I've seen "Subspace Rhapsody" and it was absolutely brilliant and anyone who doesn't agree doesn't have ears.
HOWEVER
I'm even more mad that Hemmer is dead. I mean, Bruce Horak is in the episode, but could you IMGANIE having seen a bloody singing Hemmer?! Being absolutely grumpy to everyone only to burst out into a Celine Dion like song and everyone else is just dancing in the background dramatically with cloths that they throw into the air and throw themselves onto the ground and giving it their ALL!!
As soon as he ends he just clears his throat while they look at him like "Woha, Hemmer?", but he's just like "Don't you have work to do?" and leaves
[Uhura later catches him listening to "I will always love you". He will deny it.]

cris watches dr. who: s02e09 - "The Satan Pit"
"If they get back in contact - if you talk to Rose - just tell her… tell her… oh, she knows."
I think I've been to The Satan Pit. Great gay bar, dubious cocktails
One of my favourite jokes is the curseword cut short. (See also: every opening of Zoe's Extraordinary Playlist)
WHAT IS STRATEGY NINE. It better not just be "pack up your things and run"
“We should go down the seal.” Ida, you crazy! (Especially if even the Doctor thinks you really ought to be retreating at this point)
Psychoanalysis by the devil -- aka therapizing in bad faith
That's some unapologetic lingering on Rose's butt in those tunnels
Rose is amazing in a crisis, Danny is terrible
Poor Jefferson
Okay okay okay, but the devil as a galaxy-spanning urMyth is a really nifty idea
Is the Doctor taking a metaphysical leap as well as taking a literal plunge into the pit?
“Oh, she knows.” My heart
Tardis Ex Machina!
Poor Ood. :-( Strategy 9 apparently never included them
At least the captain gives the Ood names, a eulogy of sorts. It's the least they can do to the poor souls they've condemned to the black hole, but hey - at least they acknowledge the Ood are also victims in this, not cattle
7 out of 8 Tardes. A great frontier tale, set in space, including some of the stickier tropes (treating the Ood unfairly, for example). Also a great exploration of how profound the relationship between the Doctor and Rose has become
