Getting to know your character better
Here's some (hopefully) less basic things to think about when deepening your character.
- What would they be embarrassed to admit about themself? What would they deny about themself?
- Opposite to the above: What would they proudly admit, and what would they like to claim about themself?
- If caught in an inconsistency or a hypocrisy, how do they react? How would they go about fixing it, or alternatively, how would they go about denying and deconstructing it?
- How much, and how deeply do they think about other characters' opinions that aren't about them specifically? For example if they knew one of their friends liked or disliked another person, how much thought do they give it?
- Are they able to perform something 'Quick'? Do they prefer to sacrifice time over quality, or vice versa? How do they dispense effort per task?
- How patient are they with themself vs. Others? Why, and how so?
- How seriously do they carry other people's worries? How much does this impact their actions?
- What would make them focus on themself more?
- What would they Not want to change about themself? What parts of their self do they cling to, desperately? Even when those things would be already gone?
- Do they think of something as "Their thing", even though other people would disagree? Why so? Are they just not as open or upfront about it as they think? Or do they have gaps in self perception?
- Opposite of the above: Are there some things that others would consider "Their thing" in relation to your character, but they disagree? Why?
- How do they tread around controversial opinions? Is it case by case, or depending on company? In what way? Are they assured in their worldview or unsure? Are they open minded?
- How easily do they relate with other characters?

When around areas with large concentration of spirits the need to reap becomes like a hunger, and it is very difficult for her to retain her humanoid form.

🗡️Background:
She was once a creature of pure darkness, consuming the lost and forgotten. One day she attacks her own kind to protect a group of beings that were not supposed to be in their realm, After they fled she was torn apart and left for dead. Death was intrigued with how the Shade was able to overcome its natural instincts when something was out of place. The moon took pity on the Shade and aided Death in reforming the broken creature giving it new life.
With each death she wakes in a new realm from the lapping waves a moon flickers the tides.

New Muse - Ready to interact with you
He goes by the same name, but doesn't mind being given a name by others or being called "Avela/Antaris".
In the language he prefers to speak, these names mean something like "wind dancer". A nod to his wings, which give him great mobility in the air. His nickname is the same as that of his wingless counterpart.
It's unclear whether he too lived a human life like his wingless counterpart, or whether he "split" away from him like a ghost upon his death. But it is clear that he is not a demon. He is a moth and known among his own as one of the monarchs. He shares this position with Nivari, his girlfriend's older brother, Yania, Acareth and Layah, who also have the same rank as him.
He doesn't have or want any pets. It would be unfair, according to him, to tie an animal to someone. He sees them much more as friends, or as faithful companions whenever they are needed.
His character traits are very gentle. He only hurts his counterpart if it is in self-defense or if there is no other way. He doesn't punish anyone, even if something doesn't go the way he wants it to. He often asks others for help or asks politely if it is possible to try again.
Note:
→ Should he ever face his wingless counterpart, he will not hesitate to confront his mistakes. He is by no means afraid of him and his abilities. He doesn't see himself as more powerful, would equate his own abilities with his. More often he would defend himself with a handmade spear made of different metals, adorned with sapphires he had found himself. If even that doesn't help, magic comes into play.
Magical abilities:
Aerokinesis - The elemental ability to create, control, and manipulate air and wind.
Enticement - The ability to seduce and persuade others to obey one's will and fulfill one's desires.
Energy Wave - The ability to send out tremendous destructive waves of energy.
Power Absorption - The ability to absorb the powers of slain victims. It's a rare ability.
Sleep Induction - The ability to put others to sleep with a wave of the hand or via an elixir.
While he differs in character traits from his wingless counterpart, he still reacts to the same things as his counterpart. He enjoys tender touches, no matter where and no matter how, and he will not refuse them either.
