Viper - She/it/they - Polyamorous Aroflux Lesbian - Librafeminine - Okay. This might be purely projections but I’m a firm believer that Chamber and Viper are more queer platonic partners than romantic partners, again, I might be projecting as I am aroflux myself but let me have this

Astra - They/she/star - Lesbian - Listen I know that Galaxsea is great but I love Astra, Skye and Harbour as a gay/bi/lesbian trio, also because I love to think of their dynamic as a siblings

KAY/O - He/It/They/Bot/Toaster - no romance - I feel like he wouldn’t describe himself as aro/ace? Mainly because he doesn’t care. The neo pronouns were given to it by KJ as a joke, but the neos ended up sticking

Chamber - He/it/gold - Polyamorous Pansexual - They guy is so desperate he will try anyone. Honestly the guy just wants to be loved but at the same time is terrified of commitment

Neon - She/they/shock - Pansexual - Neon likes everyone, I don’t make the rules(but I do)

Fade - She/they/dae - Ambiamorous Lesbian(or omni fem lean idk) - Fade kisses Viper all the time fr(Fearbite real)

Harbor - He/it - Polyamorous Gay - HE KISSES MEN !!!!!!! You cannot look at this man and tell me he doesn’t kiss men on a daily basis

Devlog 2023-09-22

It's another Friday! And it's a long weekend in South Africa.

The past two weeks haven't been kind to me. We were without water for a few days, and we were back to being without power for 9+ hours per day, but that seems to be over now. We're back to having water, and the daily power cuts are down to the regular 2-4 hours per day, which I can deal with.

My day job has also been particularly busy, not that I'm complaining, as it pays the bills. We're working on some large deals, and I've been asked to be part of a prestigious upcoming event. I've also been meeting with some fascinating business individuals, which always leaves me energised and motivated! My only complaint is time. To quote Bilbo Baggins, "I feel thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread."

But the rest of our amazing team has been incredible with picking up the slack!

Crowbie has been expanding on my drafts and working on the content for Episode 4, Tae has done what feels like a gazillion new characters recently (The six aliens we've teased, four new side characters for the crew, the Spooktober outfits, and so much more!)

Stoffies has had some health issues from too much drawing, and he has to take it a bit slower, with some scheduled downtime happening from December. We snatched HiroDan, our other background artist, from a still unannounced project to step in and help out in the meantime.

Backgrounds always seem to be the bottleneck when it comes to new content, but we're still set on launching the next public release of Infinite Stars in November. At worst, we'll have to use some placeholder art, as I don't want to delay the release much longer.

I'm regretting the whole Spooktober thing.

I'm anxiously watching the deadline approach as I wasn't bargaining on the extra distractions. Even without the extended power cuts and increased day job workload, we were on a thin margin of available time. I've always wanted to participate, so we'll see it through!

Doesn't Reyna look enchanting in her Halloween Heist costume? A lot of you voted for Reyna to be dressed as a witch, and I can't wait to share the other costumes!

I still have a lot of day job tasks to get through, and I'm also hoping to get some more Infinite Stars work done, so I'm going to politely bow out and get back to work.

I did it! I ended one planned art project: the Green Lantern portraits were born in caos after knowing the Razer and Kilowog appearance on Young Justice. It intrigued me and I made the first one with the new Razer version, later Aya and today with Hal, I finished publishing all the crew, meanwhile preparing for Finals. I had already planned art things but I wanted to follow my heart, put my goals and I accomplished almost all of them daily.

The fact that someone liked them and reblogged them, made me really happy!!!

I know there is a lot of media that addresses this concept better than I can do in such short snippets, and I definitely encourage you to seek it out. Mostly I just want these bite sized dailies to get people pointed in the right direction rather than be a full course meal in their own right. I actually started this project some time ago, to coincide with (not)Inktober 2020. I'd been noticing a lot of artists struggling - in no small part due to that year’s (not)Inktober challenge. I knew a lot of people were stressed from COVID, feeling pressured to perform, and frankly burning themselves out. So I decided to make daily tips on how to be a better artist *without actually making any art*. It seems counter intuitive, but I think there were a lot of folks at that time who’d really spread themselves thin and just need to take a breather. Artists in general are perpetually at risk of burn out, especially within the current algorithm driven web culture. So I hope these serve as a guide and a set of reminders to help people, both beginners and veterans, through these strange times we're living in. Even when we just need to take a break and de-stress we can still move forward together.

✎↷: hello my lovely bee <33 yes, i’m going to stick with my main/favorite pairs for this and no i can’t be stopped! this is a bread reports cause i want to keep valorant headcannons itself focused on the agents as a whole, and this post is more personal!

here are the pairs: nanobite (killjoy and viper), firebird (sova and phoenix), reyge (reyna and sage), and junglestorm (jett and skye)!

nanobite

killjoy doesn’t keep her mouth shut. she goes on tangents about obscure things and various concepts she’s noticed, and as someone who gravitates more towards affection and physical contact, it’s completely natural for her to reach out to viper. their closeness isn’t described or noticeable by touch, but the way that killjoy looks to gravitate around the scientist, floating behind her and checking in on her. killjoy is animated in a humorous contentness, constantly moving her hands or doing something while she talks, and often it would be centered around viper and the way the woman acts around her.

for them, there is no reason to hide their relationship. they won’t outwardly come out with it, but as viper will beckon killjoy to her in the middle of the mess hall, it’s clear that there’s something going on despite their silence. killjoy can only be sneaky with things if they’re illegal, and her love for the smaller serpentine woman is not illegal, thankfully! however, as much as viper would enjoy to indulge her maus, she has her own limits that the engineer has come to respect. it isn’t like some back and forth, and more of a mutual understanding of what they will and won’t do.

privacy is also important to them. should a moment be too heated and warm, the toxicologist will likely drag killjoy away by the collar to tend to her elsewhere and settle unspoken needs. omen had sat around to witness this once, his eyes curious when the corners of sabine’s ears turned a flushed red when killjoy mentioned something particularly crude. how could he not give that his attention— it was a new thing for viper to expose herself beyond the boundary, even with a long-term companion like omen.

at then, killjoy squeaked a pathetic cry and gave omen a hasty wave of her hand as viper dragged her away by the wrist. this is a new memory, a new side, omen notices. he will keep it.

firebird

phoenix doesn’t need anyone else’s validation, so the whole idea of admitting to the whole protocol that he’d been snoozing with a pretty blonde russian man for a few months into his contract felt unholy. none of the others should be into his man, whether or not he stakes down a boundary for others to see and stay far away from, but it’s just a thought, okay!? sova thinks it’s cute in the way phoenix flutters and spits lame excuses whenever he subconsciously grabs for sova’s hand or arm while they’re in public, but for the sake of his partner’s dignity, he doesn’t say anything about it.

word spreads about their relationship quickly. jett, as the wingman, has to take pride in at least one of her mighty works in the last few months! she’s worked hard in getting these dense fools together, goddamnit, so let her take some credit! the younger half of the agents are tittering about it not even a full week in, and sova and phoenix became unfortunately aware of this by astra’s whooping cries and raze’s cheers and hollers when they entered a room together. they weren’t even holding hands.

it doesn’t take long for the rest of the protocol to catch on either, and sova swears he caught brimstone giving him an approving nod as he passed by after a mission with phoenix. it’s always a relief when the agents learn to take breaks and get what they can out of life while they still have the choice to, and by all means, the older american is a proud supporter of his two prideful agents. they grow up so quickly... and if sova could keep an eye on Phoenix for brimstone, there’d be a whole platter taken off of his table. two birds with one stone!

reyge

sage isn’t a trophy wife, and she refuses to call her that. but reyna is absolutely shameless in the way she possesses sage and treats her, fingers digging into the side of sage’s hip here or her lips lingering against her neck when the healer is taking part in an activity as mundane as sitting. her forwardness helped the monk into becoming more realistic with her feelings towards the mexican, though it didn’t excuse the conflicting between a serious environment and reyna’s overwhelming shade of want.

again, they don’t need to say anything to know it. reyna does, technically, but it’s only when someone gets too close to sage for her liking. the vampire will happily snap her jaws at them if it means keeping sage all for herself, to which the chinese monk would sigh and remind reyna of her unhealthy practice yet again. it’s a work in progress between getting reyna to listen to her, but when the time calls for it, sage and reyna both know that the vampire will do well to obey to sage when the healer wisely exercises her authority over the group.

reyna flexes sage off. “i can’t come,” she purred to viper, having a distantly loving look on her face as she leaned against the palm of her hand. “i have a date planned with the little dove today, and you know i can’t keep her waiting.” “last time i checked, reyna, your ‘little dove’ is a monk who exercises patience on the daily just by dealing with you. go do your laundry now, thank you.” it’s not effective when most of the agents have nowhere near a crush on the woman who hardly smiles outside of the strained and professional ones, but reyna has to say what’s hers stays hers.

their relationship is especially obvious when sage and reyna were sparring together, neither holding back from practicing their various techniques and martial arts. what they were caught in was an intricate dance, one that was intense enough to where those who wanted in originally backed out for something better to do with their time. the pair stayed in the gym until late in the night, to which they had only just decided to take a proper break. god, the things that passionate crime-fighting non-existent love making does to people...

Percy Jackson Characters as High School Students

Percy: -Waits for the last minute to do an assignment -Is captain of the swim team -Always has Annabeth tutor him when he doesn’t understand something -Dozes off a lot in class -Studies the night before a test but studies hard (he has a lot of good study tips from Annabeth) -Goes to the bathroom at least twice every class cause he drinks so much water -Seems like the slacker troublemaker who will fail every class but he actually works hard and does all his work so he can get into a good college with Annabeth -Friends with everyone in his class -Never raises his hand but usually knows the answer -Has a label as a trouble-maker but hasn’t ever actually done anything bad and tries hard to break himself away from that label

Annabeth: -In all honors and AP classes -Works the hardest out of everyone -Always asks for extra credit even though she has a 5.0 GPA and gets good grades on every test and assignment -Likes to read and study in the library -Everyone goes to her when they’re stuck on something and she’s always willing to help -The one to read in math class -Daydreams about random things during lessons she already knows everything about -Does quite a few extracurricular -Leader and founder of the school’s book club -Usually has a hot chocolate or coffee with her

Jason: -Captain of the football team -The Golden Boy -Half the class loves him cause he’s so nice and the other half hate him cause he’s such a teacher’s pet -Never breaks the rules or cheats -Nice to everyone and studies hard -Sucks at science -But he’s pretty good at math -Loves gym class -The one to tell people (especially Percy, Thalia, and Leo) to focus when they’re goofing off in class -Super inclusive and will always invite someone who’s sitting or working alone to join him

Piper: -That one kid in class everyone knows but isn’t super popular -Pretty decent GPA but doesn’t want a formal job -Does the best in history class -Chews gum super loudly in class -Uses ten different colored pens for notes -Has a bunch of stickers on all her notebooks and folders -Focuses in class most of the time but will sometimes doze off -Studies well but doesn’t care that much about education -Overall a good student but not the best in some classes -That one girl every guy has a crush on but she doesn’t want to make any new friends cause she’s never sure if they like her for her or for her money

Frank: -The Softie -Everyone loves him, including teachers -Will apologize like he stepped on a puppy if he misses one assignment -Studies really hard but sometimes doesn’t get the lesson -Loves being tutored by Annabeth, she’s one of the only ones who can explain the lesson without making it confusing -Participates in a bunch of extracurricular and sports -Can’t do math for shit -Would never cheat even if his life depended on it -Nice to everyone but won’t hesitate to get all up in a bully’s face -Brings a bunch of snacks to class and shares with everyone

Hazel: -Participates in all the plays and musicals (and usually gets the starring role, she’s a great actress and singer) -Super nice to everyone and people try to take advantage of that but she’s actually tough as hell and her motto is ‘Do no harm but take no shit’ but overall she’s a literal gem (pun intended) -Usually sits in the back but always raises her hand when a teacher asks a question and won’t hesitate to ask a question when she’s confused -Actually super smart and loves reading and does really well in her classes -Loves history class -In French class but it’s super confusing for her cause she grew up learning Louisiana French, not France French -Has a super organized desk, backpack, and locker and all her notes are super neat and pretty -Writes in cursive all the time -Focuses a lot but tends to daydream when the lesson is too boring -Loves listening to music and chewing on ice and pencils while she’s working and studying

Leo: -Can’t pay attention for shit -But he’s extremely smart so he gets good grades in everything, especially math -People are surprised when he gets a 100% on the test almost everyone failed and he always gets accused of cheating -Always willing to help tutor people in math -Fidgets a lot and taps his pen furiously on the desk while taking a test -Always cracks jokes and is the class clown and the teachers secretly love him even though he’s their worst nightmare -The one to put gum under the desks -Doesn’t focus in class but studies super hard and might miss one or two assignments when he’s busy or stressed out and is in all Honors and AP classes -In a bunch of different after-school groups -On the basketball team

Reyna: -Also super smart and seems super intimidating but is actually really approachable and nice and loves helping people who are stuck -Gets good grades in pretty much everything and is one of the smartest in the class and is also in all Honors and AP classes -On the football team and loves gym class (especially weight-lifting class) -Usually quiet and serious but will joke around like Leo during lunch and study hall -Whenever someone’s too shy to ask a question to the teacher, they go to her or she asks the teacher for them -Will punch a bully in the face without question -Everything she has is super organized and neat, especially her handwriting -The best at group projects and everyone chooses her to be in their group first but she’ll always pick Nico over them -Comforts stressed out students, gives the best mom hugs, and even brings them coffee and breakfast at times -Always has a coffee with her that she’s willing to share with anyone along with any snacks she brings and as the Mom Friend she often brings snacks to class to share with everyone

Nico: -The one kid that’s still emo in 2021 -Super quiet but focuses and studies really hard -Tries his best to get good grades but since he missed the last century or so has a lot to catch up on with math, science, history, etc. and Reyna and Annabeth are always willing to help him -Mixes energy drinks and coffee -Is also- along with Reyna- a great comforter for stressed out students -The teachers worry for him cause he’s so quiet and reclusive but really he’s in a great place, he just doesn’t like social interaction -Does his homework last minute or at 3 AM -Wears a bunch of pride merch to school and sends death glares to anyone who looks at him weird (so will Reyna, Jason, and Hazel) -Studies for finals three weeks before they arrive -Mostly in regular classes but in one or two Honors

Thalia: -The punk and basic trouble-maker -Every teacher hates her but all the students love her cause she’s so hilarious, rebellious, and badass -Won’t hesitate to point out a teacher’s bullshit (‘The bell doesn’t dismiss us my ass it’s called the dismissal bell Karen’) -Gets into fights a lot -All the teachers want to bust her but they can never catch her in the act -Vandalizes the school on a daily basis -Pretty smart but doesn’t bother with the work or focusing even if she knows she can -Though she does have pretty decent grades cause Reyna forces her to do the work -Will protect any and every student against a rude teacher or staff member no matter what -On the track team and is a super fast runner

Rachel: -Art nerd (and theater nerd) -Participates with Hazel in the school’s plays and musicals -The best in art class and can do Van Gogh-level paintings -Always brings iced tea and a variety of fruits to class -Skips lunch to draw and paint more in the library -Friends with pretty much everyone and spoils her friends with super cool and expensive school supplies -The most popular besides Jason -Above average intelligence and does really well in her classes, loves helping others and has a really good GPA, is in quite a few Honors and AP classes, and studies and works hard -The only one who can actually focus but will get distracted with sketching random things (especially things in the class) often -All her notes are super colorful and pretty with a bunch of drawings in the margins and she drew all over her notebooks, folders, and backpacks and will sometimes unintentionally draw really detailed drawings all over the desks

More of a scrapbook than a journal

Pressed leaves, photos of places he’s been

Even random items tucked in it

And it’s just so colourful

And a little bit of a mess

And he kinda needs to stick things in

Annabeth’s is for her future plans

She has goals written in there

Daily goals and long term ones

Half-finished blueprints

As well as inspiration for architecture

Grover’s is uh

And even he’s not sure what it’s supposed to be

It’s just

Everything

But a lot of surprisingly good poetry and songs

And some really cute sappy stuff

Piper also has a lot of song lyrics

But they’re pre-existing songs that she likes

There’s so many pictures

It puts Percy’s to shame

And a lot of her rants about what needs to be fixed in the world

But also a lot about what she thinks is good

Jason’s is more of an inventory

It’s a way for him to keep track of his training

Like. What he’s done each day and what he needs to do

And a way to keep track of stuff around camp

But there’s a lot of feeling stuff in there too

Even if it’s mostly neatly torn or crossed out after

Leo’s is

Reyna’s is more like Jason’s

3- Are they open about their relationship? How do they feel about public displays of affection?

They are both extremely public lol, like Nina might have troubles accepting love and all that but she has dated before and she likes it, people knowing about her love life doesn’t bother her. I think Leon is in a similar situation, he has dated before and there is nothing bad with people knowing about him & Nina, he is happy about it.

And to the irritation of their suitemates they don’t have problems at all about PDA. This is the way both Nina & Leon show affection, she sometimes doesn’t trust what her mouth will say when she is with Leon but she can trust the displays of affection: a long kiss on the mouth, a soft kiss on his eyebrow, sitting on his lap. And then I think Leon craves the touch, so the public displays don’t bother him at all

18- What are their dates like? How long do/did they date? Do they ever feel the need to take a break from each other?

Their dates are always different! Their daily dates are usually going for coffee and just talk about random stuff, or try a restaurant with food they never had before, it doesn’t have to be a fancy place they only care for good food. They also really like clubbing, so if they have time the go their too. However they like to the other things too. Leon really likes taking Nina to museums and art exhibitions because she loves them, she starts rambling about an art piece for like 15 minutes and Leon gets fascinated by that. Nina likes to take Leon for new experiences, like a human zoo or an amusement park.

The “how long did they date” is kind of tricky lol. They started going out together on dates at the start of freshman year, but it was more of a casual think...until it wasn’t anymore lol. Like they kissed and talked and all that but they probably had never said “well, there are feelings involved here/I like you” until they were on the lake together during the break. I mean, at that moment they had to sit and talk about what was happening between them because it clearly wasn’t something casual anymore

And I don’t really think like they need a break from each other. Both Nina and Leon are really independent about their lives and aren’t those couples who are always together, DESPITE living in the same dorm lol. But like, she has her classes and he has his; Nina hangs out with Astrid or Katia and he does his things with Cyrus and Thalia, etc, like they see each other everyday but it doesn’t feel like a bother at all. However, Nina has been a little distant, mainly because I think she has a lot on her mind with the Keeper thing, plus coming to term with her feelings for Leon and Reyna coming back to life, so her “everything is fine, nothing can wear me down” mask is starting to crack and she scared about that.

38- What are they like in the bedroom? Any kinks/fetishes/turn-ons? Anything they won’t do?

aksjaksja WELL, they are both horny, have a lot of stamina and can get pretty creative (especially living with so many people lol); Nina is pretty dominant in bed and Leon enjoys that A LOT, but once in a while they like to switch.

Regarding kinks and all that: My hot take is that Leon as an oral fixation, so he really likes fingers in mouths or when Nina bites her lips, kissing erogenous zones and stuff like that (even if it’s not in a sexual situation and for example, Nina bites her lips while thinking, he will start to get turned on) and he also likes when his partner is vocal/expressive, which Nina is. Nina has a fascination with hands, so locking hands over the head while having sex or when Leon slowly traces his finger through her arm/leg/neck/etc without really touching, and then well...when fingers do touch. She also gets easily turned on by kisses on the neck or the ear, which the bastard (aka Leon lol) does in public on purpose lol

I think none of them would do asphyxiation or hard bdsm, it's not really there thing. Perhaps they could get into hot/cold and tying at some point but nothing much harder than that
