seeing people with no empathy or kindness towards others makes me cringe. know that if you have the power to be kind to and considerate of others and you simply don't, I am cringing at you

the way summer has such a healing power. lying on your couch when the back door is open and you can hear the rain pattering against the deck. winding down the windows of the car to feel the wind, clean and bright, whirl by your face. waking up to golden light streaming through your window and birds chirping along that one tree near your house that has been there since you can remember. smiling while you’re still tucked away in bed because you know the day will last longer, and you know that it will be filled with fun and laughter and what’s green and beautiful. sitting on the edge of the sidewalk, ice cream dripping from your sticky fingers as your cousins eagerly lap at their popsicles. lying on the hard ground, eyes searching through the maze of entwining branches and leaves. taking the bus home after the movies, the world golden and tinged with orange glow. stepping out of your home ready for adventure, prepared to face the trees, the waters, the bright and warm world beyond the concrete of your home.

I LOVE remixes. my fave little songs that I can now listen to on repeat again. except this time they're just slightly different so have enough newness to excite me but enough familiarity to feel comfortable

not waking up with a pit of emptiness and despair would be nice. for once. thanks
