#satan has to explain to her that as full grown demons they don't have baby teeth
Note
Imagine IK telling the demons about the strange things that parents do that are actually super common ??
Like IK tells them that when a little kid has a loose tooth (Do you think Demons had baby teeth ?? Or I guess in their case little angels like Luke) the parent ties a string around it and then ties the other end to a door and slams it to get it out
They're all so .... silently scared because that honestly sounds like a torture method
Alecto is the type of person to actively seek out someone with a loose tooth because she wants to try it
ik tells them about the 'here comes the aeroplane' food thing and the brothers think it's so funny that it becomes a regular joke at the dinner table to come up with increasing nonsensical things for the spoon of food to be ("hey beeeel, here comes the giant rolling ferris wheel!")
also re: teeth (that sounds so weird) - i think young demons start out with really sharp little fangs when they first are created, but then they have like a first 'moult' where they develop their mature demon forms, and their baby fangs fall out then
young angels also have a first moult but they don't lose any teeth - it's just the silver baby down on their wings moulting into proper white flight feathers. though i'm sure at least some angels have accidentally knocked a tooth out in an accident before
and alecto would ABSOLUTELY do that, she puts up an ad in the rad newspaper asking any demons close to moulting to please contact her, she swears it'll be worth their time

Omg I’m glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t like that headcanon. Didn’t they say in game they all had to teach Satan how to do things? and although it’s cute, I don’t think when he came out of Lucifer he was a baby-there’s that UR+ where we Satan falling as a full grown man
Yeah I just... there's really something in how Lucifer's spent the most time raising Satan that really speaks to me in a way that's very... depth-adding to their relationship?
Anyway me going on and on about Satan and Lucifer in a possible incoherent way under the cut wow it's been a while
Because from the way it seems, while every brother has played a part in teaching Satan how to be a fully functioning part of Devildom royalty, the fact that it's specifically mentioned that Lucifer played a huge part in 'raising' him means a lot.
What does it mean when a demon who finds himself perfect and an example of dignity and poise puts it upon himself to shape the most emotional and violent of them into a demon worthy of the title of Lord of Hell? Into a demon that won't somehow bring upon them a sentencing that'll end up having himself or one of them sentenced to death like Lilith was?
Because you gotta remember, there's a ton of pressure on Lucifer to keep everyone in line. He just came from losing his sister. And he might not have lost that sister if he were stricter and disallowed her and Belphie from going down to the human realm so often.
And he was coming fresh off of being betrayed by his Father and numerous brothers and sisters. So how could he trust Diavolo and his father to go easy on them should they ever cross the line? Especially as former angels?
All this to say that among his many other mentioned reasons to hate Lucifer, there's definitely some intense resentment going on that stems from how Lucifer taught him, and for how long. Because there's no way Lucifer didn't use himself as a basis for the ideal proper demon. No way that he wasn't harsher with his punishments for Satan not being able to keep up at the start. And at some point it clicked with Satan that Lucifer was molding him to be Lucifer, and it further amplified his identity crisis and made him even more bitter about that early disciplining. Hence the 'rebellious phase.'
"If Lucifer's so precious to you, then why don't YOU try being his sweet, obedient little brother?!"
A line from Satan, directed very angrily at Simeon after he suggested Satan patch things up with Lucifer. Lesson 51-20.
I'm... Pretty sure Lucifer's spent the most time raising all the brothers. And the brothers love him for it. But with Satan, he doesn't get it. He didn't get the experience the Lucifer that the others did because all he knows is the demon Lucifer who's changed so much by war and loss and fear that he'll lose yet another of his siblings if he lets his hold on everything loosen for just a little while.
Mammon being the one to spend the most time and effort raising Satan is so...????? Then wouldn't Satan be nicer to Mammon? Wouldn't Satan have more traits that he 'inherited' from Mammon? Wouldn't he like... Hate Lucifer less from the get go because Lucifer didn't fuck him up as much? Because honestly, Lucifer and Satan's relationship can be explained in human terms as 'controlling and overbearing Asian tiger parent who wants perfection causes trauma and resentment in offspring That Did Not Ask To Be Born,' for lack of a better way to say it. And specifically Asian because that's what the writers are and the experience they're pulling from and honestly if the fact that repressing one's self for the betterment of society/your family + forcing yourself to excel in everything being common issues youth face in Japan isn't a dead giveaway idk what is
