for real though, “secondhand dysphoria” is not a thing that should be taken seriously or affect reality in any shape or form. it’s called internalized transphobia and that’s something that YOU need to work on unlearning for yourself. if the mere act of looking at a trans person who doesn’t “pass” makes you feel dysphoric, you’re projecting your own issues onto others and passing judgement. and if you’re justifying that feeling, rather than working to dismantle those biases, what you’re saying is that other trans people should “pass” for the sake of your comfort.

and what do we say when homophobes, ableists, transphobes, racists, etc. want to stop people existing because it makes them “uncomfy” to see us? we say, rightfully, FUCK your comfort. that applies to us, too. never forget that.

I thought I posted this a couple months ago but I guess not? I sewed a piece of t-shirt fabric onto the inside of one of my pyjama shirts where the embroidered logo was starting to tear a hole in the shirt.

It seems to be holding well after a few wears. A woven fabric probably would have been more stabilizing, but I wanted it to be comfy and low-effort, so I didn't want raw edges I had to fold under.
