We will all be judged on our actions on Palestine. There will come a day when you will be asked "what did you do while Israel was killing Palestinians?" And even if you do not believe in an afterlife, you will be asked when Palestine is liberated, and it is no longer socially acceptable to be a Zionist, because we will see a Free Palestine in our life. Ask yourself, what do you want to answer with?
I know my blog is pretty tiny, and I never really posted anything before this. I originally only made this blog to look at other posts, mostly for BTS content.
I've been an ARMY since early 2018. And I've always been proud to be one. But honestly, with how ARMYs are right now, especially on Twitter, I feel so ashamed to be associated with these people. ARMYs, who are the same ones to organize charity events in the name of BTS on their birthdays, the same ones who donated a million dollars for Black Lives Matter, who are always the first to speak out against oppression, are now doing THE MOST to defend a Zionist white man. I feel so disgusted. How did it come to you to report Care for Gaza?
And even without being a Zionist, Scooter Braun is an evil, greedy man who should have never ever come close to the boys, but you guys really hate us Arabs and Muslims that much.
Wallahi I will never ever forget this, and when Palestine is Free, don't you dare and lie about your support. We see what you guys do.

Can I ask why you dislike Karlie so much? I’m not trying to make a case for her, I just want to know what I’m missing. Still very new to the TS fandom.
Basically, Taylor thought Karlie was her best friend, but it turns out she was actually a fake-ass clout-chaser who was telling Taylor’s personal / business information to Scooter Braun, who happens to be Karlie’s manager, which helped result in Scooter buying Taylor’s masters out from under her. She lied and committed the ultimate betrayal
These lyrics from it’s time to go from evermore sum it up very well:
When the words of a sister come back in whispers That prove she was not in fact what she seemed Not a twin from your dreams She's a crook who was caught

the fact that scooter braun is directly participating in the organization of this, tells you everything you need to know! apparently this will start in april 21st and end on may 25th and there will be a lot of security at this event to prevent people from protesting in front of it and the location has yet to be announced so yeah.... i hope people realize that this is the man hybe is employing currently and is ignoring fans in order to keep him and his employees in the company

sometimes I think anons here complaining about Hybe/scooter must not have jobs. Like it would be great if everyone could work for perfect companies run by perfect people. But most of us are out here trying to support ourselves and hopefully feel good about the work we do. It’s so weird to me that some people expect BTS to do things differently and personally research every single person they work with and decide if their ethics line up. They’re trying to get the best deal they can for themselves and their art. And clearly Hybe does that for them for now. I feel like most of us would make the same choices if we were them? Even the anons? Like maybe some of the members love scooter. Some might tolerate him. Some might think nothing about him at all and he just appears in front of them occasionally and they say hi. But they’re all just going to work and dealing with co-workers like us. With the added pressure of millions of people commenting on their choices.
***
It really does make you wonder, doesn't it?
But at the same time, I hardly blame the people complaining about the HYBE-Scooter connection, and honestly, a big part of me feels the same way. Even before the Zionist allegations, I’ve felt he’s been a poor investment with limited utility for BTS, Bang PD and HYBE. The loss of Ariana Grande and the rest of his American clientele, just confirmed more of the same for me. And then there’s the horrific global events the last few months… The scale of maddening, senseless violence and destruction is ridiculous, and at the same time it's tied to a conflict that's actually complicated and grotesque, given the nasty cocktail of tensions at the heart of religious, ethnic, and nationalistic identity. A real perversion of all the -isms there is.
On the flip side, the reality is that the entertainment industry as well as most other industries globally have very involved participation from companies tied to Jewish and/or Zionist individuals. Just by virtue of how long those people have been in those industries, and how directly involved and prominent several of them are. It’s just not realistic to not do business with key entities linked directly to those interests if you’re in American music and European/American film. I think. And business is business at some point. That’s something I believe in absolutely given the reality of what I do for a living.
For Scooter, if I were to give him the highest benefit of doubt, I’d say I struggle to understand his position, but believe he has no ill will. I doubt HYBE will divest from him or whatever, because they’ve got to recoup that US$1 billion at the very least. He has to prove his worth and there are key performance milestones coming up for him. I’m watching to see how he’ll do with Katseye, and a few other acts etc if he’s kept with HYBE cause there’s always the possibility he's dropped.
I’m also not going to totally fault the people protesting for better from HYBE. It’s the right thing that HYBE should divest, in an ideal scenario. But I feel a lot of people campaigning for it are either bandwagoning or being crazy impulsive about this issue. Some people passionately care, some people are traumatized and radicalized beyond belief, and some people are just exhausted. But ultimately, the relationship between BTS, HYBE, and Scooter is purely a corporate one and many of the stans getting hysterical over it generally come across as children who have no understanding of how business relationships work.
Anyway, I mostly agree with you is what I want to say.

Hey, um, I'm not sure if you'll answer this but I want to ask for you opinion. I don't know if you've seen the news that like 4 artists have cut contact with scooter and he's no longer their manager? I'm not even sure if it's really real or not but even if it's fake news it just makes me anxious. First of all it's really scary how everyone keeps dropping him... and so suddenly? He either did something really fucked up or he's retiring or something which I do not think. I literally don't know anything about him aside from the bad things he did to artists but he doesn't seem like he wants to retire now... Which brings me to my second concern which is Jungkook and the tannies. I'm gonna be honest, Seven is good but I just couldn't fully enjoy this era knowing that he had a part in it. And that might be not fair to Jungkook or I need to not think like that but I do, I'm sorry. And I'm just really weirded out right now because I don't want him to have a bigger control over Jungkook or any of the other tannies. I hate that he's in hybe at all, I hate that he's working with Jungkook, I hate that it seems like he will be a big part of his album as well. I just wish they don't do anything with him. But now that he lost a bunch of artists (or clients), I'm a little bit afraid he might get bigger control over the tannies, since he's in america and it's important they keep promoting over there. And honestly a third thing? We already knew he is a bad person but if something else comes out regarding the artists who have left recently, and it turns out he's even a bigger asshole, then I know, I know, deranged kpop fans will jump on Jungkook just to drag him for something he had no part in. And I'm already tired of that. So yeah... Am I just paranoid? I respect their decision if they want to work with him in the future, I just won't like it but that's just my personal preference and business. It's just weird what's happening right now and I don't want it to eventually be blamed on the tannies somehow.
Yes, anon, you are being paranoid. There are some things to remember:
The agency that Jungkook, the other members and BTS belong to is BigHit. Bighit is a private agency and separate from HYBE although technically it belongs to HYBE. As it is a private agency, hybe has no power over bighit and its artists, which includes all hybe subsidiaries including hybe america to which Scooter is linked. BigHit has full control of its artists.
Scooter was closely involved in Seven because he is Andrew Watt's manager, the producer of the song. Obviously, he saw the opportunity for clout because it was Jungkook but he has no power over Jungkook. He has no decision-making power, no management power etc., over Jungkook or BTS. Yes, he is part of HYBE America and Jungkook is part of HYBE technically but they are two different things. So there is no need to worry.
If Jungkook or any other member or the group in general "works" with Scooter it is because they are most likely working with one of the artists he represents and that way they can't avoid it. Scooter has been seen with Bang PD because they are representing HYBE and HYBE America, nothing else. As long as the guys are under BigHit, Scooter can't touch them unless they allow it.
It's funny how all this is something that many simply chose to forget when accusing Jungkook of a myriad of stupidities.
