it had been a long time coming - how many dates now? five? and he (romeo) and his (bruno's) family got along great. so great that santana and isabela had become close friends. shared secrets... dolores knew all there was to know about the people of the Encanto, though. and she spilled those secrets to bruno in a nights time.
and apparently, bruno had been missing some clues that romeo was leaving him on their dates. clues that only made sense when his sobrina, dolores, told everyone in the family about how said dates ended... chismosa, he called her.
but apparently he needed the extra help from his sisters
julieta suggested he take things slow. pepa said women like that loved a more straightforward man, and he needed to get his act together. their husbands nodded in agreement... smart men.
he used his future-sight to see how a kiss with ro would end, to tell him the result of what would happen the day he decided to finally kiss her
he got nothing. he had to make the decision to kiss her first. and since he was undecided... his fortune only showed him his own grieving anxiety
so he would just do it. his talk with dolores made it clear he couldn't wait any longer. he was ripping the band-aid off.
he walked in long, certain strides up to ro, who was playing with antonio's jaguar, bibiana, when she saw him. a bright smile appeared on her face.
" bruno," she said, moving to stand from her chair, but he made it to her first
he grabbed her shoulders, sat her back down, and gave her a strong, loving kiss.
her lips were soft. and they tasted faintly of julieta's arepas... bruno was reminded of how intricately their lives had been tangled together. God, he really was his, wasn't he?
he might actually be the one.
they stayed there for a moment, and bruno dared only open his eyes upon deciding to pull away.
when he did, he saw her eyes were wide in shock.
" bruno," she stuttered, face alight with red.
" romeo," he whispered, smiling and giving his boyfriend a small nod. "... i know i wasn't fast enough, but - "
" that was well worth the wait," romeo whispered, still scarlet.
bruno grinned.

Expanding Plume from DART's Impact

Explanation: What happens if you crash a spaceship into an asteroid? In the case of NASA's DART spaceship and the small asteroid Dimorphos, as happened last week, you get quite a plume. The goal of the planned impact was planetary protection -- to show that the path of an asteroid can be slightly altered, so that, if done right, a big space rock will miss the Earth. The high brightness of the plume, though, was unexpected by many, and what it means remains a topic of research. One possibility is that 170-meter wide Dimorphos is primarily a rubble pile asteroid and the collision dispersed some of the rubble in the pile. The featured time-lapse video covers about 20 minutes and was taken from the Les Makes Observatory on France's Reunion Island, off the southeast coast of southern Africa. One of many Earth-based observatories following the impact, the initial dot is primarily Dimorphos's larger companion: asteroid Didymos. Most recently, images show that the Didymos - Dimorphos system has developed comet-like tails.

Someone disguises as MC to dig out information from the ROs *gasp* Can they figure it out before it's too late?
I’m just going to picture that the impersonator has doppelgänger ability like Cara’s or illusion one like Yvette’s, so they look almost or even indistinguishable from MC physically 🤔
I’d like to think, of course, that all of them once they actually get together with MC or know them good enough (namely Santana and Skylar), would be able to figure out that it’s not the real MC they’re talking to. But the speed of which they notice and find out would differ 😆

They might ask the fake MC what’s wrong or whether they’re feeling okay. But with more weird behaviour, they will quickly become suspicious and wary, and then they will finally figure it out—could’ve been faster if not for their complete trust in MC, but they will figure it out just in time.
Rin
At the very first hint of weird behaviour or attitude from MC, no matter how minor, they’re immediately suspicious. They’ll then proceed to subtly test and talk with the fake MC about memories or things that only real MC would know, putting the fake one’s ass on the grill.
Would totally be the first one among the ROs to figure out because of this.
Santana
Probably would take them more time than Ash and Rin to start noticing something weird, especially when they’re tired, but once they do, they’ll immediately be suspicious and on guard just like Rin.
At first, if the inconsistency is minor enough, they might chalk it up to them or MC just simply being tired or running on low sleep. But if it happens again or a more major inconsistency happens, they would immediately become alert, but also wouldn’t let the potential fake MC know that they’re onto them.
They’d prod around subtly, trying to gauge the fake MC’s reactions to some things they know MC has strong feelings about. Or, if they want to be 100% sure, they’d probably try to activate their power on MC.
Would probably take a bit longer than Rin, but would be able to figure it out pretty quick (depending on how exhausted they are at the time). What kind of detective would they be if they failed 😭
Skylar
Probably would be the last to find out among the ROs, not because they’re not familiar with MC or anything, but they love to gush to MC everything about their day or something they find interesting 😭
Hence, the impostor can kinda go under the radar a bit just by listening to their stories and commenting on it every once in a while. But actually, depending on the type of person your MC is, that can be the impostor’s downfall as well.
And also, Skylar’s talkativeness might also end up revealing the impostor because imagine if the impostor didn’t have a pretty strong reaction to Yvette while the real MC hates her or something 🤔
I feel like that’s how they would end up figuring out the impostor. It is definitely slower than the others, but they would know. Once they become suspicious, they’d still act as if they don’t know, just all smiles and lulls the impostor into a false sense of security before cornering and confronting them later on.

INICIAÇÃO ESPORTIVA: Programa Talentos do Futuro beneficia mais de 2 mil crianças e jovens em 13 modalidades
Durante os treinos, os pais e responsáveis sempre acompanham os alunos
A iniciativa da Prefeitura de Porto Velho, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Esporte e Lazer (Semes), tem melhorado aspectos físicos, sociais e mentais de crianças e jovens com o Programa Talentos do Futuro. Mais de 2 mil crianças e jovens, entre 6 e 17 anos, participam gratuitamente das escolinhas esportivas em 13 modalidades disponibilizadas na capital e nos distritos.
As aulas são de karatê, taekwondo, judô, futsal, vôlei, futebol de campo, basquete, handebol, flag football, natação, capoeira, xadrez e ginástica rítmica. Os treinos acontecem em vários polos como por exemplo: Ginásio Eduardo Lima e Silva (Dudu), Quadra Sérgio Carvalho, Parque Aquático Vínicius Danin, Vila Olímpica Chiquilito Erse, Quadra João Lima de Souza, Academia Dragon, Associação Jardim Santana, Quadra do bairro Três Marias e outros pontos espalhados pelos distritos.
O programa oferece oportunidade para as futuras gerações. Durante os treinos, os pais e responsáveis acompanham os filhos em diferentes modalidades. Natan Rodrigues é pai da atleta Ana Laura, 7 anos, que começou este ano na aula de natação, no Parque Aquático Vínicius Danin. “Eu sou professor de jiu-jitsu, tentei incentivar minha filha a seguir a modalidade comigo, mas ela gostou da natação. Estou muito feliz com os resultados obtidos até agora”, disse o pai.
Quem também faz questão de acompanhar os treinos da filha é a estudante Caroline Trindade. A filha, Laura Ester, de 8 anos, é atleta da modalidade de ginástica rítmica há dois anos. “Quando eu fiquei sabendo desse programa, fiz questão de colocar minha filha. Hoje ela apresenta bons resultados, evoluiu bastante e esse ano a expectativa é que ela participe de competições. Estou muito feliz e vou continuar trazendo ela em todas as aulas”, conclui.
INCENTIVO
Os alunos recebem uniformes e lanche durante os treinos. Nilson Souza incentiva o filho Luís Miguel, 10 anos, para que ele não falte às aulas de futebol de campo e, quem sabe, através do esporte possam conquistar sonhos. “Nem sempre eu consigo acompanhar nos treinos, mas a mãe dele vem sempre. Eu digo para ele nunca desistir dos objetivos e se ele sonha em ser jogador de futebol nós vamos apoiar até o fim. Agradecemos muito pela oportunidade que o Talentos do Futuro está oferecendo”.
De acordo com a secretária da Semes, Ivonete Gomes, o programa é uma oportunidade para esses alunos começarem a sonhar. “É muito importante o apoio da família. A gente sempre observa que os pais acompanham os treinos. Isso é um incentivo para os filhos e principalmente para eles notarem o desenvolvimento deles durante os treinos”, finaliza a secretária.
