“And...done.”
Kagome watched as Kikyo lifted her newly assembled hand and examined it with a keen eye. She sat limp against the warm walls of Kaede’s hut, flames licking at the edges of the nearby fire pit, Kagome’s healing supplies sprawled out over the reed mats. Before, these supplies had consisted of gauze, rubbing alcohol, and future ointments, but now her collection has expanded to include more specialized tools: adhesive, epoxy, and sanding materials. To heal a person whose wounds were not of flesh, one needed to improvise.
“It’s golden,” Kikyo remarked, tracing down the shiny lacquered adhesive in her arms. They spiderwebbed across her skin like veins, stark against her porcelain complexion. “Beautiful.”
Kagome beamed. “You like it?”
Kikyo lowered her hand. “It is elegant. But no one would ever see it,” she said, alluding to the wide, voluminous sleeves of her miko clothes.
“I’ve seen it,” Kagome pointed out.
It was a joking remark, but Kikyo’s eyes drifted close, lips curling up in appeasement. “Then that is enough.”
Kagome blushed, fumbling to tuck the remainder of her supplies away. The hut’s warmth, once quaint, was now stifling. Her eyes darted towards the doorway, and she shifted her thoughts towards something more suitable.
The others had sustained minor injuries from their latest skirmish with Naraku’s incarnations – a few cuts for Inuyasha, which had healed in a moment’s notice; a thin gash on Miroku’s ankle that Sango had bandaged for him, evading his flirtations all the while. She was aware that they now meandered outside, recovering or hunting for that evening’s dinner, leaving her and Kikyo alone, as they had so often found themselves.
Kikyo had dealt the most damage to both the enemy and herself. Her body, constructed of clay, was far too fragile to withstand even the most menial of combat. Her skin cracked and severed and fell to pieces, and each time, Kagome would collect her fallen stone limbs to reattach them, gingerly applying glue and holding Kikyo’s body in place using the strength of her own while it dried.
Only us, Kikyo had insisted. Kagome had assumed it was because she didn’t want everyone else to see her in such a disfigured state, being reassembled like a broken clock. They were no longer enemies, and they had passed the phase of begrudging animosity, timid greetings, and half-hearted attempts at conversation. But she hadn’t understood why Kikyo would let her – the girl she had once claimed to hate – see her so vulnerable.
Kagome didn’t understand it much now, either, but she treasured these moments alone. There were slow lines of sleepy dialogue exchanged, and sometimes only silence, but the air was always heavy, weighing down on them. There were the faint, almost imagined sounds – the hitch in Kikyo’s breath when Kagome’s wet fingers lathered her clean; the sigh she let out when Kagome ran her hands through her length of dark hair. Her eyelashes fell like a curtain as gentle palms danced across her collarbone, down the dip of her spine. Over and over, she basked in the foreign, comforting sensation of touch.
When her eyes fluttered open, and Kikyo gazed down at her body, there was a sense of regret. As though she wished she weren’t broken so beyond repair that she could reach up and caress Kagome in return.

Tropical-Rouge! Precure Watch Guide
Want to watch Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure, but it feels like there’s too many episodes?
...Well, let me stop you right there, because this season is the ultimate comedic filler show and has barely any plot at all. If you're not ready to kick back, relax, laugh here and there, and follow maybe 1 plot point throughout the whole season, you're better off skipping this season. (On the other hand, if you're just ready to vibe, you might as well watch every episode. Who will this guide be useful for? Unclear.)
Since there's so much "filler" (aka just vibing), my usual scheme doesn't work here. So here's how we're gonna do this...
Green = Plot; Blue = Recommended Filler; Yellow = Fun but way more optional filler; Red = More Boring Filler and recommended skip
1 — Start
2 — What are Priorities? (Manatsu & Laura focus)
3 — Cure Coral
4 — Cure Papaya
5 — Cure Flamingo
6 — Club finalized
7 — Kururun (Laura & Minori focus)
8 — Fun with cooking (Manatsu & Asuka focus)
9 — Movie-making (Sango focus)
10 — Group finisher
11 — Sand art
12 — Rules Drools (Laura & Asuka focus)
13 — Mermaid song (Laura focus)
14 — Babysitting This isn’t that interesting but has a fairly long battle.
15 — Body Swap (Laura & Minori focus)
16 — Cure La Mer part 1
17 — Cure La Mer part 2
18 — Laura’s first day as a student (Laura focus)
19 — Ghost stories (Manatsu focus)
20 — Detective Minorin (Minori focus)
21 — Start of Summer Break (Manatsu & Laura focus)
22 — Mermaid Treasure (Laura focus)
23 — Summer Festival (Laura focus)
24 — Showdown with the student council (Asuka focus)
25 — Teacher Evaluation

27 — Dolphin Propaganda Slightly more interesting villain plan.
28 — Makeup Propaganda (Minori focus)
29 — Precure Powerup This episode has jaw-dropping animation through the entire episode.
30 — Laura for Student Council President Gives background note on Asuka’s past club
31 — Asuka train shenanigans (goes into her relationship with Yuriko)
32  — Sango Fashion Show
33 — Clip Show (Short clips and jokes only)

36 — Gran Ocean
37 — Gran Ocean 2
38 — Asuka vs Yuriko
39 — Sango’s dream
40 — Minori and Papayas

@sometimes-icanstillhear-sitboy InuPrompts Day 3 - A Ficlet at 680 words
Not at all a hasty rewrite inspired by the last 48 hours in my life
Tumblr media
When Kagome announced she was pregnant, Inuyasha went through a violent series of emotions very quickly. There was shock, there was elation, then there was a bone deep dread, swiftly followed by fear and a need to join his wife in the bushes to throw-up.
But by the time his son– his son– finally arrived he felt more prepared than he thought he would. They had a basket, they had diapers, they had blankets and furs and chew toys durable enough for hanyou teeth. He’d even “baby proofed” as Kagome put it: sanding down the corners of the table to avoid pointed edges; getting all new smooth, clean mats for the floor; even rebuilding the doorframes so they would be harder for a baby to slide.
He was also prepared for threats outside the home. Mirroku had ofuda’d every inch of the village. They went on daily patrols and - even though he would never tell Kagome- he’d scent marked every other tree in a three mile radius. He’d even bullied Sesshomaru into making more regular appearances.
With all this prepping little baby Enji was snugger than a bug in a rug. And thanks to extensive prep time with Sango’s children, Inuyasha was at least mostly ready to deal with the crying, the diaper rash, and the lack of sleep Kagome was going to suffer while breastfeeding.
So how come nobody fucking told him during all this the kid was going to actively try and kill himself at every available opportunity?
Before he was even crawling Enji seemed to find everything and try to pop it directly into his mouth. He scratched his face, punched himself in a place Inuyasha was very sure he didn’t want to be punched, and pulled his own hair when he was mad.
Then there was crawling.
How was this a good idea from an evolutionary standpoint? Kagome told him about how humans and animals adapted to their environment to ensure survival. So why did baby humans allow their tiny baby heads to take such a beating as they bellyflopped their way directly towards the active fire pit!? Why did baby arms fail at holding them up but their hands could grip a knife that was unwatched for a single blink? Enji couldn’t stand, but he could roll directly into the river while they washed laundry?
So he decided if the baby didn’t adapt then he would. More toddler proofing. Or, more accurately, more toddler failure.
The new bathtub he built? Apparently actually a climbing gym.
The bed he made? More like a crash pad for swinging from the ceiling.
And he didn’t even want to think about the garden with its hoes and its stakes and the fence and the dirt and the snakes and just… everything.
As Inuyasha spent yet another night on sentry duty, watching over Enji and making sure the newest collection of scrapes and bruises cleared (he healed faster than his mother, but definitely not as quickly or as completely as his father) he couldn’t shake the gnawing feeling in his belly that he should be doing… something. He wasn’t sure what, but something more to keep his son safe. He didn’t want to lock him in the house all day - not that that would help anyway - but Inuyasha had been so focused on outside forces hurting his child, he never really considered how unintentionally self destructive a lanky, super strong, super fast, absolute moron child could be.
But even after - or maybe especially after - taking a major fumble from a tree during the eight seconds it took Inuyasha to turn and answer a question Enji had still smiled. Still laughed. Still ran immediately back to the same damn tree and tried again.
Maybe that was the point, though, wasn’t it?
Maybe he couldn’t keep his not-so-little-baby-boy safe from everything, or even himself, but he could keep him happy. Could keep him trying again. Could help him laugh even as his mom smeared that horrible smelling goop all over the broken skin.
In the morning Inuyasha would check to make sure Enji was healed and they’d go break something else. Together.

@nilopar sc. ; eyes shimmering with adoration, the princess of a far away sea finds herself in a moment of stupor at her first sight of the other since unpacking and changing unto their beach outfits. " o-oh, nilou you look gorgeous ! "
Tumblr media
a small yet playful wink had left the sango pearl divine blushing from even thinking of such an action. ( is it normal for one's heart to feel so fluttery? ) " you truly look like a living and breathing mermaid. " with summer in full swing and duties at phase of dullness, allows for this majesty of the seas to enjoy in leisurely activities. & what better than sitting on the beach with someone such as nilou. having already been seated upon soft white sands, kokomi was also in her own hand tailored iridescent bathing suit of pearls and sangonomiya shells.

Sango cosplay update and a beginner armor tutorial!
For this cosplay, I made the shin armor, elbow armor, pauldrons, armor fasteners, and painted the shirt/sword.
The photos are of before and after I revamped this cosplay! The tutorial will be under the cut with progress photos!
Tumblr media
This tutorial will cover the creation of everything you see in this photo except for sleeveless gloves (lol), and the mask, which is real metal and was commissioned from Hollowearthworkshop on Facebook.
Tumblr media
To make the pauldrons and the elbow armor I bought and repurposed elbow and knee pads from the thrift store. I cut off all of the fabric so it was essentially just the plastic shells left. I set aside the velcro for fastening the elbow pads later.
Tumblr media
In my first go at this cosplay, I painted the armor/knee pads with acrylic paint and cut out a piece of large foam to be her front armor. I then lined them with a silver acrylic paint outline. As a final touch, I coated it in mod podge to keep it from chipping.
I sadly do not have photos of when I made all the red armor straps/fasteners but to make them you essentially just have to sew so many tubes, turn them inside out, sew the open side closed, and iron those babies to hell and back. For the criss-cross back piece, I sewed the wrong sides together so it would make an infinity sign or figure eight. To put that piece on, I put it on like backpack straps.
In total, she has the crisscross back piece, a red strap on each shoe, red straps securing her elbow armor, red straps securing the shin armor, and a long piece that ties around her waist securing her armor and sword.
For the waist piece, I made it wider than it should be because it gets wider towards the end. To do this I just folded it to be smaller on my waist and ironed it to stay folded and left the ends unironed so it would be larger at the tips.
I do recommend that you make the fabric pieces that will be on your back and elbows a bit larger than they need to be (half an inch or so) so you have room for movement! When my elbows are bent I need more fabric than when they are straight, and since I used cotton there is not much stretch to them. To keep them from sliding I safety pin them to my shirt.
Tumblr media
Speaking of the shirt, I went for a fairly easy route to make it. I just bought a rigid black turtle neck from Value Village and painted the details on with puffy fabric paint for the red to create the illusion of a seam and then used regular gold fabric paint for the gold accents. For the button, I just found a silver button at Joann's that was the right shape and sewed it on.
DO NOT LET THE PAINT DRY BEFORE YOU TAKE OFF THE TAPE! For more crisp lines take the tape off while it is wet! I taped my shirt down to the floor so it wouldn't move around and smear and kept all roommates and animals clear of the area until it had dried.
Tumblr media
For the sword, I really lucked out and found a cheap katana at a thrift store that I just painted with acrylics and then sealed with mod podge. It was super fun to do and I was pleased with the outcome. Plus, her katana is way easier to make and store than hiraikotsu lol.
Tumblr media
(This is the photo I used as a reference for the back of her armor)
Now, you can stop there for her armor and have a fine time. It definitely worked for me. I used basic pink leg warmers for her shin armor and called it good because that is what I had the time and resources for. However, if you have time + resources to vamp it up more, here is what I did.
Tumblr media
I bought Artminds modeling foam from Michael's and sculpted it onto my preexisting armor to make it smoother in an attempt to get rid of the obvious knee/armor pad look. I really recommend using water to smooth it out while it's still wet. It'll be sticky while working with it but it makes it sooo much more smooth. I personally didn't have the correct tools to sand it out after it had dried so this was a great way to get the final product to have a nice finish.
One thing that I disliked about my first attempt was that the pauldrons were way too small. So while I kept the elbow armor the same size, I drastically built out the pauldrons by an inch or so, checking how they looked in the mirror periodically to make sure I wasn't going too big with them.
Tumblr media
they got a little turtle-y and I found I had to reshape them every few hours to make sure they didn't dry in the wrong shape. I did find it useful to make one at a time and use the one I wasn't working on as a mold by covering it in plastic wrap and placing the one being worked on over top of it.
Tumblr media
Once I got them to the right size, I rolled out a piece of foam to make a long cylinder and then carefully applied it to the edge of both the pauldrons and the elbow armor. This takes a lot of patience and water was very useful during this stage to help smooth it out. I found that the modeling foam lost shape easily and when picked up to move around it would stretch out and get super thin in spots.
To fix this I would scrunch it back together in the too-small spots and in areas where it was larger than it should be I gently pulled and rolled it to the underside of the armor so I could keep the cylinder shape but move the excess foam somewhere it wouldn't be visible. This also kind of helped to attach it more securely (I think...).
I once again used pink acrylic paint, silver metallic acrylic paint, and glossy mod podge to finish them off.
Tumblr media
I think this system worked out pretty well and I am much more pleased with the armor now than I was before!
Tumblr media
The elbow pads were easy to attach because I super glued the velcro from their old fasteners to the inside of the armor and to the red fabric fasteners.
Tumblr media
Velcro wasn't really a possibility for fastening the pauldrons because of how much they curved so I had myself a little reduce-reuse-recycle moment and mod-podged some thrifted doilies to the inside of them. Doilies or mesh would work super well for this, basically, the goal of this is to make something that's easy to get a safety pin in and out of and that is flexible so that it still sits correctly on your shoulder.
I also... marked which way the armor should be facing up to look best on my shoulders so I wouldn't forget in my sleep-deprived getting ready for con haze.
Tumblr media
For the shin and front/back armor I... made my own patterns using printer paper, a ruler, and a sharpie.
Tumblr media
For the shin armor, I measured my knee to make sure that the piece that would be covering it was both long and wide enough (I did four inches) and then free-handed the approximate shape of my knee. I made the band of the shin armor waaaay longer than it needed to be because it's way easier to take them in than to make them larger.
The most ingenious moment I had during this was making the band go up higher than it should so I could make a little flap to hem it down so I wouldn't have to worry about raw edges. (It was cut along the knee piece to make it a clean fold).
Tumblr media
I used quilted pink cotton as my fabric for a fun texture. Her armor is demon hide and this fabric is used for making armor padding that you wear under chainmail so it was fun to make armor out of something it's actually made out of!
After I cut out my fabric with my nifty pattern, I used silver metallic bias tape on the applicable areas. I very sadly learned that the only place you can buy silver metallic bias tape, not in bulk from amazon or from etsy is... Hobby Lobby... so there is that
Tumblr media
Then I got to sewing that bad boy! Here is what the back side looked like. I decided to hem the raw edges on the bottom just for my own peace of mind since it won't be visible/it'll be tucked into my boots. It's the thought that counts, I guess.
Sewing bias tape is pretty simple, you just stick to the outskirts of the bias tape and go slowly.
Tumblr media
I measured and re-measured to make this... so many times. I still think I should have gone thinner on my final product but... I digress. To make this pattern I essentially just made a very top-heavy cross or t shape and then connected the bottom into a triangle and made a rectangle on top that I rounded the top of. The inner lines on this pattern were me testing out the idea of a smaller size that I did not end up going with.
Tumblr media
I did try on and test my patterns before I cut/sewed anything and I highllyyyy suggest this. I do not have a photo of me sewing her groin/butt armor but it was essentially a longer more convoluted version of the shin armor but this time with a point! Points may seem scary but you just have to fold the bias tape on the point and pin it carefully before sewing it. I did leave all the edges raw because they would be covered completely by bias tape anyways and it would have just been a waste of time.
One thing I will say about the actual design of Sango and her armor is that the back piece of armor does not have a rounded top and is much shorter... I, however, did not fully process that information before I made both pieces to be the same so I have decided that I will not care about that.
Tumblr media
I'm still really pleased with the outcome!
And that is how I made and updated my Sango cosplay at different skill levels! For her pants, I just wear black leggings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then here are my cosplay test photos! I have yet to take the new and improved version to a con, but will very soon!
**Note these photos were taken before I figured out the doilies method so the pauldrons are not fastened as securely as they normally would be**
The contact lens I am wearing are the Geo Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown (Bambi series) from Pinky Paradise :)
If you have any questions on any parts of these feel free to send them in!

"AYAKA - THE EVE OF A SPECIAL WEDDING" (Novel)
TRANSLATION: NARU-KUN
PROLOGUE: JINGI & SANGO
* List of Chapters
The island is called Ayaka Island.
From Ayaka Island, which is made up of seven islands, people live mainly in Ichinoshima and Ninoshima in the north, and only one person lives permanently in Sannoshima. "Shinoshima" is considered a sacred object of worship by residents, and entry is generally prohibited.
So what are the islands like beyond?
Ayaka Island is an archipelago made up of seven islands. If so, there should also be "Gonoshima", "Rokunoshima" and "Nananoshima". If you have at least some interest in geography, you will probably have these types of questions. Visit the Ichinoshima library, take out an old map and confirm that the islands exist. If you're curious, you'll probably want to try it yourself.
But there is no way to go.
People in the town hall, railway workers on the sea train or fishermen sailing the nearby seas. When you ask about "the island beyond", everyone will just shake their head. You can't go there. The islands are isolated from the outside world by complicated ocean and air currents, and cannot be reached by normal means.
Normal media.
So can we get there using special means?
No one will answer that question.
If the questioner has good intuition, he will intuit that the answer is yes. You can probably guess it from the uncomfortable expressions on the faces of city officials, railroad workers, and fishermen.
And they too, sensing what the questioner has guessed, will say this to remind him.
"Don't try to go beyond Gonoshima. If you still want to be human."
++++++++++
That day, Sakawa Jingi was unusually alone.
The reason Yukito, who normally stays as a bonus, is not there is because his teacher, the Great Immortal Yanagi Makoto, has taken him away. He doesn't know where or what he went to. There are many mysteries surrounding Yukito Yanagi, who came to Ayaka Island as Yanagi's son three years ago, and like today, it happens once a month that Yanagi takes him somewhere.
He wondered if Yukito will cry again.
Although he was a little worried about it, it was comforting to be alone for the first time in a long time. Although Jingi likes his younger brother, there were, of course, times when he was lonely as a child, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief in his absence.
Should he invite his friends Kotaro Yashiki and Koichi Saruwatari to hang out with him, or maybe he should just catch some fancy fish and go sell it? While he was thinking about that, Jingi was walking aimlessly on the sandy beach.
He found a girl.
''......''
Jingi looked at the girl for a while, her flip flops getting wet from the waves. She was probably seven or eight years old, about the same age as him. Her long, wavy hair is blue-black and her eyes are pale red. Her thin pale blue dress was soaked and she had no shoes on her feet, which were sunk in the sand.
The reason Jingi was staring at the girl was because he was fascinated by her beauty... but of course not. She was simply an unknown face. Unlike Ichinoshima, the number of residents in Ninoshima is limited and it can be said that all children of the same age know each other.
"Who are you?"
Her pale red eyes turned to Jingi.
Her pale red lips parted, but no sound came out. Her expression was one of astonishment. It's like he didn't even know where she was.
Jingi tilted his head thoughtfully.
Since he has never seen her face, she could be a girl from Ichinoshima or a tourist. However, the fact that she was soaked and barefoot bothered him. It's still too early to play in the water, so he wondered if she fell off a tour boat somewhere and was swept away by the current by chance.
As he thought about that, tears suddenly appeared in the girl's eyes.
"Ah..."
The girl's shocked expression collapsed and she covered her face with her sand-covered hands as large tears fell.
Jingi grew impatient. Although he gained notoriety in Ninoshima at a young age, he was not so bad that he could remain calm in front of a crying girl. He quickly put down the backpack he was carrying and began frantically searching for something to calm the girl down.
There was a half-drunk cider.
Jingi grabbed it, took off the cover, and approached the girl as he kicked the sand and grumbled.
"Hey!"
The girl looked up. Every time she blinked, tears fell like jewels.
"This! Here! Don't cry!"
The girl looked at the bottle of cider that she had pressed to her nose as if it were something she was seeing for the first time.
The girl took the bottle.
"......?"
Still, she did nothing but tilt her head and continue looking. Jingi was furious and imitated drinking from the bottle.
"Hey, don't you know cider? That's how you drink it."
"......"
The girl followed him obediently. When she put her mouth over the bottle and tilted it, the carbonated liquid flowed into her mouth.
"Eh?! Pueh, cough, cough!"
She choked profusely.
Jingi caught the bottle of cider that she accidentally dropped. Looking at the back of the girl's head as she coughed, Jingi became even more anxious. He was afraid that she would start crying again, but she betrayed his expectations.
"Hehe, hehe."
The cough gradually turned into a happy voice. The girl looked up and looked at Jingi. She was laughing and her nose was running.
"It's so sweet and soft. Fufufu!"
"...Heh."
With that, Jingi also relaxed and laughed.
When he offered the bottle again, the girl accepted it naturally. She began to drink it slowly, as if she were taking a sip. Jingi sat next to her, who stuck out his salty tongue every time she asked. Their butts were cold from the wet sand, but none of the children on the island care about that.
"Hey, what's your name?"
"......?"
Once again, the girl looked at Jingi curiously, and then...
"Sango."
That's what she answered.
"Sango." He murmured softly, pointing at his chest with his thumb.
"I'm Jingi. Have you ever heard of Ninoshima's Jingi?"
"No."
Sango immediately shook her head, but Jingi didn't feel particularly discouraged.
"Oh, there it is. So, you're from outside. Where do you come from?"
"......"
After blinking several times, Sango looked around her and pointed in a certain direction.
"Over there."
She made a straight line to the horizon.
"Hmm. Maybe Tokyo. Well, let's go, Sango."
"Where to?"
"Anywhere, though. There's no point in being depressed in a place like this."
With that, Jingi stood up and started walking quickly.
Sango was staring at his back, still clutching the cider bottle. When he looked back after taking about five steps, she tried to get up in a panic and fell.
"Aaah."
The cider came out of her hand and fell onto the sand, and the carbonated water flowed onto the sand. Jingi sighed and approached Sango again.
"What are you doing?"
"...It's been a long time since Arukuno."
"Eh?"
Jingi frowned. He turned his back on Sango and crouched down, wondering if all the city's inhabitants were like this or if they all walked autonomous paths.
"It's really strange living in a city. Look."
"Eh..."
"I'll put you on my back. I bet you can't even ride on my back."
"No."
Jingi leaned down, resting Sango's weight firmly on his back, and then slowly stood up. As expected, she weighed more than Yukito, but not so much that he couldn't walk. Staggering, Jingi stood up from the sandy beach.
(For now, let's go back home. She's probably lost and if I take her to an adult, they'll probably be able to take care of her.), Jingi thought.
Suddenly.
Something shiny appeared in front of him.
"Ah?"
When he looked closely, it looked like some kind of jewel. It was small and flat, and although it was exposed to sunlight, it gave off a mysterious glow. Sango, who was clinging to Jingi's neck, had grabbed the gem before he realized it.
"What is this?"
Sango was close to his ear as she answered the simple question.
"Kisuirin."
"Eh?"
Jingi had no idea what that was.
However, his eyes turned to "Kisuirin". The jewel, whose brilliance changed intricately depending on the angle and reflected a variety of colors, was more beautiful than anything Jingi had seen in his short life.
Just when he was thinking, "Wow, how beautiful!", Sango was next to his ear again.
"In exchange for the cider. Do you want it?"
"What?! Really?"
"Oh, really."
At times like this, Sakawa Jingi was a boy who didn't hold back. He quickly grabbed it with one hand, raised it so that he could see it through the sun, and then let out an innocent voice.
"Yay! Thanks, Sango! Even if you ask me to give it back, I won't!"
"Yes."
Sango chuckled as she placed her lips on the back of Jingi's neck.
"Alright."
+++++++++++
Unfortunately, there was no one in the Amamiya residence.
Well, in that case, he just had to wait until they return. Leaving Sango on a cushion in the living room, Jingi tossed her a towel and a change of clothes. This is the clothes that Grandma Amamiya wears.
As expected, he couldn't help the girl change her clothes, so a few minutes after closing the sliding door, Sango's voice said, "Okay.", and Jingi opened it again.
"Uwah!"
He couldn't help but be surprised.
An excess of lace adorns the collar of the pale beige shirt. That is what is called Baba shirt. Seeing little Sango wearing it as a dress was indescribably funny. Sango tilted her head in confusion, but then noticed her reflection in the glass window and let out a laugh.
After laughing for a while, Jingi brought snacks and juice. The idea was that, if he ate it alone, he would be scolded for it, but if he excused himself by saying that he had served it to a customer, he would be forgiven.
"Hey, where do you come from?"
Jingi asked as he popped the bun, Sango idly dangling her legs on the terrace.
"Kisui no Sato."
"Sato? Is there such a city in Tokyo?"
"What is Tokyo?"
"What, you don't know about Tokyo?"
Sango shook her head.
Jingi crossed his arms and growled.
"Hmm..."
Sango bowed her head and crossed her arms in the same way.
"Hmm?"
"No, you don't have to imitate me. And then what? You're not from Tokyo, are you? Ichinoshima, then?"
Sango shook her head.
"Mmm.", Jingi groaned again. Sango tried to imitate him again, but he ignored her and thought about it.
It is not Tokyo, Ichinoshima or Ninoshima. To begin with, he found it very strange that she didn't know anything about Tokyo. Even small children who live in the countryside know Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto, and many of them want to go there one day.
So where exactly does Sango come from?
At that, Jingi stopped thinking.
"Well, I don't care. Here, eat this too. It's delicious."
"Yes."
As he gave Sango a dango, Jingi thought, "I should leave the rest to the adults."
He didn't have to think about where that girl came from. At that moment, what was more important was how many snacks he could eat with that broth.
Sango sat next to Jingi and started picking up some dango.
"Hey, Jingi."
"Yes?"
"The Kisuirin, which I mentioned before. Please take good care of it."
As she spoke in a hesitant tone, her pale red eyes looked at Jingi.
Jingi shivered involuntarily.
It was because she had a sharp gaze that was unbecoming of a childish person, as if she was looking directly at something.
However, Jingi was also a child. If a woman is scared, she will cry because of the infamous "Arakure Jingi" that echoes throughout Ninoshima. He puffed out his chest and spoke loudly.
"Okay! Even if you ask me to give it back, I won't!"
"I understand."
Sango smiled and put her index finger to her lips. At that moment, she had returned to being the innocent girl she was before.
Although he was suspicious of the change, he was not deeply worried. He stood up from the porch and pointed to the ceiling.
"There's a game in my room, so let's play."
"Yes, I will! What's the game?"
"You don't know either... well, I'll tell you. Bring that with you."
Sango started walking towards Jingi, carrying a tray of sweets. After almost falling, Jingi took the tray of sweets, sighed, and started walking up the stairs.
After that, they played several games together for a while.
He didn't really know anything about Sango. She seemed to have never seen television, much less a games console, and she looked curiously at the screen, asking all kinds of questions.
(Seriously, where does this girl live?)
That question came up again. However, as he taught Sango how to play and watched her play with fascination, he began to not care about it anymore. Watching Sango animate and move her body the way the 3D modeled characters flew and jumped was much more interesting than the game he had been playing all the time.
Finally, Grandma Miya returned.
Jingi briefly explained the situation to the old woman whose eyes widened when she saw Sango. The Amamiya family has owned the lands of Ninoshima for generations, and Grandma Amamiya has hidden power as a local celebrity. If you leave it to her, she won't care about it.
As expected, the situation went exactly as Jingi had planned.
Although the old woman was surprised, she still did not abandon the lost girl. She called some acquaintances, who called other acquaintances, and so on, and the information about "Kisuigu Sango" spread throughout the island in the blink of an eye.
However, that was all he expected.
Two hours after Grandma made the first call, many people began to enter and leave Amamiya's house. From the other side of the door he can hear whispers, sighs and desperate voices. He started listening to them all the time and it affected Jingi's concentration.
That's why he lost the match. Seeing the character fall into the hole, Jingi handed the controller to Sango and tried to open the door to see what was happening.
The door opened by itself.
On the other side, the old woman Amamiya and Makoto Yanagi were standing.
"Huh, Master? What's wrong?"
Looking at Makoto's expression, Jingi intuitively felt an unusual presence.
A calm and relaxed person who doesn't care about small details is the usual attitude of Makoto Yanagi, the "Great Hermit". He was staring at Sango with a stern look on his face that he had never seen before. Makoto asked Grandma Amamiya in a low voice.
"Is that the girl?"
"Yes."
Makoto nodded and entered the room. The old woman quickly grabbed Jingi's hand as he looked stunned.
"Jingi. Come here."
"No."
Reluctantly, Jingi left the room. Sango looked back. She compared Makoto and Jingi, who was about to be taken away.
Her pale red eyes blinked anxiously.
Jingi screamed desperately as his grandmother carried him away.
"Master! She is not a bad girl!"
Makoto looked at Jingi and smiled bitterly.
"I won't do anything too harsh. I just want to confirm something."
With that, he closed the door behind him.
As his grandmother carried him downstairs to the living room, Jingi kept looking back.
That was the last time Jingi and Sango met face to face.
"This girl is the daughter of Kisui Palace."
Later, Makoto explained it properly. With a serious expression on his face, which he doesn't always have, he sat him down in front of him and had a face-to-face conversation with him. Kurama and Ibuki came to see what was going on, but Makoto left them outside. It was rare that Makoto explained things so kindly and in detail to Jingi, his third disciple.
"Kisuinomiya is a prominent family in Gonoshima. They live their own lives in Gonoshima and have almost no connection with other human societies, do you understand what I'm saying?"
Jingi blinked a few times and then shook his head.
"Ah.", Makoto took a deep breath. He grabbed the tray of cigarettes that was next to her and let the spark fall.
"Well, that's right. That girl is a different creature from us. Don't forget everything that happened today, Jingi."
"......"
"I don't care if she is any other spiritual person, but Kisui Palace is really bad. They operate with a different logic than us. However, that girl seems to like you. If you don't do it right, you will be tricked."
Jingi thought for a moment and then asked.
"What happened to Sango?"
Makoto responded, exhaling smoke into the air.
"I will respectfully return her to Gonoshima. Like I said, I won't do anything abrupt. You and that girl will continue to live your lives as before."
Jingi didn't understand half of what Makoto was saying.
What he barely understood is that Sango lives in a different world than Jingi and his friends.
His friend who came from somewhere and played with him for a while was about to return home. He wasn't that obsessed with trying to restrain her, but he just asked a question that came to mind.
"Will we ever meet again?"
Makoto narrowed his eyes and shook his head silently.
"It's impossible. Give up."
Jingi nodded obediently.
"I understand."
There was no lie. Although he was known as a bad boy, he respected Makoto from the bottom of his heart. If Makoto, the great hermit and master of connections, says it is impossible, then it must really be impossible.
Still, he couldn't help but feel discouraged. Seeing Jingi with his head lowered, Makoto scratched his cheek awkwardly and then said in a serious tone:
"Ah... sorry to ask at a time like this, but did you get anything from that girl?"
Jingi looked up. Makoto drew an oval in the air with his finger, the size of a boiled egg.
"It's about this size and it's like shiny scales. If you have it, show me."
Jingi looked directly at Makoto and said in a clear voice:
"I have not received anything."
It was a big lie. He respected Makoto from the bottom of his heart, but that was different. She gave it to him, so it's his. If he showed that "Kisuirin" there, Makoto would probably confiscate it. He refused that.
Makoto didn't seem to have any doubts. "I see." He replied simply, and stroked Jingi's head with his large palm.
"I'm sorry. She's a friend you had a hard time making."
Those words made him feel a little guilty. But at the same time he started to think: "Okay, if that's the case, I won't be able to find out." Jingi didn't even respond and looked down with a solemn expression on his face.
The "Kisuirin" glowed silently in Jingi's pocket.
Twelve years have passed since then.

Would love to hear about Check Mate and Drag Me To Hell. 👀 Whichever you feel more like talking about. 😊
Thank you @eowynwise 😘
These are both at the ideas stage so I have a page full of random bullet points for each of them, but not much actual writing.
Check Mate is a modern AU.
Inuyasha is a professional chess player, and Kagome is a retail worker of some description, and they meet at one of those huge moveable chess sets at a park. She goads him into playing with her, and chats the entire time while they're playing. He's both irritated and intrigued by this person that is going out of her way to speak to him. She mentions that she's always wanted to travel and he lists off all the places he's been like a shopping list and she's in awe, and excitedly asks him about different monuments and museums. He scoffs and says 'no, why would I?' and she's aghast. Somehow she convinces him to send her postcards and he has to write to her about at least one beautiful place other than the hotel he stays in or the room where the chess tournament is being held. He sends a series of postcards from all over the world. At first they're short and sarcastic, like 'it's a beach. There was sand and shitty seagulls. Are you happy?' And then gradually he's more descriptive about things, like he's really trying to describe them for her. And they meet for coffee when he's back in her city and eventually they go back to her apartment and she's got every postcard up on the wall pinned to a world map so she can see where he's been. It will probably be a long one-shot. There's two things that still need more research before I write this - one, I don't play chess, so I need to give myself a basic understanding of it first and two, Inu in this has ASD, and I want to be sure that I am respectful and careful with how he's shown, and how he reacts to the world around him.
Drag Me To Hell is a comedy of sorts, modern AU.
Inu and Miroku are undercover cops working on an assault case. Someone is targeting drag queens, and the level of violence is increasing.
They're entered in a major pageant. Kagura is in on it, she's in charge of the competition. Kagome is stage manager, Shippou is special effects technician, Sango is make up, Kouga is security.
They have to be good enough to make it into the finals, because they're thinking that is when the next assault will take place, based on previous attacks.
Miroku charms his way in - he ends up actually realising he likes wearing ladies clothes, not all the time, but at home. He's not sure what to think about this, because he still feels 100% straight.
Inuyasha is not into that at all, but because he's already a good dancer, he really loves doing the routines. And he can't help flirting with Kagome when he's up on stage. And Kagome isn't sure what to make of it, because she's assumed he's gay.
Kagome asking Kagura - is insert Inu drag name gay? Because I don't know, it feels like she's flirting with me. Kagura - oh no, she's a 100% gay queen. Kagome.... damn.
This has been sitting in my wips folder for two years. And my main block to working on it is that I can't decide if they're all human or a mixture of human/youkai. Both would have pros and cons. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.

~The Life Of Being A Parent~
@inukag @keichanz @artistefish
[Helllllooooo I wanted to do this cute lil fic] [for InuKag week!! Hope you guys like it!! Just a little warning this does contain pre mature birth and small lime activity!]
When Kagome told Inuyasha that she was pregnant with their first child, was he nervous? Oh yes, but he was also very excited to be a father, he may not have known his own father, but he knew he would do his best to be the best father to his future child. Few months later, they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl that they named Moroha. and boy, she was a handful! Moroha would crawl all over the apartment to where sometimes she'd hide under their bed. By the time she was 1 she started walking and the one thing she loved was going into her mother's closet.
"Nonononono!!!!! Moroha!!!! Not you're" mother's favorite yukata!!!"
Moroha's little hands were covered in pink paint from finger painting and her hand prints were all over her mother's white and green yukata. Inuyasha cringed at the yukata as he looked upon the stained yukata. " Oh God.... Kagome is going to kill me...." Inuyasha softly sighed at a messy giggling Moroha covered in pink paint, and picked her up in his arms. " What am I going to do with you Moro?" Moroha clapped her hands and put her tiny hands on her daddy's cheeks. "Moorerowwhaaa...."
"Ahehahehehehe" Moroha giggling as she kept squishing Inu's cheeks.
Inuyasha knew he couldn't stay mad at his little baby everytime he'd look into her eyes he would give in and turn into mush.
" Sighhh.."
" you're such a little troublemaker little girl."
"C'mon, let's get ya cleaned up, then I gotta clean your Mama's yukata."
After, cleaning Moroha up, and taking the yukata to the cleaners, Inu decided to take Moroha to the park.
Inuyasha took Moroha to the little sand box and sat her down with the other toddlers and sat down six feet away at a bench.
Inuyasha watched as his daughter would play and share her toys with the other children, and all he could do was smile.
" She's gets bigger every time I see her."   Said a mysterious male voice.
Inuyasha turned around to realize that the man talking was his best friend Miroku.
" Huhh?, Oh! Hey Miroku."
" It's been awhile!" Miroku said as he put down 3 year old Hisui.
" Alright, Kin'u, Gyokuto, be sure you girls play nice with Moroha, and keep an eye on Hisui."
"Okay Daddy!!" Said the twins.
As the twins ran toward the sand box with Hisui in tow, both of the young Fathers relaxed for a nice peaceful day at the park with their children.
"So? How's Parenthood treating you and Kagome?"
Inuyasha stopped from drinking his water bottle to awnser Miroku's question.
" Well, not gonna lie saying it's easy, that little girl is such a handful that at times she drives me and Kagome crazy."
" Just today while she was finger painting, I literally left her alone for only a few minutes because I had to use the bathroom and by the time I got back, I saw that she went into our closet and took down Kagome's favorite yukata from the hanger."
Miroku's eyes went wide.
" Oh no don't tell me it was-"
Inuyasha heavy sighed.
" Yes.. the white and green one.. the one she wore for her college graduation.."
"Oh man... What did Kagome say?" Miroku cringed.
" Well I didn't tell her I took it to the cleaners, that poor yukata was covered in Moroha's handprint covers with hot pink paint."
" My friend I can only hope those stains come out."
"Keh, you and me both. "
" But you know what Inuyasha?"
"Hm?"
" That's parenting, the kids drive me crazy everyday, the twins fight over dolls, sometimes Hisui pulls Kirara's tails, and I've found a lot of Sango's $100 make up destroyed in the twins room"
Inuyasha gulped at thinking of Sango's reaction of losing all those cosmetics.
" But all that can be replaced, accidents happen, those little Rugrats may drive me up the wall and may kill my wallet especially with the cosmetics, but I love them all so much."
Inuyasha nodded thinking of on the day of Moroha's birth, of how scared he and Kagome we're, due to Moroha coming early at only 7 months. Inuyasha prayed that Moroha would be okay and would eventually grow despite how small she was. Soon after his prayers were answered, eventually he and Kagome brought Moroha home.
Inuyasha smiled at Miroku, then turned to Moroha.
" Yeah, that little baby does drive me & Kags crazy, but I wouldn't have it in any other way."
Miroku handed Inuyasha a strawberry Hi-C juice box for a toast.
Miroku raised his juice box, "To Parenthood."
Inu also raised his juice box
" Keh! To Parenthood." --------------------------------------------------------------------
Epilogue
Moroha was sound asleep in his arms, and he placed her inside her crib and he placed her favorite dog plushie next to her and she took a hold of it and snuggled with it.
Inu smiled at his sleeping baby girl, and brushed away her bangs. "You're just like your mother when she sleeps."
Inuyasha then turned off her little light and left her nursery, " Goodnight Moro." Inu then shut the door. Then when he turned around he didn't notice that his wife had come home from her business trip for the Higurashi Shrine.
"Hey there, Handsome~"
" Babe!" Inuyasha exclaimed
But Kagome sushed him
"Sorry, got a little excited."
" It's okay, Inu I missed you too."
Inuyasha then swept Kagome off her feet and took her to their bedroom.
" Hahaha, Inu you might wake Moroha!" Kagome whispered.
" Nah, she'll be fine, with the day she's had she's out like a house."
Kagome's eyebrow went up
"What do you mean by "With the day she's had?"
" Uhhhhhhh, I'll tell ya later babe," " let's make this night about you and how I'm going to treat my very own Princess"
Inuyasha said in a sensual husky voice.
Kagome then rolled her eyes, and smirked and pulled Inuyasha into a passionate lustful kiss.
" You have no idea how long I waited for this."
Inuyasha then laid them both on top of their bed as he slowing stroked up her thigh, made his way up her skirt, and started rubbing his index finger along her pink panties.
"Kagome...., you have no idea."
The night went as it went, that bedroom was very loud that night, and Moroha didn't hear a thing. As for the Yukata, well let's just say the little pink hand prints will never come out, but it did make it look unique in its own way.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Authors note
When I was a little kid I actually use to take my mom's make up and make weird potions with them, God she'd be pissed! XD
but eventually I grew out of that.

TROPE MASHUP
Stranded on a desert island+ poorly timed confession
MirSan?
Oooh ya know @mrfeenysmustache I don't think I've ever actually written MirSan before? Let's see how this goes:
--
Sango tore at the lowhanging tree limbs with more force than was likely necessary. How did these things always happen to her? Her life was straight out of a bad sitcom and the writers clearly hated her as a character. It had started out innocently enough. A nice little boat ride out into the lake. A lovely view, calm waters, her boyfriend Miroku showing just one more of his unlikely skills at being an expert rower and navigator.
In hindsight she could understand why he had chosen that moment to turn and ask her to marry him.
And her panicking and flipping the boat probably wasn't exactly the romantic moment he was expecting, but honestly after all these years together he should really know better than to spring this kind of thing on her. Hopefully the ring hadn't been too expensive - even though they were close enough to swim to the shore of one of the small islands the oar and the ring were definitely gone forever. Maybe her ruined proposal would be good for tourism. Fifty years from now some scuba diver or fisherman would find it and start a rumor that the island had pirate treasure or some other nonsense.
She finished collecting the small branches and made her way back to the beach where Miroku was sitting, staring blankly out into the sunset. From behind it was hard to tell if he was pissed or depressed - honestly she wasn't sure which option she prefered. She added the foliage to the small stack they planned to burn to signal their distress then walked towards the water. She ditched her shoes and sat down beside him, digging her toes into the warm sand.
"A simple no would have been fine ya know," said Miroku, breaking their long silence.
"A simple proposal would have been fine, too," she quipped back. "I don't need - or want - these kinds of grand gestures Miroku, you know that. Or I thought you did."
She let out a short huff through her nose then finally looked at her boyfriend. It was instantly clear to her just how upset he was. He really thought she was saying no? Sure she'd been caught off guard in the actual moment, but they'd talked about getting married before and she'd never given him any reason to think she didn't want this. His moment had been properly ruined, though, and she needed to make it right.
"Come on," she said, "we need to get started on our signal."
She stood and grabbed one of her sticks, but instead of starting a fire, she carried it back towards the shore and began to carve giant letters into the sand.
"What are you doing?" asked Miroku. "It'll be dark soon, nobody will see that."
"Somebody will," she said coyly, finishing the last letter and stepping out of the way. She watched as Miroku finally smiled for the first time in hours looking at the YES she'd written in the sand.

I also had a dream about this Wikipedia article -- with its subject matter also depicted directly -- concerning a white guy in Hawaii who'd died when he attempted to mitigate a volcano's imminent eruption using some vaguely-specified "rituals". Stuff like, "perfumes", messing with the sand around the volcano's crater (depicted in the dream as, like, the size of a small swimming pool), and trying to attack the spewing lava with this oversized boomerang like the one Sango has in Inuyasha (the article said "See also: the T(two unintelligible words) Katamari", which was apparently another oversized boomerang which had also been used in real-life or mythology).
The article noted something like ... "It is unclear what effect, if any, he had on the eruption; however, it is impossible to determine the precise details of what he did, because all notes, instructions, materials, items, etc. were destroyed in the eruption." The dream promptly depicted the scenery as burned and sooty, damaged by the eruption's ejecta, etc.

Situated on the shores of Talmine Bay near the hamlets of Melness, Bayview is an intimate, family-run, and dog-friendly campsite open to travellers from April to September. It’s also perfect for campers who enjoy wildlife watching, fishing, or hiking.
Campers on Bayview can use its toilet block with showers and chemical waste disposal area. Though electric hook-ups for camping vehicles aren’t available yet, you can head to the nearby townships for more amenities while also getting the chance to try the local pubs and restaurants.
4) Kyle Of Tongue Hostel And Campsite
This hostel on the banks of the Kyle of Tongue offers more than just private rooms and shared dormitories. It also has camping pitches and facilities that are adequately maintained by its friendly staff. We truly appreciate the views of the sea loch, mountains, and greeneries afforded to us during our stay. But what made it special for us was its central location to numerous hiking trails, such as the Tongue to Durness trail, Ben Loyal trail, and Kylesku Ridge trail.
The proximity of this wild camping destination to the sea loch ensures that water sports enthusiasts and avid anglers can fill their days with their favourite outdoor activities. We recommend sea kayaking down the Kyle of Tongue and spot the indigenous birds, dolphins, seals, and whales of Durness.

Kinlochbervie is more than just a stopover in Sutherland, Scotland. It’s also an amazing place to wild camp for those who want to explore Durness. Expect fantastic views of the sea, but make sure to double-check the weather forecast for your trip to stay on the safer side.
Overnight motor campers may also park in Kinlochbervie at an affordable rate. Note that this stopover does not feature a toilet or shower. As a well-loved NC500 stopover, it’s no surprise that Scourie ranks among our top choices for wild camping in Scotland. It has pitches for traditional tents, caravans, and motorhomes. The latter may also avail of the electric hook-ups offered by this campsite. Other amenities include a laundry room, a children’s play area, and a small shop selling basic camping supplies.
In addition to Durness, Scourie is close to the Handa Island Wildlife Reserve, a tiny island where you can find various animals, such as otters, puffins, and seals.
