How do you think Scale and Cole would react to their S/O falling asleep on their shoulder? (I'm just a sucker for that stuff <33)

<3<3<3<3<3 i loooooove this kind of thing too, thanks for the request!! (i actually already had a bit of scale's in my drafts already lmaooo)

Scale:

-Startled at first because he doesn't expect it.

-if he doesn't notice that you're sleepy/nodding off and you suddenly slump into his shoulder then there's a good chance it's gonna scare the hell out of him. He'll immediately think you'd been poisoned or attacked for a split second paranoid ass

-After that he'll kinda stare and poke at you for a minute to see if you're actually asleep.

-"Was I being boring or something...?"

-Begrudgingly lets you sleep on him for a while, pretending to be more annoyed about it than he really is.

-He's blushing like hell the whole time. Probably tries to drape his cape around your shoulders to act as a blanket.

-He'll put up with being sore or getting pins and needles for a while, but will eventually get sick of it. He briefly considers kissing you awake and being sweet but it's more likely that he flicks you in the forehead or shakes you awake.

Cole:

-It's usually more likely that Cole will be the one falling asleep on you, rather than the other way around. He greatly enjoys taking naps on you.

-When it's the reverse however, oh boy he is elated.

-You know when an animal falls asleep on you so you can't move or else you'll wake them up? That's exactly what Cole is like with you. He thinks you're way too cute to disturb.

-He'll sit in any position, anywhere, for any amount of time if it means you'll keep laying on him.

-I think he's lowkey starved for affection so he'll take anything and everything. Will let you sleep on him for hours just so he can stare at your adorable sleeping face.

-If there are other people around or if you're somewhere public, Cole will glare openly at anyone who dares to make noise and potentially wake you.

-Although if you're a deep enough sleeper, Cole may risk adjusting your position or even carrying you somewhere more comfortable so that you can rest.

How do you think Volks, Scale and Cole would react to overhearing their S/O being all cute while talking about them and how much they love them? (feel free to ignore :])

Volks

I won't lie, he's sort of in disbelief

in a good way tho

his heart legit skipped a beat

he's shaking with excitement and trying and failing to fight back a smile

trying to play it cool but he's legit never been so happy and giddy in his life

usually people just like him for his brooding good looks and that's it

and tbh it's actually rare he hears a compliment on any of his other qualities ('I know I don't have many other good ones, okay...')

so when you not only notice them-- not only like them--- but you in fact love them???

and love him???

excuse him while he howls at the moon as he jumps over it

I think he legit had to go on a sprint through the forest afterwards to get out all his excited energy, he was so damn happy

doesn't say anything about it to you at all later

he does it shyly and with a rare flower he had to fight an ancient spirit for

but he only does so to tell you that he feels the same

and he's so lucky to have you

I think he has an extra spring in his back flips for like a month after this

Cole

He. Is. Shaking.

Violently so

his mind his racing, his palms are sweating, he can't stop smiling

he's holding himself, biting back laughter

he doesn't know how to process this level of ecstasy

and I think on some level he didn't even see this coming or even know what's going on

but anytime he thinks about what you said to try and analyze what's affecting him so much, he's in a state all over again

he definitely tells you, though it's a mix of an accident and also him not caring enough to hide it

you meet up with him and he's trying to keep his cool

but he can't help the little smile that betrays him

can already feel the wave of it all washing back over him

he's chuckling a bit

he's holding himself again

you ask him what's wrong and he just looks at you

hands gripping his shoulders, biting his lip as he tries not to laugh, eyes wide, grin creeping on his face, shaking

"I heard what you said earlier" he steps closer

"About how much you Love me," and closer

"All the little things you love about me," he grabs yous a little too tight, looking you deep in your eyes

"What have you done to me?"

Tail Tango

I've return from the war, had this sitting in the inbox so as a start i give you this short piece. I'll probably be back around now but we'll see unless I disappear for another 6 months.

Thank you for requesting the prompt a long while back, my apologizes for such a long hiatus. These will be Headcanons of Volks and Scale, I'm sorry that Scales might be odd, I haven't gotten a good read on his character for this.

Volks

✦ Since Volks is a wolf, he can’t really wrap his tail around you as you would hope, however he does have a bad habit of wagging his tail rather aggressively against you when he gets happy or is in your presence.

✦ Say he wanted to hold you close or hold your hand, then you’ll be more than aware of the fluffy tail pressed against your thigh or even smacking your butt while you stroll together. It’s a cute gesture, often leaving you in a quiet giggling fit as Volks struggles to find why you are laughing before growing pink in embarrassment.

✦When he catches it himself, he denies the fact that he was practically hitting you with his tail, holding his tail in his hand while continuing which only leaves his lover wondering why he’s doing that. They can only think that maybe he didn’t want it to drag and pick up more dirt then it already has.

✦ “Hmm? Ah, no, nothing really. I just have no control over it sometimes, that’s all. Don’t wanna be knocking over strangers… though that would be fun to watch.”

✦ He won’t admit it but he really likes it when you brush your hand over his tail, he won’t tell you but seeing how gentle you are with your touch, combing through his fur to even it out leaves him feeling pure bless. He won’t ask you too, but should you stop your little show of affection, he will roughly thump you with his tail until you get the memo. He didn’t tell you to stop just yet.

✦ Often, he uses his tail to bring you closer to him, holding your hand isn’t enough for him so he uses his bush of a limb to push you closer. Patting your lower back until you were forced to step closer so that you’re almost pressed into his side, leaving him to smoothly wrap his arm around your shoulder and whisper in your ear, “My my, would you look at that? Looks like I have you wrapped around my finger, huh?”

Scale

✦ Being an assassin, Scale is constantly alert and always having his guard up. Since getting together, he has begun to protect you like you are a further extension of himself, which in some sense you are. Should you be the more oblivious kind, he will purposely use his tail and wings to better ward off danger and keep you by his side.

✦ That being said, he will do it subconsciously now which leads him to get into embarrassing situations where he hovers his wings behind your back when in public, his tail following suit that it coils around your arm. He hates it when you further encourage it, because now he knows that you are aware of his small habit which makes it even harder to break. He’s an assassin! He can’t be turning soft now!

✦ Everytime he sees himself doing this, he makes a big deal out of it. What!? No, he was not cuddling up to you, he thought he was holding his dagger cuz you know, how else wouldn't they use their tail to hold their weapon of choice! Huh, oh, he already has them in his hands- NO MATTER, he thought you were a pole to stabilize on. After all, an assassin must stay balanced when perched up! Just- don’t mention it again, his heart can’t take the second-hand embarrassment.

✦ “Geez, you really have to go and point out the obvious. It’s not like I want you close to me… hey, where are you going? Wait, don't leave me behind Hhh! You could be ambushed if you’re not careful, don’t ask why I care!”

✦ Something about the way he can cradle you against his figure gives him this kind of power on his person, seeing you be vulnerable and at peace in his presence, it isn’t something that he is gifted often as he works in a very violent environment. That being said, let him have this moment where he can pull you in with his wings when he feels the need to protect you. His tail is pretty thick so he will utilize it to push away anybody who dares hurt or approach his most precious treasure.

✦ With a silent thump of his tail, you turn to see him standing behind you as he keeps a close eye on the area, but his eyes will often drift back to yours before getting caught in your gaze. Rolling his eyes with a huff, he speeds your way before taking a hold of your hand and drags you off, his tails following his lead in wrapping around your waist. “I could have sworn something was following us, so keep close. I don’t want to lose you now, don’t think too much about it.” And all you can do is gently pat his tail in agreement.

SO i was playing night of universal hallucinations and when we were introduced to velite, the ipc guy, i immediately went “HUH his voice sounds familiar” then as the quest went on, i finally placed it as sounded VERY SIMILAR to scale from blush blush. i later searched up the name and lo and behold -

Okay, but tell me that Blush Blush isn’t just one humungous polyship? It totally is and it’s hinted at strongly through text even in game! So I didn’t even have to pick one particular polyship here and just based it off the entire cast of lovely, sexy men! I hope you enjoy the headcanons, based off this prompt here!

Who shops for groceries?

I feel like Nimh definitely always remembers to shop for groceries and that grocery shopping dates are a huge thing for him. They’re just very relaxed and cutely domestic and really up his alley. Myx, maybe not so surprisingly, is really into farmer’s markets and, while some dates he takes you on are raucous or crazy, he appreciates a good Saturday morning date with you to the farmer’s market.

Who kills the spiders?

William does not abide spiders being killed. He traps them with a glass and takes them outside and even gives them a name as he says goodbye to them. Anon makes you kill the spiders for him, while Volks will happily kill the spiders for you.

Who comes home drunk at 3 a.m.?

Eli, Dmitri, and William have all done this in the time you’ve known them. Eli loves clubbing and the nightlife and it’s too easy to get drunk off those frou-frou, fruity drinks he loves because it’s so hard to taste the alcohol in them. He’ll happily stagger home, drunk and giggling, with you after a night out on the town. William is a wine drunk and gets silly when drunk and it’s up to you to get him safely back home and into bed to keep him from getting into much trouble. Dmitri doesn’t get drunk quickly but when he gets drunk, he gets horny and it will be a race for him to either get home to you or to take you home…or anywhere private, really.

Who makes breakfast?

Kelby makes protein shakes every morning and always makes one for you if he’s with you. Nimh cooks you a healthy breakfast every morning you’re with him. Eli loves brunch with you and will take you out to brunch fairly often, where there will be mimosas and gossiping. Garret makes the most heavenly flapjacks but doesn’t often eat breakfast – they’re normally a breakfast for supper kind of deal.

Who remembers to feed the fish?

William never forgets to feed any animal. If you have fish, Sven really likes feeding them too…and sometimes, you’ll find that the fish have been fed, though you can’t remember feeding them, and it’s usually because it’s one of those little things that Cole breaks in to your house to do does for you as sweet gestures to make your life easier.

Who decorates the apartment?

William, Dmitri, Volks, and Stirling all have very set senses of style when it comes to interior design and their apartments are all quite decorated. Nimh’s is kind of a cozy mishmash that he encourages you to add to. Eli loves shopping for furniture and interior décor as dates but would want to design the apartment with you instead of by himself. Scale, Ichiban, and Garret aren’t really into interior design strongly and are happy to turn the reins over to you when it comes to decorating. And as long as it’s really damn clean, Anon doesn’t much care what the place looks like…just, clean it. Please.

Who initiates duets?

Come on, the answer to this one is so obviously Myx that you had to see the answer coming. He breaks out in random song and loves it when you harmonize with him.

Who falls asleep first?

Okay, so I feel like Nimh, Kelby, and Scale fall asleep before you. Stirling stays up most of the night since he doesn’t need a lot of sleep but he does like watching you sleep. Myx and Eli want you out with them until late, enjoying the nightlife, and fall asleep about the same time as you. Ichiban has a habit of staying up late playing video games and it’s not too rare for him to come to bed after you’ve fallen asleep. William is hit or miss – sometimes he likes waiting for you to fall asleep, just enjoying the peacefulness of the moment with you and thinking how cute you look while sleeping while other times he passes out first.

eek yes!!!

Scale:

-he is such a loser lmao.

-Scale will not, under any circumstance, confess first. It simply will not happen. He's way too prideful for that.

-But he WILL constantly be trying to seduce you into doing it first.

-He's showing off constantly, trying to get you to marvel at his muscles and his cool dagger collection and his sick ninja moves. Which is perfectly fine, except for the fact that he's so. Completely obvious about it. There is not an ounce of subtly in that boy.

-However, he'll constantly find himself forgetting about his crusade, only to immediately snap back to reality and trying to cover his tracks.

-"You look really pretty today. Ah- Did I say pretty??? I meant- uh- pale! You're not sick, right? No...? Uh, good... why did I say that..."

-He's so obvious about it that you pick up on his crush really fast. Please do the both of you a favor and just confess first. Unless you just particularly like watching him struggle (understandable).

Poe:

-Poe doesn't crush easily, but when he does he crushes hard.

-He knows he likes you when your name starts to stick to the tip of his tongue. When lyrics in his favorite songs sound different, when his writing comes out mushy and romantic...

-However, Poe isn't exactly an optimist. He'll likely assume off the bat that you wouldn't like him back and gives in to one-sided pining.

-The disappointment makes for great poetry! So he's pretty cool with it.

-He's not very obvious when it comes to his crush. At least, that's what he thinks, but it definitely shows in small ways.

-Poe will only confess first if he's pretty positive that you like him back. If you make it obvious that you also like him, then he'll give in fairly quickly and bring up the topic. If you're more subtle, he'll really take his time to make sure before telling you how he feels.

Oh it is such a rough thing for poor Nimh.

Problem A), the call alone is a little jump scare to him, and now his heart is freaking out

Problem B), he’s now faced with the dilemma of either dropping everything, or letting you eat shit on the pavement. He’d like neither to happen, but he’s not dumb enough to think he could do both

He eventually commits to catching you, but that just leads to

Problem C), he is not very strong and he can barely hold you

Give him the courtesy of keeping a foot on the ground to balance out your weight, yeah?

Volks

You joke about it sometimes before you ever commit to the bit

And every single time you do he insists to you that he will make zero effort to catch you

But you know Volks very well at this point.

And you know, among other things, that he is a dirty fucking liar

So you can only imagine your personal childlike glee when you finally do it and he does, in fact, catch you without hesitation

He insists it’s because if you fell and like, broke your elbow or something, that’d be terrible. Medical bills and all that.

For his sake, you’re ignoring that his face is growing redder by the second.

Kelby

No hesitation 100% of the time

First of all, holding you is extremely easy for him, but also he just finds carrying you to be romantic as hell

Oh he’ll cringe if he happens to be dropping something heavy, like a weight, but he still goes for you, that’s his priority

Still, he likes looking for opportunities to show off, and carrying you around like it’s nothing is prime show off material.

He might even get in a couple squats. He knows they go appreciated.

Eli

It’s a coin flip with Eli

Though if there’s a chance you’d genuinely injure yourself he’ll probably catch you

But it’s fair game to just let you crash if it’s carpet or grass. Because he thinks it’s just a little funny.

He also occasionally makes you pay the ‘catch tax’

It’s 5 dollars to at least partially make up for the drink that just died on the ground for your goofs.

Anon

Really, shame on you, you should know better.

He makes no attempt to catch you

In fact, he finds the way you end up crashing into the wall kinda funny.

Like watching a cat really fuck up a jump.

Beyond the fact that he’s kind of a stickler with his physical contact to begin with, a lot of the things he carries around are very easily breakable

So yes it’s rude, but frankly he’s not about to shell out 1000 dollars for a new laptop because you thought you could make a goofy point- because you couldn’t.

Garret

Garret doesn’t even miss a beat

He’s got you held up in one arm and whatever it was he was holding cradled in the other

While he thinks that it was certainly an odd thing to do, it was pretty cute.

Not hard to do. He thinks most things you do are cute.

Gives you a little kiss and gently sets you back down

Don’t get overconfident though. If he’s holding an animal, the animal gets priority. They’re more fragile.

He still feels really bad about it though. You think he might cry

Dmitri

Dmitri also goes for the catch every time

It adds to his suave and romantic charm, obviously.

However, as the type to prioritize romance over basic logic on occasion, he’s also prone to forgetting that he’s often holding his drink of choice

No it’s fine that his foot just got doused in hot coffee, no he’s not getting a third degree burn

Appreciate the romance, he’ll go see someone about it later

Ichiban

Like Anon, Ichiban hesitates, because if he’s holding something, it’s likely expensive.

However, unlike Anon, he makes the fatal mistake of still trying to catch you

And it worked maybe once. He’s still riding that high though.

He can handle it!

…But also this case of shenanigans that he has never told you to stop doing has cost more in equipment that either of you are ready to admit out loud.

You may or may not have pitched in to replace several cameras, controllers, and lavaliers

William

He tries very very hard to get you to stop charging him before contact is made

It’s a flurry of paperwork, because he does catch you

Says it’s the least he could do as the doting boyfriend he is

Though he does awkwardly dismiss himself from in after a moment.

While carrying you around is quite romantic, he won’t disagree with that, but also those papers were kind of important and he should get those together ASAP.

People have pets in need, and they can’t get it without the information getting where it needs to be.

He promises to give you a good cuddle once it’s all sorted, however.

Myx

There’s a very direct correlation between what exactly he’s holding and how okay he is with dropping it to scoop you

Electronics? Hard no, those are pricey to replace

Instruments are also frequent victims, and it depends on its fragility.

He tried to catch you with his leg once, except all he actually did was end up kicking you in the gut on the way down

He apologized about it for fifteen minutes straight.

But if it’s something sturdy, he has no problem with chucking it straight down and scooping you up into a whole ass cuddle.

Stirling

Oh please don’t do that outside

But in the middle of the day it’s very bad for both of you

He can’t hold his parasol and you at the same time, it’s not happening

So get ready to either hit the deck or get caught on fire with him, depending on how much time he gets to think about it

Scale

He screams at first

There’s a loud clatter of knives, but he’s got you!

Scale insists very hard that he did not shriek like a little baby at you almost impaling yourself on his knives

Instead he scolds you over it

I mean come on, you spent an entire afternoon to keep his assassination deadline on you years away

What’s the good in wasting that, he could’ve done better things with his afternoon if you were gonna die a couple months later anyway

Sven

Puts no thought into whatever he’s holding, he just tries to hold you on top of it

It’s very uncomfortable every time, why do you keep doing that

It also doesn’t register to him that it’s his need to multitask it that results in you injuring yourself

He starts doing it to you to prove a point, and thinks he’s doing it better because he doesn’t get hurt

He has not realized it’s because you actually drop everything to catch him

But it’s still fun, and you kinda don’t want to ruin it for him.

Cole

He doesn’t even flinch

It’s like he anticipated you’d do this exact thing

And unlike some of the other boys he doesn’t even think when he drops whatever he’s holding.

Unless it’s something on the more… incriminating side. At that point he dodges you, dodges any questions, and quickly dismisses himself from the conversation entirely.

Sure it’s entirely possible there’s a shattered plate of hot food at his feet now, but that doesn’t matter because you’re here, being contently held in his arms

He uses it as an excuse to keep holding you

Poe

It what fucking world do you think he could hold you?

He drops his coffee and his school papers

Luckily they don’t damage each other, but w o w that was a close call

But beyond losing his morning caffeine and having to gather his work back up, you’ve hurt his wrists and also your entire body

No one has won here.

He also just. Literally can’t hold you. He’s a tiny frail goth boy, he crumbles if he’s holding anything heavier than 20 pounds.

Once you’re back on your feet, he asks if you could at the very least help him gather up his papers. They’re worth like 20% of his grade.

Cashew

Already a bit on the twitchy side, when he notices you speeding like a bullet train, he squeaks.

What exactly do you think you’re doing??? He’s been relocating his books all afternoon, you can see that he’s holding like, 8.

But, visibly cringing, they hit the floor, because he knows that he can’t hold them and you at the same time

One of them falls wide open, pages down. He tries not to think of the potential folded pages and boxed corners.

Especially because of how pleased you look!

…But the second he can set you down he’s on the ground checking for damages.

Seth

Seth is the absolute king of the ‘casually carrying around hazardous objects’ club

But unlike everyone else in said club, he has no qualms about chucking whatever it is on the ground and scooping you up.

This has resulted almost unanimously in making more hazards and chaos, but he hasn’t fussed about it once

He gets to give you a lil snuggle and it has the potential to cause crime. It’s a win-win for him!

You are an accessory to arson now though, so watch out, yeah?

Logan

Man goes into bullet time

It’s just a race to him to see if he can free an arm before you inevitably ‘plink’ off him and crash into the floor

Like. He does it, no real problems

But he immediately sets you down and scolds you for it

Because that was dangerous! What if he got hurt? What if you got hurt? What if he was holding something breakable, or bringing his fire axe somewhere?

All of those sound awful!

Still, he ruffles your hair and plants a little kiss on the top of your head. He isn’t mad, he just wants to make sure you’re being safe.

How would the tsundere duo (aka Volks and Scale) react to a flirty reader?

I think it depends on how close the reader is to them.

if it's at the start they'll brush it off like 'pff whatever'

BUT if it's later on when they've accepted their crushes and start to give into the dokis they're gonna start getting FLUSTERED

Both are bad at hiding it but in different ways

Scale proclaims that he sees your flirt challenge and he accepts (like a DORK just flirt back nerd)

while Volks tries really hard to pretend it's not happening and it's awkward and he's super bad at hiding it but then he finally just caves and tells you you're making him flustered

much much later into things however, both will just see it as an opening to be flirty right back

which is what they'll do

This is a BlushBlush blog, where I’ll post my own personal writings and also write any suggested content when requests are available. I am halfway through my own play through of the game, so a lot of my content will make the characters OOC a tad bit. But I’ll do my best with what resources there are out there and my own gameplay.

Also noted, this blog will mainly just be the main guys in the game as the phone-flings aren’t that interesting to me and that would just be too many guys. Yes, Cashew, Poe, Seth, and Logan will count but all other phone flings will not.
