!
But alas, onto the review.
First of all, I am continually amazed by how the casting is just so... PERFECT!!! The actor for Kumon, is just, so perfectly Kumon.
The performance opens with Kumon having an anxiety attack. And then as the lights dim, we transition to a very different opening scene.
The scene opens with Kumon’s point of view, as he’s recording all the happenings that’s going on backstage while Natsugumi is performing Water Me. And I don’t know if I can explain this scene well, but it’s just. So well done. It’s so creative how they did this and I absolutely adore it! You can see the actors both backstage and onstage, and it must’ve taken a lot of coordination to be able to pull that off.
Then a rewind in time happens, where we first see Kumon get introduced to the company, saying he wants to join Akigumi. Everything that happens after pretty much follows the story.
And gahhh, I wish I wrote this review sooner, because I can’t remember much of it, so I might just rewrite this review when I watch it again once it comes out on DVD.
But anyway, I stinking looove the relationship between the Hyodo-Sakisaka cousins!!! It’s so beautiful to finally be able to see it on stage!
One of my favorite scenes has got to be Misumi introducing his room to his new roommate. The song was very cute, and just the staging for it is phenomenal. It’s so different from their previous stages, that I’m still thrown off, but still, it’s so good!
Azami also got introduced, and omfggg... He’s so perfect as Azami too! And it was also funny to watch the troupe realize that he’s super influenced by Sakyo. He and Kumon just become such cute friends.
Also, I’m really surprised by how big this franchise has gone. In their other stages, they would only hire one extra (Mizuno, Ryou, Madoka) that wasn’t really part of the main reoccurring cast (Matsukawa, Yuzo). But here we had both Igawa (Tenma’s manager) and Yamaguchi (Kumon’s club friend). But then again, in Spring, Masumi’s dad had his secretary too, and he had a speaking role as well. Oh geez, look how much this franchise has grown.
Also, another favorite scene of my hands down, has got to be Natsugumi dressing up as girls to cheer Kumon up! Kazunari went all out with the trends, throwing the gyaru peace sign here and there, lol. And then JUZA!!! Juza tries so hard to act like a girl, and it’s just so awkward, and clumsy and so hilarious!!! I died, lololol. It was soooo cute too.
The play portion was also very cute. Yuki was super adorable as usual. But to be honest, it’s not my favorite play from the game, probably because I’m not really that much of a sports person. But to my memory, the stage’s play was pretty faithful to the play in the game.
Overall, I enjoyed this play very very much. I love Kumon, and I love his story, since I relate to crippling anxiety so much. And I just think Mankai Stage did my baby justice, just like usual.

Chapter 2/?
“Binary code is a series of zeroes and ones strung together in a specific sequence. On paper, it’s useless. Annoying. Worthless. But put that same string of zeroes and ones into a computer, and suddenly it’s a language far more complex than the human mind can comprehend. I was the same way. The world decided I wasn’t good enough in the physical plane, so I went digital. That’s why I chose the name Binary. And you should be very,” He smirks at the underground hero on the screen, “Very afraid of the reach I have here. Aizawa Shouta.”

Aizawa Shouta is having an average patrol night. Nothing too out of the ordinary has happened so far. He honestly thinks it’s going to go smoothly enough that he’ll be able to leave on time. Which is why he knows he jinxed himself when he walks into the police headquarters and Tsukauchi comes rushing up to him. That usually means a case but the amount of urgency lining the man’s face is certainly concerning. “We may have a problem,” is the first thing the detective says to him when he approaches.
Oh fucking hell… Can’t he have just one night?
He sighs out deeply through his nose but obediently follows Tsukauchi to his office without complaint. As soon as the door closes, he asks, “What’s going on? Has something happened?”
The detective walks over to sit at his desk, a box sitting open on top of it, "This box was sitting outside of the front entrance last night after a freak power outage occurred that was about five blocks wide all around headquarters. The secretary on duty thought that maybe it had just been dropped by the postal service and kicked into the open by someone passing by in the sudden darkness, so she brought it in. It was addressed to me."
"Okay, and?" He prompts.
"The contents were… somewhat shocking," Tsukauchi holds out a piece of paper. He takes it and looks at the contents on it.
[Thought you could use this, detective. Try not to wait too long to follow up on it. I don't know how long it'll be before this info isn't valid anymore. Have fun! - With love, from Binary]
"Who's Binary?" He asks.
"Don't know. Never had any contact with them before this. That's not what concerns us, concerns me, though." He turns to his computer and types at the keys on the keyboard. He also clicks on something before continuing, "In the box along with the note was a flash drive. The content in the drive was especially interesting to us." The underground hero raises an eyebrow as Tsukauchi motions him around the desk. Aizawa rounds the desk, leaning against the top of it with one hand to look at the screen of the detective’s computer. His eyes slowly widened at the contents, "Is that-?"
"The Yamaguchi Brothers and their new syndicate? Yep. One of our tech guys verified that the videos and photos are legit and the flash drive it came on wasn't bugged or filled with viruses. It contains their hideout location with visible landmarks around plus coordinates, some photos of some of the crimes they've recently committed, and even photos of their cars license plates along with who owns them. There's also a list of identities and known quirks amongst the group as well as the best heroes to bring to apprehend them. This ‘Binary’ managed to solve one of our highest profile cases in the course of a night as well as put together a practically full proof plan to apprehend them."
"And all of it is legit? Every single piece? Nothing’s been tampered with at all?" When the detective hums an affirmative, Aizawa furrows his brows, "Well that's too convenient… anyone spotted after the box was left?"
"Nope. Just some kid waiting for his mom to pick him up after gymnastics class apparently. Secretary on duty said she felt bad for him because apparently his mom couldn't come get him and he had to walk alone in the dark. Said he was pretty freaked out about it but got embarrassed when he noticed her. Also," Tsukauchi reaches over and grabs something off his desk. He passes it to Aizawa, "We did a bit of digging and found that the power outage that occured? It was planned. Something pinged in the system at the same time that the power went out. It was gone by the time the power was back on."
"Sounds like a hacker then. So… Whoever Binary is, they found out information on one of our most dangerous criminal groups, planned a - however large wide five blocks is on either side of the station - power outage, and then, under the cover of that darkness, placed down a box of sensitive information addressed to you specifically so that the police would get it?" He reads over the report from the power company, noting that the foreign intrusion on the power grid was only there long enough to spot it but not track or trace. Binary wasn't just good at what they did, they were phenomenal at it. Probably had years of practice under their belt.
Tsukauchi nods, "Seems like it. Can't confirm if it's a hacker with a quirk for it though. Could possibly be someone with an intelligence one that picked up hacking as a form of entertainment for themselves."
"Can't confirm anything at all until we can find an identity for them, right?"
"Correct. I was also questioning myself as to why me," the detective leans back in his chair.
"Why you? What do you mean?"
"Yeah well... Why address the box to me? Was there a reason? Is it random? Should we expect the MO of them to be that they'll always contact me somehow? Either via a box or otherwise? Or will it go to anyone in the station?" Tsukauchi questions.
"And what other information will they be sending? Will it all be major crime group info like this or will info on petty crimes or even info on A list villains come through as well?" Aizawa adds, puzzle pieces appearing in his mind but none of them lining up with each other.
Tsukauchi grins up at him, "See, this is why I wanted to consult you and ask if you wanted this case! Do you want it by the way?"
Aizawa sighs as if being put out, “Yeah, I’ll take it. I’m sure I can find out who they are eventually. Maybe get a meeting with them and talk them out of their hacker ways.”
“Thanks Eraser!” The grin then drops from his face into a frown, "What about what we do when we find who this is?"
"Don't know. Offer them a job as a tech analyst for the police?" Aizawa gestures to the monitor with his hand, "This is good info, after all. Especially for a freelance hacker."
"Haha…" The false laugh is accompanied by a deadpan stare. Tsukauchi sighs deeply before shrugging, "Guess we'll just have to wait and figure it out when we catch them. I don’t think a job will be an option though. I don’t know if jail time would be either though. Maybe just a fine for hacking into the power grid and traffic cameras? Oh well, I’d better get started on the Yamaguchi Brother’s arrest plan."
Tsukauchi turns back to his desk, picking up his phone to start coordinating the necessary heroes for the Yamaguchi Brothers’ case. Aizawa mentally catalogs all of the evidence about Binary that they've already collected. He’ll get a physical copy anyway but it’s good to commit it to memory in case he needs to recall it at any point while he’s investigating. He moves his gaze down to the note in his hand and he glares at Binary's name. They better watch out because Aizawa’s about to start hunting them down.
______________________________________________________________
Izuku lets out a snort as he comes awake suddenly, shooting up from where he was slouched against the coffee table. Goosebumps ripple all along his body. "What the fuck…" he mutters to himself, looking around for any kind of danger. His brows furrowed as he didn't see anything immediately around him that was wrong, "... Am I missing something? Did I forget to do something? … Did I forget to do my English essay that's due tomorrow?!"
He looks down and thinks. Then pouts to himself, "No wait. I did it back when it was first assigned at the beginning of the year… I even went three pages over the required limit…" He shrugs dismissively after thinking about it a bit more, "Eh what the hell ever. I'm going to actual bed this time." He stands up, grabbing his phone.
"CATRA, get the lights please," he calls out in a yawn as he slinks into his room. The lights to the apartment cut off behind him with a small meow sounding after he closed the door to his bedroom.

First criminal trial of a front company of the Unification Church of Japan to be held – for doing ‘Spiritual Sales’
September 1, 2009 (Tuesday)  [Society]  Edition B (14)
The first criminal trial (“Shinsei” case) to judge spiritual sales will be held at the Tokyo District Court on the 10th. The defendants are Shinsei, a limited company that sells seals, and two executives. It is a front group of the Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity (Unification Association). The Unification Church’s method is to hide their true identities and approach people. Health foods, Buddhist altar fittings, jewelry stores, and even volunteers. How far can the court dig into that scheme? (Mutsuo Kakita)
“Shinsei” is mainly active around JR Shibuya Station. He called out to passers-by, invited them to his office under the guise of a fortune telling, and threatened them by saying, “You are at a turning point,” or “You have a connection with your ancestors, and you will be unhappy if you continue like this.” I was made to buy a set of 3 for 160,000 to 1,200,000 yen.
Tumblr media
There are cases where people say, “That’s God’s advice. You have no choice but to donate,” when you lose your key. Since 2000, it is believed that about 2,000 cases and 670 million yen have been earned.
The investigation also revealed that Shinsei was the collection department of the Unification Association, and that the president, Naoki Tanaka, reported business to the cult leaders.
“Shinsei” is a branch organization of a cult called a sales company. Under the headquarters of the Unification Association of Japan (Shoto, Shibuya-ku), there are “regions” that divide the country into more than 10 regions. “Shinsei” belongs to the “South Tokyo Parish”.
Tumblr media
▲ National Federation of Bar Associations called for “the clarification of the full extent of the incident” at a press conference held on July 28.
The Nationwide Spiritual Sales Countermeasures Lawyers Liaison Association (National Federation of Lawyers) has over 240 sales companies nationwide through damage consultations. Seals, medicines, jewelry, paintings, Japanese clothes, and many other signboards, all of which are disguised (dummy) organizations of the Unification Association. Even if the products we deal with at the entrance are different, from there onwards we will follow the same course as Shinsei.
So far, criminal cases of spiritual sales have been limited to informal fines. This is the first time he has been tried in public court. In order to avoid clarification of the organized nature of the crime and the flow of money, the defendant’s side seems to be aiming to admit all the facts of the indictment and bring it to an early conclusion. Attorney Hiroshi Yamaguchi, secretary-general of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations, points out, “It is the responsibility of the judiciary to clarify the background of the case.”
________________________ The “Shinsei” Incident In June, the Public Security Department of the Metropolitan Police Department searched the Tokai Kyokai Shibuya Church (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) and the Gotokuji Church (Setagaya Ward), etc., and found the president Naoki Tanaka, director Junichiro Furusawa, and a female salesperson of the seal sales company Shinsei. Three people were arrested on suspicion of violating the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (intimidation, embarrassment). In July, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office indicted both Tanaka and Furusawa as Shinsei. The remaining three have been sentenced to fines.

Part ②
The true aim is “faith” education
There is compelling physical evidence that proves that the spiritual sales of the defendants Naoki Tanaka, who is responsible for the seal sales “Shinsei”, are organized activities of the Unification Association, and what their real intentions are.
From the end of 2002 to around January 2003, I took notes from an internal study session held at the East Tokyo District of the Unification Church. Obtained by Kinkoku Spiritual Sales Attorney Association (National Federation of Bar Associations).
Approximately 30 young women (middle-aged female believers) from Edogawa Church in Tokyo attended. The lecturer was defendant Tanaka. Defendant Tanaka belongs to the South Tokyo Parish, which has jurisdiction over Shibuya Ward and other districts. Kim Kokubenren believes that the reason why he was a lecturer in the East Tokyo Diocese was that his achievements in the “Shinsei” were highly evaluated.
Tumblr media
According to the notes from the lecture, Tanaka emphasized that “before we sell (seals), we are religious people and evangelists.” It is “seed planting” that makes people buy seals, and teaches that “how to plant good seeds, and if you plant seeds of good motives, faith education. There is no need for difficult things.”
Grab a person’s heart with a fate appraisal, make them buy something, and put them in a video center (often disguised as a power lecture center), a brainwashing educational facility. They are made to make donations under various pretexts, experience the restoration of their husbands (making their husbands join the faith), the restoration of all things, the blessing, and so on, and are transferred to the “frontline forces”. This is a curriculum that turns spiritual sales “victims” into new “perpetrators.”
The “restoration of all things” that appears in the curriculum is an important doctrine of the Unification Church. The Spiritual sales is also rationalized in that any method can be an act of salvation because it “returns” property that belongs to Satan (devil = ordinary citizens) to the original owner, God (ie Reverend Sun Myung Moon).
Similarly, “blessing” refers to group marriages (mass weddings) that symbolize “sex” with the guru. Married people will be sent to the “ready-made blessing”.
Spiritual sales are “activities to restore all things”, and “part of religious activities or missionary activities” (September 1999, Hiroshima High Court Okayama Branch) have given such judgments many times.
“The ‘Shinsei’ who was indicted was not that conspicuous,” said Hiroshi Yamaguchi, a lawyer at the Kim Guo Bar Association. In 2008, 43.55 million yen was reported to the National Federation of Bar Associations, and in June of 2009, 36.73 million yen had already reached 36.73 million yen at sales companies in Tokyo alone, including Shinsei.

Infiltrating civil society in disguise
The Unification Association is a “disguised (dummy) group”. Camouflage is not limited to sales companies (stores) of spiritual sales. They are infiltrating civil society under various disguises.
“Tanpopo”. We are a volunteer circle in Adachi Ward, Tokyo. Fundraising activities under the guise of supporting elementary school students in China and the Philippines, cleaning up the Arakawa riverbed, and cooperation with festivals and events in the ward. Some ward council members participate in the activity.
The office of “Tanpopo” is located in an apartment in Senju, the same district. The structure allows access to the 2nd floor and the 1st basement floor from the outside stairs, and on the 2nd floor is the Unification Church “Adachi Church”. The salon-style basement floor is a brainwashing educational facility called a video center. There are also related facilities on the 3rd and 10th floors.
Adachi Church is the base of the North Tokyo Diocese. There is a women’s section, a youth section, and a sales company, and “Tanpopo” is one of them.
“I’ve even received a letter of appreciation from the organizers of the event in which Tanpopo cooperated,” said a woman who joined the church in 2004 and was a member of the church’s commuter organization “Bigin” until she left the church in 2006.
160 people belong to “Bigin”, which means that they continue to work in the Unification Association while living a citizen life even after joining the faith. It seems that there were beauticians, nursery teachers, doctors, nurses, and teachers.
“Please show me your palm for a reading,” solicited on the street. Participated in local festivals under the name of “True Family Federation”. It is said that she once stood at the station as a campaigner for the Liberal Democratic Party and Democratic Party candidates in elections.
Holding a jewelry exhibition and a kimono exhibition in cooperation with a spiritual sales company. It seems that the jewelry exhibition has achieved the sales target of 7 million yen.
General youth and housewives groups who saw the event information sometimes joined the “Tanpopo” volunteer activities. One of my activities was to expand my sympathy with these people and invite them to seminars held by the Unification Association.
National organizations disguised as volunteers are “Nonohanakai” and “Shinzen.” A few people sleep in a van and go door-to-door to sell delicacies and donate fakes. According to people involved, daily sales are around 40,000 to 50,000 yen. It seems that it will be 1 million yen per month for one person.
The Principle Study Group (CARP), which is active in the name of a university circle, the Women’s Federation for World Peace, the International Relief and Friendship Foundation, the Little Angels, and the Universal Ballet... They are all camouflage organizations of the Unification Church.

Part ④
“Fate” that attracts believers
“Back talk”. It is a talk manual that draws the target person into spiritual sales and further tailors it to a believer. Also known as “fate talk”.
“First, we will make you feel the “spirit world” in the video center. Spiritual shows on TV can also be props. On top of that, the talk is as follows.
▽ Life consists of life in the womb in the mother’s body, life on earth, and life in the spirit world that continues forever. Life on earth around 80 years is a preparation period for going to the spirit world.
▽ The spirit world has heaven, intermediate spirit world, and hell, and which spirit world you go to depends on how you live on earth. Heaven means “the country of two,” and “couples who have completed true love” (those who have participated in a mass marriage under Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han) can go there on earth.
▽ Those who have gone to hell cannot go to the upper spirit world on their own. This is because “sins committed on earth must be atoned for on earth,” and the spirits of hell “seek salvation from their descendants on earth.”
If you go back two or three generations, you have many ancestors. If you do not accept the teachings of the Unification Church during your lifetime and release (rescue) the spirit world of your ancestors who went to hell, you and your family will be miserable. Buddhism’s “ancestor memorial service” is nothing more than comfort. Then a psychic from the Unification Church appears and tells them, “You, the tribal messiah, should offer all your blood, sweat, and tears to God (the holy Sun Myung Moon).”
The story is that believers who are in a state of mind control save their ancestors in hell, earnestly donate to avoid their own hell, and work hard at the spiritual sales.
The Unification Church will issue providences (instructions) for donations to believers under various pretexts.
A collection of Sun Myung Moon’s sermons, called the “scripture,” costs 30 million yen per volume. Getting them to buy this is also a task of “amnesty” to get God’s special permission.
In a civil lawsuit (Sapporo District Court) in which a former member sought compensation for damages, among the evidence submitted by the plaintiff, there is an internal document called “Seihon Aikoku Amnesty Course” (February 27-April 20, 2000).
As of April 14th, there are 11 “Sacred Book Victory Counts” in the three parishes of Hokkaido. According to the plaintiff’s attorney, Seiji Goji, this is the sales record. It is 330 million yen for 11 books.
The internal document “Significance of the Scriptures” reads as follows.
“This ‘40-Day Amnesty Course’ and the ‘Holy Book’ providence is that we must win even if we sell the entire Japanese archipelago.”

Damage of 1 trillion yen when it sprouts
In July, immediately after the prosecution of the “Shinsei” group, the National Network of Lawyers Against the Spiritual Sales (National Federation of Lawyers) established the “Spiritual Sales Code 110”. Four phones keep ringing. In three hours, 39 consultations were received, and the amount of damage was 200 million yen (including 26 cases of Unification Association, 170 million yen).
Attorney Hiroshi Yamaguchi said, “It was more than I expected. I was keenly aware of the amount of potential damage.”
In 2008, the National Network of Bar Associations compiled a total of 1510 cases of 3.7 billion yen in damage consultations nationwide. Since 1987, the total number of valve consolidation has reached 30,000 cases and amounted to 106 billion yen.
“This is the number of people who realized they had been deceived and brought in for advice.” It’s just the tip of the iceberg. What is the actual damage?
There is an internal document of the Unification Association dated May 1, 2007. This is a list of the amounts paid to the headquarters from 72 parishes nationwide on this day.
Nishi-Hiroshima parish was ranked first nationwide with 98 million yen. 76 million yen in West Tokyo, 67.8 million yen in Hyogo, and 2.6 million yen in the Iwate parish, which is the lowest. It is unknown how many days it took to collect this.
There is a statement submitted to the court by a man who joined in 1995 and left in 2007, as well as internal documents. Since 1998, he has been in charge of general affairs in a prefecture in Kyushu (one parish in the prefecture as a whole). He was in charge of distributing the amount of money instructed by the headquarters through the region (area headquarters) to the affiliated areas and transferring the collected money to the headquarters.
The remittance was made to a related building near the headquarters of the Unification Association, and the recipient name at the time was “○○ Bank Hideo Oyamada”. He served twice as chairman of the Japan Unification Association from 1994-95 and 2001-06. It is said that he once packed a bundle of 50 million yen in bills in a rucksack and carried it to headquarters.
Among the documents submitted to the court, there is a monthly summary table collected by this prefecture through donations and spiritual sales from 2004 to 2006. In 2004, 1,314 million yen was sent to headquarters. 1.2 billion yen in 2005, 770 million yen in 2006. According to another source, this prefecture’s remittance record is about one-fifth of all parishes. That’s the amount.
It’s been nearly 30 years since spiritual sales became a social problem. “Actual damage will exceed 1 trillion yen,” said Masaki Kito, a lawyer at the Zenkoku Barren. At a press conference ahead of his first criminal trial, he pointed out:
“It’s too late to investigate, but we have to stop the damage in the bud here. We’re at the stage where the government is responsible for neglecting it.”

I just can’t stop thinking about young adult! Yamaguchi who’s your boss’s new secretary, you become friends with him and notice piercing marks?scars?idk on his ears and corner lip. When you ask him why he isn’t wearing them he says it’s ‘cause he fears it would look unprofessional so you go on daydreaming out loud about how pretty he’d look with a lip piercing and helix. He blushes! Obviously, sweet shy yams is over the moon with your compliments so the next time you see him at work he’s wearing a black lobe piercing on each ear. You wonder if it’s because of what you’d said but decide against it and just compliment him and tell him how good he looks. A week later he’s wearing his helix piercing, the next one some rings are being incorporated into his outfit too and you can not stop showering him in compliments and he’s loving it, blushing furiously and feeling more confident every time you open your mouth. What does it for you is when he finally gathers the guts to put his lip ring on. You can’t stop staring at his mouth for a whole week and this time it’s you who’s got a burning face. Every time he comes into your office to talk about schedules and meetings all you can do is nod and try to play it cool until he leaves, praying and hoping he doesn’t catch on your shaky hands and quivering lip. But oh he does, he may be shy but not stupid and he’s feeling so powerful and flustered at the same time, not knowing if he should do something about it or keep it to himself, savoring every nervous chuckle and stuttered words he can get out of you.

“Can’t I just stay here with Tank?” you asked, nodding to the leather seat.
The leer grew one tooth wider. “Tank is going up with us and we both know you don’t like to be left alone.”
You crossed your arms over your belly and fixed him with a dubious stare. “What’s got you in such a good mood?”
All for One hummed. “You mean aside from the joy of seeing my wife com-”
Eyes bulging out of your skull, you slapped a hand over his vile mouth. Under your palm, you could feel the sharp grin pricking at your skin. Shigaraki reached up, taking your wrist in his hand. As he pulled you away from his face, a flash of tongue teased between his lips.
“I do love you, but you’re rather predictable.”
You wrinkled your nose and sneered at him.
With a tug, your husband pulled you from the back of the car. You flopped into his chest, face first in his buttons. All For One lifted you by the waist and set you back on wobbling legs. His arm squeezed you around the middle before he turned to the driver.
“Tank, I’ll need your help carrying a few things,” Shigaraki explained, walking you towards the elevator.
The sandy-haired man pulled his cap low over his eyes. “Of course, master.”
Inside the elevator, the smell of grease and oil permeated the muggy air. All For One kept his hand wrapped around you, forcing you to press your hip into the side of his thick leg. His hand rested across your belly, gently rolling over your bump. As he rubbed back and forth, cold goosebumps prickled across your arms. You looked up at your husband. His smile was still there, but the edges were strained.
“What are we picking up exactly?” you asked.
He tapped the button for the ninth floor and patted the side of your stomach. “Just some pre-birth presents from Yamaguchi-san.”
Your stomach flopped at the mention of that creep's name. “He couldn’t have sent them after the baby was born?”
Shigaraki snorted. “He likes to be first.”
As the flickering numbers climbed one by one, Tank stood in the far corner, his head buried deep in his hat. His shoulders were stiff as a wooden grave marker. He wiped a bead of sweat off his temple and plucked at his collar.
When the doors opened, your husband swept you forward into an empty greige hallway. A low pile, dark slate carpet was littered with small geometric patterns, woven into the tight-knit. The cheap plastic fibers crunched under your feet as you made your way towards a pair of doors at the south end of the building. All For One pulled you aside, allowing Tank to make his way past. He fumbled for a key in his pocket.
You looked around the vacant hall with an ever-deepening frown. “Did you rent the whole floor this time?”
Shigaraki patted your head. “My secretary complained about our neighbors at our previous location. This seemed like the simplest solution. She’s been worried about her wife lately and I couldn’t risk upsetting her further. After all, good help can be hard to find.”
Tank froze, his hand clamped around the door handle.
“Did something happen to her wife?” you asked.
Shigaraki smiled at you. “No, Minako is well but you know how Katsumi can be. Her job is to do all my worrying for me and, as always, she excels at it.” All at once, a light glowed in his pocket. He lifted his phone out and the theme to “The Hero of Justice” anime echoed in the hall. “Sorry, I have to take this.”
“Really?” you demanded.
He waved at you and took a few steps down the hall. “What was the verdict?”
You sighed and walked over to Tank. Leaning against the door frame, you pursed your lips and crossed your arms. Swallowing down the hot shame rising in your throat, you turned towards the only sane man in the room. “Tank I wanted applo-”
At the sight of your driver’s face, the words died in your throat. His eyes were lifeless and dull as he stared at All For One’s phone. Quivering arms wrapped around his elbows as he gritted his teeth tight. His skin was pale as a sheet. When you reached for his hand, it was clammy.
“Are you all right?”
Shigaraki cast a glance over his shoulder. Red eyes narrowed as a heinous, predatory grin sliced across his cheek. “Oh really? Confirmed then? I understand. I will handle it.” With one large finger, he swiped the conversation to a close. As strolled to your side, he looked the driver up and down.
The hairs on your arm prickled. You looked back and forth between the two men. “Is something going on?”
All For One smiled, ignoring the question. His unflinching gaze stayed fixed upon the driver. “Well Tank, aren’t you going to open it?”

I heard my name being called. I opened my eyes and sat up. Kiyoko was standing at the other end of the bath. “Someone is looking for you.”
“Oh. It must be the Yachi family.”
I stood up and got dressed. Kiyoko lead me to the parlor where the father and daughter are already seated on the couch. Ennoshita was already in the room.
“Kiyoko, could you call Yamaguchi? I need him for this one.” I sat down. “Thank you for taking the time Mr. Yachi.” I said as I fixed myself. “Is Mrs. Yachi, okay?”
“She is. Thank you for taking care of the situation.” He bowed.
“I actually didn’t call you on purpose in case you didn’t want to go through with what I said.”
“About that... I actually--”
“Hold that thought.” I stopped him. Silence reigned over the room until Yamaguchi came in. “Go on.”
“I’ll sell the company.” He immediately started. “But only under your name.”
“Oh.” My eyes widened at his request. “Why? I said I have ulterior motives and you still want a deal to come through?”
“I-” He choked. “If I’m giving up my company I want to give it to someone I could trust.”
I propped my head and closed my eyes to think. “I’m not good with business things though. I might make things worse if I buy the company without thinking.”
“Uh-uhm. Per-perhaps I can-I can be of help-of help?" I looked at Ms Yachi. She flinched.
“Mr Ennoshita, can that be granted?”
“She can be your secretary. She’ll be under Kiyoko.”
“That could work.” I looked at Mr Yachi. “What per cent of shares do you want to have left?”
“Wha-What?”
“Is 15 per cent okay? I think 18 is the highest percentage that I could leave out.”
“Eightee- eighteen? Shares?”
“You need to have something left, right? So you could buy back your company eventually.”
“Eighteen... would be... would be nice...”
“Ms Yachi, don’t you have any conditions? You do know what you’re offering, right?”
“I-- Ye-yes...”
“Working for someone involved in the crime ring is dangerous.”
“I understand... But” - she gripped her shirt where her heart lies - “after what you did for my family I realized...” She looked at me with conviction. “I want to protect my family too!”
I grinned. “I see. You could stay here for a while so you could see if you really want to continue with your offer.” I stood up. “I need to tell my brother about this. If he gives us the green light, the contracts might take a while since Yamaguchi isn’t really under me. We’ll give you a call. Do you need anything else?”
“N-no.” Mr Yachi stood up as well. “Hitoka, stay safe, okay?” He held her hand and smiled. Ms Yachi nodded to him and smiled too.
Kiyoko came in. “Daichi wants everyone in the conference room.”
“Ah. Kiyoko can you ask someone to escort Mr Yachi home?”
“Yes. Mr Yachi.” Kiyoko called and Mr Yachi followed her out.
“Ms Yachi, you’ll be shadowing me for today.” We walked to the conference room. I sat down and Yachi stood beside me.
“Where were you last night?” Nii-san immediately asked.
“Looking for a job.”
“Ennoshita?” He looked towards Ennoshita.
Ennoshita smiled. “She did mention that when she talked to the culprit.”
“Why were you out the whole night then?”
“We solved the case for all the theft and vandalism. The culprit confessed. I helped him out now he wants to sell his company to me.”
“What did you all do?” He asked and looked at the men that I went out with last night. Fear was painted in their expression.
“We retrieved the money from a gang and reunited a family.” Ennoshita answered for them.
“On that note.” I pointed to Yachi. “She’s the daughter of that man. She’s here on a trial run for a job.” I looked at her and gestured for her to introduce herself.
“I-I’m Yachi Hitoka. Tha-thank you for your hos-hospitality.”
“She’s sticking with me or Kiyoko until we finish making the contracts.”
“Contracts?”
“Mr Yachi personally requested that only she buy the company from him.”
“I left out 18 per cent of the stocks so he has a chance to buy back his own company if he wishes.” Nii-san narrowed his eyes at me. “Nii-san, think about it. The economy is shit right now, it’s the perfect” - I gestured to emphasize the word - “time to buy something this big and this is not just some company. It’s Date Technical Incorporated.”
His face softened and the rest that didn’t know were shocked.
“Sugar, I think we should take it.” Suga put his hand over Nii-san’s as he looked at him.
“What do you plan to do with their company?”
“We can have the employees protect the neighbourhood they live in. I know, we’re all understaffed regarding the protection of our territory. Also, self-explanatory, they’re a construction and manufacturing company.”
Nii-san propped his head. “I thought you don’t want to be a part of this.”
“Nii-san, you know how I despise being useless more than anything.” I dropped any emotion on my face and looked at him.
He sighed. “Yamaguchi, make sure you consult Ennoshita and Kiyoko before finalizing the contracts.”
“Ye-yes, sir.”
“I also want a report on what you guys did last night.”
Nii-san dismissed us all. As I walk, I felt my phone vibrate. I took it out and saw a heartfelt message from a familiar person. Sadness and anger welled up in my chest.
“Ms Yachi.”
“You-you can call me Hitoka. We- we’re at the same-same age anyway, right?”
“Okay.” I smiled. “Is it okay if I leave you with Kiyoko for a while? I need to train.”
“Ye-yes.”
We got in my room and I got into a change of clothes. As we were going out, Kiyoko was passing by. “Oh. Kiyoko, can Hitoka stay with you for a while? I need to train.”
Kiyoko smiled. “Sure. Come with me, Hitoka.”
I made my way towards the gym. I saw Kageyama and Hinata training as well. They both greeted me. I raised my hand as reciprocation. I walked up to them.
“I haven’t said my praise to you guys. You guys are good.”
They said thank you.
“How did you guys meet?”
“Someone put out an open contract. I was about to get the kill, but this man stole my kill with a snipe.” Hinata said through gritted teeth as he glared at Kageyama.
“Why did you want to join the Black Crows?”
“I joined because I wanted to meet one of their best hitmen.” Hinata admitted.
“I joined because I wanted to work under the previous head.”
“You guys have no plans on leaving?” They both shook their heads. I chuckled. Why would you put your life on the line for some family? “I’ll leave you guys be.” I walked to one of the machines and started my sets.
I lost my focus and just droned on doing my sets until I don’t want to anymore. Tanaka barged in.
“Hey! It’s dinner time! Get your asses--” He noticed me. “Ms Sawamura!”
I waved my hand to dismiss his weariness. I checked to see if I was sweating. I got a towel and dried myself. I saw the two waiting for me.
“Ugh. Nii-san might hate it if I walk in dressed like this. You guys can go on I’ll just get in a change of clothes.”
“We’ll guard you.” Hinata stated and Kageyama agreed.
I went to my room and changed. The three of us came into the dining hall. Daichi had a frown in his face.
“Relax, Nii-san. I was training.”
We ate our dinner. I noticed Hitoka timider than last night then I realized it was because Asahi was next to her. I looked back to my food and felt sick to my stomach then I noticed my back aching. I stood up. “I feel sick.”
Everyone stopped.
“Do-do you need help?” Asahi offered.
“Ii-it’s okay. I’ll just-- I’ll just go to my room.” I smiled. I hung my head down to avoid their gaze. I breathe in when I finally got into my room. I removed my top and tried to look at my back through the mirror. All the stains of the past are revealed but nothing can compare to the ones that aren’t there. I wonder how he is now. I don’t think I could show my face without shame now. I put on one of the many mini yukatas Suga bought me and planted myself face first on the silk sheets. Tiredness overcame me.
I woke up to the feeling of someone watching me. I tried not to move much and looked for something I could grab and throw. I felt a nuzzle at the back of my head and a gunshot.
~~~
Every one of them heard an ear-piercing scream. Daichi shot up and ran to his sister’s room. Everyone followed suit. Suga and Kageyama had their guns ready. They opened her door just to see her alone as a crying mess. Suga dropped his gun and ran to her.
“Sweet pea! Are you okay?!”
“I thought- I thought--” She laid her head on Suga’s lap. “I’m scared...”
Suga was about to rub her back but they all noticed his fear on his face. “Sweet pea...?” She didn’t reply as she fainted from her panic.
“Suga? What is it?” Daichi went to his side.
“Who... Who hurt my baby?” He covered his mouth and his eyes started to glaze.
Daichi choked when he saw what he meant. Scars. Ennoshita took a look for himself. “Laceration. They don’t look like deep cuts.”
“Is this what she--”
Kiyoko had her hands folded over her lips. Tears were streaming down her face. Tanaka comforted her.
Suga carefully laid her head on her pillow and tucked her in. They left her alone and gathered in the other room. The seniors were all quiet as well as Ennoshita. The rest were at an unease.
Asahi started. “Should we-should we a-ask her about it?”
Suga looked at Daichi.
Ennoshita looked back on how she asked about the lethality of the ammo last night. She was already thinking of a different way just so she could avoid someone’s death. “We can’t.”
“Huh?!” Tanaka and Nishinoya shot up from his place.
“We got a member that was harmed!” Nishinoya handed. “We have to do something!”
“Nishinoya. Tanaka.” He glared at the two until they withdrew. He put his head down. He hid his face from everyone. His shoulders trembled as he tried to stop himself from crying.
~~~
I finished my sets. I looked over and saw Hinata alone. I didn’t even notice him come in. “Where’s your training partner?”
“In the range.” I stood up and walked towards the door. “Could you come with me? I want to check out the company.”
“Okay.”
I walked towards the lounge. As expected Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were there. Tsukishima glanced then darted his eyes away when I caught him. I walked over to Yamaguchi. “How’s the contract?” I leaned over to see the screen.
“Ms Sawamura!” Yamaguchi blushed.
“Oh. Sorry.” I distanced myself a bit. I read the contract. “Put in that they could take independent contracts too.”
“O-okay.”
I stood back up. “I’m going to the company to check it out or visit one of their sites,” I said as I walk out. I looked around to look for the others. I asked Ennoshita and Narita to accompany me to the company. I saw Hitoka with Kiyoko and asked her if she wants to come with me to see her father. She accepted.
I got back to my room to change my clothes. I saw Nishinoya with the others. Looks like he and Hinata will be on bikes for this trip. Hitoka and I sat beside each other. It was a silent ride except for Nishinoya doing a few tricks.
“Nishinoya didn’t really change.” Narita commented.
“Tanaka too.” Ennoshita added. “It’s probably for the best.”
We got to a company warehouse. Mr Yachi was there to greet us. “Mr Yachi shouldn’t you be in the safe house?”
“Don’t worry; someone on patrol is here. What brings you here?”
“I was thinking about what we could do to help your company. It was lucky that you’re here.” I noticed Hinata and Nishinoya sightseeing already before us. “Hinata, Nishinoya, not too far.”
Mr Yachi gave us a tour. I asked about the company properties. I let my eyes wander and noticed an albino man glaring our way. I stuck close to Ennoshita for a sense of comfort.
I saw Hinata looking his way. He then ran without a thought and pushed the man out of the way. A loud crash echoed through the place. I had to cover my ears for a second. We all ran towards them.
I looked up and just noticed a few of the frames rusting. “I guess that’s one thing we could help you with.”
“Aone?! Are you okay?” A guy helped him up.
“You said that you have empty warehouses, right?”
“Yes.”
I looked out the empty concrete field outside. “Have you ever thought of customizing and restoring vehicles?”
“I think someone here suggested that but I never had enough funds for it.”
“We’ll take care of it.”
We finished our meeting and were saying our goodbyes then the guy called Aone and the other guy approached us. “Thank you for saving helping us even after what we did.”
“Oh. Right. This is Futakuchi Kenji. He’s the person you can contact if not me.”
I bowed and introduced myself. “Hope to be able to work with you. I’d like to see you for when we sign the contracts.”
The guy called Aone stared at Hinata, making Hinata flinch a bit. He put out his hand. Hinata took a bit of time to process it then accepted his gesture formally.
We all went home. I took a quick shower then got into a bath. I looked down and saw a bit of color. I inhaled and caught on the scent of herbs. It wasn’t much but it’s there. "Should I ask Kiyoko and Hitoka to make time to be in here together?" I leaned on the edge. Won’t they be disgusted about my back though?
"I can’t even remember what really happened that night. I just remember the pain then the gunshots. The sound of wet footsteps." A tear fell from my eye. Remembering him brings back the sensations on my back. "Saying that I don’t miss him is a blatant lie. But... I don’t think I could show my face to him after everything."
I dressed up and started walking around the mansion. Nothing much did change. Before I even knew it, I was outside and I could hear faint gunshots in the distance. I walked towards the range and saw Kageyama by himself. He immediately notices me and greeted me briefly.
I walked over to the table and looked at the firearms laid out. I took notice of the bullets and examined them. "How much damage can this do?"
Kageyama paused for a while then pulled the target to us. The hole was bigger than the usual ammo.
"We aimed mostly at their forearms, thighs and calves. They got swollen marks."
"Can I?" I put on the ear mufflers. Kageyama made way for me. I picked up the pistol. The warmth of his hand was still present but there were bits where the cold metal was almost stinging my skin.
I took aim and held my breath. My vision started to go darker on the edges. I inhaled sharply and put the gun down. I can't do it. I huffed.
I noticed Kageyama looking at me. I chuckled nervously. "I'm not- I don’t...” I took a breath. “I'm not used to guns..." I said. "I might need help with this."
Kageyama put his hands over mine then gave me pointers for my form and how to hold the gun properly. We both fired the gun. The recoil made me flinch but Kageyama’s body stood still.
“Whoa.” I looked at the target and saw that the shots were close to the centre. He was still able to aim well despite the sight being off for him. “How long have you been doing this?”
“I started practising my aim when I was eight. I was only allowed to handle guns when I was 16.” He stated without an ounce of any emotion surfacing as he tended to the gun.
“Oi.” We both turned and it was Tsukishima with an annoyed frown. “Time to eat.”
