i mean muir has flat out admitted that gideon's shades are derived from dave strider. and a *lot* of tlt characters have blatant homestuck roots. i've said before that the problem with aradia going to the tltverse is that she's already there and her name is dulcinea septimus (the real one). tbh there's a good chance tlt started as davekat fic anyway. this is not to dissuade you from writing, the snake must eat its own tail sometimes
