She had a job to do that she couldn’t quite figure out. However when she walked into the kitchen she realized something was off. She wasn’t alone. There was someone in her house.

My 80 year old grandma with Alzheimer’s has started kenobi. These are the comments so far:
“Where is old obi-wan? This one is a good actor but he looks like boy band Jesus.”
“I never thought someone so young could look so much like a disappointed parent.”
“If he doesn’t stop frowning like that, his face will stay up that way.”
“Does he really blame himself for the fall of a boy who he didn’t even know was married?”
“Kenobi seems like someone who claps when the plane lands.”
“I bet he would be a good cook. He slices up Vaders legs so easily.”
“Killing kids is wrong but maybe after the journey with the twins, kenobi might see them in a new light.”
“Do you think that I could pull off a look like the third sister? I mean I sew. Maybe I should crochet.”
“I think Obi-wan is like a goth because he’s sad.”
“Ben isn’t a cool name. Why didn’t he pick like a Star Wars name?”
“Why doesn’t he find a woman? There is no council anymore.”
“Obi-wan was smart to be among the sand for it is Darth vaders weakness. Like should have stayed among the sand.”
“Why is bail a senator if his wife was a queen?”
“Obi-wan is shocked Anakin is so sassy when he raised him.”
“I feel like obi-wan would write a fail on Anakin himself like he did back on the temple with his essays.”

Leia sat up and wiped the tears from her eyes. She took a few deep breaths and tried to gain her composure. She still wasn’t sure why she stayed with John. He may have given her life stability but he treated her like shit. As she grabbed her keys and her purse to go to the store, pulling at her sleeves to try to keep the bruises hidden when she walked out the door, she remembered why she stayed. Those bruises were all the reminder she needed. She couldn’t get help. She was trapped with him and he wasn’t letting her leave. Leia was the trophy girlfriend that he probably intended to make the trophy wife.

Across the Stars is an AU Star Wars roleplay set in 3 BBY • 16 years since Order 66 and a few years before the film A New Hope. The Jedi Order is all but extinct, the once benevolent Republic gone, as the shroud of the Dark Side has fallen across the Galaxy.
